Jason is a naturally protective person, and people fucking with his puppies brings out this feral part of him that has scared Katie’s school office on more than one occasion. It's very sexy if Leo is to be honest, but he's not a good judge of hotness levels when it comes to his man (at least says Piper, but what does she know)

There's something about Jason biting the head off of school officials with their kid on his hip that does something to Leo, makes him wish he could get knocked up for a split second. He should be reeling his man in, but fuck the public school system and fuck people messing with his kid Jason can eat them for all he cares

And also getting to watch his sweet caring gentle man snap on people, especially for Leo and his, something about it makes Leo want to go feral on him in return

And of course, then the difficult conversation happens with whether or not they bring Luke's picture. On one hand, he was Annabeth's brother... on the other hand, he was responsible for the deaths of half the other portraits. Thalia begrudgingly agrees to have a picture of him in her pocket where no one else can see, so Annabeth knows he's there.

My favorite version of Percabeth weddings is the one where Jason’s apart of the wedding party because Leo brings a framed photo of him and tapes a suit onto him and carry’s him with him the whole time

Valgrace Wedding Day Headcanons:

Leo and Jason get married on the 3rd of July, as that’s right in between their birthdays, and it meant they could be off on their honeymoon by the 4th. Leo hates fireworks ever since that teensy tiny incident where he exploded, so if they’re out of the country by then they could avoid it.

I hc that Leo made Annabeth’s wedding dress (he didn’t make the ring. Tyson made the ring) so Annabeth totally helps to design both Leo’s and Jason’s wedding outfits.

Thalia was best man. Piper was maid of honour.

Percy’s main job was to secure a “something blue”. He took it with great pride.

Aphrodite officiated the wedding as a favour to Piper.

Hephaestus being the god of creation, and the fact that they know all these insanely talented demigods- most of their wedding stuff was home-made and crafted by friends.

It was a BIG EVENT. Neither of them are particularly self-indulgent people, and this is the first time they ever get to do something just for themselves, so they go all out.

They’re also one of the first (if not the first) cross-pantheon couples to get married since the camps re-formed their divide, so their wedding was a big deal. They had an orange/purple colour scheme, everything was imperial gold and celestial bronze, they had Roman, Greek, and western wedding traditions. Multiple gods and goddesses were there, from multiple different mythologies. Even Hera/Juno was begrudgingly welcomed.

He kisses him until natural oxygen is hard to draw in and he has to make his own to feed into his husband, breathing into him just as much as he takes his breath away. Its desperate and claiming and Leo gives back as good as he gets, his own breath going superheated against Jason’s lips becoming visible between them with the temperature difference. It would burn if Jason wasn't so resistant to temperature spikes, so instead he just licks into his husband's mouth and does everything in his power to drink him down

The Shovel Talk

Ok, I'd seen a small Valgrace post (a bit neutral on the ship, but that's just my take on it) that Hera gives Leo the shovel talk about dating Jason. I'd disagree - it would be Hera giving the shovel talk to whoever chooses to date Leo. I say this because this goddess - Queen of Olympus herself - helped raise Leo as his babysitter for a good chunk of years, and I've talked about how Hera seemingly went out of her way to help Esperanza and Leo during his younger years. If there's any demigod that Hera's likely to be protective about, it would be and should be Leo.

And part of me just thinks that Hera, in divine grandmother/nanny form, is the one that gives great shovel talks — great as in, the threats are great in the magnitude they convey. If a boy or girl decides to date Leo, Hera won't directly threaten them. But she does things like meet them where they live when talking about their relationship with Leo, implies knowing dirty secrets of the love interest's past, and mentions previous myths of how some poor, hapless mortal died a cruel death because they cheated on their spouse. They were not direct threats, but they had clear implications that she could and would ruin them if they broke Leo's heart.

Jason tries to become Leo's boyfriend? In a casual chat, she mentions how she turned against the OG Jason for turning his back on Medea and hopes history doesn't repeat itself. Frank? She mentions how she helped save him from dying and that he wouldn't pay her back by breaking Leo's heart, now would he? She's a bit more lax about the threats if a girl decides to date Leo due to her often seeing wives having horrible husbands, but she still keeps an eye on them like Argus. Or like Roz from Monster's Inc.: Always watching. Always.

I can easily imagine Hera deciding to break out ye olde Abrahamic retaliation if and or when Calypso chooses to break up with Leo if it's not within reasonable terms. A disease that leaves her bedridden for a month, cursing any marriages that she has to never last, her home suddenly collapsing beneath her feet because of a god-fueled earthquake on the day of the breakup.

Things escalate even more once the discussion of marriage is brought up. Of course, as the goddess of marriage, she will be heavily involved in it. Imagine a grandparent-level in-law who could fund the wedding of your dreams. But suppose you do something to harm Leo before or after your wedding. That would not end well. She will personally drag the offending soul into the Fields of Punishment and arrange said eternal damnation to be personally ironic. In-laws who try to ruin the wedding are transformed into peacocks immediately.

What would make it even more funny would be if Hera kept Leo entirely in the blind to her own meddling. Imagine Leo being excited for the first date with someone. He's prepared and slightly nervous because he's still new to everything. In the meantime, his love interest is mentally sweating bullets because Hera's hovering behind Leo like a freaking Stand with ゴゴゴゴ hovering in the background. The boy is oblivious that the Queen of the Gods herself is third-wheeling incognito to make sure nothing funny happens.

ok so for wedding song i feel like superman by taylor swift is an obv choice, but something they would do. i also feel like leo would make sure that the playlist had HEAPS of tiktok dance songs (im thinking karma by jojo siwa, cupid, rasputin, etc) and make jason dance to them. jason would for sure have a bunchh of old classic love songs, like head over heels by tears for fears and sweater weather by the neighbourhood, and a bunch of obscure indie songs that no one else knows.

as for their pet i can totally see them getting a dog, but like adopting a really old one tgat no one wanted, and ofc it would be a husky bc jason said ut looked like a wolf. leo also kinda seems like the type to have a lizard? idk hed get some weird exotic pet liek tgat for sure.
