So, for the past few months, my brother has been introducing me to the game series Trails of Cold Steel. When he first started showing me it, I wasn't fully into it, until, I started paying attention to the voices. Particularly, one caught my attention later on, the voice of Rean's Divine Knight, Valimar.i realized that the voiced sound familiar. So one Google search later, and I find out he's voiced by the same guy who played Chase in rescue bots. At the time, we were watching Fairly Oddparents and planned to watch Prime after that, so we added RB to the list. Anyway, for fun, I started saying that Chase and Valimar would get along, so skip a few months to when we start watching Rescue Bots. Me and my brother and I started talking more about how they would interact, the opinions of each other, et cetera, et cetera.. and one day, just for fun, I say, "Someone should write a fic of them meeting," and I come over the next day, and my brother tells me that he has started writing the fanfic, so I'm a little shocked at that, because to be honest I was mostly joking, so in response, I say "you finish the fic and I'll draw art to go with it."

And here we are now.

The sequel to my last post with Valimar. Divine Knight Ordine from The Legend of Heroes series. Looking forward to having a set of all 7 some day.

I was super excited about getting my VALIMAR, THE ASHEN KNIGHT (from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel) model kit, but was super disappointed to find out it had almost no color separation despite a ton of detail, thanks to screenshots from r/gunpla (which I use for comparison above). A couple bits were painted, like the head and some of the green energy spots, but it was largely just gray plastic. I wanted to try to give it the paint job it deserved.

Only problem is that the only kit painting I had ever done before were some details on my SD Dark Gundam kit, which turned out fine, but I really wanted to make sure I did this as nicely as I could. I went over to @gundamplanet to buy some paint, and got some tips that really helped out dramatically: primarily, to put a base coat on everything to make the paint show better, and to buy thinner to mix with the paint to help it run more smoothly.

The thing I wish I had listened to them on is to buy an airbrush. This was a beast to paint with brushes, and in addition to being much easier, all the silver (and black for the inside of the wings) would've looked infinitely more consistent. I nearly junked the whole thing after I painted the body because I was so upset with how it looked at that point, but once I snapped it all together I was pretty happy with my work.

Looking forward to getting around to all the other kits I have that won't require massive paint jobs!

You shouldn't make a mess in someone else's bathroom, so you shouldn't go and make a mess in someone else's Aether Keep and then go and justify your bullshit with several bullshit units like Forma versions of Young Palla and Young Caeda. It's just plain injustice.

So hopefully exposing this shithead's map will get them more losses in the future. Good luck making a mess in THEIR bathroom.

Hi "worm" is a super super broad term. You'd have to be more specific with a scientific name! Feel free to comment on this with more info if you have it and tag me so I see it :)

Saw the Cold Steel tag for the character opinion bingo! Thoughts on Rean Schwarzer and/or Juna Crawford?

Rean:

Weirdly, I don't think I can really describe my view on Rean. All that comes to mind is the lyric from the song "she used to be mine" which goes "she is all of this mixed up and baked in a beautiful pie" like, I really liked his character arc in CS2, and I really like his vibe. He's a pretty deep and complex character. And I really find his bond with Valimar very very wholesome and nice to see.

Juna:

Honestly, I liked her a lot. She was pretty cool, and I always loved a woman who could think for herself. I really liked her character arc specifically because it really showed how many layers she has. I mean, who wouldn't hate the country that forcefully annexed them? She's a very complex character, and I always like that in any character
