Yes skulls are a big no no in Navajo culture. But really so are tattoos in general. There is zero tattoo historical practices for the nation. Some even see tattoos in general as dishonorable as you are marking/destroying your body. Similar to how hair is sacred for many inking the body is like cutting off a person’s braids. Not all believe this but some do. Roy’s original tattoos have no true cultural significance. Devin Grayson either made them up entirely based off stereotypes or confused another cultures practice and mistakenly applied them to Roy. The idea that they are ceremonially or culturally significant is 100% fake. In fact the new 52 tattoos are actually more culturally accurate as later stories wrote they were purposefully made to be wrong and off putting to Roy and try and signify that something was wrong.

A very informative video. I do agree with some of this. I think Amy has been mishandled as of late, though I do agree with toning down Amy's affection for Sonic. I prefer Amy showing her love and compassion evenly among the people of the world and beyond it.

However, I don't agree with toning down Amy's femininity. Amy being feminine and liking girly things is not a bad thing. Amy's pink dress and boots are iconic and I wouldn't trade them for anything else. Despite I do like her Riders outfit and for a certain fanfiction I'm reading it stays as her default attire. Ahem, anyway, Amy having a more girly personality is not bad at all. We don't need more girl boss butt-kickers because that means we get repetitive characterization.

Amy can both be feminine but still kick some serious ass.

Also, now I know why SEGA will vet all questions for Ian's Bumblekast. Jesus Ian, why would you say that about Sonic and Shadow?

It's not really what I think those strategies are - there's lots of discussion and evidence about the strategies and available to UK celebrities to manage the British tabloids.

The basic strategy is to have someone who has information and power who can play their game and keep your story out of the headlines. There's a very good article in popbitch about it - and this byline investigates article is also pretty key. People only talk about the strategies after they haven't worked, but it still gives you a pretty good idea of the lay of the land.

It's important to understand that for at least the first two and a half years of 1D Max Clifford was involved in their publicity strategies. Max Clifford has boasted that nobody he represented was ever outted. There's quite a lot of information about how he operates in Louis Theroux's documentary 'When Louis Met Max Clifford'.

Tabloids haven't changed that much, and the strategies needed to deal with them haven't changed that much.
