Okay, but he literally didn't need the love story, regardless of who they paired him with. As an aroace person, Five is aroace to me, and always will be. I'm talking he's simply indifferent to both romance and sex, I'm ignoring whatever the fuck they did with him and Lila in season 4.

They are such enemies to besties, and they decided to ruin that, and for what? I mean, he literally had the whole "love story" with a literal mannequin in season 1, even after he was in constant human interaction when he went to 2019, he took Dolores around with him.

I don't know about you, but feeling romantic interest towards an inanimate object instead of any human within a 3 mile radius, gives me huge aroace vibes.

He didn't need to date anyone. No character, whether they're aro/ace/aroace or not, needs a love story. But apparently, you couldn't think of any other interesting plot other than romance. And considering pretty much every important to the story character (except for maybe 2) has at least one romantic storyline, I shouldn't even be surprised you forced it on the one main character that never seemed interested in it.

As a person who's aroace myself, I'm used to the shoving of unneeded romance plotlines, so I'm usually never surprised when it happens. But this one hit me like a bullet train.
