this is a canon divergent blog for fern from the adventure time franchise (weird i can call it that now), that sorta takes place between the base series and the events of fionna and cake. fern's soul is tied to a willow tree in the grasslands as planted in cawm, but also, he's able to make a lil grass him and walk around and do stuff thanks to huntress wizard and marceline's assistance. cool!

The mental health subreddits were carefully modded so that people were lifting each other up and giving each other advice and sharing memes and the community was so much better

Yeah there were shitty and darker subs but even those had lines because they were run by humans

Hi Hello There

so uh. I got a ton of followers the last couple of days so hi and welcome! it’s time for another intro post

I go by Bisho (remnants of an ancient URL from forever ago, short for Bishoujo), alternatively starting to go by Aurora now. I’m a 30mumble years old Black bi poly femme creeping toward eldergoth-hood and in theory this is a multifandom blog mostly about video games but that really just means FFXIV with sprinklings of whatever. I don’t do sideblogs because I can’t keep track of them so. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Sometimes you will see random ADHD blogging (I has it), Disney theme park stuff (I’m a WDW AP despite being a New Yorker and it’s a special interest) and talk about witchcraft and Hellenic Polytheism since I’ve been practicing more than 20 years.

my ffxiv content is mostly flailing about my WoL, fanfics, and shitposting. I am a lifelong hardcore Final Fantasy fangirl who honest to dog grew up with the series from the start. I did play XI for a while with my gf at the time but really hated it and it put me off so badly that when XIV came out I had no interest in it, especially when I heard about how Bad it was. I only picked it up a couple of years ago on PS4 during Stormblood, around 4.0/4.1? I played FF Record Keeper on mobile and got a whole bunch of Alphinaud’s gear and wanted to learn about them. Now I’m just sorry I didn’t start playing sooner, lol. (It finally got me to kill the WoW sub I’d hung onto for years despite not really playing anymore)

I literally only got the Windows version of the game to Bootcamp on my Mac about a month ago to play with mods and gpose and whatnot so I am still very very new to the art of fancy screenshotting and still learning. 2 hot 4 tumblr pics go up on twitter where i am queensurana (fair warning I literally made it as a dumping ground for PS4 screenshots so there isn’t much there yet). But I am primarily a fic writer. I don’t RP for various personal reasons (mostly to do with WoW’s awful community) but 100% support those who do.

My WoL has a big ol master post that I’m still working on (really just to add links) but the tl;dr is that Gisele is a canon immigrant from Dr*gon Age: Origins, in this timeline she did not do the Dark Ritual with Morrigan and so died when she killed Urthemiel at the end, but then ended up in Eorzea. Shenanigans of various sorts ensued. Kylenne is my AO3 pseud if you’re interested in that. Most of what you’ll see on there is B*oware content because I was heavily involved in DA and ME for years here (the former I dipped from with extreme prejudice) and the odd Warcrack stuff. But more and more XIV is on there now and I plan to post more in the future. Shorter fics and prompt fills tend to be posted here.

“fandom fuckery” is the tag you want to block if you don’t want venting, I try to tag for negativity and whatnot. I get it, sometimes I can’t deal with yelling either. in general I try to be generous and judicious with tagging but if you need something tagged that isn’t, feel free to drop me an ask. In general don’t be scared or shy to interact with me or my content, I am honestly looking for more xiv friends which is admittedly a bit rough as someone who just writes fics and doesn’t RP.
