I spotted a beautiful DTIYS by arts.by.tamara while browsing IG the other week and couldn't help but join!

I don't often share DTIYS I do here - unless I'm really proud of them or they vibe with me on a deeeeep soul munching level 😂

Idk, I really feel this piece leveled me up and unlocked some unknown part of my art brain! I just love how she looks and how good it felt to draw this. It rarely happens to me, but I somehow feel like I found a piece of my soul in this! Maybe I'm not as lost on my art journey as I thought bahah!

Finally finished a piece for my Altmer (High Elf) OC Airalila!

Should make a character sheet for her in the future.

-------- Bio -------

Born in Cyrodiil to Summerset expats. She was taken to the Imperial City at a young age to learn at the Mage's Guild. She excelled at being a student at the guild. But this was all to please her parents. One day, the stress and anxiety of living up to her family's expectations finally broke her. She did her best to stage her death. She ran away (technically levitated away.) from the city. After months of wandering the country side of Cyrodiil. She was taken in and given shelter by a Monastery of Dibella. There she was accepted into their group, becoming a healer. She was taught to appreciate the beauty of Tamriel. Traveling the province, with an easel and canvas trying to paint sights that she herself considers beautiful. Along the way of her travels, she provides her role as a healer. Treating the sick and wounded and spreading the teachings that Dibella would want mortals to be aware of. She could also be considered a non official (never went to a school to learn) bard as well. Providing healing melodies at taverns and public locations in towns and cities.

This is for an art trade in a small Discord artist community I joined a while back. I decided to make a DTIY of a picture my art partner drew. There is not that much to tell about the piece. The character's name is Talya and her creator is Yumiyu. And I tried to recreate the scene she drew in my style. Background is once more done with the help of one of James Julier's Art Tutorials. The picture was done in Procreate and SAI. Background - Procreate Elf and tupils - SAI 2 (with some finishing touches in Procreate). Since she doesn't seem to have any socials I don't just want to share her original picture here. But the original piece can be found in the gallery here: Link
