A homeless boy on the streets of Shibuya - he's simply trying to survive, though his memories seem rather scattered. All he can remember is a bright blue light and his name - he also carries around a key that he has no idea where it is for. In reality, he's an attendant from the Velvet Room that Lavenza managed to expel from the Room before Yaldabaoth took Igor's place, a 'spare key' as such, though the loss of his memories was unexpected.

━━   ❝   𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨?   ❞  It kind of reminded him of himself and his childhood friend, granted they’ve known each other waay before they were middle schoolers, and Yusuke probably had loved her before he understood what the sentiment MEANT. “Ever thought of pursuin’ her ooor do ya both know each other so much now that you’re just comfortable bein’ friends. Cause I gotta tell ya, my childhood friend has an ass on her too. WITH A BIG HEART t’ go with it, honestly wouldn’t know what I would’ve done without her…so naturally I snatched her up.” He reminisced over the memory with tons of fondness.

Then his eyes widens slightly at the mention of a website. If only he was as savvy with technology as he was with his fist. The last time he navigated the internet he’s managed to break down an entire laptop because he actually thought he’d struck gold and won a serious amount of POCKET CHANGE. But from what Ryuji’s showing him it looks like it’s not just big-time criminals were being targetted by the phantom thieves. “Huh, that’s good, it looks like they’re really are in it for the little guys that people LOVE makin’ feel like shit. But you’re definitely right..Kamoshida…well that guy was before I got here. Tch, bastard’s lucky I wasn’t around t’ hear about his bullshit.” There wouldn’t be crimes for the man to confess as Yusuke would have taken the role of protector and crippled the monster himself.

“In that case then ya should, ya got the talent for it. Hell if ya want I can even train ya.” He stood up straight now, tucking both his hands into his pockets. “Though, not on running though martial arts IS ALL ABOUT BALANCE. I can pretty much train your body, Gods know what kinda strain you’d be in at the end of the day. My trainin’ will help brush off that soreness. Cause ya got what it takes, I can see it in your eyes, hell I can hear it in your voice..but it sounds like somethin’ stoppin’ ya.”

“Yeah, she’s a great girl - if you can believe it, we actually go back all the way back to middle school,” Although to call them childhood friends or anything of the like would have been inaccurate. Only recently had he truly gotten to know her and consider her a friend, that was yet another side effect of his double life as a Phantom Thief. Trauma and going through some shit really did bring people closer together - he could attest to that personally himself, feeling tighter than ever with Takamaki and Amamiya. Hearing Yusuke’s laugh, he can’t help but lightly bark out one of his own, knowing how silly must sound - it is silly but until you actually see it, how can you explain it?

“Definitely a mystery however they go about getting people to feel guilty and confess to their crimes,” He couldn’t exactly outright say they beat the snot out of them into confessing, though somehow he had the sense Yusuke wouldn’t disapprove of that. “I guess they must be really thorough - lots of evidence, yeah? Talking to their victims, compiling the evidence,” In some sense, that was exactly what they did - they never tried to target the innocent if they could help it. “Ah, you have seen the Phan-Site?” He hadn’t intended to bring it up on his own but Yusuke’s question had given him the perfect excuse to do so, opening up the app on his phone and holding it out. “It’s like a website where you can talk to ‘em and submit requests anonymously,” He scrolled past some of the more mundane requests - cheating boyfriends, petty arguments between friends until he landed on one - a girl being followed around the school by a guy. That was a request that they had taken note of earlier and were intending to do. “I guess even if someone wasn’t a total ass and wanted their heart changed, they’d consider it,” Definitely was an unusual request all things considered. “And maybe they could all just be in it for the fame, especially since they’ve got a fan site and all,” He taps his chin, Yusuke’s points striking genuine chords within him - still he did what he always did and spoke from the heart. “But I…I think they would still fight for the little guys if they could. I mean they helped get rid of Kamoshida even when there was nothing in it for them, yeah…? I want to believe they just want to help people as best as they can and I think so long as they don’t lose sight of why they started doing this, they’ll be okay.”

They would be okay - he affirmed this to himself with a small nod, what had initially seemed like a casual conversation about the Phantom Thieves had redoubled his motivation and reminded him why he was doing this in the first place. He just couldn’t let go of that. “Y-You think so…?” He blinks, shyly tousling his hair at the unexpected words. “I guess at some point I did want to do this for a living, still do…if I’m being completely honest with you,” He admits, baring a more open and vulnerable side to himself. “This is all I’ve ever wanted to do and no matter what, I want to continue doing it…!”

Noah knew Akira worked hard and his schedule was all over the place with things to do, so even a little time spent together was something she valued. She laughed a little "I mean, anyone would be if they were in my shoes. At the time, I was afraid I looked very stupid being such a fan in front of you." All things considered, she was very mild but still, it was embressing to get caught red handed. She smiled as she glanced at him. "That sounds like a trap question." She teased, knowing he wasn't up to anything. "To be fair, at the time we didn't know much about the phantom thieves. Their were barely any clear images of them and everything was up for speculation. I suppose I didn't have a favorite because I admired all of you. But... nowadays, I'm very fond of the leader." She winked playfully, being coy.

WHACK!!! With the return of a stranger ‘world’ with the touch of an app on his phone Yusuke found himself going toe to toe with these shadows alongside his masked companion. VERSE INFO - GARTH - PERSONA 5

The only son of the Mafia Boss of Yokohama, he's recently moved to Shibuya as a part of his father's dealing with Shido - the Mafia helping him with deals within the underground of the city, and in return spreading their influence across Shibuya and taking part in research involving the Metaverse. This resulted in the forced awakening of Garth's Persona (Alice), and as such, he's sometimes forced into helping taking out target's by attacking their Palaces. He's discovered a way though to trap his victims shadows, rather than destroying them - leading to them falling into comas rather than dying...which isn't ideal but it's the best he could come up with, given the situation he's in. What he didn't know, was this trapping process resulted in fragmentation of his own spirit - allowing him to temporary take control over other personas for a short time, though he has an easier time with those associated with the Death Arcana. The subject of many experiments since childhood - he somewhat resents the Metaverse and wishes to find a way to somehow block it off from being used as the weapon that his father and Shido use it as - but he's way in over his head and has no real idea what he's doing half the time, only knowing what he does from the various experiments he's been placed through. Due to these, he can often lose his train of thought - sometimes just drifting off with a far away look, before he snaps back to reality. He and Alice can also communicate, though Alice is very judgemental of his 'weak spirit' - but jumps in to save him anyways.

The mood might have taken a dive, probably his fault. If anything he wishes that he’s easy to talk about his feelings. It wasn’t as if he was against the concept of ‘guys opening up’, it was mostly because he didn’t know how to. When something or someone enrages him, then he’d know how to react accordingly, whether it be by violence or through vocabulary. Feelings of anger were extremely easy for him to express considering the things he’s been through.

But, feelings beyond that was..well it’s definitely something he needed to work on, however, thankfully Haru shifted the conversation elsewhere. Though one day he will dig deep and figure out just WHY he looks the way he does along with his choice of weaponry within the metaverse, but for now he was more than happy to give her advice. 

“Squats are your friends when it comes to leg strength, I’d argue and say walking up a flight of stairs would be good for you too. Whenever you’re home and if you’ve got some time try to do some squats but be sure the latest you do them is at least two hours before you fall asleep. It’s always best to not to work-out and then stop just before a nap or the sleep for the night.”

As he continues his stretching, swinging to rotating his upperbody horizontally from left to right. “Hmmm that’s a good question..I just figured it looked cool. Though the reason was deeper than that, however it was not something he quite understood himself. He’s always felt the need to protect but he’s always been small. At the time too small to protect his mother from his father (whenever the man would send bad letters during his childhood, hell to small in society’s view to do anything that would end up putting positive changes in his friend’s lives.

So he felt something big like a shotgun would help him compensate for that small feeling. It would make him seem better towards punks that threaten his friends. But of course, right now his heart had been subconsciously closed off to such feelings that he figured it might have been all about aesthetics. “Haha sorry, I wished I really had a better reason like that…I just..don’t know how to put it into words.” 

His arms were crossed over his chest now as he stopped stretching. It was pretty obvious that he really tried to figure out the reason of his shotgun. Hell, even the outfit was something that derived from that feeling of helplessness. Those biker gang delinquents said ‘eff it’ to all the rules and were proud of who they are, Ryuji wanted that mantle of anarchy but for the meek.

“Hm… well, I suppose it’s a good enough reason. It’s okay, the words might come to you, eventually. I was only curious, so please don’t feel pressured to answer.” He looked like he had a deep, personal reason, but she wasn’t one to delve into other’s personal affairs without their permission. Regardless, his shotgun was nice to look at in the Metaverse whenever they fought side by side, if Joker chose her to be on his team.

Not wanting to make him uncomfortable or to think too hard, she decided to move on and continue her own exercises, including her legs as well by lifting one up, although it was quite difficult to maintain her balance. She wasn’t as nimble as him, however, that’s exactly why she admired Ryuji’s vigor and will to keep going strong, not letting anything break his stride.

“Let’s… talk about working out instead, okay? What else can you show me? Is there any way I can make my legs stronger as well, besides jogging?” The more she knew, the better.

He doesn’t like fighting and yet he CAN fight, hmm a pacifist mindset that he’s really not accustomed to but can respect considering he knew in his heart and soul THIS guy was definitely someone that can hold his own in a street brawl and even win. Though at the mention of his ‘vacation’, all Yusuke could do was scoff at the claim. “Vacation, if ya call bounty huntin’ a vacation.” This was something he just blurted out without thinking only because he REALLY wished he was actually ON vacation.

BUT NO, instead he’s in Tokyo assigned to look for students that Koenma suspects of being the phantom thieves. “Either way, what I’d like t’ find is a cheap place t’ stay whilst I’m here. If I’m lucky I’d get a lot of news about the phantom thieves. You’re here I’m sure you’ve heard of ‘em last thing I heard about ‘em was taking out a hacker group. A friggin’ hacker group, these people have style.”

Then he shrugs, reaching into his bag and settling Mona down with a quick press of his palm to the top of his head, eyeing the newcomer warily. When he notices the little creature attached to his suitcase, his eyes narrow behind his glasses. A shadow? Outside of Mementos?

No, that doesn't feel quite right.

He's not stupid enough to ask outright though- especially if the other might not be able to see it. He sighs instead, running a hand through his hair and forcing himself to look more annoyed than he actually feels.

"I don't like fighting people," he says honestly, stepping around a now-unconscious body. He nudges it with the side of his foot to make sure they're still living, just in case, and when he gets a groan in response, pulls away, satisfied. "Why waste all that energy? Easier to let 'em tire themselves out." And dodging people is much easier than dodging Shadows any day of the week. After that, it's a matter of a good right hook or left straight and bam. Out like lights.

Had they been Shadows, of course, he'd have hesitated far less... but fighting normal people now felt unfair.

"...thanks for trying to help though." He half-smiles as he says it, cocking his head and looking at the suitcase once again. "Especially since it looks like you're on vacation."

I feel like I left my wife (persona franchise) for a hotter cooler babe (the silt verses) and now I’m like scurrying back. But that then also feels like cheating…
