in the version of Ghosts that lives in my head, this is Mike and Alison on vacation in NYC vidcalling back home (they set up a whole construction for a phone in the ball room that's always charging and without screen lock so Julian can answer easier). It's been precisely 48 hours since they've left Britain and everyone's missed them terribly. Alison tells them about their journey and shows them impressions of New York on vidcall. Both the younger ghosts who were familiar with what a metropolis NYC is, as well as the older ghosts who weren't, are a bit in awe and feel maybe just a fraction more alive for a moment.

being an escort has ruined his image of sex and intimacy– it’s a performance he’s got to do again and again regardless of whether he wants to or not. he just zones out, does the deed, and waits for payment. he’s used to it. Sex is business and he’d rather eat his arm than show intimacy/vulnerability.

has a weird thing about sitting on other people’s chairs/couches. he wasn’t allowed to “pollute the furniture” growing up, so even now he’ll just lean against the wall or keep standing until he’s exclusively invited to sit down. 

really likes local street food, especially yaki/grilled food– takoyaki, okonimiyaki, yakitori, yakiniku etc. likes a little kick of spice, a couple dabs of green chilli sauce. was given a lot of the accidently burnt food growing up and now he’s got a liking for it, calls it ‘extra crispy’ and ‘the char adds flavour’. prefers savoury over sweet but enjoys those mildly sweet rice cakes. eats fast, usually the first to finish at the table. knows proper table etiquette he just doesn’t care. 

likes the idea of falling in love and having a family more than the actual experience of it. deep down, he wants to have a sweet kid who gets everything he didn’t. but rn he’s atleast 5 years away from that realisation 

was racist and homophobic due to ignorance, changed his views when he met all sorts of people working in the underbelly of society. shiu hit him when he first said racist stuff against koreans. 

brings shoes inside the house.

knows his way around a computer (rare at the time), can operate emails and vidcalls. helpful for his ‘business’. has a motorola phone but doesnt carry it around. 

had his beard come in early but its a patchy one. shaves twice a week.

a/n: i had initially planned to make this a pretty dark fic, with a barely-legal toji trapped in a spiral of prostitution, poverty, drugs, mental illness, and murder with a reader who takes advantage of him. but when i actually sat down to write it, i just couldn't. ik he's a fictional character but toji's suffered so much already, i ended up giving him an entirely fluffy series where he is loved and things go right for him for once.

Hi! I was reading a college setting Jonsa fic the other day and vaguely a scene not from the fic entered my brain abt a Jon surreptitiously admiring Sansa in a vidcall with Robb and *snap* off to reread Skirling!

That was the first thing I (re)read in 2025 and it’s one of your fics that I’m super fond of in the way it just crept up on me and the more relatable the older I get, when it comes to new beginnings and finding peace.

It’s not… like event-immediately-after-event or as action packed as some of your other fics (Who Else Would I Be?, Captain Crow, wildling!Jon series, Follow Me Into Blackwater… I’ve read and reread your fics and appreciate the comfort of their Jonsa endings while going through sooo many genres and settings!!! Thank you what a blessing you and your works are to the fandom!)

I think Skirling was a great read to mark the New Year!

Also hilariously at least 3 diff posts on wolves kinda started being reblogged by Jonsas as “them coded” lol around this time, and Im laughing thinking of the Jonsa of it all! But one was like, tracking the same wolf pair for years having raised their pack and then I was like, oooh I’d like to think something like that was Sansa’s observations in Skirling. (They had to write the wolves with numbers as identifiers no names but i know in my heart she probably named them in her private journals).

Anyway thought I’d share! Your fics are wonderful and are being read still. (Match Days is my comfort domestic life/established Jonsa read esp if I’m crying over a post-S6 angst ridden canon fic. Heck prob if i ever reread asoiaf too.)

So, I'm sitting here writing and getting way too wrapped up in tiny details and feeling imposter syndrome coming on when this ask appears. This is absolutely the kindest ask I've ever received. You made my day, darling. THANK YOU!

Dr. Sansa in Skirling absolutely named those wolves lol. That one has a special place in my heart. Dealing with grief and loss as a writer is cathartic for me and I think it's something our favorite couple makes it easy to explore if you consider all the trauma from canon they've endured. I don't know if that's why they work so well in so many different time periods and settings, but I'm sure it's part of it.

I'm so happy to know my Jonsa stories are still being read and enjoyed. I expect they'll continue to be there even when we finally get Winds of Winter in 2035 or something.

My friend got hooked on d20 and just reached the last episode of fantasy high freshman year. I am sooooo happy that we can chat about it and she loves it so much.

Making the other member around them confused. • Jane likes to vidcall woozi, especially when he's in the recording studio. And vice-versa. • Jane loves to write poetry especially when she's alone in the beach or mountains. Then, she will call him to give her writing and asks for feedbacks.

He kept scolding "Jein, you should dry your hair before going to bed or else it'll give you a major headache", while drying her hair ofc • During TTT water sport, jeonghan kept making sure that Jane have her towels by her side to protect herself from the wind.

Especially DK tho... • Jane will never miss a single musical show that DK stared in. Even when she misses attending one of his show, she always made it up by buying huge bouquet flowers or buying foods. • DK is one of the reason she can express herself freely and be "wild-free" during her pre debut. (being one of the few female trainees among bunch of male trainee + a super shy introverted person makes it harder to become herself) • Even tho they seems like a 3 year old children running around, deep down DK cared a lot about Jane and vice versa.

• We all know that Seungkwan.. is not that patience. But, Jane can be the only exception for this. Maybe, this is because she always defend seungkwan in mafia game to not get killed on the first round (even though she's one of the mafias) • Jane really love listening to his tips and tricks about losing puffiness (even though the other have enough of it). • Jane likes to suddenly came by to one of Seungkwan's friendly game match with his friends to show support and brought some snacks and drinks. • Both of them are known for their "honest reaction", which is iconic.
