This one is my take on this scene from the Clear Day episode.

“You’re going down, Ryan,” James said, toy blaster poised in his hand. Kinkade raised his own at the targets. “Bring it on, Griffin.” The unilu game runner started the competition with a buzzer. James zeroed in on the targets. Among their squad, Kinkade was the best marksman. He wouldn’t be losing this game easily. By some luck when the buzzer sounded again, he had just barely eked past Kinkade’s score, winning the large plushie. Axca, uncertain of what to make of the fabric creature, examined it as James took it to present to Keith. Veronica promised to win her one, drawing a demure smile from the other girl. Curtis led their group to the arm-wrestling arena where they met up with the paladins. James slid the stuffed animal into his boyfriend’s hands. “You are adorable,” Keith remarked as he placed a kiss on James’ cheek.

veronica and axca waking up before the rest of the mcclains and heading down into the kitchen, enjoying their time by themselves just chatting and laughing over small things. then they bring things up a bit and share a sweet kiss, just a simple way to say without words how much they love and care about each other.

unfortunately, during that moment, lance comes up in the entrance of the kitchen, hair a mess, his pajamas all wrinkled and his obnoxious ass just goes "oH, i'm sorry, was i interrupting something?" veronica gives him a "i'm going to kill you," look and snaps something at him in spanish while lance says a sassy comeback, the two going back and forth.

axca is just standing there awkwardly, trying to get veronica to shut up so they can go somewhere private to continue but she's too busy arguing with her annoying younger brother. and keith, who's only half awake and clinging to lance from behind, mumbles "babe, can we go back to bed?" scaring the shit out of veronica and axca cause they didn't even notice he was there.

ICE CREAM DATE; PT2 OF 3

Once Honerva and the remaining, known, hostile commanders were dealt with, many of those who were participating in the efforts of the voltron coalition would return to their former status of a civilian or retirement. Once Axca had returned after Keith’s speech she would return to meet Veronica once again. Resuming and building upon the new friendship.

Eventually things took a turn, Veronica purposing a date to the ex-Galra general. Which Axca would finally return to a new rebuilt earth and explore it’s slowly returning normality. Exploring its interesting activities and foods.

The two took, again, WAY TO LONG. But here the gals are in their glory. Previous weeks were busy but here they are. Axca will be a jacket wearer and definitely ice cream bar woman. Veronica is just telling her about plants.

so i saw anonaeonn, klance-daydreams, vldlance, and veraxca drawing them in the rain and i hadnt drawn these two in a while and needed something to break my art block so thought i'd join in as well.

toxic fact abt me is I watch episodes of season 7-8 that fuel my brain for Reasons bc I like to imagine: what if it was good? anyway s8e5 has awesome veraxca content . it’s Veronica going “hey girl <3 wjats your favorite color?” and Acxa going “as a solider of the galra empire I never had time to enjoy colors, my focus solely being on following the command of Lotor as we conquered the universe - preference alluded me in my quest to fulfill my duties as a general” and this is Acxa thinking she’s doing a good job bonding with humans . godddd those scenes are so excellent

Wait this literally rocks. I want Acxa to casually say the most deranged and out of pocket shit only for Veronica to just twirl her hair around her finger and say “haha and then what? ☺️” (Veronica is carefully cataloging every single thing Acxa shares and is already envisioning a future together where they adopt chickens and Acxa gets therapy by proxy through raising the chickens)

Keith/Acxa is such an intresting dynamic because on one hand, they're extremely skilled warriors,,, but on the other,,, they're absolute idiots. Social skills? non-existant. Critical thinking? we don't know her. Peak mlm/wlw solidarity

can we talk about the fact that axca may have just found in keith the biggest goal she ever wanted to find.

hear me out, axca is a good fighter, she’s a soldier right, she follows rules. but she also believes in things. and she tries to do her best, she wants to be someone fair and who act on what they believe.

except her race dominated half the universe and killed and destroyed so many civilisations. it’s been billion years they’re doing that, how could they change now ? how could her change things ? she cant. no galra can, even the modern Lotor is corrupted and assert his dominance using violence. (and should i remind the galra motto “victory or death”, there is no in between, the galra can only be evil or weak) how can she believe in change.

but here comes our boy, half galra, great fighter, proud defender of the universe, ready to end it with the galra supremacy. when she mets him, she became obsessed, that man is crazy, he’s a new wave, a new spirit. keith is hope. hope that galra can be good and act on it. hope that galra can be strong and nondestructive people. axca sees that, she sees him and she starts to believe again. to hope again. she can still change. she can still become a greater person and save people.

axca is a soldier. she is smart, she’s fighting a war, she’s graded. she did not betray Lotor and the galra because she has a crush on keith. but because he’s a symbol. he’s the one she was waiting to meet. she wants to be like him, to be more. keith is axca biggest ally.

that was never about love, it was hopes and dreams from the beginning.

i can see so much potential on axca redemption and history and honestly i’m so pissed off to the voltron writers to heterowashed her and make her become a softy romantic.
