#maybe its because its been fuck knows how many years since i watched 90% of c1 #but i actually find the way they're changing things up super fascinating #i have questions to be sure and i think they're all having so much fun watching people go THEY'RE NOT GONNA PERMAKILL PERCY ??#(they're obviously not going to leave percy dead)#but because so many things have been folded on top of each other to keep the pace in this several hundred hour campaign adaptation #idk! i just think it's neat! obviously we're not done with ripley yet so we'll see what happens there #also people being like “i didnt need a sad backstory for ripley” like that wasn't the most obvious vehicle to introduce the assembly #a lot of these scenes they're adding in or folding together are doing a LOT of work #the storytelling action economy is honestly astounding #like don't get me wrong i get why people are weirded out by it (i am too! It's strange!) my opinions on arcane s2, while Knowing that they had limited time to try and wrap everything up, are

1. Most of this post. I agree that it undermines stuff in s1...i find myself rewatching s1 and having that same "omg i wonder what will happen...!" feeling that was not delivered upon at all....

2. I did not care about that baby.

they call the sizzle it up vehicle a stagecoach presumably because it has “stage” in the name, but a coach is a passenger vehicle and not large enough for a kitchen/living space. it’s probably more similar to a chuckwagon

I've told this story several years back, but once at my office a person came in through the customer entrance with a bunch of boxes and we didn't know who he was. but that was because he was literally just some random guy.

he said that he was nearby and saw some boxes fall off a UPS truck bounce to the side of the road but the driver didn't notice. so he grabbed the boxes and brought them over cause they were addressed to us.

UPS confirmed them delivered to our dock before this guy even arrived btw

#they contained thousands of dollars worth of hard drives that we could not use #we didnt think the bulk foam packaging was rated for falling from a moving vehicle and weren't going to risk it

sorry tibs i couldnt bribg myself to talk about him on that post but junkrat would not fucking drive a car i know this. he is a beautiful passenger princess he has never had the opportunity to learn because the only fucker in australia with a vehicle is roadhog and he is NOT !!!! letting that gay little freak touch his bike. i think at MOST junkrat could be a guy with a shitty bike that he stuck an engine on and it was very clearly cobbled together in a garage and is only dubiously street legal but it can go fuckyournutsoff speed but i dont think he would ever have a car or know what to do with one if he did.

#roadhog has a line on circuit royale where he whines about wanting a car and so #cringe incoming #so ive had this idea kicking around where 🐟&🐭 steal one as a birthday gift but neither of them fucking know how to drive #and because roadhog is a Car Guy i think i could get him some beautiful vintage piece with a manual and ground wheels instead of the #hovercars. roadhogs bike is like the only ground vehicle we see i choose to believe that was a decision he made.#anyways. the joke is they dont know how to drive and they didnt think that part through when they were like lets steal a car :D

I think it's really interesting that a lot of people have seen i like behind the bastards and immediatley recomended me podcasts that have similar prestige or variety shows with hosts they like and not something of a similar format or topic. To be fair, I think i conveyed what i liked about the show poorly, but i find it interesting that not a lot of people in general seem to understand what they like or dont like about a podcast that isnt a fictional narrative.

#People trying and failing to find a podcast where the hosts only spend the intro and 30 seconds to a minute chatting or joking #as a part of a discussion of the topic instead of using the topic as a vehicle for their funny banter was kind of amusing though.#I saw someone complain on reddit that they wont shut up in btb and lmfao ok you just didnt think they were funny #and didnt like their opinion. Btb has a very organized flow and i can not say that for 99% of podcasts.#☠️
