And he was very emotional, too. But calm. And I just cried about everything again, the songs, what he said about his wife, then little seven-ish year old boy so happy to be there and on his dad’s shoulders to see Ed, the friendship groups that held each other and the couples that enjoyed it together. It was a really beautiful experience and I felt so fucking grateful for the fact that I can enjoy music so haptically, that I get to have the ability to feel it SO deeply and that live music is gorgeous.

This is tumblr generated prompt number 52, from Kayden_the_Vagabond on ao3! Inspired, hehe, by one of my favorite movies: Matilda! I put Gregory at about twelve here. As a minor warning, Gregory goes way over the top with tormenting Afton and some of it may be a bit disturbing. (title comes from the saying “it’s not paranoia if they’re really out to get you”)

It’s Not Paranoia if Gregory’s Really Out to Get You

Gregory watched, day after day, as his dad came home from work exhausted and weary, sometimes even glum. He tried to put on a cheerful smile for Gregory, but Gregory wasn’t stupid. His dad was being worn down by his dumb boss who had called and interrupted more than one movie night to yell down the line. They barely went to the park anymore because his dad was forced to work late and on weekends. Their silly breakfast and dinner traditions had come to a halt because his dad was too tired all the time. 

And Gregory wasn’t having it. 

He knew from some reconnaissance and eavesdropping that the main boss at his dad’s workplace, William Afton, was high-strung, cruel, and liked by exactly no one. He had also discovered that he was technically shared the position with his business partner, who was probably the only human being on the planet who could tolerate Afton for more than a minute. 

Henry Emily wasn’t a bad boss. William Afton was. As far as Gregory was concerned, the math was simple. 

All it took was digging up Afton’s home address. 

On the night he intended to enact the final stage of his plan, Gregory made sure to pick a movie with lots of songs he could sing along to at the top of his voice. He felt bad for keeping his dad awake like that—he kept feeling him jerk out of his doze, squished into his side as Gregory was—but it was necessary. 

Because once they’d headed to bed, his dad, who hadn’t gotten even a nap in since getting home, was out the second his head hit the pillow. He started to snore almost immediately, a sure sign that he was in a deep sleep, the type he wasn’t easily woken from. 

Gregory waited just a little longer before climbing out his window and pulling his bike out of some bushes. With his route memorized and his destination already familiar, he set off.

As a long-time troublemaker, Gregory had mastered the art of silently moving around. And as this wasn’t the first time he’d broken into Afton’s house, he knew all the creaky floorboards and squeaky hinges. 

He slipped inside like a ghost. 

He’d long ago stolen some paperwork to learn how to mimic Afton’s handwriting, and he’d come prepared. In the home office, he replaced entire stacks of reports and contracts and invoices with nonsense ones, all perfectly signed by William Afton. He left sticky notes throughout the entire house, all in Afton’s cramped handwriting with reminders and random thoughts, many of which reeked of paranoia, referencing “the voices” and the way “I keep losing time” and “the children in the basement.” 

In the basement, Gregory unloaded an entire duffle bag’s worth of dolls. Plastic dolls, rag dolls, porcelain dolls, dolls with their mouths and eyes sewn shut, dolls with no heads, dolls stained red, dolls missing limbs. He hung decapitated heads from the ceiling on fishing line and littered the floor with a dozen blank ball-jointed dolls, all crawling and reaching for the stairs. 

The fridge he mostly emptied of normal food. Gregory filled it back up with rotting meat, worm-strewn fruits and vegetables, and moldy leftovers. The milk he left Afton with was more solid than liquid, and the orange juice was half vinegar. 

In the pantry, he unleashed a vial or three of ants. To help them along, he opened the cereal and crackers, spilled the bags of nuts and chips, and tipped over the jar of honey. 

On silent feet, Gregory entered Afton’s bedroom. By the light of the moon, he slowly, carefully, meticulously sprinkled itching powder into each dresser drawer. He superglued tiny bits of pebbles into the fancy shoes lined up in the closet. 

For his final act, he snatched the small collection of watches on the vanity, changed the time on all of them, then put them in a lockbox covered in more of Afton’s handwriting, warning himself not to touch the cursed items within, for each bore the time of death of someone Afton had touched. 

(Oh, if only Gregory knew.)

He left the lockbox on the living room coffee table and cheerfully went out the back door, making sure to lock it behind him with the copy of Afton’s key he’d pickpocketed two weeks ago. 

Back through the streets he went, gliding silently on his bike, all the way home. Gregory settled into bed with a smile on his face, sure that if nothing else, Afton would have a pretty awful day tomorrow.

The next morning, William Afton turned up to work late, disheveled, and with something like madness in his eyes. At the end of the day, he had something of a mental breakdown, turned violent, and got arrested for assault. This turned into a deeper investigation, which unearthed evidence that he’d killed five children over the course of eight months. 

(It took all the self-control Gregory had not to burst into hysterical laughter when he heard the news. There’d been five watches that he’d put in that lockbox. No wonder the man lost it.)

For obvious reasons, Henry Emily took over the company. Gregory’s dad started coming home with a bounce in his step again. 

They resumed their old habits of frequently going to the park, making breakfast together, and eating dinner as a living room picnic. His dad wasn’t too tired to sing him to sleep anymore, and no dumb boss ever interrupted movie night again.

i think that really unstable perception of yourself is extremely normal!! it really goes back to have an unstable inner self as well. of course, some days you can look entirely different. honestly, you can even look different in the same day!! when we arent very stable in ourselves, our looks can shift and change constantly. ive truly experienced this myself, and its super trippy. more than anything, just keep practicing deciding how you want to feel about yourself, despite anything else!!

(p.s. if you ever expand on a longer part that is more romance focused compared to s3xual plot for the next installation, plss include some more soft moments🤞)

Built on Mount Kissmore, The Kayman School of International Excellence is a boarding school/academy set for the children of the wealthy elite across the world, set in Massachusetts.

For practicality purposes, the school's student body is split into four different houses: one called Nicomedia (The students nicknamed as Martyrs), another called Sirmium (The students' nicknames being Emperors/Empresses), and the third named Mediolanum (the students called Scholars), and the third named Treverorum (the students called Magnates).

the electives include: gardening, filmography, drawing and painting, baking/cooking, horseback riding, anatomy, creative writing, etc.

the clubs include: chovgan, the student council, the debate team, the soccer team, the year book committee, baking club, the art club, the film club, the theater, etc.

on weekends, the uniform rule is not enforced and, when classes are over or when going out to the neighboring town, you can wear whatever you want.

the dormitories are extremely big! they're divided by house, grade, and gender. this is an extremely exclusive school, so we don't have to worry about overpopulation aha. basically, you have four roommates on average that shares ur house, grade, and gender, where you share a small living space together that has a small kitchen and four rooms for the each of you. you can bring anything you want there!! all of the dormitories of a house connect into one big Commons Area where the entire house can meet up! another house sneaking into a house's area is strictly forbidden, as well as parties being against the rules. (not that the students listen...)

the lunches are extremely yummy!! they have the best chefs from all over the world, and we eat a lot of different food everyday :) there's breakfast (served at 7:25 AM, just before we start our classes), lunch (served at 12:30AM), and then dinner (served at 3:00PM). there's also plenty of dessert hehe :3 vending machines for both snacks and drinks are all around the campus!

the town neighboring our school is called Lovers' Alley. it's the perfect place to hang out :) it has a killer shopping mall (with designer fashion brands), both local diners and vip eating spots, hair and makeup stylists, gas stations perfect for late night slumber party expeditions, and more :D

the fashion tastes in my school for girls is very 90s/2000s it girl.

everybody knows each other at the school. there's some house rivalry, but what really runs the school is a group of girls everyone calls The Spades. they run the school with an iron fist and incredibly fashionable clothes. there's also an app for our school, created by a gossip with an identity nobody can figure out. the app is called "JUICY", and it details the lives of the students at Kaymans... lots of drama on there; there's pictures, submissions, and you can comment/like on each post but you can't actually post on there. only the Gossip can. every post uses nicknames for recurring "hens" (basically a term for popular people) while using initials for "chicks" (people who aren't popular but got involved in smth).

there's a lot of dances at school, too. a welcome-to-the-school dance that takes place on september 3rd called the Start of Autumn; a Halloween masquerade dance called the Masquerade Ball on october 31st; a winter ball on December 26th called the Kiss of Winter (where there's a king and a queen elected); a New Year's ball hosted on January 1st called The Fest of New Beginnings; a Valentines' ball; and, finally, an end-of-year ball called The Fresh Summer. not to mention all the parties already hosted by the students unofficially... it sure does get busy!

January 11 2025 continued

Meow meow, greetings to everyone who reads my blog entries on a daily basis. Thanks. Anyway I am back again on my blog. I thought that I would share how I am doing lately since I blogged at my usual time. Meow this neko boy has been doing pretty much a lot of things since I blogged last. I helped my mom and dad with taking down the Christmas decorations in my dad's office. I also helped with taking down the Christmas tree finally in my dad's office. Office at home not at his place of work which would be different. The snow didn't last that long it all pretty much melted down here in this part of Georgia USA. Meow this neko boy also played a bunch of Fortnite rounds and I almost made it to number one spot on a ranked match. I also played some Animal Crossing however not in the order as in I played Animal Crossing first today and then played Fortnite. I also went with my mom today to Dollar General and then we went to other places today. I didn't spend any money today however I did Friday purchasing an Unrated version of the movie called M3GAN. Meow currently it is just 32 degrees outside. Meow I just finished having a very good shower and before that I watched a couple of YouTube videos while I ate dinner which was Mexican food from a restaurant. Meow well that's pretty much covers everything. I will pretty much cover anything else that goes on tomorrow in tomorrow's entry of course hehe. Anyway that's about it.
