The rain that had threatened to fall all day finally began it's decent when Willow eventually found the escaped goat.

It was standing still - too still - by the edge of the forest where the ancient part of the woods called the Old Roots began. Willow ran up to the goat and scooped it into her arms; there was no resistance from the goat. The animal was unharmed thankfully, but Willow was concerned about its seemingly paralized state.

She was torn from her thoughts as a faint blue glow appeared from the bushes. A moment later Willow's heart stopped as something far bigger than her rustled the golden leaves of the birches, and she too froze as she stood face to face with what could only be a Forest Dweller...

I'm hosting my very first DTIYS over on my IG and this is the illustration I made for it 🥰

🍁 Dance pf Fairies and Gold 🍂

It's been a while since I last worked with watercolors but when @vesprynna posted her DTIYS I was very inspired to recreate it traditionally! So here is her lovely character Willow with her baby goat, deep in a autumn forest.

The fairies are acting up, a wind is howling and dark fog seeps through it. Is it the forest protecting her from something? Or is something trying to scare her away? What could it be hiding in the woods aside from this little forest witch?

Lately I've been so braindead and tired from renovating, moving and raising our new pup that I haven't had time nor energy to work on my own projects or ideas - so DTIYS are a great way to keep drawing while I finish other things 🥰 I've been thinking about offering commissions similar to these in the future... Could be fun! ✨

I spotted a beautiful DTIYS by arts.by.tamara while browsing IG the other week and couldn't help but join!

I don't often share DTIYS I do here - unless I'm really proud of them or they vibe with me on a deeeeep soul munching level 😂

Idk, I really feel this piece leveled me up and unlocked some unknown part of my art brain! I just love how she looks and how good it felt to draw this. It rarely happens to me, but I somehow feel like I found a piece of my soul in this! Maybe I'm not as lost on my art journey as I thought bahah!

My Ko-Fi supporter Honeybuttbutter.Art kindly invited me to his DTIYS featuring his OCs Bonstrophus and Ambeth, and seeing these two I couldn't refuse the invitation! I love Bonbon, he's such a handsome leonin and Ambie is so beautiful!

I decided to draw them enjoying themselves on a date at a festival, dancing and having fun together 🥰

✨🌿Mielikki's Chosen🌿✨

I finally got around to joining @unicornia93 's DTIYS! She's hosting over on IG to celebrate her 30th birthday which was in June 🎶✨ Those who have followed me a while will probably recognize this guy as her Dnd OC Gaeril 👀

Here he is in fierce battle alongside his friends, while his god Mielikki's avatar prances above, guiding his way ✨

Below the cut is a side by side comparison with my entry for Unicornia's first DTIYS in 2020, which this one is a callback to👀✨

Gaeril has grown and matured in our campagin, so I wanted to show his growth through the years with my new DTIYS🥰

At first he's a withdrawn, insecure apprentice druid, but in time Gaeril learns of his fate as one of Mielikki's chosen and what potential he can truly reach ✨ It's kinda fun how this became a Old vs New redraw meme too 😂

Another DTIYS I've joined 🥰 This is Alex, an OC belonging to Marty_Illustrator_ on IG 💕 I just thought Alex was cute as a button, and I really loved giving my own spin on her design!

The dress gives me so much Princess Serenity vibes, took me straight back to my childhood haha!
