Veterans Day 2023 (with Divide - OC)
Tumblr media
Sorry if One is not here. I felt that this would be better with only Divide, but if I were to put in One, I'd have given them a magical arm/prosthetic arm to salute.
Apologies if the salute is not accurate.
This is a remake of the Veterans Day picture I made last year (OG pic from 2022 under the cut!)
Last year's picture:

"I have one last wish for you, Geno." "And what would that be?" "I wish that you'll continue to be there for everyone who needs a friend."
fjkfjsdlkfjdslkfjsd imagine your sona and your old comfort character meet up again after 9 years- My end goal is to redraw all my older SMRPG art, however there's like, wayyyy too many drawings of Geno and my sona to cover. So I decided to just do one of him hanging out with Zephyr and call it a day. They've got a lot to catch up on, and I don't think he's quite ready to hear what we've been through since I was that young ;A; Here's one of the originals of these two! They were originally a ship wayyy back in the day but I don't use Zephyr for shipping anymore. This specific original is from 2015!!!

Pairing: Demetrian Titus x FemReader
Warnings: talk of periods, sexual content, MDNI
Description: Titus "helps" his serf lover through a particularly painful time of the month.
Forget whatever I said about my last fic. This one is definitely the spiciest thing I've ever written! I had planned on something entirely different, but then "that time of the month" reared its ugly head. And suddenly all I could think about was having a strong, handsome Astartes to help me through it.
Titus didn’t sprint, though he wanted to.
After enduring the ominous warnings of the Chaplain, the disdain of Captain Acheran, and the incessant prying of his new squad (not to mention the small matter of a tyranid invasion), he longed for the solace of your presence.
Your touch.
Rage still burned like promethium within him when he remembered entering his quarters to find you half-starved.
“You’re alive.” You’d whispered upon seeing him. “You’re alive.”
When I find the one responsible for her suffering….
His growl sent several serfs darting out of his path. He walked faster and, at last, the door to his quarters came into view. Soon, he would have you in his arms.
Saliva pooled in his mouth at the thought.
The first time he lay with you, before Kadaku and his remaking, had been beyond his imaginings. Baseline anatomy lessons from his neophyte days supplied the rudiments. But he had the Space Wolves and a solitary Salamander he’d met in the Death Watch to thank for the rest.
He’d encountered the former boasting of their conquests one evening in the dining hall after one of them had smuggled in a few barrels of foul-smelling mjod. As they grew more intoxicated, they delighted in shocking the more puritanical Astartes in the Watch with detailed descriptions of “fraternization”.
Titus remembered being repulsed at first. Though, against his better instincts, that repulsion soon turned to wary curiosity.
While the Wolves howled about conquering and claiming, a Salamander Apothecary had taken a seat next to Titus and shaken his head.
“Not all baseline females are the wild she-wolves of Fenris.” The old drake had rumbled quietly. “If an Astartes is blessed with the affections of a woman, he should cherish her with gentleness, for she is rare and precious.”
Titus remembered a sorrowful look in the veteran’s red eyes as he spoke, and the way he stroked a bone reliquary tied at his waist.
He had tried to incorporate all he’d overheard into your union. You’d been so fragile in his hands, so vulnerable. And when your body welcomed him inside. When, amidst the white heat of his own ecstasy, he saw you gaze up at him….
Throne of Terra, I would slaughter every tyranid in the Hive Fleet to have you look at me like that always.
He punched his code into the access panel. He only had a few hours of leisure to spare, and a third of that had already been taken up in removing his armor. But he needed to feel your skin upon his again.
The door hissed open and-
Blood.
Every enhanced sense he possessed sharpened to a razor’s edge as the metallic scent filled his nostrils. Unlike before, when his mind had been clouded by sleep, he knew with absolute certainty this blood came from your body.
The room was empty. Half the candles lit. One smoking tapir on its side by the cot. Indents on the mattress the size of small baseline hands. Drops of red on the floor. The sharp taste of stress and pain chemicals. Soft whimpers from the lavatory.
All this came to him in the time between heartbeats. Another heartbeat and he stood before the closed lavatory door.
“Little Healer?”
The medicae had said you would be fine. An injection of nutrients, a high calorie meal, and rest. You already looked better when he left you in the infirmary. They said you would be fine.
He’d had to leave. He had no choice. They said you would be fine!
“Demetrian?”
Conscious and able to speak. He leaned his forehead against the cold metal of the door.
“I am coming in.”
A sharp gasp. “No! Just, just give me a moment, please.”
He heard pain in your voice. His instincts screamed at him to tear through the metal to reach you.
The door slid open.
Pale skin. Sweat beads on your forehead. Hunched shoulders. You smiled up at him, but reeked of misery.
He scooped you into his arms. “We are returning to the infirmary.”
“Demetrian-”
“You are still unwell.”
“Demetrian, please-”
He strode toward the door of his quarters. “Or did you injure yourself?”
“No, Demetrian! Listen-”
“I should not have left you alone.”
A tiny fist bounced off his jaw. He stopped mid-stride and looked down at you in shock. You looked back at him, then down at your clenched fist, seemingly stunned by your own actions.
“I…I…,” you closed your eyes and breathed deeply, “I’m sorry, my lord. I don’t know what came over me.”
“My lord?” He muttered.
“Please put me down. I’m not unwell. And I’m not injured.”
He scowled. “You reek of blood, woman.”
Throne, has whatever hurt she suffered affected her mind as well?
“I know, but it’s…it’s natural, Demetrian.”
The Warp it is. “Explain.”
She sighed. “Can you put me down first? Please?”
“No.”
He tightened his grip. If her mind was unbalanced, who knows what she might do if he released her.
Another sigh. “Fine. Once a month, a woman’s body undergoes a certain process….”
He remained silent during her entire explanation. When she finished, he carefully set her upon his cot.
“And this…cycle…causes pain?”
“Every woman experiences it differently. Some only ever feel mild discomfort, for others it’s little short of agony.”
You bit your lip. The pain smell spiked and, with it, his concern.
“Why have I not noticed before?”
You breathed slowly now, in through your nose, out through your mouth. “You’ve always been on mission during this time. And…agh…in the Watch Fortress, Lord Apothecary Nev’ran made sure to set pain suppressants aside for us female serfs.”
The old Salamander always had a soft spot for the baselines, Titus remembered.
A low moan drew his attention back to you. You folded on his cot, arms wrapped around your midsection.
His fingers twitched, automatically seeking a weapon. The instinct to destroy whatever caused you pain surged. He needed to fix this.
“Did you request pain suppressants from the medica?”
You started rocking slightly. “I…tried. He said they were unnecessary and dismissed me. I didn’t dare argue. In the Fortress, there were serfs I could go to for help during this time.” You looked up at him with a tight smile. “But I’m beginning to think I’m the only woman on this ship.”
Titus thought back over the last few days, and all the baseline crew he’d encountered.
She may be right.
“Oh Emperor….”
Your whimper felt like another Carnifex talon through his chest.
“There must be something I can do.” He knelt before you, cupping your face in his hand. “Anything.”
You pressed against him. “Heat. Heat sometimes helps.”
He let you move his hand to your lower stomach. You opened your robes and pressed it against your skin.
“And, on my back, please?”
Before you’d even finished asking, he slipped his other hand in and around. You gripped his arms and whined.
“Oh, oh yes.”
He shouldn’t be aroused by this. You were still in pain. But your soft sounds of helplessness, the feel of your skin beneath his hands, the way you trembled. All of it called to a primal part of him only recently awakened.
And when you looked up at him in wonder and said, “You’re…you’re so much bigger now.”
Throne damn it.
Titus yanked you to him and took your mouth. You yelped, but did not struggle, instead throwing your hands around his neck and digging your fingers into the hair at his nape. He snarled at the sensation, pushing his tongue past your lips like you’d shown him that first night.
This time your moan sounded of pleasure.
He pressed his body against you, lowering you to your back on the cot. Your hands left his neck and fluttered against his chest. You pulled away from his kiss.
“Demetrian….”
He pressed his mouth to your throat, laving it with his tongue and tasting your sweat. He searched for a spot he could bite without leaving a visible mark.
“Demetrian, stop!”
The magnitude of his selfishness crashed upon him.
“Throne. Forgive me, Little Healer.” Reeling back, he searched your face for any sign of pain. “I…I did not think, I…,” he raked a hand over his face, desperately trying to rein in his baser instincts.
“It’s all right. It’s just, now might not be the best time.”
“Would it cause you more pain?”
A blush spread across your cheeks. “Um…no, that’s not it. In fact, some women say…this…actually helps.”
“Truly?”
Desire welled within him once more, washing away any lingering guilt. He bracketed your small body with his hands and loomed over you.
“Then why should I stop?” You turned your face away, but he gently grasped your chin. “Look at me, and tell me why.”
“It, it,” he heard your heart beating wildly, “it could get a bit…messy.”
He blinked, then allowed a slow smile to spread across his face. “Woman, when has an Astartes ever shied away from the sight of blood?”
A new smell met his nose, one he had only recently become familiar with. He lowered his face close to yours and inhaled deeply.
“You want this as much as I.”
You nodded frantically, hands suddenly pawing at his collar. “Yes! I want this. Please, Demetrian. Please, please, please!”
He tore his robe open and flung it to the floor. Your clothing swiftly followed. The scent of blood and arousal maddened him. He tried to pull your thighs around him, but you winced at the stretch.
For the first time he cursed the Primaris surgery. Grasping your hips, he turned you on to your front and settled behind you. He ran his hands down your back and sides, loving the way you trembled.
“Are you ready for me, my love?”
You pushed back against him. “Please, Demetrian.”
He thrust and your wet heat welcomed him in. His eyes rolled at the sensation, still so unlike anything he ever thought he’d experience. You cried out far louder than you had the first time.
“Demetrian! S-so big…!”
Again. Again. Again, he thrust. In this position he felt powerful, primal. Like a beast claiming its mate.
The Wolves were right, damn them!
All at once, you tightened and screamed. With a growl he followed you over the edge.
You collapsed onto your front. “Please…more….”
The first time, he’d only taken you once, denying his satisfaction for the sake of your overwhelmed little body. But now you begged him to continue. Who was he to refuse?
Three more times he released deep within. He pressed himself to your back, hand fondling your breasts as he pounded relentlessly. He lost count of how many times you shook apart around him. His own blinding pleasure paled in comparison to the knowledge that his actions relieved your pain.
A tool designed to inflict suffering on others, but he brought you ecstasy.
“D-Demetrian…,” you whimpered.
His fingers dug into the bruised flesh of your hips. “One more.”
You wailed as he filled you one last time, arching his spine to sink his teeth into your shoulder. Then he collapsed on his side.
He caressed your sweat-streaked back, allowing himself a brief moment to revel in the haze of pleasure. You lay still and panting next to him.
“Are you well, my love?”
“Mmmm.”
By now, he recognized the sound of bone-deep satisfaction. He smiled down at you, already feeling his own body recovering.
“You were right about one thing.”
“Mmm?”
“That was rather messy.”
You turned your head and attempted to glare at him. He chuckled, rose, and fetched a wet cloth from the lavatory. Ignoring your reaching hands, he cleaned the both of you. Then he sat on the edge of the cot and lifted you into his arms.
“Better?”
Your dreamy smile answered him. An entirely different kind of heat warmed his hearts as he cradled you. He ran a thumb over the imprint of teeth on your shoulder.
“I was not too rough?”
“You were perfect.” Your hands traced his new scars. “Throne of Terra, I came so close to losing you, didn’t I?”
He heard tears in your voice and held you closer.
“I’m sorry.” You sniffled. “Another side effect of this time. I tend to turn into something of a weepy, clingy mess.”
“I enjoy your clinging.”
“But you need to go.”
“Yes.” As always, your respite, brief as it was, left him better prepared to handle the weight of his duty. “Will you be alright?”
“You have enough trouble without worrying about me, Demetrian. Human women have endured since our species began. I’ll be fine.” Your smile flickered. “Please, be safe. I love you.”
“And I you.” He pulled his robe back on and leaned down to kiss you once more. “I will return.”
And, I swear, I will find another way to ease your pain.
***
An hour passed. You rested for a bit, then dressed and cleaned yourself more thoroughly. You stripped the sheets from the mattress and prepared for the trek to the laundry and then the serf’s dining hall. Not only had Titus's attentions eased your cramps, but you thought you might actually have an appetite again.
Just as you were about to leave, a few sharp raps sounded at the door.
“Who…?”
You opened it to find a slight young woman with a face full of freckles and a satchel over one shoulder. Her robes marked her as a serf and a medica.
“Thank the Emperor!” She gushed. “I was afraid I’d gotten the wrong room!”
“Um. Hello?”
“My name is Vesta. I was just transferred here alongside my Lord Callistus. He’s supplementing the Apothecaries already in residence, you know. I was afraid I’d be the only woman! There are so few of us serving on the battle barges.”
You blinked, head-spinning from the rapid-fire chatter. “I see?”
She continued, stepping straight past you into the room. “I was just on my way back to the infirmary, when this massive Primaris Lord Angel barreled down on me. How fearsome he was! I don’t need to tell you I was terrified I’d done something wrong, and on my first day on a new ship, too! But he said you were experiencing some difficulties and needed assistance.”
Oh, Demetrian…. You fought a smile.
Vesta plopped the satchel on the cot. “I have pain suppressants, cleansing cloths, sanitary napkins. I do hope I brought enough.”
“This is incredibly kind of you.”
“Us women have to stick together, right?” She smiled cheerfully. “I hope we’ll be great friends!”
You found yourself warming to her effervescence. “I would like that.”
“You’re so fortunate to have a Lord Angel who’s attentive to your needs!”
You turned away, suddenly all too aware of the pleasant ache between your thighs. “Yes. I am.”

Clam's Quick Tips for Starting Your Very First Webcomic
Howdy! Here are the three bits of advice I tend to give people who ask me about getting into webcomic-making. Maybe they can help you jump into the fray with a little less fear.
1) Make Your First Chapter a Pilot Episode
You will be told by webcomic veterans to start with a short, simple comic idea first - which is wise - but if all you can think about is your big magnum opus, then you might as well hop in, right? Otherwise you'll just be glancing back at the other cooler project forever.
But if you can't start with a small simple story, start on a small, simple part of that larger story. Your first chapter should be a snapshot of the main conflict - show us a simple scene with few characters, ease us in slowly, keep things clear and focus on emotion/impact/clarity. Get the audience to care by offering something easily digested, but full of promise.
Once you're done with that 'pilot' chapter, and you're feeling more comfortable with the whole comic process, you can open the gates and show us the larger world. At that point, you'll be way more ready.
2) Simplify Your Art Style For Your Own Sanity
Always try to make your webcomic's art style as simple as possible - the standard rule is to use only 75% of your artistic skill for every comic page you make. Otherwise you will burn out quickly and terribly.
But you also need to be PROUD of your art style. If you're really feeling itchy, add a couple bells and whistles to your style so you can look at the finished page and say "Yeah, looks cool." You'll find the right balance the more you draw.
Also, don't be afraid to change your art style as you go along. Ultimate consistency is often impossible in webcomics anyway - so embrace your desire to try new things, streamline your work, whatever you feel needs to happen to be happiest. Sometimes the coolest part of reading a webcomic is noticing that style change - so don't hesitate to embrace it!
3) Resist the Reboot! RESIST!
The curse/blessing of drawing the same things over and over is that you'll inevitably get better at drawing those things. The trouble comes when you look back at old stuff and start thinking "Damn, I could draw that way better now."
You must recognize that this feeling never goes away. Not after a hundred pages. Not after three hundred. Not after a thousand.
I think everyone should be allowed one soft reboot for their first webcomic. Redraw some panels that bother you. Change up some dialogue if it doesn't make sense with your new story ideas. Do maintenance, basically. One of the beauties of webcomics is that they can be easily edited, without reprinting a whole book or remaking a whole game.
But if the ultimate purpose of a webcomic is to tell a story, then constant reboots will just be retelling the same story - slightly better each time, but the same at its core. We've heard it before. Most audiences would rather you save your strength and just keep going, rather than circling back year after year and going "Wait wait wait! I'll do it better this time."
Reboot early, not often, and only when you absolutely must! You're a storyteller, and you're constantly getting better at telling your story. Don't be ashamed of it - look back how much ground you've covered, and keep walking!
---
That's a good start. Happy webcomicking - don't be afraid to jump in, but be prepared to learn a lot very quickly. And if this advice doesn't work for you or adhere to how you did it, that's absolutely fine - webcomics are diverse by nature, and so are their creation processes. Feel out what works best for you, and good luck!

Whumptober Day 28 - No-holds-barred beatdown, exposure, used as bait
CONTINUATION TO DAY 13 go read that one if you haven’t (or if you need a refresher it’s been so long lol)
Hi I'm still kicking <3 only three left after this, I WILL be finishing these, NO MATTER WHAT RAAAAAH. my goal is to be done before the 15th but we'll see how that goes. I'm going to try 😓

Warnings: violence, injury, a handful of previous warnings from day 13
Day 13
ao3 link
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sky and Warriors woke up at the same time.
Twilight stirred from his spot on the ground, having let his mind wander as he’d waited. His body still ached a bit, and it wasn't helped by his stint on the cold floor, but he sat up anyway as Warriors’ eyelids fluttered, and a squeaky moan came from Time’s back, Sky’s tail flicking. Twilight looked between the two, then went to Sky first, since strangely enough it seemed like he was waking up faster.
Legend sat next to Warriors, saying something to him as he woke, and Time watched the two with slightly narrowed eyes. He looked at Twilight as he walked up, flicking an ear as Warriors let out a disbelieving noise and Legend squawked angrily.
“Here,” Time said, carefully leaning over and sliding Sky off his back. “I’m going to go make sure Legend doesn’t bite him. And that the captain doesn’t stomp our veteran by accident. Or on purpose.”
Twilight nodded, and sat down next to Sky as his blue eyes flickered open.
“Easy Sky,” Twilight woofed as he moved a little, and Sky twitched his nose.
“Ow...” he groaned, and Twilight gave his ear a gentle lick. “...Oh, hey rancher... why’re you so big?” he asked blearily, squinting as he tried to sit up. His paws slipped out from under him though, and Sky stared at them in bewilderment, the expression honestly adorable on his furry face. He wiggled a few toes, and stared at the fur and claws, blinking in shock.
“Rancher?” Sky repeated in more of an alarmed voice. “What’s going on?”
“Short version? We all got turned into animals,” Twilight admitted, giving Sky a little push with his snout in order to help him sit up when he tried again. “We fell down here and all transformed somehow. You’re one of those cat things on your island, a... was it a remake?”
“A remlit,” Sky corrected, sounding a little calmer, but still disturbed. He studied his paws, and tilted his head back, trying to look at his ears and tail. “Huh. Just like Legend that one time. Those... women did this to us?”
“Yep, the creepy voice ones. Or something down here did, we’re not exactly sure. But it’s their fault somehow,” Twilight confirmed, and watched intently as Sky shakily stood up, paws trembling. “You feeling okay?”
“Yeah, I’m— yeah. This is just... weird,” he admitted. “I... this was dark magic, wasn’t it?”
“We think so, yeah.”
Sky frowned and looked around the dark cave, large ears swiveling, and both he and Twilight jumped as they heard a distressed whinny. Twilight whirled around, and saw Warriors attempting to get to his hooves, his legs wobbling underneath him.
“Easy Captain, don’t move too quickly,” Time warned, and Warriors snorted, tossing his head.
“Don’t ‘easy’ me, I’m not staying like this a moment longer than I have to!” Warriors said, nearly falling over. “Horses are fine, I like horses, but I don’t want to be one!”
“Actually you’re a unicorn,” Legend said helpfully, and Warriors huffed angrily as Time moved to his side, helping to steady him.
“Right. I’m a horse with a big pointy stick on my head. Wonderful.”
“At least you can stab things,” Legend continued, nose twitching in amusement. “You didn’t have a weapon before, and now you do. Besides, I think the horn really compliments your flowing locks.”
“I could almost say the same,” Warriors snorted. “Flowing locks indeed. Finally the mystery of the pink hair is solved. I wouldn’t have guessed a bunny rabbit would be the cause but you—”
“Now see here—”
“All right, that’s enough,” Time said with a sharp look at the both of them. “Captain, are you feeling all right? We all saw how rough that transformation was.”
“I’m fine,” Warriors mumbled, pawing at the floor.
Twilight glanced back at Sky, who was sniffing at the scratches on his side with a wince on his face. He’d managed to stand by himself though, and so Twilight moved over to Warriors, the captain’s legs still wobbling.
“Relax Captain, we’re going to fix this,” Twilight reassured, and Warriors made another annoyed sound, his tail swishing.
“So long as we don’t need opposable thumbs,” he said. Twilight sighed.
“We’ll manage, Captain. I know this isn’t ideal, but we’ll figure it out.”
“Easy for you to say, you’re used to having four legs,” Warriors said in a sharp voice, and Twilight flattened his ears in annoyance.
“I’m stuck like this too, Captain. Just because I’m more used to four legs doesn’t mean I don’t want my regular ones back,” Twilight snapped, his worry and fear at the whole situation abruptly bursting out. “Now if you’re done arguing with Legend we still don’t know where half our group is, so if you’re able to walk without falling over let’s get going.”
Warriors blinked, obviously taken aback, and Twilight turned away from Time’s frown and stuck his nose up in the air to sniff for any more familiar scents.
The faintest hint of one that wasn’t rock or cave smell wafted by his nose, and Twilight turned in a slow circle, trying to pinpoint it. He caught a bigger whiff, and gestured with his head.
“I think I found someone else,” he said, and Time hummed in a growly way.
“Are you guys ready to move?” Legend asked, looking askance at both Sky and Warriors. Sky hesitated, his legs still wobbly, but when he walked around in a small circle he was able to keep his footing. Warriors gave a curt nod, his legs looking steadier, and he didn’t look over at Twilight.
Twilight felt a little sting of shame, but he swallowed it back. He could apologize later.
“This way,” he said, turning into the darkness, and the others followed along behind him, Warriors’ hooves clicking against the stone floor.
They kept the pace slow, in respect for both small and unsteady legs. Twilight felt impatience simmer under his fur, but he knew he couldn’t just run ahead. He was currently one of their few lines of defense, and who knew how many monsters might be around down here?
Sky and Legend walked together beside him, Sky asking questions about being an animal, Legend answering as well as he could. Warriors was obviously listening in as well, and Twilight even noticed Time’s ear swivel back when Legend started in on ways he dealt with fights.
Twilight... probably ought to be giving tips as well, he certainly had plenty of knowledge to draw on. But he was intent on following the scent, keeping a nose out for any others, watching for monsters, and also looking for a way out. Legend could handle the crash course in being an animal.
What a disaster.
Twilight sighed and kept sniffling, trying to identify exactly who’s scent it was he was following. He stepped past a couple large rocks that glowed faintly green, and as the scent grew steadily stronger, Twilight suddenly paused, his stomach sinking. Even with the strange overtone to it, he suddenly knew exactly who’s scent he was following.
He bolted, leaving the others behind, knowing the source of the scent was close. Twilight turned a corner, intently sniffing, and sure enough a few moments later his paw bumped into a small, grey-blue creature.
Twilight froze, and lowered himself to the floor, almost not believing what he was seeing.
“Oh boy... champion?” he asked, nuzzling gently at him. Wild don’t move, unconscious, and Twilight gave his head a small lick. “Hey, wake up for me?”
A chirrupy groan came from Wild’s still form, and his eyelids flickered, blues resting hazily on Twilight’s face.
“Mm... Twi?” he mumbled, ears twitching. “Where... ow... why does my whole body hurt?”
Twilight winced. “Well, it ah... might have to do with the fact that you’re a squirrel.”
Wild blinked slowly, his gaze still bleary. He flicked his ears again, twitched his tail once, then jerked to his feet with a completely flabbergasted expression.
“A WHAT?!” he yelped right as the others all rounded the corner and caught sight of him. Legend took one look at Wild’s bushy tail before his face cracked into a huge grin.
“Champion you’re— you’re a squirrel!” Legend spluttered, then burst into uproarious laughter, looking at Wild with pure glee on his face. “That’s the best thing I’ve seen all day!”
“IT’S NOT FUNNY!” Wild screeched, his fluffy tail sticking straight up. He looked a solid mixture of offended and freaked out. “WHAT’S FUNNY ABOUT TURNING INTO A SQUIRREL?!”
“It’s hilarious, actually,” Legend cackled, wheezing as he fell backwards, nearly tripping Sky. “A squirrel! No wonder you’re such a hoarder!”
Legend burst into another peal of laughter, and Wild stumbled backwards, every bit of him tense. Twilight moved towards him, and Wild let out a panicked little chirp.
“Wild, it’s okay,” Sky said, and Wild twitched his nose as Twilight gently nuzzled his head. He could hear Wild’s tiny heart beating like a drum.
“Are you hurt at all?” Time asked, and Wild shook his head, his tail lowering a little.
“No, I’m fine. I just... no. Don’t like this.”
Wild swiped a paw over his face as his nose twitched again, and Twilight very firmly held back the urge to laugh. Now was not the time, even if Wild being a squirrel was admittedly... rather hilarious. At least on par with Legend being a rabbit.
Maybe Farore has a sense of humor.
“Hey, you’ve just gotta adjust,” Legend said as he gave himself a shake, finally getting ahold of himself. “Just think how it could be worse. You could be a bug or something.”
“But I’m a squirrel!” Wild chittered frantically, his tail whirling all over the place. “I’m tiny! I’m defenseless! I can’t even hold a weapon like this!”
“Wow. What a hardship,” Legend said in a deadpan. “Being a small mostly-defenseless woodland creature.”
Wild opened his mouth to retort, then slowly closed it again, staring at Legend like he hadn’t truly looked at him until now.
“Oh. Uh... you’re... a pink blupee thing?”
“A rabbit. We all got transformed, Wild, calm down. I’m sure we'll be able to fix it,” Twilight reassured, and Wild groaned, pulling his tail over his face.
“I hate this. No thank you. Nope.”
“Join the club,” Warriors sighed, and Twilight sat down beside the little ball that was currently Wild, giving him another lick. Wild uncurled a little, looking at Twilight with thinly-hidden panic in his eyes, and Twilight’s chest tightened. Wild rarely looked so rattled.
“You’re sure you’re not hurt?” he asked quietly, and Wild nodded.
“Just sore,” he said quietly. “That transformation was awful. Is... everyone else okay?”
“We don’t know. We haven’t found everyone yet,” Twilight explained with a sigh. “No sign of Hyrule, Wind, or Four.”
“But I’m sure we’ll find them,” Sky said hopefully, his large ears spread wide. “If nothing else I’ll be able to hear them with these big old things.”
Time chuckled, and Wild’s tail flicked around, the champion obviously still distressed. But he took a deep breath and sat up, determination in his eyes. Sky watched Wild’s tail swish around as he studied everybody’s animal forms, Sky’s pupils going wide, and suddenly shot out a paw to bap at it.
Wild jumped, and Sky immediately drew back, spouting apologies.
“Sorry! Sorry It caught my attention and I was just going to watch it but then I... I don’t know why I did that,” he finished in bewilderment.
Time let out a huff from nearby. “Instincts. Never know when they’re going to kick in. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve eaten rocks without thinking.”
Twilight wasn’t the only one who gave him a strange look at that.
Unfortunately none of them got to press the question, since right as Twilight opened his mouth to ask, a loud rumbling sound came from somewhere in the cave, the ground shaking under their feet.
Warriors stumbled, and Sky and Wild both fell over, the cave shaking so violently Twilight wondered if it was about to fall on their heads. He quickly positioned himself over the smallest members of the group, but the shaking abruptly stilled, and the cave went deathly quiet.
Then Twilight growled as a familiar voice suddenly spoke.
“You have all faced the magic and come out unbroken. You have passed the first stage,” the croaking voice echoed through the cave. “The second stage still remains. Survive and we will collect the chosen downstream at the crystal waters.”
“Good luck! I can’t wait for you to finish,” the other voice said excitedly, and Twilight saw Warriors flinch.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” Legend growled, and Twilight saw Sky’s claws slide out.
“Return us to our normal bodies!” Warriors shouted, the whinny echoing off the walls.
“I don’t think she can understand you,” Wild pointed out, then raised himself to his hind legs, showing off the sword-shaped patch of white on his belly. “Here— RETURN US TO OUR NORMAL BODIES YOU CULTY FREAKS!”
There was no reply.
“I doubt she liked being called a freak,” Time said dryly.
“Yeah, probably not. But still. Rude,” Legend sniffed. “Guess we’ll just survive phase two then.”
“We need to find the others,” Twilight spoke up, unable to keep the worry from his voice. “Now.“
“She said we all survived the magic though, doesn’t that mean they’re all okay?” Wild spoke up, and Sky’s tail flicked worriedly.
“She didn’t say anything about other dangers, though.”
As if summoned, a monster’s howl rang through the tunnels, and everyone stiffened, heads turning toward the sound.
“Wild, Legend, on Twilight’s back, Sky, you sit on Time, we’ll save the most time,” Warriors said quickly, and Legend helped Wild scramble up onto Twilight’s back, Sky carefully moving to sit on Time’s. “I’d... take one of you, but I don’t know how steady I can keep myself.”
“I’ve got them,” Twilight reassured, noticing the frustration on Warriors’ face. Warriors met his gaze, and Twilight lowered his head, ears flicking down. An apology for earlier.
Warriors looked at him a moment, then nodded back, apologizing as well.
Twilight breathed out, a little of the nauseating emotions rolling around in him easing a bit. He may be tired, cold, hungry, in pain and worried, but that was no excuse to take it out on Warriors.
They needed to work together to get out of this mess.
They all rushed off, Warriors having trouble going at a pace much faster than a walk, but pushing himself anyway. That had been a victorious sort of monster cry, and they didn’t have time to waste. Even if Warriors kept tripping on his hooves and barely catching himself.
“So,” Wild said after a minute, and Twilight flicked an ear to show he was listening. “How come you and the old man are wolves while the rest of us are... everything else?”
“I was wondering that too,” Legend spoke up. “...I still think it’s beyond unfair.”
“I don’t know why,” Twilight admitted. “Your form says something about your person, they reflect your spirit... or it does in my case. Even though the circumstances are weird, I’m guessing it’s the same for the rest of you. I guess mine and Time’s just happen to be similar.”
“And I’m a squirrel,” Wild grumbled, and Twilight sighed.
“Yeah. Squirrels aren’t so bad though. They’re hardy, smart, good at climbing, jumping... besides, we can’t all be unicorns,” Twilight pointed out as he hopped over a rock, and Wild and Legend both let out small huffs of laughter.
“I guess not. Still pretty strange there’s so much variety,” Wild hummed. “I would’ve guessed we’d all be wolves.”
He was quiet for several seconds, and Twilight turned his attention back to navigating through the dark cave.
“...Wait a second, if our animal forms reflect us, and Legend is a bunny—”
“Don’t you dare finish that thought.”
Wild chittered out a laugh.
His amusement faded when another snarl echoed through the caves though, and Twilight exchanged a glance with Time, trotting even faster. If anyone was hurt because they couldn’t get to them in time, Twilight didn’t know what he would do.
The green rocks increased in frequency around them, the darkness of cave a bit less intense. Twilight could hear water now, and regular grumbles and snorts that sounded like monsters. Time caught Warriors when he tripped again, and they all ran down the sloping passageway.
They turned a corner, and Twilight’s eyes went wide.
An underground stream flowed in front of them, wide, but fast, water a crystalline blue so bright it looked unnatural. More of those green rocks were scattered in and around the water, and though Twilight couldn’t see colors the best as a wolf, he could tell the mix of them was rather pretty.
But more important than the water or rocks was the group of moblins on the other side, one dragging a motionless deer behind it, another trying to bat away something running around by its feet.
“Hey!” Wild shouted, and leapt off of Twilight’s back, rushing over to the stream and attempting to hop across the rocks. His paws skidded on the slippery stone, but he managed to hang on and keep going. Twilight barked for Legend to hold on, and jumped into the water, quickly swimming across.
The water was achingly cold, but Twilight ignored it and Legend’s small squeak of dismay, paddling as fast as he could. The current wasn’t too fast for him, and Twilight leapt onto the shore right as a moblin kicked the small figure at its feet, making it squeal in pain.
Whoever it was went flying, and Twilight lunged for the moblin, teeth bared. Legend clung to his fur as he bowled the moblin over, and Twilight heard Time snarl as well, a different monster screeching in pain.
The disgusting tang of monster blood got in his mouth as he snapped at the moblin, but Twilight didn't let go until it let out a dying gurgle and went limp. He raised his head, watching Time struggle with his own moblin, Sky trying to help where he could, and also saw Warriors hurriedly trying to cross the water beside Wild.
Nobody had reached the moblin dragging the deer by the leg though, and Twilight whirled towards it, leaping at the beast with his fangs bared.
It saw him coming, and dodged his lunge to its neck, Twilight’s teeth closing around its arm instead. It snarled in anger as it dropped the deer, then raised a large club above its head, eyes glinting maliciously. Twilight knew he wouldn’t be able to move in time to avoid it, but then Legend leapt off his back, attaching himself to the moblin’s face and scratching and kicking at it furiously.
It screeched, and Twilight bit it on the wrist, making it drop its weapon. The moblin gave its head a violent shake and Legend went flying, but the opening was what Twilight needed to leap forward and finally bury his teeth in its neck.
He heard a splash behind him, fear ratcheting into his throat, but he couldn’t let go until the moblin fell still and it was stubbornly refusing to do so.
Come on, die already! Twilight thought with a snarl, abruptly twisting his head to the side.
A sickening crack rang out, and the moblin finally fell still, its tongue lolling. Twilight felt a lurch in his stomach at the more violent instinct he’d given into, but he swallowed it back and spat blood from his mouth.
He turned back to the water, and felt a quick flicker of relief as he saw Time standing over Legend's limp form, viciously attacking anything that came nearby. There were only three moblins left now, and Warriors was attempting to handle the other two, Wild goading them on and distracting them while Warriors attacked with his hooves and horn.
Which just left the question of where Sky and the other animal had gone.
Twilight whined anxiously, looking around the bloody shore for any sign of them. There was a lot going on, but he was sure that he would’ve noticed one or the both of them being hurt.
Twilight suddenly saw splashing, and he hurried over to the water, ears pricking as he saw a lithe shape struggling towards the shore, Sky’s large ears visible beside it. Twilight leaned way out, prepared to jump in if necessary, and when both heads dipped below the water, Twilight quickly splashed in and gently snatched them both by the scruff.
He dragged them to shore and set them down, then frantically sniffed the both of them, Sky's scratches reopened, the other animal's tail bleeding.
“Are you two okay?” Twilight barked urgently, and the lithe, creamy colored animal nodded shakily as he scooted closer to Sky.
“I’m good,” Wind’s voice chirped tiredly from it, turning his head so that Twilight got a good look at the swirl of blue on his head and back. “Or good enough. This... is so weird.”
“Yeah,” Twilight agreed, then turned his attention to Sky, the poor remlit panting with exhaustion in a soggy heap on the ground. “You good buddy?”
“Give... me... a sec...” Sky coughed, a shiver running through him.
Twilight nodded, and glanced back at the battle just in time to see a moblin charging for them, eyes crazed.
Wind squealed in alarm and Twilight leapt to intercept the monster, snapping at its neck. Somehow it managed to dodge the attack, and abruptly slammed its club into his side, making Twilight yelp in pain.
He was knocked to the ground, but despite the pain he got back up almost instantly. The moblin was running for Sky, and a feral snarl escaped Twilight as he leapt back at the moblin again. This time he managed to knock it off-balance, and Twilight and the moblin went sprawling to the ground, snarls and the snapping of teeth ringing through the cave as they struggled.
Twilight ignored the sharp ache ringing up his side and focused only on taking down the moblin that had been charging for Wind and Sky. It gave as good as it got, and Twilight was already scratched and kicked and sorely aching when the moblin suddenly raked its claws into his muzzle.
A sharp sting ripped across his face, and Twilight yelped in pain as he reeled back, tears welling in his eyes.
“Twilight!”
Something snapped in Twilight, and despite the sharp pain, he lunged back in again, snapping ferociously at the moblin’s neck. He clawed and tore and shook the monster under him, and it wasn’t until something pressed against his side and shouted his name that Twilight realized the moblin had gone still, and it was silent in the cave once more.
Twilight stumbled back, panting as blood dripped from his face and mouth, staring at the ripped-up moblin below him. It was barely recognizable, and bile rose in his throat, shame and disgust slamming into him. Something suddenly butted gently against his side, and Twilight wearily raised his head, seeing Time looking at him with alarm in his eye.
The older hero was gently supporting him, and Twilight wondered why before he suddenly realized his legs were trembling.
“I’m okay,” Twilight said finally, sitting down with a whine at the pain in his side and face. At Time’s incredulous look, Twilight huffed. “Seriously, I am. Nothing’s broken, just bruised, I can tell.”
“Bruised ribs are no joke,” Warriors said as he walked by, but he didn’t stop to bother Twilight about it further. He was making his way over to the deer, who was still lying ominously still on the ground. Legend at least had stirred nearby, but he looked a little dazed, a paw held close to his chest.
Fear lurched through him and Twilight struggled back to his feet, Time still supporting his side, and he walked slowly over to Legend and the deer.
Time didn’t further question his injuries, but Twilight could feel his gaze on him as they made a brief detour for Twilight to wash some of the blood from his mouth.
I get it old man, you’re worried.
Twilight swallowed, the taste of blood still in his mouth.
I am too.
They made it to where Warriors had gone, and Twilight sat down with a huff, the others all gathered around in a loose circle. Twilight looked around at them all, bloody, disturbed, weary and damp, and lowered his head down to rest on his paws.
Are we anywhere close to getting out of here?
Twilight breathed out slowly, and tilted his head to look at the deer, a light brown and with a few speckles of pale green scattered around on his back and face. Warriors knelt beside him, and gave the deer and Legend both as much of a look-over as he could.
Wind scampered past, his feet making little paps on the floor, and he sniffed at the deer, then looked fearfully at Warriors.
“Is Hyrule okay?” he asked, fur still a little damp.
“Yes, Hyrule is okay,” a voice groaned, and Twilight turned to see the deer raise its head, blinking dizzily. “Ow.”
"Traveler!" Legend and Wind said at the same time, both looking relieved.
“Careful,” Warriors warned, but Hyrule shifted around anyway, moving like he was going to stand up.
He immediately toppled over when he tried, his hooves going everywhere, and Wind let out a sympathetic little noise. Hyrule blinked, attempting to correct himself, and when he failed, stared up at the near zoo standing around him.
“Um. So why do I have four feet and feel like I got doused in dark magic?” Hyrule asked, sounding surprisingly unconcerned. “Also... why’s there a unicorn just standing there?”
“That’s me,” Warriors said grumpily, and Hyrule blinked.
“Oh. Okay.”
“Weird cult ladies, we were dumped in a cave, dark magic stuff,” Legend summarized from where he'd moved to sit beside Sky, and Hyrule nodded, accidentally hitting his antlers on a rock.
“Ow. Yeah... I remember now. I thought I heard Wind when we fell, and I got up to go find him, but then I felt all that dark magic and blacked out,” he reported with a scrunch if his nose. “And now I’m a... deer?"
“Looks like it,” Warriors said, and Twilight heard the grim smile in his voice. “Welcome to the hoof club.” Hyrule looked around, then blinked, staring at the eclectic pile of animals gathered near Sky. "...Is that rabbit wearing a vest?"
Warriors snorted out a laugh, and then attempted to give Hyrule a crash course in who was who, and also how to walk with hooves. While they stumbled around, Twilight took the opportunity to look around at everyone else, making sure they were all still accounted for. Time was beside him still, a few scratches on his leg, some blood staining his muzzle. Legend and Wild were huddled beside Sky, trying to warm him up while Legend nursed his injured paw, and Wind and Warriors were cheering Hyrule on as he tried to raise himself up on wobbly legs.
That meant the only one missing now was Four.
Twilight looked at the stream, remembering the croaky voice’s mention of water. The exit must be somewhere near here if they were going to be... collected, but they couldn’t leave without Four.
Where could he be?
“...okay, so I know Twilight and Time are the wolves,” Wind said, and Twilight looked back to see him moving to sit next to Sky as well. “Wild’s... a thing? Furry thing?”
“A squirrel,” Wild sighed. “And Warriors is the unicorn, Sky is the cat thing I forget the name of, Legend is the rabbit,” he said with a snicker, and Legend glared at him. “And you're a... I actually have no idea what you are.”
“He's an otter,” Legend said grumpily, attempting to tie his vest into a sling with one arm. “They swim around and eat clams.”
“What’s a clam?” Wind asked.
“Shellfish.”
“That’s not very nice of him,” Hyrule said as he wobbled over, and Wild and Wind joined in on his laughter while several of the others rolled their eyes.
“Enough goofing off, we still need to find Four,” Twilight spoke up, and everyone turned to look at him. "And any ideas on how we're going to deal with these witches or whatever they are?"
"We head downstream and see what happens I suppose," Time sighed. "Our smithy must have heard that message too, he’ll know where to go."
"He could be hurt though," Wind chirped worriedly, rubbing a paw over his whiskery cheek.
"And what if he was unconscious somewhere and we missed him?" Legend added.
"Twilight or the old man would've smelled him though, wouldn't they?" Warriors pointed out. "Twilight's been looking for scents this whole time, surely he would've gotten some sign of him."
"Wait, what if he got turned into a fish or something?" Wind suddenly gasped, looking at the water. "What if he's down there and—"
"Quiet!" Sky suddenly shouted in a croaky voice, his wide ears held out.
All of them went silent, and Sky swiveled his ears around, looking ruffled, but a little less like a drowned rat as he carefully sat up. Twilight pricked his ears too, and for a moment, all anyone heard was the noise of the stream rushing by, and blood and water dripping softly from wounds.
Then Twilight heard a pained cry so soft he could barely make it out.
"That was Four," Sky gasped, obviously able to make it out better than him. "He... wait."
He pricked his ears, and then his eyes went wide.
"I can hear those women, they have Four!"
Twilight jumped to his feet, biting back a whine of pain as his side sparked angrily. "Then we need to go help him, come on!"
“We can’t just rush in there without a plan,” Warriors whinnied, stomping a hoof. “Rancher you’re injured, Hyrule can barely walk, Sky practically drowned, we need a plan if we’re going to be able to—”
“Then I’m going by myself!” Twilight snarled, and whirled around and took off, ignoring the others’ shouts and cries to come back.
Twilight’s paws pounded against the stone as the others’ voices faded behind him, every step sending a jolt up along his injured side. Blood was drying on his face, sticky and uncomfortable, but Twilight only ran faster, listening for any more signs of Four.
He knew he would need the others’ help. He knew he wouldn’t be able to take them on by himself, and Twilight especially knew he was being incredibly stupid by running off alone.
But he didn’t care.
Every moment could matter for Four.

been reading up on your old Silent Hill Prompts and the fanart people drew of them, and not I kind of want to see what you'd come up with if you could the later games. Like what would you do for a War Veteran or a Lonely Trucker Who's Maybe A Bit Too Into True Crime?
Okay so for people not really up on Silent Hill or my opinions on it, the second game (series-defining and still considered the all time best) established that no two people have the same Silent Hill and that the town manifests vague nightmare forms out of their memories. Despite this, most of the series kept repeating monsters designed specifically for SH2's protagonist, and modeled all other monsters loosely around how his looked. In Homecoming you play a war veteran, and it has some cool monsters honestly, but none of them feel remotely war themed. In fact they're mostly themed around sexuality, which was also already the theme for a lot of 2's monsters.
Tumblr media
The only one that feels like "war imagery" is the Smog, but it's kind of bland. The only thing that really sticks out about it to me is that its fleshy tumors kind of look like an explosion. I think that's what I'd have run with. Creatures that look like they're exploding or even look themselves like "blasts," roiling and moving like fireballs and gas clouds but they're solid, meaty things. Maybe some with vague figures writhing inside?
Tumblr media
Not mangled gory Hellraiser haunted house stuff but abstract impressions of destruction hastily formed from flesh, burning and dissolving everything they touch.
Environmentally, instead of the rusty look of all the other silent hills I'd made his look like everything is the inside of a military vehicle. This is the interior of a tank apparently:
Tumblr media
So other SH games indicated your proximity to the other world by the degree of blood, rot, rust and arbitrary metal stuff, and arguably that still fits in with war, but I'd define this guy's nightmare realm by extreme claustrophobia and convoluted mechanical bits. At first perhaps just a couple more buttons and dials than you'd expect, and in odd places like the outsides of houses. When he's fully immersed in his Silent Hill it looks like that photo and all that stuff is pulsing and churning and threatening to swallow him up.
This went on longer than I thought so I'll have to think on the Lonely Trucker game a bit more.
For those who don't know though, there's an upcoming brand new Silent Hill (not the shitty Bloober remake of 2) that actually does finally test out a radically new and different visual theme and that looks VERY promising, exactly how far I always wanted the games to vary:

do u listen to certain music while drawing starscream and megatron stuff?
if you’re asking if I have a playlist, I do not! when I work I usually throw everything I have on shuffle and I am lazy, so I’ve never sat down and tried to make a themed playlist. but I guess I could try to think of a few songs!
account veterans probably associate me with mcr, which is fair. the song “Demolition Lovers” is probably my favorite and the one I’d recommend here! If you want other emo stuff, “Current Convulsive” and “Hell Above” by pierce the veil too!
if you want metalcore “Sleep Disorder” by Sycamour is really good! so is “Acid” by ghost town, and “Ascensionism” by sleep token (some people don’t like sleep token but I think theyre very fun)
and for misc, I’ll throw in “Face of Melinda” by Opeth, “God Made Me An Animal” by Better Lovers, and “Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles” by Fall of Troy! (While I’m here, I just learned that one of my favorite songs from when I was in middle school got a remake/sequel, Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing by Set It Off—that one is super nostalgic to me, and if you’ve never heard it before you’ll probably see why!)
anyway, that’s a little assortment of songs from my recent listening for you! tbh I’m sure you guys could come up with much better playlists but I wanted to give you an authentic selection from my music taste lol

Ok ok, remaking order
I asked for a headcanon about the prime time reacting to the reader (preferably a woman), who is between 18 and 20 years old and works in a bar, as a bartender, and who sometimes needs to deal with some drunks causing problems (some slightly aggressive)
I forgot there is a character limit for headcanons and that's why I didn't specify which
I would like Optimus and Ratchet.. and if possible, a small exception, Ultra Magnus 🥺
Well that's it, I just didn't specify which characters, sorry about that, thanks for listening, have a nice day/night ❤️
A/N: I didn’t do Magnus since it’s a two character limit per HC request, but I hope this is otherwise okay
~Ratchet~
•There were bars on Cybertron too of course, such as Maccadam’s Old Oil house, so he does know what bartenders do
•He picked you up one night after your shift, and you got to talking about how it had gone
•There are quite a few regulars that visit the bar very often, and they make sure no random people bother you
•Of course there are sometimes people who like to pick a fight when they’re drunk, but you’re quite good at talking them down
•Ratchet is a bit worried about your safety, because at least on Cybertron the bars were pretty freaking rowdy and chaotic
•It can sometimes be like that for you too, but it’s pretty rare for there to be any customers that are aggressive towards you, they mostly just fight amongst themselves, if they even do
•Because of your profession, you’re a very good listener and people love opening up to you and just talking your ear off
•Ratchet notices himself doing this sometimes too, you’re just very easy to talk to
•Your job isn’t exactly glamorous, but you enjoy it
•You’re often confiscating car keys from your customers, because they’re too drunk to drive so you have to put them in a cab
•Ratchet is well aware that you have to make a living, and he’s not going to tell you what work you can or can’t do, but it doesn’t stop him from worrying about you
•He sometimes comes to the bar in his holoform, just to keep you company, but that’s a rare treat since his time is very limited
•Ratchet doesn’t drink much if at all, and he doesn’t want to distract you from actual customers, so he just sits at the end of the bar and nurses a glass of whiskey or something
•He’s just there to keep an eye on things and to make sure you’re fine
~Optimus Prime~
•Optimus thinks your profession is quite interesting, especially the people side of it
•He isn’t the most talkative sort, but once he drinks some high grade, he does get a bit more talkative
•He can only imagine how many odd things you might hear from all those drunken people you serve on a daily basis
•Some people just need to vent their troubles, even if they don’t really get drunk, they just need someone to talk to
•Of course you get hit on a lot too, being an attractive, young lady, but that kind of comes with the territory
•You get harassed every now and then, which you tell Optimus about, but there’s not really anything he can do about it, he just listens if you need to vent
•Optimus comes to visit you at the bar every now and then, and he sometimes calls you when he knows you have a break, just to ask how you’re doing
•When Optimus does end up at the bar, he does have a couple of drinks but the whole holoform thing has lifted his tolerance to high heavens so he doesn’t really get drunk at all
•But it does still make him more talkative, and he ends up sounding like an army veteran at the bar, because of all the battles he’s talking about and stuff like that
•You have to sometimes stop him from talking because he starts sounding a bit unhinged to people who aren’t privy to who he really is

I am not too sure who needs to hear about this but with the recent release of the F1 Movie Teaser in the ball game ads night I want to say something that some of you might be too young to know.
THE F1 MOVIE IS JUST A REMAKE (but even worse) OF DRIVEN (2001).
There I say it. If you have watched Driven, you know what I am talking about and probably agree with me. For those of you who are too young or too same to have watched that mess, allow me to illustrate.
When Sylvester Stallone was filming Judge Dredd around 1994, he discovered Formula 1 and basically fell in love, he attended the 1997 Italian Grand Prix and proudly announced that he would make an F1 movie.
Here he is with my beloved Michael. And with the obnoxious gremlin Bernie.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And all was cool and fine until something wasn't. Instead of being about F1, it became about CART (a bastard sibling of Indy whose origins are a too convoluted for this post and the entire thing folded in 2003 anyway). I cannot find exactly why F1 and the teams backed from the movie, but considering the end result, most bets lay on the script.
Even with the CART setting, F1 elements are still observable on the end result though.
Why is Burt Reynolds' character, the team principal, in a wheelchair. Can of remind you someone?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But anyway, back to my initial point.
The whole plot of Driven can be described as: Veteran driver who is past his prime years comes back to the sport to help a young gifted rookie to become a champion. There will be teammate tension, physically impossible crashes, things that definitely Don't work like that (TM) and real-life drivers peppered in the background, such as Mario Andretti, Jacques Villeneuve, Juan Pablo Montoya, Adrian Fernandez, etc, etc.
DOES THAT REMIND YOU OF SOMETHING?!
In general, is a very bad movie, motivations are questionable, characters are illogical, and if I explained every absurd thing that happens I could write a full book.
HOWEVER, Driven might be better than F1 The movie. At least it had real actors playing the characters. They even had German actor Til Schweiger playing a Schumacher pastiche that functions as a rival in racing and love to our plucky rookie.
Tumblr media
@nest-of-shiny-things already explained this in far more detail, but it's kind of hard to have a good movie when your actors cannot interact with the world, even if the world is dumb.

The federal government is going MAGA — fast.
Why it matters: President Trump has only been in office a week, but the departments under his command are moving with blazing speed to transform the federal bureaucracy into an army of loyalists.
The new administration immediately moved to freeze nearly all foreign aid, root out DEI programs, remove officials and whole offices deemed ideologically suspect, and muzzle public health agencies.
"We're getting rid of all of the cancer ... caused by the Biden administration," Trump told reporters while signing a Day One executive order that stripped employment protections from civil servants.
Driving the news: Late Friday night, the White House fired 17 inspectors general — independent agency watchdogs responsible for identifying fraud, waste and corruption.
The mass firings, relayed via email, appear to violate a federal law that requires the administration to notify Congress 30 days before removing inspectors general.
Amid outrage from Democrats and ethics experts, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) — a Trump ally and longtime advocate for whistleblowers — called on the president to explain his decision to Congress.
Zoom in: DEI offices and programs have been shuttered across the government, including at the CIA, Department of Veterans Affairs, Army and Air Force, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
Federal workers have been ordered to report colleagues who may seek to "disguise" DEI efforts by using "coded language."
And Trump directed federal agencies to each identify "up to nine" major companies, universities or non-profits to investigate over their DEI practices.
There have been hundreds of staff removals or reassignments, including at the State Department, where far more career officers were asked to resign than in past administrations.
The Department of Justice reassigned at least 15 senior career officials, including a top counterintelligence attorney involved in the FBI's investigation of classified documents Trump stashed at Mar-a-Lago.
The DOJ also rescinded job offers to recent law school graduates who were placed through the Attorney General's Honors program.
Trump's National Security Council sent home around 160 staffers while Trump officials conducted loyalty screenings to ensure they're aligned with his agenda.
One of the administration's highest-profile firings so far was Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Linda Fagan, the first woman to lead a branch of the U.S. military. She was accused of leadership failures and an "excessive focus" on DEI at the Coast Guard Academy.
Between the lines: Trump loyalists have also moved to centralize control around public messaging, particularly when it comes to public health.
The Department of Health and Human Services ordered an unprecedented "immediate pause" on all health reports and social media posts through at least the end of the month, leading scientists to cancel CDC meetings on the escalating bird flu outbreak.
The Pentagon also ordered a global pause on all official social media posts until the confirmation of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who has promised a radical culture shakeup across the U.S. military.
The new administration is also moving quickly on issues including LGBTQ and civil rights.
The State Department froze all passport applications with "X" designated as the gender.
DOJ ordered a freeze on civil rights litigation and is weighing a potential reversal of police reform agreements negotiated by the Biden administration.
It also ordered federal prosecutors to investigate local and state officials in so-called "sanctuary cities."
Meanwhile, the Pentagon moved to abolish an office set up during the Biden administration focused on curbing civilian deaths in combat operations.
Zoom out: Trump made no secret of his intentions to build a MAGA-aligned federal workforce during the campaign, and he quickly imposed a hiring freeze after taking office.
The vast majority of federal workers are career employees, not political appointments, but the president has made clear he wants them all to board the Trump train.
His administration is currently testing the ability to email the entire federal government workforce from a single email address.
What to watch: Trump's nominee to lead the Office of Management and Budget, Russ Vought, will be a key architect of the White House's efforts to re-engineer the administrative state.
Vought has assailed "the woke and weaponized bureaucracy," and said in a 2023 speech to his conservative think tank that he wants to put federal bureaucrats "in trauma," ProPublica reported.
"When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work because they are increasingly viewed as the villains," Vought said — comments he defended during his confirmation hearing.

"Long as we stick together, we'll be fine."
I have not been able to stop thinking about this line from the ending of RE 2 Remake. In the original, Leon's final words are about stopping Umbrella. And at the time, I assume that's what Capcom intended. Everyone grouping up to stop Umbrella... but things changed and RE 4 happened.
Can't really blame them for losing that story thread (actually you can and should, but I digress). In hindsight, they probably regretted it. But they didn't have a crystal ball to know the future with.

Can't really say the same thing about the remakes though. By virtue of being a remake, Capcom kinda already knows how the story is going to go... so why have him say this line when they know for certain that they'll be separated from each other very soon? Maybe to give new players an optimistic note to end on while also twisting the knife for veterans?
Maybe...
Or...
There was a recent IGN interview with RE 4 Remake's producer, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, that has stirred up some rumors of an Operation Javier remake of some sort. Combine that with the ever present rumors of a Code Veronica remake and...
What if we ARE getting that CV remake with Operation Javier being a "Separate Ways" style dlc later on? Maybe the game could even start with Leon saying those words only to go on to show how he, Claire, and Sherry all get separated from each other and how they all ended up very not fine.
Anyway, that's just where my mind has been lately and this is purely speculation. But please excuse me while I go cry into my pillow.

Holy fucking shit. This is probably the best remake of any game I've ever played. I have a few minor nitpicks of course, you can't please everyone, but those are inconsequential to the MONUMENTAL amount of improvements, QOL changes, and just straight-up cool shit they added to the experience. Like the music??? Good lord they added so much music. I wasn't super sure if I was gonna be into it originally, but by god almost all those new tracks are fuckin' BANGERS.
Anyway this game absolutely rules, and it's made even better by this remake. There's something here for everyone, a great game for newcomers, a bunch of surprises for veterans, and canonical trans Vivian to piss off the losers >:)

So for all you DeviantArt veterans, there was this TT artist named SparkyX who was famous for BBRae art. He had this art of BeastBoy waking up and I loved it as a teen.
So years later, I decided to remake it but, make Beast Boy older.

So yea...you can take it as answer for this.
If it's going about smg4 there are two things.
That last time if don't count puzzlevision when I watched it was "Totally normal Smg4 episode" so if I make any mistake about serie keep in mind that I'm unupdated veteran which is catching up. So feel free to correct.
The brown shit which you see is practically my Smg4 oc. It's come from times where I had only four Ocs so I will probably need remake it. For now all you need know is that it it's, it's mean to be cringe and brain rot, and by lore was made by Smg3.
And also character belong to @the-masked-astro or @astro-vision-au it's depends which side you prefer and you should check them.
And also for now I'm sorry but I will be more active but more dodles on notebooks than digital art....yea I think I mistaken a breakdown as art block and now After that i dusts himself off . So yea...
