hey tumblroos, mom has a Dr's appointment in Seattle on New Year's Eve, so I'll be driving her up on the 30th, spending that night, and heading down to portland after her 2pm appointment for the night. 

so basically I am just saying, if any of my Seattle people want to get together for a meal or coffee on the 30th (evening, I am sure) or 31st (morning), YES PLEASE!

and if Portland people (Lizz, I think it's all you right now?) want to get together on the evening of the 31st, I would love that though I know that's NYE and you might not be available.

Pike Place with Sarah, Vasant, Mary, & Lilo. I catch a glimpse of something and run into the crowd.

I catch up with the man and tap him on the shoulder.

me: excuse me, sir, where did you get that bag?

guy: through that door and to the right. Have you tried their peaches? YOU HAVE TO TRY THEIR PEACHES!

and he was Southern so, I sure as hell tried those peaches. ohmypeachesgod. they were good and peaches are not my favorite.

I'm totally going to hang that bag on my kitchen wall. These are my favorite kind of souvenirs. I'll always remember chasing the ~moustache~ and the looks on my friend's faces as they were working out that I did indeed run after a stranger to get a paper bag.

Nine years ago today I started living life with my best friend. Since then, we've gone to school together, faced disease and death, started a business, and are in the process of finishing up our first film. I love him more now then I have every year prior and I am so excited to begin Year Ten.

Whenever one of you beautiful tumblr people come visit us, my heart just bursts with joy. Today caffeinatedcephalopod (the beautiful Jules) and her son Cody let vasantsamudre, clairesalcedo and I take them to dinner, coffee and, as a special request from Cody, go to the Lego Store.

Cody and V have been Lego bros since we all met in person in 2010, going back and forth between Seattle and Oregon for Lego adventures while Jules, Claire and I find someway to occupy our time. We’re really unnecessary to their Lego enjoyment.

I love them so much.

Also, Vasant and I built Lego versions of ourselves, which you can see above. His action figure is called “Big Trouble” and mine is “Producer Fix-It Lady.” The wrench is both for fixing problems and starting them.
