FLORIDA!!! This Saturday January 13 2024, Alterity Chamber Orchestra will be performing major new chamber works written for them by JG Thirlwell in Orlando, Florida. This is a FREE CONCERT! The program will feature the new orchestral works Magnus Morbus and Exulansis. Alterity will also perform a woodwind quintet entitled Hernea, Thirlwell's first piece for that instrumentation. In addition Alterity will perform a string quartet version of the Manorexia classic Armadillo Stance. Alterity Chamber Orchestra’s instrumentation is two violins, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bass clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, piano and two percussionists. The show is at Delaney Street Baptist Church, 1919 Delaney Ave, Orlando, FL 32806 and is presented by the Timucua Arts Foundation. The performance is free, although you can donate if you wish. The King of Staten Island is a 2020 film directed by Judd Apatow.

The film narrates the fictionalized life of Pete Davidson himself, co-author of semi-autobiographical screenplay.

Scott is twenty-four years old and lost his father when he was just seven; he spends his life smoking marijuana and practicing as a tattoo artist on friends, trying to overcome the trauma and understand what his path is, while he has to learn to live with his younger sister in her first year of college and his mother who has found a new partner 17 years after her husband's death.

The project was announced on January 29, 2019 by Universal.

The first trailer of the film was released on May 8, 2020.

The film was distributed on demand in the United States starting from 12 June 2020, while in Italy from 30 July both in cinemas and on demand rental.

On the aggregator Rotten Tomatoes the film has received 75% positive and professional reviews with an average rating of 6.9 out of 10 based on 279 reviews, while on Metacritic it has obtained a score of 67 out of 100 on 50 reviews.

Giorgio Viaro, of Best Movie, places the film in ninth place among the best of 2020.

VOD streaming has revolutionized how we consume media, offering a more flexible and user-friendly experience compared to traditional broadcast TV.

VOD Streaming -v- Video Rental Store The key difference between a Video Rental Store and Video On Demand Streaming lies in how the content is managed and accessed.

VOD Streaming • Storage: The content is stored digitally on servers. Instead of physical copies, the organization maintains digital files that can be streamed by multiple users simultaneously.

• Access: Users access the content via the internet. The streaming platform serves the compressed video file to the device of the user in real-time.

• Simultaneous Use: Multiple users can watch the same video at the same time, without needing separate physical copies.

• Convenience: Instant access without the need to visit a physical location.

Video Rental Store • Storage: Physical copies of videos (cassettes, DVDs) are stored in the store.
