Been thinking about Ford watching the 70s Animated Lord of the Rings Movies... (companion comic to this post!)

#the other two VHS tapes Fidd's is holding are Rankin-Bass' The Hobbit (1977) and Return of the King (1980)! The 70s animated pseudo-trilogy!#A lot of people pointed out on my other lotr 'crossover' post that Ford would have seen the 70s movies!#And i wont lie i entirely forgot they existed. But now i remember i have so many feelings on it okay. Ford my silly LOTR nerd #I dont think he would have seen Bashkis in theaters. far as I can tell it was a VERY limited (likely mostly CA) run in the middle of winter #but Rankin-Bass'? I'm going to get to them ALL.#Back to Luo Binghe (both versions). You see...the substance he is made with has a chemical reaction to affection.#Like how a pokemon has multiple paths to evolution depending on it's friendship points or exposure to random stones #so to does he evolve into various forms. I feel like Bingge (Ht) would be a noble gas. Unable to form bonds #I could also see him as a Halogen-type of element! Highly reactive and only truly found in manufactured environments.#And Binghe (Lv) would be an alkaline earth metal (+2). Sturdy. Forms bond better but not freely giving them away.#this is the second time I've related characters to elements - and I am far less familar with Scum Villian so please feel free to chime in.#I could be way off base here and I am very down for someone to talk chemistry and character themes.#Thank you all for the love you have given my silly little LBH. every year people get angry when ao3 requests donations but honestly in a world where almost all spaces online are slowly being eaten by corporations which censor the content on those sites, having a fan-run fan-sponsored place where people can create gay art without fear is great

#ao3 #i understand the frustration when donation posts are not getting funding #while ao3 does #but ultimately you can't control how people spend their money and having a space like this for #people to preserve writing even if its silly fanfiction is a good thing #archives are very useful and important and preserving a space of the internet for works created out of joy and passion #is not a bad thing #urging people do donate to any random donation post instead of ao3 is reckless when it's incredibly hard to verify #the source of the donation posts and whether its legit #unless of course you know the person in question

thinking about dabi who gets shy everytime you two make eye contact. he lets out a soft grumble as you persistently try to make him face you, it takes a few minutes before he finally gives up on your stubbornness. the two of you look into each other's eyes, with his hands on your waist and your arms wrapped around his neck. his eyes reminds you of the color of the ocean when the moonlight reflects on it, the prettiest eyes you've ever seen— and you can't help but notice the slight hints of sadness inside them. his eyes tremble before he looks away and places his head on your shoulder. if he could blush, his cheeks and ears would be tainted with a shade of pink right now.

Obi-wan is fresh off divorce and decides to go find himself using the settlement money he got from selling his part of the business he started with his wife so he gets to really go all out and travel all over. his second week, he runs into fresh out of college Anakin Skywalker who is doing a last summer of youthful freedom trip with his buddies before real world adult life comes calling. they fuck and hang out for the two or three days they overlap in the same place and then they part ways

only to meet again in like. the pasta aisle of the grocery store ten years later when anakin is fresh off divorce, trying to work out custody of his two children, while also settling into a new part of the city that hopefully doesn’t remind him at all of his ex & obi-wan is a silver fox of a man now who thinks, well. fucking anakin for a week way back then really did help him get over his failure of a marriage while also being super awesome for his confidence. It’s only fair that he lends a hand now that it’s anakin’s turn. or a mouth. etc
