So a bit ago the silt verses discord group discussed like ‘duo names’ and we didn’t get that far but I would like to use them as tags so:

- Ranefall: Faulkner & Rane (not romantic not platonic but a secret third thing)

(We never landed on a definitive one for Hayward and Paige)

2. Which of your fics is your pride and joy?

okay okayyyy listen i really love all my fics buttttt if i Had To choose id say Of Water and Devotion, Shallow but Devouring. i mean you know very well how i feel about the ch.44 drowning scene…. also 1.this one is one of my longest fics 2.i really put a lot of effort into it and im really content w how it turned out 3.writing long dialogs and long continuous scenes is always a bit of a challenge and this fic is literally just that lol so i feel pretty proud that i (in my opinion) pulled that shit off

10. Is there a character/ship you’d love to write for, but haven’t yet?

(not a ship, but a sibling dynamic, obviously, we all know that) Carp&Faulk!!!! they make me so so so so insane id really love to write something w them it’s just that their relationship and story is so perfectly and fully explored in the show that im just left sitting with mouth agape like damn what would i even have to add to All This (but you know im sure ill get there) and also just Carpenter (im a little intimidated to write her because she is just SOOOOO— but that’s fine im not in a rush) oh and also i gotta hop into valshrue toxic yuri at some point they are waiting for me they are calling to me

23. What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?

i really want to write a Paige-centric fic and i want it to be serious and emotional and with some good proper body horror (and not just horror involving body) but i don’t have a full or even half full idea yet… wait for me Paige wait…

31. What fic meant the most to you to write?

oh my god this one was so hard to answerrrr i was literally sitting here staring into a wall doing calculations and mind gymnastics but i think in the end i gotta go w My Prophet and I. like i think i have a lot of fics that are objectively better language and structure-wise than this one, but i love its emotional journey + it’s so clear that i wrote this shit so specifically for me what can i say (also first rane perspective fic gotta celebrate that)

i don't really understand the appeal of valshrue AND i don't get the appeal of most of the "ranefall" stuff. wish i felt more like i could talk in the silt verses server i'm in, but, alas,

I couldn't stop thinking about VAL listening to Shrue's radio speech when she confronts Carson, and wondering just how many times she listened back to that recording while waiting for him. Did it bring her some comfort, to listen to someone else's last words as she waited to speak her own? Did she feel a little less alone, keeping company with another ghost that hasn't realised it's already dead?
