another venomshank request yippee, this will likely be rather short we shall see, OH YEAH, my last one is now outdated due to us now knowing that to fly bro just uses his bird but oh well, ignore that lmao

- The first time you met the deity of decay (hc) was a terrifying moment, you thought you were about to die, after all you had heard the tales of his feral nature, so when you came across him without his mask and green dripping form his mouth you figured you were done for, you’d become a zombie and your life was over

- So when after being bitten nothing happened, you both stared at your arm, that he was still bitten into mind you, for a solid minute straight, it was so shocking that it somehow snapped him out of his feral period at it, he’d never encountered anyone immune to his bite, barring his siblings, he was so confused in fact he let go and bit you again, he hates when he turns people but he just had to make sure he was understanding what was going on

- Once he let go the second time he seemed to sober up fully, whistling and an oddly large bird flying in carrying his mask, he slipped it back on before apologizing to you for biting you, all that combined probably made for the most confusing 2 minutes of your life all things considered

- That led to him wanting to talk to you, he asked you many many questions first revolving around the bite but they then morphed into just questions about yourself instead, he found you fascinating, and not just the being immune to him thing, just in general, he’s met thousands of inphernals before but you were something special, in his eyes at least, and well one conversation one day led to a different another, and next thing you know you’re in a relationship with the deity you thought was about to kill you (if this is bad sue me i’m tired and trying my best)

- As opposed to other mortals Venomshank’s known, you’re the one he’s not had to worry about his greatest fear, he loves his son, and he tells you it very often, but he has a nagging deep dark fear that one day he won’t have his mask on around him and he will loose him, but with you, that isn’t a problem, for once he can have his mask off around a mortal without fear of turning them to an undead creature, it’s a breath of fresh air for him, literally

- Because of this he also feels comfortable enough to jokingly give you little love nibbles, since he knows they can’t hurt you, we’ll turn you into a zombie, they can still hurt if he bites too hard, but it’s nice in his opinion, even if you swat him away because it tickles after a minute or two

- He is far more comfortable kissing you as well, since he knows with his oddly shaped mouth the threat of kissing someone and accidentally grazing them with his canine is a possibility he’s also relieved he can kiss you as much as he wants and it won’t be an issue, you’d think for a centuries old deity he’d be more demure when it comes to affection but he does not care in the slightest, he will be kissing you any opportunity he gets, even if your busy, have your hands full, are asleep, he’s kissing your forehead, hands, neck, lips, cheeks, it’s just such a new experience to him, and he adores it, almost as much as he adores you yourself

- Being the only inphernal to ever taste his feral… saliva? And live to recount it means you’re the only person to ever walk the inphinity and know what it tastes like, the texture is like acid but since you’re immune it almost dulls down into the equivalent of drinking a monster, carbonated and kinda like battery acid, it’s an interesting taste that’s for sure

yup midnight has passed, i’ll update the thing then work on my final request, which will definitely be the longest since it’s uh general x reader hcs… actually on second thought ill work on it in the morning, im tired and have a few things to do tomorrow and i can just add it to the cue after i finish, yeah that’ll work, let me just get everything else ready and then ill go to bed

icedagger my baby boy… I feel he’s kind of a mix of venomshank and ghostwalker like he smells like sugar spice all things nice when he is hygienic but sometimes forgets to be clean for like two or three days. his skin is probably super soft and cuddly like I just want to hug and squeeze my boy

"Are you sure this is okay, Honey?" You questioned your husband, who has been hiding you from his son for the past years. You had never revealed yourself to Sword, who was concerned for his father's strange antics lately.

"I'm sure, my welt, that there is nothing to be worried about. He is quite accepting, especially since he dates that rocket-boy..." Venomshank mentioned, busy waiting away outside of Thieves' Den motorway bus-stop. You, right beside him, holding hands with a specialized glove.

Windforce had gifted it to you, especially since she is very familial motivated, similar to the many gods you studied in Thieves' Den. You stared at your husband, who was trying his best to stay undercover. You never see a deity out in the blue randomly, as for they rest above.

"Well, I just hope he doesn't mind that you've hid me for these past few years." Being undercover wasn't something you were too proud of, but anything to stay away from people that might be hunting down Venomshank himself for certain answers or to thieve.

"I promise you, I'm sure he'd understand the reasoning behind it. I care for your safety, my love, you are my life's proudest accomplishments," He preached with a slight huff underneath the mask. You shook your head, laughing. "Mmm, your proudest accomplishments, ey?"

"Do not start." You lifted a finger and giggled, shaking your head as the sound of the bus arriving soon came along. You, Venomshank, and a few other standbyers' entered the bus. Swiping your bus-card twice to pay for Venomshank, you both comfortably sat down and drove on the high-way. It was about an hours worth of a drive, so it was worth the trip. The ocean and the forestry was a cleanser for the amount of stuff you slightly went through for the past few years.

"Admiring every small spec of natures grateful gleam, I see?" Venomshank muttered. He was staring at the same things just the same, but it didn't seem to bitter any sense of correlation to you. "Yes, of course. They remind me of you, my dear," You lightly shuffled, humming as your hand held onto his slightly tougher. He had to avoid doing so many things with you, it was upsetting.

He dealt with many things in his life, but being unable to touch his partner was one of the worst things and progressively affecting him in such many ways. But, not enough for him to even replace you. He'd never do that.

"We're gonna be here for long, how about we rest?" "That sounds like a great idea, my darling."

"Dad?" I looked at my father who had just come home. It was silent, other then the sound of the kettle playing and the television playing slight muffled sounds of a movie. It intrigued me, but something didn't feel all too right.

"Is someone here?" I peeped, only to spot dad messing around on the stove, a wooden spoon in one hand, a recipe book in the other. He was adorned in all of it's glory, with a 'Kiss The Chief' apron.

"Ah, good-afternoon Son. How was the match today? Did you win? How was your friends?" My father was always the type to question me with only more. I laughed, shaking my head as I hooked up my bag, "Eh. Didn't really matter this time, it felt boring at most," plucking off my shoes and packing my sword safely away - "But, it didn't change the fact I beat Ban Hammers ass!"

My father laughed, shaking his head. The sound of the muffled grumble. He knew Windforce was gonna rant about his son later in those meetings. "How come your cooking, old man?" I questioned.

"Well, we have a special guest over who is currently getting ready to come downstairs," A guest? Oh? It caught my interest! Maybe it's one of dads friends, or maybe it's my non-related-brother Meds!

I shook my head, sighing. "Well, can't be that much of an important guest that has got you cookin'? Who must it be-"

"Honey! I've finished getting ready, is your son nearly here? I'm a bit nervous to say the least, what if I look like an old grandma to him?" A voice broke through the air, as I stared at the now person, coated with a sense of fashion that could speak millions of languages to me. I was coaxed.

"Ah." I gulped. Throat dry.

"Dad.. Dad, who is that?" I asked, looking up at him. He turned as I could hear that smile across his face as he approached the person that had just entered the room. "Well, my son,"

VENOMSHANK:

You were Swords friend, and he met you through Sword.

He thought you were interesting. Your face, your voice, how scared you were of him…

He loved to watch you. Seeing you feel paranoid, seeing you at your top alert.

He loved talking to you too, but getting you to stay was hard. You always had to suddenly go somewhere.

After a while he started to physically follow you around. He then realized that you were suddenly going because:

You were scared.. and.. you were seeing someone.

He was NOT pleased with this information.

He tries to get the person away from you, due to the fact he's more of a manipulator, making people stay away from you and making you stay away from people. He'll even try threatening them.

If they end up not getting away from you though, Venomshank will either kill them, or turn them into a zombie.

After that, you would obviously be worried. Venomshank would comfort you, of course not telling you what he did. He doesn't want you to hate him!

If you didn't stop being worried, or get suspicious of Venomshank, he would just take you! And no running this time!

DARKHEART:

He met you while you were exploring crossroads, and he thought you seemed… sweet. Such a kind, beautiful, individual.

He was nice to you, and offered to be friends, so you guys hung out more! He loved your company.

Overtime, he got a little obsessive. Somehow always appearing when you were around others, always taking you away from them, saying "we need to show you something" or "come with us".

He tries to keep you entertained, interested in him, but it was hard at points.

If you tried to leave him, he would just make sure you didn't! It's not that hard. 

ILLUMINA:

He saw you at crossroads, and took interest in you. Such a pretty face!

At first, he was sure his feelings would pass, but they didn’t. They got stronger.

He tries to get to know you, but him being a deity, and you being a mortal, of course you were a little scared.

He didn't realize he was in love until he saw someone with you, a mortal, not even a phighter! 

Like Venomshank, he usually starts with manipulation to keep you away from people.

But if they ended up not staying away from you, he started getting upset. You were a mortal, why didn't you want to hang out with him, but instead hang out with other MORTALS?! Weak ones at that!

As soon as he saw you and your "friend" again, he would take you, and kill your friend. 

If you tried running from him, well, that wouldn't turn out well for you, would it, dearie?

Of course, he kept you well fed, taken care of, entertained. But you never seemed happy. To be honest, he didn't really care if you were happy, you were staying whether you like it or not.

FIREBRAND:

You met him through working and being friends with Valk and Dom, and he thought you were so kind, so thoughtful! 

He decided to try to get to know you more. 

Over time you guys became friends, and it was going okay until he started noticing you hung out with some… not great people, in his eyes at least. They would hurt you! Kill you even!

Of course he always tried to get you away from them, but if you resisted, he would just force you to come with him. He doesn't want you to get hurt, after all!

After your relationship got a little.. bumpy, and you tried to leave he would just lock you up. You can't leave him! It's not safe! He loves you!

WINDFORCE:

She met you through you being a prisoner at Banland. She noticed you didn't do much, just steal from a store. You needed food.

She didn't feel bad for you, but she did notice you were quite an interesting and a pretty little mortal.

Sometimes she would watch you, after a while of just watching you, she told Banhammer to bring you to her.

Once you get to her, she locks you in one of her many rooms.

If anyone tries to get you out or steal you from her, she WILL result to murder, almost immediately.

Also, if you try running from her, she will knock you out, it's not too hard to. You're weak, compared to her, of course!

She tries to get to know you but her aggressive and upfront nature scares you a little.

She never really admitted to loving you, but she definitely loved to be close to you.

If you EVER talk about having a partner already, they'll be dead in a matter of hours. You're hers now! 

GHOSTWALKER:

You accidentally ran into him once, and holy cow, were you something. He wasn't sure if it was your personality, your looks, maybe it was everything.

Since he can't feel regular emotions, he feels fairly confused in his own way. What is this? Why are you doing this to him?!

He decided to start stalking you after that, watching you, seeing if you casted a spell on him or something! He asked Illumina what was happening, asking for answers.

Of course Illumina said something surprising.

"You're in love. I don't know how but.. you're in love." Illumina laughed.

After a while of him just following you, he decided to take you, at least for a little.

Of course when you woke up, you were confused and scared. He promised he wasn't going to hurt you, he just wanted to keep you.

He kept you well fed and tried to keep you happy, but you never seemed to be happy. 

Sometimes he took you out with him, making sure you wouldn't run away though. Always holding your hand and making sure you were close.

After a while, he decided you weren't going anywhere, you're his now, permanently.

ICEDAGGER (platonic):

After watching a few Phighting matches from a distance, he couldn't help but notice you each time. You looked so nice, so friendly!

He overcame his anxiety when he saw you in crossroads once, and introduced himself. 

After becoming friends he started getting a little.. jealous.. when he saw you with other people.

Why wouldn't you hang out with him instead! He was more powerful than everyone else! 

He continued to get more jealous but, he never kidnapped you, or killed anyone, just got incredibly clingy.

Yes, before you make fun of me I am a A03 reader. I read Phighting fics. Every AU besides one of my personal favorites “Equalibrium” I think that’s how it’s spelt? Well Illumina is like- the good guy in this AU. Darkheart is the bad guy. It was a good change of pace for me to see a good Illumina. This fix also inspired my Venomshank account.

Venomshank and child zombie Reader

ughhhh headache, but me and my sister are watching the season two finale of toh, it’s my fav show it’s her first time watching it, the collector is my favorite character, they’ve been my pfp on my main since king’s tide aired

- Venomshank can’t recall every person he’s turned, when he goes feral he cant recall those times and if he doesn’t have his mask on it leads to him later discovering a good amount of new zombies, so when he starts finding new zombies recently he doesn’t think much of it, he does feel bad for basically killing innocent demons but he is still a deity so he doesn’t truly feed that bad

- That changes though when he finds one zombie, cowering behind something watching him, eyes scared but also not quite understanding what’s happening to them, it was you, he knelt down to you and took of his mask to try and appear less scary

- He could tell you weren’t fully turned but turned enough, some of his zombies were brainless husks but on rare occasion the bite doesn’t work correctly and leaves them half themself half zombie, so he tries to gently explain to you what happened, you got infected by something and now you’re partially a zombie, your reaction is either scared and terrified or maybe a bit excited because zombies are cool

- He tells you that he can bring you to your parents if you have any, you say you don’t so he asks if you’d like to accompany him, internally he’s trying to make up for the fact that he bit a child, not really having anywhere else to go you agree, maybe he’s also filling a bit of a hole, he does miss when Sword was a kid

- Venomshank treats you incredibly kindly and gently, he does everything he can to stop the turning so you stay at the amount you are, he can’t cure you but he can stop you from turning further, he also figures out exactly what inside you turned, what organs no longer work, he finds you no longer breath but to some degree your heart still beats, it’s odd

- He cooks you food rich in vitamins and such especially vitamin D since you can no longer go in the sun, hope you like oranges! His cooking is actually really good, if not a little strange, but not bad since he’s already raised one mortal child he knows what they eat now

- Speaking of you get all of Sword’s hand me downs, clothes and toys, his old room, he of course also gets you new things as well, most of Sword’s stuff was donated anyways, but he also gets you teething toys, the zombie part of your brain really wants to bite any and everything so having teething toys instead of gnawing of furniture is good, if you bite him he doesn’t mind he laughs about it and takes a fake snap at you, you giggle and he makes sure to never actually bite you, worried it would finish the turning process

- Sword first meets you around three weeks later, he’s gotten very curious as to why his dad’s been in the mortal world so much recently so when he stops by his home to check in with his dad he sees you hiding behind the couch, at first he’s confused till he notices your rotted skin and understands, he also takes pity on you, slowly as Sword visits more, especially to take care of you when his dad can’t, you get closer, he basically becomes an older brother to you, which he sort of is since his dad is sort of acting as a dad to you

- Venomshank feels guilty a lot, he wishes he never would have gone feral without his mask and turned you, he feels like he ruined an innocent child’s life, you’ll never grow up and you’re not fully yourself anymore, when he thinks your not looking he throws pained glances your way because he wishes he could have done something more to help you, he doesn’t regret meeting you but he wishes he never had to

- Sometimes he has to go away for days at a time, maybe two weeks if he’s unlucky, he insures you have more then enough food and such and makes you promise to be careful, you always do, even pinky swearing to top it off, sometimes Sword will take care of you but for the most part you can take care of yourself, you usually just sleep a lot, or zone out, since you turned you do that a lot, sometimes you’ll zone back in to realize you were just standing in the kitchen for 7 hours straight, you just eat like 13 oreos, have some water, and go to bed

- Speaking of bed your sleep schedule doesn’t exist, sometimes you sleep for 2 days straight, which sort of terrifies him, sometimes you sleep through the day and are up at night, other times you have a regular routine of sleeping at night, you also take a lot of naps, you have less energy as a zombie and you also get bored a lot, he plays with you and does things with you to keep you busy which you appreciate greatly because it beats sleeping all day, though sleeping is nice, so is biting, biting galore

- The other swords do not know of your existence, he fears them seeing you as too weak or a waste of time so he keeps you secret, maybe Darkheart knows of you but the others just think he’s spending more time training his mentee, when in reality he’s caring for an eternally child demon, he knows eventually he’ll have to say goodbye, in one way or another you will finally pass on, but for the time being he has you and he can care for you, protect you when he couldn’t before, it’s bittersweet but he knows he just has to cherish the time he does have with you

ugh my fucking head help my headache is so bad ughhh, maybe i should put on my old glasses till i go to bed, i just need to figure out where they are, anyways hope yall enjoyed thanks for reading!

ok i actually asked katz-ke for help on this one because like the last one i had no ideas sorry requester, however they helped and gave me some good ideas that definitely gave me more motivation and ideas for this one in general, so thanks again katz!!! you’re amazing i adore your stuff id anyone here doesn’t know who they are go check them out, anyways onto the hcs

- How did you end up here? No genuinely you went from a pet to a deity to instead dating said deity, you’re out here living some simps dream

- You’ve always had an unusual power, hybrids weren’t rare, winged hybrids were on the rarer side, usually only stemming from receiving a blessing from one of the deities, but you were, and on top of being an avian you also could transform into an actual hawk, which was basically unheard of, you also had a rather unique coloration when in bird form, darker then your average hawk with an interesting pattern on your wings

- Which is how you ended up one day in your hawk form, chilling and enjoying being a bird, what? It’s nice to escape the responsibilities of adult life for a little while and you can eat bread a shit, you were chilling when suddenly another bird flew up next to you, at first you thought it was a crow but that didn’t seem right, a raven? No it wasn’t that either, it seemed an odd mix of both corvids but larger and, almost a dark green rather then black, but living in Crossroads you see odd shit a lot so you didn’t dwell on it

- Well that bird seemed to want you to follow it a few minutes later and it lead you to a dropped container of fries, aka the jackpot, you happily started eating them but noticed the other bird wasn’t doing anything, you shrugged it off, probably just already ate its fill and was letting you have yours, after eating you did some sort of appreciative dance, you weren’t fluent in bird language let alone weird corvid language so you hoped it conveyed your thankfulness, you were about to fly off when suddenly the bird changed into a demon, no that’s not it, into one of the Swords

- Holy shit, was all you could think as he scooped you up and started flying away with you but now in his demonoid form, alright this was happening, you must have intrigued him as a bird if he was taking you somewhere, you just let it happen and pretended to still be a regular old bird, maybe if you seemed normal he’d get bored and let you go

- Nope you were now in his temple in a, rather fancy, bird cage, this was not on your weekend itinerary, for a few days it went that he or one of his temple workers would feed you and give you toys and enrichment, you could sort of fly around the cage but it wasn’t big enough to transform back and therefore display you were not a bird, least Venomshank seemed kind enough

- After a few days stuck inside the cage he appeared and said, basically talking to himself, that he should let you out for a good fly, the second he took you out of that cage you transformed back into your demon form with an almost traumatized look on your face as you turned to look at him and his horrified expression, after a conversation he was apologetic about taking you as a pet since he didn’t really you were a demon not an actual bird, you said it was fine but gods you missed having arms

- From there you agreed to live at his temple, you had nowhere better to live and he was offering a free room in exchange for taking care of the birds that resided in the gardens surrounding it, this was one of his smaller temples but it was surrounded by gardens and therefore lots of birds, he’d stop by and check in with you and the rest of the happenings every once in a while, he slowly started to check in more and more until one day suddenly you were dating, you weren’t complaining you just weren’t fully sure how you got there honestly

- Oh my gods you never knew the wonder of preening, you’d never gotten close enough to another demon to preen your wings when in demon form, and definitely not close enough to a bird to preen you in bird form, however now that you had someone who had wings in demonoid form and could also become a bird, he knew exactly how to preen you in both forms and it was heaven, you of course preened him back which he was thankful for, with not seeing Sword as much as when he was a kid he didn’t get a chance to be preened as often so he was so thankful to have someone to help him preen again

- Maybe you didn’t quite have the corvid bird brain of gifting shiny things but you still did have a slight bird brain to the point that you did enjoy collecting and gifting small trinkets and sparklies, and Venomshank being some weird version of a corvid had that instinct but stronger, so you both end up gifting each other small things you find, especially when you go flying together in bird form, which is basically your go-to date, if either of you notice something interesting while flying you’ll dive down and grab it, give it to the other who turns demonoid for a moment to put it in their pocket then back to bird form, luckily the items don’t disappear neither of you know where any of your stuff like clothes or items go when you go bird form but you mutually agreed not to question it

- With the flying dates you also enjoy flying through one of the regions or preferably Crossroads and finding the tallest building around and flying onto the roof to look at all the beautiful lights at night, maybe you’ll switch back to demonoid form but sometimes you prefer to stay as birds where everything looks so much brighter and shinier to your bird eyes, its beautiful and it’s nice knowing that you two are maybe the only two people to ever see the views with a demon brain but bird eyes

- With living in his temple you went from a regular room to the best room in the temple, technically speaking it’s supposed to be his room but before you he almost never spent enough time in that temple to need to use the room, so it became yours and his, which does mean it’s full of a few of his things, which with your slight bird brain only means one thing, nesting, on the floor you set up a nest big enough for both of you to fit in full of pillows, blankets, clothes, and some of the items you gifted each other, and on the desk and actual bird nest, slightly comfier, still sized to fit both of you but this time in bird form, it’s less used but still nice to have

- Since he’s well, Venomshank one of the swords he has to leave for occasionally weeks at a time, which makes you more thankful for the nest to have something with his scent and feathers in for when your missing him, once he returns from his duties you’ll be in that nest for at least the next two days together, not that you mind but if anyone walks into the room they’ll see a mess of feathers and the occasional body parts making so many freaking cooing sounds

- Speaking of cooing sounds both of you make bird noises in and out of bird form, it’s more common in bird form but it’s still not uncommon to coo or squawk in demonoid form, you coo and trill with each other, make squawks and chirps, sometimes it sounds like a gods damn bird sanctuary when you’re both around, you also can sort of communicate with the bird noises which is nice as well

- He gives you a necklace or earring, with just one of his feathers, it takes you a moment to realize it’s his shiniest best feather, not quite a proposal but more of a promise ring, you wear it with pride and do the same finding your best feather to give him in exchange, he puts it in his hat and somehow when in bird form you now both have a feather, not attached to you but buried into your feathers so it doesn’t fall out, of each other’s, he has one of your hawk feathers and you have one of his… corvid feathers, neither of you understand the logistics of how that works but again you have up questioning it

Venomshank x Reader helping to raise Sword

hehehehe, im doing a request for katz-ke ehehhehehe, you don’t know how i screamed at my friend over discord when you liked my art and then how i had to contain my crazed giggles while making myself dinner, anyways into the actual stuff

- You never thought you’d have a kid, you sure as hell didn’t wanna give up year gear and you weren’t so sure on adoption, but now raising a baby with a literal deity, it doesn’t seem so bad

- You had come to meet Venomshank very soon after he took in Sword, you got along well and when you met Sword for the first time you thought he was just the cutest thing, one thing led to another and now you his partner, living with him and helping in the care of his adoptive son

- Sword could be a handful, sometimes, making a mess with his food, being fussy about naps, but it was all worth it to help out the one you loved, every time you took over Sword’s care so he could get some rest he peppered your face with kisses before putting his mask back on, unfortunately due to Venomshank’s godly duties there were times that you had to take care of Sword for a few days by yourself, but whenever he returned he thanked you so profusely and kissed you till you were giggling, he took over taking care of his son letting you get some well needed rest

- He preferred to have his mask off so he could kiss you and little Sword easier but he was afraid of going feral when it was off, you did your best to reassure him but he was still uneasy about having it off for too long, you understood why he was so cautious, one time where it happens without his mask on and he runs the risk of loosing you and his son, so you never asked him to keep it off when he was worried

- As Sword grew older Venomshank definitely took over more of the care of him, preparing him to be his apprentice and mentee, though for the time he was just a small kid with too much energy and one tired mortal parent, you did have to explain a few mortal things to Venomshank, since he is the deity to spend the most time around demons he knows the most about them but there was still a few things you had to educate him on, especially in raising a child

- Even if Sword could be quite the handful sometimes, it was all worth it for the soft moments, your favorite memory of the three of you was Sword babbling on about stuff when he asked you to dance with him, you did the typical dancing with a small child thing where you softly grabbed his hands and rocked up and down, then Venomshank found you two and laughed at the interaction before asking you if you’d like to dance, even with no music you had a sweet and tender time dancing around holding each other close, Sword then bumped in saying he wanted to dance too so you all three held hands in a silly manor bouncing about, it was such a domestic and wholesome moment that you cherished heavily

- As Sword began his training you mainly just took care of his food and hygiene, making the both of them a nice meal to return to after they finished, Sword was still young but old enough to at least begin learning how to wield his blade he was named after, on rare occasion Sword would get injured, maybe a scrape or small cut but you being the more gentle and softer of the two Venomshank would let you handle it cooing quietly at the boy as you cleaned it up telling him he was so brave for it, Venomshank appreciated it greatly, since he didn’t have an amazing grasp on the severity of injuries he worried he’d over react and possibly scare Sword, something he absolutely never wanted to do

- Throughout everything Venomshank had remained as loving and sweet to you as the day you got together, you couldn’t help but feel yourself fall more in love with him as time went on, he was everything you could have asked for, sure Sword was not part of your original plan but you wouldn’t trade any of it for the world

phighting x reader christmas special

sup im in Honduras right now, so ill work on this intermittently, it’ll be… something i need to decide im thinking what each phighter’s christmas activities are and what they get you, yeah that’ll work, it’ll be in menu order btw

Sword:

He spends Christmas with his dad, and you’re invited! Venomshank has been alive a while but having a son to celebrate a holiday with is a new exciting experience to him, they have a lot of traditions surrounding it. Including having dinner together the night before, then Venomshank has to put out the presents at EXACTLY 11:59 because at EXACTLY midnight Sword come barreling towards the tree, it’s funny to witness, and definitely stems from when Sword was a kid. During the day itself after presents him and his dad cook an amazing breakfast together, they would probably ask what you want because they both cook each other their favorites and want to include you since you’re part of the family now.

I think Sword would definitely go with something super personalized, something that reminded him of you in some way. Or alternatively he’d also get you something rather cheesy and overly couple-y like matching sweaters that say something super over the top. He’s very sweet and loving about it and views Christmas as a family thing and you’re part of his family now!

Skateboard:

I imagine in Playground Christmas is more of a friends thing then family thing, so Skateboard hosts a big party with his friends and you! There is a lot of food and more drinks, it’s not like a crazy high energy party buts it’s also not a dinner party, he does his best to stay by your side since you’re his lover but he keeps getting distracted and running off to a friend calling him over or doing something crazy. But he reminds you how much he loves you and that he’s glad to be spending Christmas with you!

For gifts I think he’d get you something silly and fun, that makes you laugh and groan lightheartedly. I also think he’d get you your own skateboard or even maybe roller skates/blades so you can go skating around with him, he’s bashful about it saying it was just something random and you don’t have to or whatever- then one of his friends would put a mistletoe above you both with an eye roll and he’d blush but it’s a sweet and tender kiss.

Biograft:

Bro has the dictionary definition of Christmas and that’s it, so you have to teach him a lot about it. It starts to understand, not fully but he’s getting there. Its favorite part is all the lights, he thinks they’re really pretty. Since it doesn’t exactly have its own Christmas traditions he just participates in whatever you do. It might be tad awkward if it’s his first time meeting people who don’t understand it’s sentient so you might have to explain it a couple times. He mostly sits in the corner observing, or following you around like a fucking since it doesn’t understand just yet but you do so it’s the logical conclusion.

He gets you a gift late, it doesn’t realize he was supposed to get you something but then when it does he figures the logical conclusion would be to get it after Christmas because it would be cheaper anyways. I think he’d get you some sort of technology, maybe a new computer or handheld gaming console that it specifically modified to be linked to him so it can chat with you on it even if he isn’t nearby, and would make sure it’s your favorite colors.

Katana:

He’s sort of, withdrawn from Christmas, if it was his choice he’d stay home and treat it as any other day but with cafe trio and you, his plans have been foiled. Cafe trio invite you both to their apartment to spend Christmas with them. If you’re tempted to say no just remember Slingshot owns a bakery and baked so many different Christmas pastries for the event. You and Katana stay together the whole time but it’s still nice, the food is delicious and it smells AMAZING in that apartment. Katana doesn’t have great memories of Christmas due to his past but he’s willing to make new ones with you.

I think he’d get you a really nice (rather expensive) china set. And his favorite rare teas to go with it. When I say really nice set, I mean REALLY nice, probably one of a kind. He insists you do not need to get him anything but won’t fight if you want to get him something, he thanks you really sweetly and after you leave cafe trios place gives you a super sweet kiss where he can comfortably lift up his mask.

Ban Hammer:

Similar to Sword he spends Christmas with his momma, and again you are invited to join them! Their Christmas is a lot more chaotic, full of rough housing and the servants very nervously cooking a LOT of food. They eat a lot on Christmas and play fight even more, but there’s a lot of laughter and love in the house so all is well. Even if Windforce isn’t as affectionate towards you she snickers and pushes you against her son, maybe a little too hard but he catches you and his eyes are shining as he looks at you. (Pet peeve of mine he ONLY wears his blindfold during phights to challenge himself, STOP GIVING IT HIM WHEN HE ISNT SUPPOSED TO BE WEARING IT.)

As a gift he gets you front row tickets to your favorite band, and takes you out to a REALLY nice dinner, I’m talking probably a three month wait list. He also jokes that his gift is ‘his presence’ you jokingly smack some sense into him as he chuckles. Whatever you get him if it’s something he can he displays on his desk in his office, if not he gets a really good photo of you two and put that on his desk instead. It’s really sweet and probably lit up with candles behind you under the stars.

Rocket:

Again he goes to his dad’s house for Christmas, however he doesn’t spend Christmas eve night there, you and him just head over there in the morning. Zuka isn’t a great cook, Rocket’s even worse, so you settle for some basic pancakes with maybe chocolate chips if you’re feeling fancy. Then they do gifts after breakfast, they never make a big deal about it, Zuka grew up a soldier so not much time for festivities and Rocket was a street kid, so also not much time for festivities. So they don’t do too much, just enough that it feels like a special nice day but it’s not over the top. They think of it as just a nice day to relax and spend together and with you now, Zuka approves of you since you make Rocket happy so he gets you a little something, probably just some bux honestly.

Rocket gets you a big ass plushie, I imagine he has a lot of his own so he gets you one he thinks you’ll like, of some animal you like but huge, perfectly shaped for cuddling. He’d also get you a custom candle, colored and scented to your favorites with some stupid name that’s some sort of inside joke between you two. He also gives you a handmade coupon for a kiss, it’s so cheesy and honestly embarrassing that it’s cute, he’s a dork but he’s your dork.

Slingshot:

As mentioned him and the siblings host a small get together at their apartment, you and Katana are invited, he doesn’t go so it’s just you four. He asks you to come over the day before to help, or at least offer emotional support, as he bakes a lot of stuff for the next day. Gingerbread and other holiday treats galore. He asks what your favorite cookies are, if he doesn’t already know, and bakes a batch of those as well. If you don’t have any baking skills you just sit on a part of unused counter and maybe occasionally stir something for him. If you can bake you divvy up the work 50/50 and get to it, it’s a mess of pass the flour and where’s the butter but it’s fun and sweet. You and him make sure Vinestaff and Shuriken don’t enter the kitchen to mess the pastries up or to steal batter or cooling cookies. The next day you two are beat and just enjoy sitting together on the couch eating your hard work and watching Shuriken and Vinestaff bicker as usual.

For a gift Slingshot makes you ready to bake dough in a tupperware of your favorite cookies so you can make them at home super easily whenever you want them. He also gets you some cat themed trinkets, he really likes cats, freaking cat boy. (/silly) Shuriken and Vinestaff also get you something but it’s smaller and just a peace offering since you’re dating their boss, even if they have more of a sibling relationship with him anyways.

Hyperlaser:

He doesn’t really do Christmas, it’s not that celebrated in Blackrock and his job keeps him really busy, but he still tries and makes a time for you, if not on, around Christmas to have a night together. You just enjoy a simple home cooked meal at him place, making it together as Princess walks around your feet meowing for a piece of food. Get that you sit down together on his couch, snuggle up with a blanket and watch some movie, probably some action movie most Christmas movies are far too cheesy for Hyperlaser’s tastes. After you eat you exchange presents and split a small little cheesecake he bought. It’s nothing big but it’s so distinctly him that it makes you happy anyways.

As for the aforementioned present he doesn’t do anything much, just something small but meaningful, some sort of personalized trinket of sorts. Like if you go drinking with him and Katana he gets you a small bottle of your favorite drink and maybe a small but nice cup. Again nothing big since he is rather indifferent when it comes to Christmas.

Shuriken:

Once again, the cafe trio Christmas party. This time you’re helping him cause chaos, trying to steal pastries when Slingshot isn’t looking or doing little gag pranks to Vinestaff. Can’t forget pranking each other! You arrive a little after noon once the siblings have finished with their cheesy family time, all the baked goods have been prepared already so Vinestaff is in the kitchen working on the actual dinner so it’s just you and Shuriken at first doing random stuff since Slingshot is tired and Vinestaff is busy. Though between the chaos you have some sweet moments, Shuriken can be gentle and loving when he tries to, and he tries on Christmas.

I think gift wise he’d give you an unlimited free pass to Thieves rest, Slingshot objects but it’s more for show, he knows you won’t abuse it and you make his sudo-brother happy so oh well. He also gets you a shirt that says like a cringiest cheesiest thing, like something a middle aged mom would wear or one of those fake funny ones like ‘Christian dads against cool math games’ or whatever. You laugh and bomp him on the head since it’s so stupid but sweet still.

Scythe:

The church makes something special about Christmas, it’s a big ass event that seeing as Scythe is a very high ranking person in the church she busted her ass of planning and bossing people around for it. So once Christmas finally comes around she glad to finally have more time with you since she spent so long away from you working late hours preparing for it. After she says her greetings to whoever she needs to she immediately pulls you away to the side to make out with you, specially a special spot she planned out and put a mistletoe at as an excuse, and maybe to push some underlings under it for some entertainment. She also drinks quite a bit but she’s a heavyweight so at most she gets a bit tipsy, she’s just glad to have some time to take the edge off and wind down more.

Gifting she gets you some bigger more expensive gifts, most were probably stolen or taken from her assignments. She gets you a really fancy bottle of wine, expensive jewelry, all that kind of stuff, as well as a promise to spend at least a week straight with you after New years since right after this party she has to plan the new year’s party too, oh well at least you know soon enough she’ll spend time with you and probably spoil you as an apology for how long she was busy and away from you.

Medkit:

As mentioned the church treats Christmas as a big event, which he’s not as busy as Scythe but he still has to contribute to the planning and whatever, especially if anyone gets hurt. He views it more as a chore if anything, it was never that big of a thing in Blackrock and now he has to pretend to want to be at some dumb big party. Assuming you are not also in the church he returns home rather late at night and flops down on your bed with a groan. You exchange presents in the morning and go out for a simple easy brunch together. He’s not big on celebrating it but if you want to do something he won’t complain.

He doesn’t get you anything big, probably something pertaining to a hobby you might have, it’s just a smaller thing but it’s still sweet, he thinks gifts are pointless since they can be given anytime why put so much emphasis of these ones? But he will thank you for whatever you get him.

Boombox:

As mentioned I imagine in Playground Christmas is more a friends get together holiday, so you attend Skateboard’s party he hosts. You two stick together but as the night goes on Boombox gets rowdier and louder, but you’re used to the louder and calmer sides of him. Before the party he doesn’t do anything special you just meet up in the evening and go to Skateboard’s place together, unless you want to do something but he’d prefer to do it the day after since he prefers to only do stuff half the day, or so. But he won’t fight if you want to do something together that morning.

He makes you a specialized mixtape of all your favorite songs and songs that remind him of you, and to go with it a small portable music player to listen to it, sure could it have been easier to do like a spotify playlist on your phone? Yeah, but where’s the fun in that! He also gets you your favorite candies and chocolates to go with it.

Subspace:

As I’ve said like 20 times Christmas isn’t that big of a thing in Blackrock, it’s not contributing anything so why waste time celebrating? So being the head engineer for the Blackrock government means he doesn’t really do much about Christmas. However he does invite you to his lab, something he rarely does, and shows you something he made you, after that you leave and wait for him to return home, you have some hot cocoa and go to bed.

The something he made you was a personalized small Biograft, about the size of a Chigraft, specially engineered and designed to assist you with everyday life and have a programmed personality he thought you’d like, it’s also painted to be your favorite color instead of orange, unless orange is your favorite color. He lets you name it and tells you all the intricate details of how he customized it, even if you don’t understand any of the words he’s saying.

Vinestaff:

Once again, you go to the Christmas get together at her, Shuriken and Slingshot are hosting, it’s just you four since Katana declined. When you first arrive you help her ‘give gifts’ to all her plants, which entails giving them specialized fertilizer and watching as she fawns over all of them. Then you help her in cooking dinner, it’s nothing too fancy just some traditional Thieves Den dishes and maybe one or two bonus holiday additions. She’s not amazing at cooking but she’s at least better than her brother, who’s trying to prank you two as you cook unfortunately. After dinner though you all relax and exchange gifts it’s a sweet moment the air filled with laughter as she snuggles up against you.

She gets you a starter kit to grow your favorite flowers, a special bag of soil, a cute pot, and the seeds obviously. You may have to wait until it’s the proper growing weather for the flowers but it’s still a super sweet and thoughtful gift. She also gets you a spa set, amazing creams and lotions, all in your favorite scent, not to mention a nice neck pillow specifically for a bath.

Coil:

Again, Christmas in Playground is a friend’s holiday, so you go to Skateboard’s apartment for the party he hosts that both you and Coil were invited to. You arrive some of the first and watch as Coil jokes around with Skateboard as he sets out the last of the snacks and drinks, poking fun at him in a friendly way. The party doesn’t have a ton of people but still it’s not a small thing either, so you have people to chat with whenever Coil runs off to joke around or grab snacks. You probably crash at Skateboard’s place for the night since they’re best friends and have that permission, you wake up the next morning with a headache and glitter on your face you don’t know where it came from. But it was still a fun night with your lover.

I think he’d get you, oh man Coil is tough, stuff he stole from Blackrock nobles, like maybe jewelry, items from traveling, or even a fancy ass bottle of alcohol. Or maybe a gag gift, something funny and jokey that leads you to start play fighting, I’m honestly not so sure about him my apologies.

alright and that’s a wrap! that was fun to write, i’m currently at dinner i’m not at home i’m on a cruise waiting on my steak, today we hit honduras tomorrow we hit belize! it’s been fun and i got some art i needed to get done for my best friend done, we did an art exchange for christmas on top of the pins of empires season one characters, we’re matching roseblings! i’ll hopefully have the venomshank request done and posted soon, im hoping tomorrow at the latest, have a merry christmas everyone and would you guys like me to do the same thing but for any other characters? if so send a comment with the character but if you want to be anon send it on my personal account @inkcoveredmoon !!
