5. 📚: What kinds of books would your OC like to read? Do they have a favorite genre?

starstruck is not a big reader! she can fake it to an extent (texting, reading a sign, picking off a menu), but for some reason words in Popstarian Common are all a bit tricky to figure out when they're on the page. especially when there's a lot of them all at once, like you'd find in a book! however she very much enjoys being read to (or any form of oral storytelling), and in cases like that she- perhaps unexpectedly- actually seems to prefer non-fiction. at the very least stuff that doesn't focus a lot on fanciful narratives about people she doesn't know or care about. information about her friends, popstar, other planets, or other galaxies are her favourite. this makes her a prime target for Meta Knight, who tends to accidentally info dump about the most droll of weather patterns, King Dedede, who enjoys spinning a bit of a tall tale about just how cool his adventures with his 'sidekick' Kirby have been, and Magolor, who has decades of wonderous intergalactic travel that he's always eager to share.

not since waking up in the castle dedede infirmary! thankfully most of her closest friends are crazy talented and crazy powerful and crazy good at defending themselves, so this isn't a huge concern. she doesn't recall ever being close to anyone before that, so i'll answer this one for her and say that a staggering number of people are well and truly gone. whether they were 'close' to her is a whole different story, though

19. 💫: What is your OC’s favorite place to visit on Popstar?

starstruck loves to travel with her friends, though she doesn't often get to accompany them on their grander adventures. she loves popstar, all of popstar, and is always excited to see any part of popstar!! cookie country and castle dedede surrounds is where all her best friends live, and where she spends most of her time. it's also one of the safest places on the planet, due to the presence of insanely overpowered little guy. it also unfortunately has the highest concentration of other waddle dees, so she spends a lot of time dodging them or hanging out in slightly more secluded spaces the astronomy tower of castle dedede is another place she likes a lot. great view of the sky, castle waddle dees rarely visit, and it's technically where Meta Knight's room is so she can pester him for attention if he happens to be there. she's never been to any stratospheric locations, but i think she'd very much like the aesthetics of bubbly clouds!

im back on my reinhard/julius agenda but hear me out okay.

au where they become friends much sooner. childhood friends au.

julius’s whole world shakes when he goes to the knighting ceremony for children of noble knighting houses and he sees reinhard there—reinhard, whos powerful and Amazing and intimidating and it makes julius realize that hes far behind reinhard. it makes julius realize that he has to work harder to reach reinhards level of skill and power. but hes all starry-eyed, and he manages to catch reinhard after the ceremony and starts excitedly talking reinhards head off because reinhard is just so—awe inspiring—and ten-year-old julius at this point has way less filter and impulse control so why shouldnt he try and get close with reinhard of all people?

meanwhile reinhard is even more depressed after recently being 1. officially knighted and 2. officially given the “van” title and 3. his dad is gradually getting worse and he feels like its his fault, but julius is the first person around his age that actually shows interest in befriending him, so reinhard is just awkwardly going along with it because he doesnt want to chase julius away. hes super SUPER eager to finally have a friend. thats what they are right?? hopefully?? and reinhard is desperately holding onto this because yeah, julius likely wont like him anymore real soon, but itll be good while it lasts right?? he doesnt even mind that julius keeps asking questions about knighthood and training, because everyone does that anyway, so reinhard offers to help train julius and BAM they are now gonna meet regularly 👍

joshua meanwhile is Suffering even more than he already was because not only did julius develop an infatuation with reinhard, joshua also—like in canon yeah—faints during the knighting ceremony because FUCK I CANT LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH JULIUS IF HES GONNA BECOME FIXATED ON REINHARD AND LEAVE ME BEHIND AND ALSO I HATE REINHARD AND JULIUS FOR BEING SO PERFECT, and then joshuas worst nightmare becomes true because reinhard notices this and offers to help joshua and julius home, and julius accepts of course, and joshua wakes up to reinhard and julius being buddy buddy and then reinhard starts visiting the juukulius mansion regularly so joshua is absolutely SEETHING. SEETHING.

anyway reinhards regular visits go great 👍 all he has to do is walk (Travel At Extremely Extremely Fast Speeds) to julius’s house and back 👍👍 and it doesnt take much time for julius to get out his favorite books and info dump excitedly to reinhard because reinhard of course will listen to all of this and feel all warm inside because 1. oh are we friends now? 🥺 and 2. aw julius is so passionate about this 🥰 but then it takes a turn because of course julius has his hero worship with REID ASTREA. theres a tappei qna that confirms that reinhard Knows what reid was like, and if reinhard knows that at this point, he just sits there awkwardly while julius goes on and on about how cool and awesome reid was.

reinhard then has to decide whether to break the news to julius or not, but given how in canon julius didnt know what reid was like until he actually met reid, reinhard probably didnt tell him if reinhard knew at that point. so little eight year old reinhard sits there and goes “aha yeah… reid… what an interesting person…” which then turns the subject to reinhards family, which then leads into some talk about julius’s family too—but while julius is more likely to open up a tiny bit, reinhard is more like “my father is a good person who tries his best 🙂” and julius is like “i hear that hes. kind of not. but ill take your word for it i guess haha i mean IVE never met the guy” (he recognizes reinhard getting Upset about this subject) and reinhard is like “my father is a good person yes 🙂”

meanwhile alviero juukulius is very aware of all those nasty rumors about heinkel astrea and the astreas in general and alviero is Very Aware about his nephew/adopted son’s budding friendship with reinhard, who now regularly shows up to the mansion via Speed Walking, but alviero is like. well reinhard is a very well meaning child, i just hope no drama comes out of this haha.

anyway one day little ten year old julius with his Reduced filter and impulse control (tappei has said that younger julius was a Bit of a troublemaker) goes “reinhard you should sleep over at my house please 🥺 and maybe we should sneak out of my house past curfew and go on an adventure or something lol” and reinhard is like going ??? because of course breaking rules almost never occurs to him and the idea of breaking one makes him anxious. but julius is like “cmooon please 🥺🥺 itll be fun 🥺🥺 we’ll be out and back here so fast, no ones gonna know, itll just be us 🥺🥺” and reinhard of course 1. cant say no and 2. julius would be very happy if he agreed, so he goes along with it. they go have fun they have some kind of adventure and for a moment reinhard forgets all about all the Various Pressures he is under <3

and then they go back to julius’s house and alviero is waiting there casually like “snuck out again julius? *insert exasperated sigh*” and reinhard FREEZES UP hes like “oh sir ahah its not julius’s fault. it was all my idea actually. all mine. i dragged him along with me. you should punish me instead. im really really sorry i broke the rules sir” because he’s afraid julius will REALLY get in trouble. and julius and alviero stare at reinhard like he grew another head because “jesus christ its not that deep, youre not in That much trouble. im just gonna like ground julius for a bit, its not like im gonna. kill him. or anything.” and also “JESUS CHRIST YOU ARE NOT OKAY??”

anyway yeah reinhard is a very welcome visitor to the juukulius mansion (unless youre joshua) but every time he goes home, carol and grimm help make sure reinhard’s visits arent noticed. but. well. one day heinkel will notice. its inevitable, especially when eventually reinhard and julius will officially join the knights together. and heinkel will probably give this nasty little laugh and go “well. have fun while that lasts.”

and it doesnt last.

my biggest pet peeve continues to be how much they just say the things meant to be showed or explored later on. zuko wastes a scene info dumping to his uncle about things he already knows just so the audience is caught up, gran gran spits out all the avatar lore suddenly, aang gives an entire monologue about being the avatar before he runs away when his thoughts should absolutely not be that clear about it yet.

it bothers me SO much that this guy is so old, like what's the purpose of sokka then ?? if the rest of the men in the tribe aren't literal toddlers ??

sure sokka was the protector but this guy existing means he wasn't ever that alone in that role. it makes who he was a lot more superficial. sure, you can argue some of the people of the southern water tribe believed the role was superficial, or just not that important, but to sokka it was who he was and what shaped him. i'm guessing they probably did this because it was kind of insane to leave the entire tribe alone without sokka there to protect them. but to me that was always the point. sokka didn't want to leave, but he understood that leaving them alone was for a greater good that would ultimately mean all of their safety. he was able to leave because he knew, in a way, he was still doing everything he could to protect them. now he just gets to walk away without any worries, leaving behind a role that was apparently not even that important to him ?? also !! it does feel a bit sexist on the creators' part to think that surely those women couldn't have survived on their own, they need whoever has some testosterone to protect them. that's literally what hakoda did and what caused sokka to have wrong ideals (wether or not hakoda did it with these intentions or not). so. the showrunners just did that to another character but without punishing it this time.

Detailed guidelines/suggestions post

Hey there! I shop for a lot of ocs to draw on art fight, but you're more than welcome and encouraged to shoot a request in my inbox-- I just make no guarantees I'll get to it.

You can truly freeball it and shoot reqs into my inbox like a medieval catapult on fire, but very optionally if you're curious, I wrote some in depth outlines for what makes it easier on me!

1.Submissions

Exact vehicle of submissions, ideally, is a message in my askbox with a link to a social media post, art fight page, toyhouse, or other page with pics of your oc in one easy place with a text description of more info like their name etc

Second-best preferred is using the submission function to deliver the same thing (several images + text details). No minimum or maximum, if you only have one reference thats totally fine!! But the more you tell/show me, the more i can appreciate them <3

There’s no wrong way to do it! The listed above are just what I prefer, but as long as I have access to at least one good reference, we’re all set 👍

1.Visuals

Of course, full bodies help the most. If you have an all angles reference sheet, it's great to include it. References of their visual world like scenery, magic or tech VFX, visual language... The more rich your references, the more material for me to latch onto and likely more excited I get abt it! I really love character work in my illustration, IE showing their personality through face and body language, so the more you tell me about who they are, the better. Pinterest boards make me go absolutely nutso and greatly multiply the chances I'll want to draw it! :D

Conversely, the less specific you are with the actual content of your request, the more likely I'll draw it. If you dump a rich library of references with no spef requests, I'll get to interpret it the way I have the most fun with! Yay! You can get specific (ex., 'please draw these two OCs studying together at the National Library of Congress') but it may make it harder for me to get to if it's out of my usual range.

Here's an example of an absolutely enticing request that got all my creative gears turning for a fully rendered piece! Note it has a variety of references, some backstory, and a couple alternate medias like a playlist and a pinboard. (This is above and beyond though, and not at all required!)

2. Limits

I won't draw NSFW or extreme body horror/gore (some light horror/injury is cool, though) so please refrain from putting those in my inbox as well. I'm ok with mechas (tho tend to interpret them liberally)

There's no hard max character limit, but to be level with you the odds I draw a req diminish greatly above 2, and go to near-zero at 3 or 4 chars.

3. Disclaimer

Also, on the subject of limits, this is your reminder that a request does not guarantee I draw it. I started this blog because I really like drawing OCs, but its still true that not everything strikes my inspiration. Not at all a reflection of your lovely amazing characters, but more of the fact I have specific taste, like anyone else! I will not be going through every req in chronological order. I may draw one from a long time ago, and then one from today. I may stop doing requests for a bit and just pull from Art Fight bookmarks that inspire me. Please don't resubmit the same req/char, but feel free to submit multiple different chars!

Playtime, Paisley, and Andrew (Baldi's son, for those unaware) honestly treat each other like cousins. Paisley's legal guardian is Micah, Playtime's stepdad is Prince... and Prince and Baldi are best friends, so those 3 are super close.

Paisley - 15 (she/her) Super overprotective of Playtime. Stays out late hanging out with Andrew. She's finally on medication for her OCD so she rarely ever has hallucinations anymore!! Yippee!! She's pretty mature actually, for a 15 year old.

Playtime - 15 (she/her) Gonna be so real, puberty hits this poor kid like a truck, some days it takes ever fiber of her being to not curl up in her bed and cry. She's super studious and loves laying in bed watching magical girl anime. She's very into soft harajuku styles as well (like yume kawaii and a bit of lolita and stuff <3). She does get relentlessly bullied, but luckily she's got some pretty cool friends that tend to beat people up a bit too much–

Andrew - 15 (he/him) In a bunch of AP and honors courses and is burnt the hell out!!! He's pretty depressed and constantly beating himself up... Paisley will help him escape all the work and ruminations and just be a teenager sometimes. It's pretty awesome :D

Art Audrey- 14 (she/her) She's a very reserved art student, but believe it or not she's been managing her anxiety pretty great! She's been dating Billy, and boy does that kid have some enemies for protecting the LADIES in his life. Speaking of which...

Billy - 14 (he/him) He's still got anger issues, but he's learned how to be a lot more true to his feelings. Any time he sees his girlfriend or his childhood friend, Playtime, getting bullied, boy does he let them have it. Anyway, him and Audrey love to make comics and stories together, they have a huge universe with the craziest plot– it's super nifty 👍

Now I know what you're probably not thinking, but I've gotta bring it up. Playtime's bestie, 1st Prize!!! They stay best friends of course but... gosh, there's really no good way to put it. Philip (that's 1st Prize btw) passes away when he's about... 17. Playtime visits him all the time, of course. Some days she'll sit by his grave for hours, doing homework or telling him how her week has been or plots to her favorite anime... she'll also visit his mom sometimes and just hang out with her :]

Another big thing you've probably noticed is AUDREY!!!!!! Yeah, she's trans, pretty cool B) Now, as for interacting with her in the current timeline of the blog (pre-transition), it's best to still just use Art and he/him, solely because at 8 years old he's like "damn being a girl would be so awesome, too bad that's impossible" (if anyone wants to throw little asks at him about said topic tho to help him figure things the freak out, i cant stop you 😳🤭)

The Philanderer's New Hairdo (Headcanons)

• Ren didn't always have his signature two-block. He only got it sometime at the very end of his second year.

• Prior to that, he had a standard haircut with side-swept bangs. Ren wanted a change. Like any teenager, he wanted to get experimental, switch things up-- he was craving a new look and wanted to go with the Two Block.

• His parents refused. They're fairly strict and place heavy importance on the family reputation, but were with him 'cause he was overall a good kid. Ren knows this, which is why he was persistent about it.

• And by persistent, I mean he pestered them non-stop about it. He never stopped bring it up, and not-so-subtly wondered if he deserved a reward for his good grades *wink* *wink*

• So after the second term finals, they finally relented and to any Kami listening to them it wouldn't turn out as horrendous as they envisioned it to be.

• Ah, teenagers...

• Literally, right after the second term was over, Ren went straight to the barber shop to get his dream cut.

• He never told Virtuosos 'cause he wanted it to be a surprise. When the third term rolls around, they were gonna meet a brand new Ren 😊

Now, onto the Big Five's reactions. Keep in mind these hcs take place pre-canon, so the B5 aren't super close yet.

Gakushuu:

• Hates it >:(

• Absolutely despises it!!

• It's canon Gakushuu is scared of early balding, so you can imagine how overly protective he is of his hair.

• Then Ren shows up with more than half his hair gone. The sight causes Gakushuu internally malfunctions. Flashback to Candy's Android Shuu hc

• It's also so painful to look at, Gakushuu instinctively touches his hair, as if by looking at Ren's head, large patches of luscious strawberry blond hair will fall from his scalp.

• What do you mean Ren wanted this haircut?!

• Look, this businessman-in-the-making knows it's trendy, but he doesn't get why it's trendy. What's so awesome about shaving off your own hair for reasons as frivolous as style? How the hell is such atrocity considered stylish??

• Were it not for Ren's social standing, Gakushuu would've let him go and never looked at him again *steal another angry glance at Ren*

• It's on the list of things he hates about Ren. Actually, it's now the number 1 thing he hates about Ren, beating out height. Gakushuu would rather befriend someine taller than him than an enemy of hair!!

• Highkey judgemental of Ren's life choices, not that he'll ever say it outloud, man's got connections to build after all.

• And...he'll admit Ren's company is pleasant, so it would be a shame to lose that.

Araki:

• To be honest, Araki was not expecting this from Ren at all.

• Sure, he knew the guy was cool and fun to be around, but he never knew Ren would be so daring.

• Araki isn't a fan of this hairstyle, but he'll admit Ren pulls it off nicely.

• Just needs a little time to get used to it...

• Seriously, he thought he and Ren were on the same wavelength. Now, He starts wondering if he should also get a new hairstyle as well. Not the Two Block of course; no way it'll look good on him. (Plus he's too scared to shave any of his hair off anyway)

• Starts researching hairstyles out of curiosity, which turns into a research on social causes of trends, which dips him into the world of fashion, which leads him to learning about the color theory, which lead to him learning about color psychology, and he info-dumps onto his friends the next day.

• Gakushuu was the only one invested in this intellectual discussion.

Seo:

• Big fan 👍

• He first assumed Ren was some goody-goody rich boy, then lightened up when he got to know him better, but still thought Ren was a little bit of a goody-goody.

• Since Koyama was the last to join and wasn't close to any of the guys at first (expect maybe Gakushuu), he was pretty indifferent to Ren's new look. He wasn't even there when the old look was still around.

• As a result, he's so used to the Two Block that he can't imagine Ren without it. He could be stare all day at a picture of Ren in his pre-Two Block era and his brain wouldn't register it's the same guy. It's like he's looking at stranger.

• He jokingly asks the other guys to tell him about this "stranger" and what sort of person he was.

Gakushuu: He was an outstanding, respected individual.

Seo: He looked like a wimp, and he kind of was one to be honest.

Araki: He was pretty nice, but so quiet you almost forget he was there.

• They make up legends surrounding this stranger and add him to the seven wonders of Kunugigaoka for they never knew whatever happened to him.

• Ren isn't sure whether he should be amused, confused, or annoyed by this.

• Meanwhile, Koyama is giggling like a mad schoolgirl as they make the legend more and more absurd. They even added a dragon at one point. (For Irony's sake, they refused to add any female characters 😈)

SILLY FUN FACTS ABOUT MY AU!!!

After the whole incident (which I will explain later), Raph seemed to take on the more wild side of himself (aka the silly turtle instincts). He wouldn't talk as much or be affectionate as he always is. He always seemed to distance himself from his brothers (Realistically snapping turtles are a solitary species), but not fully leave the room or have them leave the room as he still didn't enjoy the loneliness.

He seemed to have a much bigger appetite than usual, Leo sometimes finding him in the middle of the night raiding the fridge or pantry. The only thing he really seemed to target was meat as due to his turtle instincts, his more carnivorous appetite took over. Whenever Mikey made food, he always made a separate dish for Raph, to fit his new standers at least.

His aggression seemed to rise, whenever his brothers approached him from behind or while eating, he took it as a sign of them trying to attack or steal his food. Therefore he would use his big ol' jaw and try and snap at them (he always felt guilty and apologized after).

Due to the fact Snapping turtles are VERY aquatic turtles, Donnie made a separate little pool room, and just to make it more comfortable to Raph he made it similar to a legit swamp, with a small underwater plant bed and everything (he's very proud of his background in agriculture and plants in general).

NOW WE CAN TALK ABOUT THE... INCIDENT

(very quickly, I'm arguing if this could take place if the movie never happened or if this happened before or after the movie)

how this all happened you ask? This all happened when a mission went wrong at Big Mamas' hotel. Big Mama had noticed Raphs power and strength and figured she could use this to her advantage. She had ordered some cronies to be a decoy to distract the red one and corner him. After a whole cool anime fight later they finally capture him.

He awakens in a dark concrete room, the only light barely illuminating it being the small window above him or the small opening in the steel door. The loneliness starts to kick in before he hears Big Mamas' sickening voice. She explains how he's stuck here now, how now he serves her. She would just barely feed him, only giving him small scraps here and there. So, even though it sickened him to the core, he had to resort to... other options

yatta yatta yatta, some months go by, he gets into some fights, goes overboard, eats them, and the process repeats. That is until his brothers manage to rescue him. They find him rather malnourished, and of course in his savage state. Just barely do they get him home without getting caught or killed, and almost getting home.

Donnie is awestruck by how Raph managed to survive this long without food or so he thought considering his large size. He was so glad to have his brothers back, but the things he had to do at the battle nexus still haunted him, so even then he slowly distanced himself from his brothers, afraid he'll hurt them.

They were still worried even then, as he still wouldn't eat. Not even his favorite foods. But one day when Donnie did a checkup on him, he was rather silent. too silent. Out of nowhere, Raph charged at Donnie, headbutting him right in his stomach. He couldn't even get up before Raph charged at him again, this time his hand grabbed onto Donnie's face pinning him down.

A clean rip on Donnie's arm would be heard as Raph's jaws clamped down on his shoulder, ripping his arm off.

It was a little harder for me to read through the rest of this book today. I think I was a little fed up by it. (And reading started feeling somewhat like a chore, since I could get out of bed now and had the energy to find different entertainment - ToTK my beloved.)

Final thoughts:

She asks Xaden about his scars, acknowledges he's private about them, and then she's surprised he doesn't want to tell her? That's such a personal question. Very invasive. If he wanted to talk about it with her, it's on him to start the subject. Ugh, I hate this trope in fiction when the person that doesn't talk about their trauma is painted as paranoid or mistrustful. Just leave the poor guy alone.

"Shit, am I flirting?" Girl, you've literally hooked up twice till now. For all I care, he's your boyfriend now.

"When did I ever give you the impression that I give a fuck what people think about me?" Literally a page ago, when you said that you don't want a saddle because others would think of you as weak.

They're seriously teasing about kissing again as if they both don't want it, as if they aren't flirting on every page, as if they haven't almost fucked.

It's kinda disappointing that Violet has lightning powers. Naolin had the power to heal. Hell, he almost resurrected Brennan, which is incredible. Impossible even. I feel like lightning should fall under elemental wielding, in the same category as water or fire, which Violet mentions are fairly common. I don't know... I expected something cooler. (Future me: At least it turned out to be pretty cool to use. So ok, I'm going back to half of what I said, but I'm gonna stand by the fact that this power seems barely insignificant compared to some of the others.)

The first time a specific year gets mentioned is at page 431. Four hundred thirty fucking one. And its introduced as AU (after unification). What unification? Yeah. I was just waiting for the whole gryphon army to finally approach Xaden and the other separatists. It would have been a good plot point if there was any build up on the politics behind the war, but there was none, so I feel very indifferent to this revelation.

CANNOT believe Yarros decided to INFO-DUMP such a stupid little detail like the name of gryphon fliers while Violet was literally ready to murder Xaden.

Violet knows, she KNOWS Dain can read minds. How could she forget a power like that? How could she forget that her best friend is able to read her mind every time he touches her face??? That's a really big invasion of privacy. And she caught it once and slipped away from him. Every normal person would have never trusted him again. And now she's surprised he's been doing it the whole time???

That last battle was pretty exhilarating, but I got lost in the number of venin and wyvern more than once. Still, Violets final attack was really cool.

So Violet almost does, miraculously wakes up, sees Xaden by her bed and kisses him, and the only thing Xaden thinks about how lucky he is that he'll get to fuck her again. And they say romance is dead.

No, fuck. I can't stop thinking about this. Fuck the ending. I knew Brennan was alive. I spoiled half the book to myself before I read it. It's fine. But the fact that Xaden is so thirsty for Violet that he only thinks about sex when she wakes up, after she has been unconscious from a life threatening injury, just left me so shocked that I can't get pass it. I can't ignore it. It's just so sickening. I don't know how else to describe it. Almost predatory. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

And I'm done. 2am. I'm shocked with the ending, but not with the part most people were. I can't get over Xaden's reaction to Violet. I simply can't. This book is very horny. I don't particularly care. I don't mind erotic content or erotica in general. They're not always my genre of choice, but I won't stray away from them if I'm interested. And even though I don't read it very often, I do love romance. And I do love fantasy. And I love dragons. This book has been a general disappointment on all these account. And I'm just frustrated because I truly, wholeheartedly did want it to be good and to be interesting. I really believed that it couldn't be that bad. But it is. It really truly is. And it's so sad. And I'm so disappointed...

I really enjoy antagonising big countries. Russia and America are different flavours of asshole. Canada pretends to not be an asshole but is an asshole. China outright ignores people he deems unworthy of talking to him.

There's a dead country realm that I think is super cool and based. When they die they spawn in the city center (which is the entirety of the realm, basically) and however they died affects how they look in the afterlife. Eg. Travunia:

The most noticeable thing is the stitched up wound on his head lol he died by an axe blow to the head. But also peep the earrings. Peep the stitch on the hat. Peep the pattern on his neck piece. It basically affects every part of them. Like he's horrified of axes, SE cannot stand being near bodies of water and his skin colour is fucked up since he drowned, Soviet has a lot of burns, claw marks around his neck, his ribs are exposed due to his skin being fucked up. But he also has cracks all over his skin. He died in an assassination, he was killed by poison gas. But also the natural process of death (dusting) already started for him, which is why there's also cracks.

ulysses dies at dawn. greek myth. the main characters it follows are ulysses, orpheus, oedipus, ariadne, and heracles. it describes the suits attempt at opening ulysses' vault, and ulysses' attempt to drown out their haunting memories of the war.

high noon over camelot. arthurian legends. this one follows arthur, lancelot, guinevere, mordred, gawain, and galahad. it tells of a station, orbiting the sun. unbearable heat, and a space cowboy polycule 👍 it is so much cooler than i just made it out to be. it might be my favorite, though its hard to tell

the bifrost incident. norse myth. this one follows odin, thor, loki, and sigyn, with lyfrassir edda narrating instead of jonny (still played by the same person, though). a train passing through the bifrost, something that lady odin had created to shorten travel time, did not come out the other side for 80 years. lyfrassir edda is tasked with figuring out what happened via the black box. this one is very good

its easier to make sense of songs in the ttbt volumes if you listen to ouat(is) and udad first. there are no extra songs from tbi, and i dont know if there are any from hnoc.
