Counting about nature documentary how do you feel about the crew not helping an animal need? excluding if there being killed by a predator of course. I remember one time a elephant baby got lost and went in the complete opposite direction and the crew juts let it.
I think that the assumption is often that a film crew could help but choose not to, and while I’m sure there true in many cases, I can well imagine that it is far more complicated than that. They’re not generally wildlife experts or medical practitioners, what they may perceive as ‘helping’ could quite easily make things worse. It’s unlikely they’d have the resources to transport an animal to get them adequate care, and what helps one animal could also harm another.
Even in the case of a baby elephant, I’m not sure how a film crew could be expected to direct the movements of an elephant, even a baby. Approaching a wild baby elephant anywhere near their herd would be dangerous, too. There is also the fact that they’re there to capture nature, not necessarily to direct it, and it’s hard to think of where the line should be drawn for people who aren’t any kind of animal expert.
None of this is to say that wild animals in distress shouldn’t be helped, just that a film crew is unlikely to be the best people to do so. I can think of plenty of scenarios where an animal’s suffering could be eased relatively easily by intervention, and it becomes even more important to do so when that suffering is caused in sort by humans or the climate crisis that we have created, but in many cases it will be more complicated than that.

You hear this a lot in bodybuilders: "Well, I need chicken. Or I need chicken to be strong, to build muscle tissue." That is utter nonsense. The largest, strongest terrestrial animals on the planet are all herbivores.

I feel embarrassed and rude for not liking a food chain that most of the#-population does. I'm so pissed that I'm triggered. All of the sudden i smell something in the house that smells like McDonald's-#-then the memories come flooding back and i feel like puking so back so i cant even eat dinner. i know this may seem stupid but i am-#-genuinly scared. Lentils: A Miracle Of Nutrition [Full Documentary]
Lentils are undemanding plants from drier regions, yet at the same time they are extremely rich in protein and are real power packs, full of minerals and trace elements. Scientists from around the world are working on attempts to develop them for use as wonder weapons against famine. The lentil researchers make use of state-of-the-art biotechnology in order to make the undemanding pulses even more profitable and resistant.

A new vegan documentary addressing the barriers to going plant-based will debut in cinemas on April 19, across the UK and Ireland.
I Could Never Go Vegan explores the perceived issues facing veganism today, including fitness, ageing, ethics and the environment.
It boasts interviews with a range of prolific plant-based proponents, including George Monbiot, Dr Melanie Joy, Olympic silver medallist Dotsie Bausch, powerlifting champion Sophia Ellis, and pig vet and animal rights activist Dr Alice Brough, among others.
Also featured are plant-based health experts including Dr Shireen Kassam, Dr Alan Desmond, Dr Gemma Newman, and foodies The Happy Pear.
Additionally, slaughterhouse workers, farmers, and food professionals are interviewed as the filmmakers grapple with the reasons people refuse to stop eating animals.
The world premiere of the documentary will debut in London and Sheffield on April 10th and 11th with a Q&A with cast and crew.
