With Valentine's Day coming up, I have decided to try my hand at doing some matchups. This will last until Feb. 14th. Be sure to read the rules before participating.

"Sorry... what?", asked Yoichi awkwardly. The thing is you asked him, if you can do his nails. And even though Yoichi found this embarrassing at first, somehow he just couldn't say "no" to his cute adorable friend. That's how he ended up sitting in front of you, while you were showing him nail varnishes of different colors. And when you asked Yoichi which one he'd like to choose, he chose one of this that caught his eye immediately without even thinking. It took all his willpower to not stare at you, so Yoichi pretended to look out the window, but he stole glances at you from time to time. Yoichi felt himself strangely every time your hands touched his, his heart raced and his face burned, even though the room wasn't so warm. And when you started painting his nails, Yoichi gasped, because he realized that the color he chose instinctively was the color of your eyes. Even though he was nervous from the very beginning, Yoichi got really flustered from awareness of his feelings. Everything fell into place, he was in love with you and that's why he was so flustered. The rest of the time, Yoichi was zoned out, praying that you couldn't hear the sound of his heartbeat. Ah, he was head over heels!~

The first thing Yoichi does to win you over he invites you on a date whenever the two of you have some free time, but he pretends that this is just a friendly hangout. Yoichi wants to get to know you better, he starts out slow and tries not to rush into things, enjoying every single step in your relationship. Even though the two of you start as a friends, his intentions are clear. His soft loving gaze, reserved for you, his enthusiastic compliments Yoichi just blurts out because, oh, you're just so perfect, he can't, absolutely can't, hide his feelings about you. Yoichi's love is so pure and obvious, it literally swipes you off your feet. He also would like to become the important person in your life, an essential part of your life, he does his best to make you think about him more, be it some thoughtful gifts, He pretends he bought this just accidentally, but the truth is he spent hours choosing the perfect present. meetings with each other's parents or becoming the person you spend the most of your time with. And, of course. Yoichi wants to confess you as soon as it's possible to call you his girlfriend not only in his dreams.

Lilac — What are they like when they're in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Ah, Yoichi, this lovesick puppy, he's so smitten with you. He isn't smooth or like this, but he's just so in love with you! His feelings are so obvious for others, almost painfully obvious for his friends and they don't hesitate to tease him about it. They call him "lovestruck", "whipped", "simp", all these nicknames stuck to Yoichi. But what he can do? He can't hide his feelings around you, he doesn't even want to try, because Yoichi wants to show you how much he is in love with you. When the two of you are together, Yoichi always has this lovesick smile on his face, while he's looking at you with the moon eyes and talking to you about stuff the two of you find interesting. He doesn't interested in people around him, he only has his eyes on you. Yoichi makes sure that you feel comfortable and loved. You're his priority number one, his time reserved specially for you.

Daisy — How easy is it to embarrass them? What can you do to fluster them and make them melt?

Yoichi gets flustered pretty easily, especially during the crush phase and in the beginning of your relationship. Every time you touch him, compliment him, tell him something sweet, damn, even when you call him by his fist name, all of this makes butterflies in his stomach go crazy and you can see his adorable flushed cheeks. But as soon as Yoichi joined the Blue Lock, he became more confident, even shameless sometimes. And now he switches from cute blushing mess to teasing you back and making you flustered with great success. Despite this you're his beloved girlfriend and Yoichi can't help, but melts into a puddle every time you spoil him with your affection. He lives for the moments when it's just the two of you enjoying each other's presence. And even though he doesn't get flustered so easily now, you still can catch him off the guard and then look at Yoichi turning into the stuttering mess.

Hellebore — Comforting headcanons. How would they help you when you feel down/have a panic attack? And how would you help them?

Being a very empathetic person, Yoichi learned all your habits. He knows when you started getting mad or feeling down by the single expression of your face. And Yoichi does his best to avoid the situations that make you feel uncomfortable. But of course everyone has bad days, so Yoichi is more than ready to comfort you if you feel down for some reason. He is very, very gentle, treating you like you're made of glass. Every time you feel bad, Yoichi cuddles with you, his hand strokes your back gently or he runs his fingers trough your hair, whispering sweet nothing in your ears. If you cry, Yoichi wipes your tears with the softest smile on his face and kisses your eyes then. His actions always make you melt into a puddle of affection and forget about the bad stuff that happened that day.

Even though almost nothing can throw Yoichi off balance, he still has some bad days and the things that disappoint him. Every time Yoichi feels down, he becomes more silent and distant. It's a little difficult for him to open up his true feelings, he doesn't want to show this side of him. But of course you know that Yoichi is disappointed and encourage him gently to open up. Yoichi would be happy if you encourage him to ramble about the things that disappointed him, while the two of you are cuddling. Your words of comfort along with gentle touches help Yoichi to calm down and enjoy the sweet moment you share.

Peony — Nicknames headcanons. What petnames do they have for you? What are their favorite nicknames for you to call them?

In the beginning of your relationship the two of you called each other by last name. It took time to start calling each other by the first name, but it was a really special moment between you two. From that moment on, you and Yoichi call each other by the first name and this's your favorite. Yoichi also likes reducing your full name and adding "chan", he finds this so cute! But sometimes when he feels so smitten with you, "angel"  just flow out of his mouth, he can't control himself. And as soon as Yoichi found out about Kaiser's feelings for you, he started calling you "my princess" or "my queen". "My" is very necessarily since Yoichi wants to show that your heart belongs to him, not to mention that this's true, you're amazing, the embodiment of the queen.

When it comes to Yoichi, he likes when you call him by his first name or again literally any petname including "my": "my boyfriend", "my cutie", "my best football player". His heart flutters, yes, he is yours, he is only yours. His heart, his soul, his love belong to you.

Forget-me-not — Their favorite memory with you?

Yoichi will always remember your first date hangout. He asked you if you'd like to do skiing with him. And when you agreed Yoichi didn't sleep a wink of excitement, dreaming about your date. Even though he has never done this before, Yoichi enjoyed the every single minute of your date. Especially when you taught him to skate, holding his hands in yours. Ah, Yoichi couldn't focus on skiing because he adored your hands. Yoichi thought what that would be like holding your hand as your boyfriend, not as your student. After skiing, you two went to the cafe and take a bite. And then Yoichi walked you home and... He got the courage and took your hand! Even though his heart has beaten like crazy, he was so happy. On this day, Yoichi vowed to himself that he would confess you one day and make you his girlfriend.

Yoichi hates, absolutely hates this fact that Michael Kaiser, his rival, has a crush on his precious, adorable, the most beloved girlfriend. Even though Yoichi always thought that he isn't a jealous or possessive type of boyfriend, now his confidence wavered. Not that Yoichi is doubtful about you, he just feels that he is ready to explode every time he sees Kaiser with you. Fortunately, as soon as Michael realized his feelings, he distanced himself, so current situation is much more peaceful. But the time Kaiser flirted with you to piss Yoichi off, oh, dear, Blue Lock thought that the Apocalypse isn't so far. These two were like Shido and Rin, bickering every day, it almost came to blows. Their poor teammates had to break the fight apart. But Yoichi calmed down as soon as you understood the situation and assured him that he is the only one you have your eyes for.

i put on another fancy dress fighting game tournament last weekend, called it Guilty Gala. here's my ramlethal-inspired fit with my doubles partner (we got third!)

70 people for this event, a new personal record. when I did this format in the spring for tekken we had a similar if slightly smaller turnout and just under half of attendees dressed up according to the theme. for the strive players it was 95%. i knew I could count on the game who's playerbase is all gay kids and grunglers

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 — @parmesanunlimited ♡

You want a partner that makes you feel safe and protected, as well as joke around with you. Well, Ruggie would be that partner for you! Strength isn't a word that most would use to describe Ruggie, but he is protective of his loved ones and would do anything in his power to make sure nothing harms them. He's also quite the jokester, and has a similar sense of humor as you, so you both would often work each other into laughing fits just by being around each other. He's very fond of you, and that fact is obvious to everyone when they see him doing stuff for you for free, like carrying your things or bringing you snacks. Besides his studies, he's kept busy by Leona. But knowing how you value quality time, especially before you became comfortable with physical contact, he tries his best to make time for you. Once you're comfortable with physical touch, you'll find that he loves it too. The both of you often hold hands, sit together, cling to each other. Not to mention, frequent cuddles!

The nights are cold all year around, sometimes just colder than usual. Making a campfire while you rest for the night has been part of your routine for the past few weeks. Electricity isn't available everywhere and must be preserved, for your wristwatch that has a GPS function. If your wristwatch was to go dead or be broken, you wouldn't be able to find your way home. The moon and stars have long since been hidden away for good behind layers of cloudy smog, the work of decades of pollution reaching its peak before you were even born.

You turn on your music player, plugging your earphones in as you start to hum the first song out loud. Its battery won't last long, only one hour at most. But you can't charge it until you reach the nearest town in the morning. You sigh. It's at times like this that you wish guitars survived the apocalypse, so you or a certain someone with you could play it while singing next to the campfire, singing the chill of the night away. You were shown a video when you were younger, of people gathered around a big campfire, singing heartily while a man played the guitar. Your father had called it a "camping ritual". Apparently people from before the apocalypse did camping for fun, because most of the time they lived in nice houses with electricity and water supplied straight to their homes. You can't imagine camping for "fun". In this day and age, camping is a necessity, a way of life.

"Brooding all by yourself again?" A playful voice speaks up behind you.

There's no need for you to turn around. Ruggie plops himself down beside you, his knee brushing against yours. "What is it this time? The book you were reading just now? Your music player being on the verge of death? My horrible cooking?"

You laugh. "No, not really, and no. Hey, your cooking is great!"

He crosses his arms, tilting his head. "Hmm... So something to do with music. What could it be?"

You pull your knees up to your chest, looking back at the fire. "It's just... I was thinking about guitars. Having one right now would be nice. For singing by the campfire."

"Ohh." He nods once, twice. "But they'd never survive in this wasteland, with all the dust floating around."

"I know. I'm just saying it would be nice."

He pauses. You're not sure why he looks so hesitant, it's not like you're upset or anything. Eventually, he speaks up again. "Welp. It's okay. We can still sing together."

"How? Are you going to start drumming your legs?" You tease.

"No..." He drawls, scooting closer and gently pulling one of your earbuds out, then slotting it into his ear. "Though that doesn't sound like a bad idea. As long as I recognize the song, we can sing together."

You "hm" agreeably, leaning into his shoulder. Soon, your voices waft into the air, chasing away the silent atmosphere, the chill of the night.

I’m an ENFJ personality type. I am pretty extroverted and can make new friends anywhere I go but I also like my quiet time at home! I feel like Avdol was a pretty obvious choice.. in my head at least! You want a man with a big heart? He's right there!

Avdol is a very social person. He's not exactly shy when it comes to strangers, he treats everyone with the same respect. And he's glad that you're the same!

Everywhere the two of you go, you're able to have fun and make friends. Avdol loves that, since it saves him the trouble of worrying about where to take you on dates.

That doesn't mean he does not care, though. He always makes sure to ask you where you want to go, what you want to do, etc. He never takes you anywhere he knows you won't be comfortable.

While Avdol likes to travel, he knows that sometimes all you need is a nice, quiet day at home. If you don't feel like going anywhere, he'll be more than happy to stay in with you.

The man appreciates good humour - it's something he'd look for in a partner. Therefore, he loves your witty jokes and sarcastic remarks. Even if none of the crusaders laugh at your joke, he's by your side, chuckling. If he feels like it, he makes a few good-natured remarks in return as well.

On that note, another thing he values in a relationship is a strong emotional connection. He doesn't mind that you're emotional - he likes that you're not afraid to show how you feel. He found that out quite quickly, when the crusaders decided to have a movie night and you cried over the death of one of the characters. He was the closest and most willing to comfort you, so that job was left to him. And since then, he'd never failed to comfort you whenever you felt bad about something.

Avdol is more than happy to make accommodations for your routine. He'll be quick to memorize it, and the first to scold the crusaders (or, anyone, really) if they somehow try to get in the way.

He's not the most touchy person. However, he does enjoy having an arm on your shoulder, or holding your hand every once in a while. He's a surprisingly good cuddler, though! Do what you will with that info.

The stars hung high above your head as you stumbled your way through the dirt path that led to you and Avdol's shared home.

Today was.. exhausting, to say the least. You worked hard all day and had to deal with Polnareff's usual antics on top of that.

You clumsily opened the door as soon as it was within reach and kicked your shoes off. You didn't even think much about how all the lights were off, or the eerie silence. You figured Avdol went to sleep earlier tonight.

But then you made your way to the dining room. Your favourite flowers' petals spread across the table, with some of your favourite food served on an intricate plate. The only sources of light were the small, but beautiful candles decorating the middle of the table.

And opposite to you sat the man you loved so dearly. And god, did he look magnificent, the candlelight lighting up his face in the most gorgeous way possible.

"Avdol.." your voice, even in this tired state, was soft as you looked over the sight. "This is.. amazing. Absolutely amazing."

His smile at your words warmed your heart more than anything.

"But.. what gives?"

The previous smile is quickly replaced by a confused expression and a raised eyebrow. But then, he looked you up and down to take in your disheveled appearance and seemed to understand.

"You must've forgotten." He spoke calmly. "It's the 14th."

That's when it clicks.

Goodness.. in the chaos of today and your current exhausted state, you'd completely forgotten it was Valentine's Day.

"Oh my god. Avdol, I'm sorry-"

"Don't." He quickly cut you off. "No need to apologize. I understand. Please, just sit down."

You nodded and did as he said. You felt a little more calm, now in the presence of your lover.

You eyed your food, and once you got a nod of acknowledgement from Avdol, you began to eat.

During your relationship, you'd learned quite a few new things about him.. and one of them happened to be the fact that he's a great cook!

Even so, the dish he made for tonight seemed to be curated extra carefully for this special occasion, and it showed.

After you'd finished, he took your hand in his, gently stroking your knuckles. "I couldn't plan anything extravagant, but.. happy Valentine's Day, my love."

"Avdol, this is perfect," you reassured him. "I don't want anything else. Trust me." You squeezed his hand. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too."

Hi, I’m requesting a DC matchup

I can be very socially awkward and insecure, especially in groups of people I don’t know that well. I can get overstimulated easily and will need time to recharge. I have some sensory issues so any partner would need to be understanding and patient with that (and not mind me only ordering hot dogs or chicken tenders at restaurants)

When it comes to my relationships, I’m a different story though. I’m known for being a mother hen towards my loved ones, friends and family included, and tend to view those I care about to be mine to love and protect. I am also very protective. If someone makes my friend upset, I’m ready to ride. Especially in romantic relationships.

I tend to not be good at remembering things unless I’m reminded periodically. I’m not good at responding to texts, and unconsciously can be overbearing, but once I’m given a boundary I’m good at following it.

I prefer to listen to my partner talk about their interest or to just spend time with them doing our own things and listening to music while the two of us just hang out together. My main love languages are quality time and words of affirmation.

For Reo, everything in his life is always there, money, friends, love? Anything he wants. Except for you, Reo views you out of touch from him, but always there at the same time. Oh how you support your friends with no favoritism, not treating him differently due to his upbringing or status. Reo would truly love and respect you for that.

Perhaps he saw you in the school garden? Gently handling the plants, Or maybe in class, when you help a classmate, explaining the problem to them strategically yet thoughtfully.

It clicked for him suddenly, he was in love with you. That same day Reo would run to Nagi all giddy and explain the situation to him.

❀ Aster — Courting/flirting headcanons. How would they act around their crush?

Reo is a charismatic man, he’s able to naturally swoon anyone he meets, but. Around you, Reo is SUCH a suck up! Messing up any romantic act he tries to do, it's humiliating. Poor boy, every time he tries to impress you he would just end up flustered himself from your day to day activities that Reo views as absolutely adorable.

If he liked you, everyone would know, inviting you to Michelin star restaurants, trying to convince you to fly out with him, buying you the most extravagant gifts, etc.

However, I think this would all be in vain, someone like you, I would say appreciates thoughtful gifts, it wouldn't matter the price or beauty, but meaning rather. Once Reo grasps this (maybe after consulting with his bsf that doesn't really care about his love life) I think you two would get so much closer.

❀ Tulip — Confession headcanons. How would they confess to you?

A romantic yet casual scene in school. Reo would have to restrain himself from going all out. Counseling with his friend, about all the things and possibilities going through his head. “Maybe a horse” (at school Reo? 🤔) “Or a ring?” In the end he chose a traditional confession.

“Valentines day?” He would ask nagi in class, who’s half sleeping.

He decided to sneak up on you after school. Just imagine it, Reo holding a box of chocolates for you, as he kneels on one knee, (almost like he’s proposing). The air breezing coldly, with snow falling softly, Reo would ask you to be his valentines, essentially saying that he likes you. :)

When Reos in love, you’d feel like a princess. Reo would carry you if you asked, peel a orange for you, open doors for you, and the works. I feel like Reo is the type of guy to have words or affirmation and gift giving. This man will brag to all of his friends on now great you are, how you're caring, you’re beautiful, and more. As for gifts, it could be big or small, but you would always know it was bought with thought and care. Some things he may gift you are, tiny flowers, practical things; like products for your animals, getting you books, handbags, and maybe just dates for quality time.

it is surprising how much people know your in a relationship with Reo, to the point where people just assume it. By no means is he a aggressive jealous, but youd definitely know. Reo has signs. Like suddenly touching you, -> holding you hand, playing with your hair, etc, glaring at whoever he’s jealous at, becoming quiet.

Reo, the normally calm and composed prodigy. Except for you. Like when you do something unexpectedly sweet, such as adjusting his scarf on a cold day or when you stop on a street to pet a stray cat, he would completely freezes. This boy gets so flustered over something youre not even doing on purpose.

He also gets embarrassed when you playfully tease him, Reo try to brush it off, but the faint blush on his ears will give it away.

❀ Hydrangea — Dates headcanons. What kind of dates would they take you on? What is their favorite type of date?

Ah yes, dates with THE Reo, as you can imagine, extravagant wonderful, so on and so on. But, since this is also Reo and his lovely girlfriend. He would want to go on dates with whatever you’re comfortable with. This could be watching a movie at his place, a late night walk to the park, going horse riding together. Whatever you want.

Butttt if we were talking about Reos favorite type of date, id start off with a lazy morning. He would make breakfast, something healthy and refreshing to start the day, while you both talk about mundane things. Later in the afternoon, you both would go to a shopping mall. Reos parents would definitely be spectacle at first, worrying if it's the best for their son, and for the future of the company. However, Reo would also most definitely push back on this, not willing to give you up. Maybe even threatening to break contact with his parents, (I doubt it’d go this far, but Reo would go to war for you).

Once you interact more with his family, they would LOVE you, so incredibly much. I honestly can't stress this enough but i think you'd be the perfect daughter in law. Moving onto what his friends would think, I believe they would be pretty chill with you, by no means would they dislike you. By the public, you two would be known as the perfect couple.

At first Reo would be hesitant to hold hands with you, overthinking everything. Maybe you two were walking home from school together, you walking cluelessly as to Reos inner thoughts. HE so wanted to snatch you up and hold your hand. Anyways, moving onto current time, Reo would love holding hands with you, 24/7. It could be school, doing work together, cooking, you name it. Since you have smaller hands than Reo, he would be really gentle, but, he’d also tease you in turn :). Since Reo works out alot, its expected that his hands might be calloused, anddd because you like hair & skin care, maybe some hand care too? He would honestly love to do anything with you. Initially his flirting is very subtle, but he gradually becomes more bold and straightforward the closer you two become. The last thing he wants is to scare you off by being too forward - but, at the same time, he always behaves in a way that is genuine and true to himself. He tends to be a bit distant towards others, polite but not exactly warm. But around you, he starts to smile more, starts to become a bit more lively and engaged.

For an example of his subtle flirting, Xavier likes plants, and is quick to notice that you have quite a few houseplants in your apartment and on your balcony. He gifts you a few to add to your collection! They become new beloved members of your plant family - he helps name them and cares for them whenever he stops by. (Of course, he helps tend to your other plants, too, but he is particularly attached to the ones he gives you).

And, in general, he starts reaching out to chat more often, or to see if you want to hang out or do something fun in town. He’s also happy to help you out if you ever need assistance with errands or tasks around your home, no matter how big or small. If he happens to see you carrying groceries into your apartment building, he’s suddenly there and taking a few of the bags to lighten your load. If one of your appliances is acting up in your home, he’s happy to take a look at it and see if it’s something he knows how to fix - and if not, he’s willing to wait with you or lend you a similar appliance (if possible) while you wait for a repair service. Just little things like that, which slowly intertwine your lives more and more.

Xavier doesn’t embarrass or fluster easily at all. He is a very straightforward, self-assured person who has no qualms about being who he is. He also readily accepts any of your attention that is directed towards him. That’s not to say you and your affections don’t affect him, though! Sometimes he feels a little shy when you lovingly tease him, or he’ll get a happy pink flush to his cheeks whenever you say something really sweet and heartfelt. He adores it, and it makes his heart flutter and his brain short-circuit - but it doesn’t embarrass him.

On a similar note, Xavier is not the type to tease you very often. When he does, it is often very lighthearted and soft, barely even classified as a tease most of the time - and you’re able to banter back very easily. His affections don’t really fluster you (most of the time, but sometimes he truly does surprise you and catch you off guard - he can be a bit of a wild card), but you do often find yourself melting a little from how cute and sweet he is.

If you play with his hair, Xavier is apt to start dozing off. Your fingers running through the soft, fluffy strands of his hair, nails lightly raking across his scalp, the subtle scent of your lotions and perfumes… everything combines and relaxes him completely. Most of the time, when you play with his hair, he’s already lying down with his head in your lap, or he’s slouched against your side with his head on your shoulder. He’s comfortable, your fingers playing with his hair feels so nice, and he just… falls asleep. He might wake if you stop playing with his hair, but there are times where he will continue snoozing until you decide to wake him up.

Xavier plays with your hair regularly. It just looks so soft, wispy, and silky - and it is - and he can’t resist running his fingers through the long strands of hair, watching as they slip between his digits. He does it almost without thinking; he reaches out to you, ruffles your hair, plays with the long strands. However, you take such good care of your hair that he’s almost a little hesitant to touch it sometimes! Obviously, he isn’t going to touch it if you’re doing one of your hair treatments or you’ve recently styled it - but any other time when you two are getting cozy and snuggling up together, it doesn’t take long before he’s absentmindedly running his fingers through your hair.

Xavier’s hands are often a little dry, especially in the winter; the skin over his knuckles is most likely to become chapped. If you mention it, he will do his best to remember to apply lotion… though he does forget at times, when there are more important things to worry about. He won’t take offense if you take the task upon yourself and slather some lotion on his skin, though, for both his sake and yours (since it isn’t always the most pleasant holding and caressing someone’s chapped skin). But besides that, his hands are very warm - this is very nice for you, with your perpetually ice cold hands. Thankfully, he does not seem to mind your cold hands!

He loves cuddling, but only when he doesn’t have anything pressing going on. Because he really wants to focus on you when spending quality time together with you, he typically gets all of his tasks out of the way first so there’s nothing else weighing on his mind once you’re together. That said, if you’re ever the one to initiate cuddling, he will never turn you down. Xavier’s favorite time to cuddle is definitely when settling down for a nap. (Even when he has no plans to nap, if he starts cuddling you, he is liable to fall asleep). On the couch or on the bed doesn’t matter, so long as you both have plenty of space to get comfortable.

He has two favorite positions: on his back with your head resting on his chest, and spooning (with him being the big spoon, but he won’t complain if you want to be the big spoon). Xavier adores the feeling of you tucked up against his side, your arm slung over his waist, and the weight of your head on his chest. When pressed so close together, he can feel and hear your breathing easily, knowing that you’re still with him alive and well. As for spooning, he just finds it incredibly comfortable. You’re like his own personal body pillow, fitting so well in his arms. It’s another position where you two are snugly pressed together, but it’s a bit easier for either of you to detach and roll over if you’re napping and naturally moving around.

Xavier loves receiving kisses of all kinds, but he especially enjoys when you give him a kiss to greet him, whether it be on the cheek or the lips. It just makes him so happy, and he gets the softest grin on his face whenever you give him a kiss to welcome him home or when you two meet up after work for a date. That lovestruck look is always followed by a quiet “I missed you” that he murmurs against your lips as he returns the kiss. There’s also something about receiving forehead kisses from you that gets his heart fluttering happily, though they are only given when he’s sitting or lying down somewhere and you’re standing above him.

On the other hand, Xavier loves to give long kisses that leave you flushed and breathless. His lips are soft but firm - not overly plush or pliant. Needless to say, these kisses are only bestowed upon you in private (or, if you allow it, a private enough place in public, somewhere tucked out of sight from others). He says he can’t help it, that once he starts kissing you he just can’t stop. You sometimes roll your eyes at such statements, but there’s often an endeared smile on your face all the same. Xavier is also very fond of kissing the top of your head, taking a moment to nuzzle his cheek into your silky hair. These are often given in the early mornings, when he isn’t quite ready to start the day.

Xavier isn’t touch starved, but he is very affectionate and will seek out your touch whenever possible just because he likes to indulge. Besides, if you’re around and in love with him, and you’re open to the affection, why not indulge? He also isn’t shy about straight-up asking you to spend time with him or pay attention to him. While he doesn’t typically come across as whiny or clingy, he can sometimes sound a bit demanding.

He tends to favor quality time as a love language - he greatly values any time spent with you, because he knows it’s painfully finite. He is also very good about truly focusing on you and not getting distracted by other things; phones and social media aren’t going to be distracting him while he’s with you. Any moments he gets with you will be just you and him (which is why he tends to get so jealous when it comes to other people taking up your time, especially if the two of you already had plans or could potentially make plans together). He very much tends to keep to himself, a lone drifter, and is generally fine with being on his own… So finding someone that he wants to be around so often is rare for him.

Physical touch is also very important to him since he isn’t the most talkative. Not that he can’t verbally express his love - he’s definitely not shy about declaring his affections - but touch just comes a bit more naturally as a way to really express his adoration for you. It seems he always seems to be touching you in some way or another. Hugs and kisses aside, he seems to always be casually and subtly touching you: an arm around your shoulder, legs touching when you sit next to each other, always reaching out for your hand. If you ever get a bit overwhelmed, just say the word, and he’ll back off.

Jeremiah is overall very supportive. He is aware, to some extent, of the relationship Xavier had with the you of Philos, the you of a different time and planet yet still so very much you. He knows how much Xavier struggled with leaving that you behind in order to set out on their mission through the deepspace tunnel; while your lover isn’t the most expressive, he was particularly sullen and withdrawn after departing from Philos… Until he met you in Linkon. Since then, Xavier really seemed to perk up, like a wilted flower that was finally given water and sunlight. He’s warmer now, always looking forward to the next time he sees you. Jeremiah is happy for you two, and truly hopes for the best… Though he can’t help but wonder if Xavier will ever attempt to return to Philos, or if he will remain here, on Earth, with you.

Tara is more your friend than Xavier’s, but she is familiar with both of you considering you all work at the same place and you often run into each other. Xavier is often in and out of the office, but you’re there consistently and she likes to come by on her breaks to chat with you when you’re not especially busy. She thinks you two make an absolutely adorable couple, especially since you both are on the sweeter and milder side. Besides, you two just look so cute together! Your appearances and styles very much compliment each other. Definitely loves hearing about any big updates in your love life, or even if you feel the need to gush (or vent) about your boyfriend. Tara s a little jealous about your relationship, but she is happy that you found someone good for you.

As seen at various points in game, Xavier very easily gets jealous. He gets jealous if you’re too friendly with neighbors or coworkers, jealous of anyone who shows interest in you, jealous of people and things that draw your attention away from him too long, jealous of his own alter ego if you speak of Lumière too fondly. It probably isn’t a daily occurrence (though there may be periods of time where he does get jealous every day, if someone he dislikes is hanging around you on a regular basis), but it happens regularly enough that you will gradually learn how to handle his jealousy.

Xavier is a big sulker. Thankfully, he isn’t the type to lash out or get upset with you specifically, even if he becomes moody. He logically knows his jealousy is his own problem and it isn’t your fault, but he’s still going to pout around you and might give you the cold shoulder just a little bit until his moodiness subsides. It can be a bit exasperating for you, but you can’t help but give this loving, endeared sigh as you pamper and spoil him with attention and affection. “How many times do I have to tell you that I only have eyes for you?” you ask him on a regular basis, making him look at you as you cup his face in your hands.

Cheekily, Xavier murmurs: “I want to hear it every day.”

Zayne is most likely to have a crush on you. It developed over time, with you working at Akso Hospital every so often on the weekend. You’re just so sweet and friendly, and you never shy away from interacting with him while so many others are too intimidated to chat with him. It’s very refreshing, and he finds you to be a kindred spirit in many ways. The two of you often share your latest favorite healthy recipes, or good restaurants that might suit the other’s tastes. There are a few times when you two make plans to grab a quick lunch when you’re on break.

You view your relationship with Zayne to be purely platonic; Zayne, meanwhile, has a great poker face, and you don’t know that he has feelings for you until he asks you if you’re seeing anyone. You’re a bit surprised, but you quickly let him know that you are in a relationship with someone already. Gentleman that he is, he takes the news very gracefully and tells you not to worry about his inquiry.

As mentioned above, Xavier is a very jealous person. Needless to say, he does not react very well when he finds out about Zayne’s crush on you. Even before you discover that Zayne has feelings for you, your boyfriend already figured it out - or at the very least, it was a serious possibility that he was considering. Frankly, he’s just pouting because you make the occasional plan to go out to eat with your (handsome, male, single) coworker for a brief lunch instead of with him (even if he’s sometimes busy with his own Hunter work). He knows he can’t just ask you to not hang out with coworkers you get along with, nor can he ask you to not work part-time at the hospital; you love helping out there and making a difference, and he can see how important it is to you. He does make his complaints known to you, though, and he explains that he’s worried that Zayne has the wrong idea about your get-togethers.

You have to reassure him in the moment, but you also don’t want to make your partner uncomfortable. When you eventually learn that Zayne does, in fact, have feelings for you, you make sure to keep a respectful emotional distance with him. You’re thankful that Zayne is very respectful about the entire situation as well. The two of you are still on friendly terms, and you still chat with each other when at the hospital - you just don’t do anything that might flare Xavier’s jealousy too badly.

Rafayel absolutely adores cuddles like any other affection you give him. Especially he loves face-to-face hugs and cuddles, so he can look into your beautiful eyes, showering your pretty face with kisses now and then. His hugs are gentle, as if you made of glass, but also tight, as if he's afraid of loosing you. Playful too. Rafayel likes to scare you by the sudden embracement, that often catch you off the guard. Even though Rafayel is more reserved in public, because he finds the hugs you share too intimate to show others, he won't hesitate to hug you if he'd like though, but when it's just you two, he turns into a koala who clings to you and refuses to let you go.

Mistletoe — Kisses headcanons. What kisses do they like to give? What kisses do they like to recieve?

Rafayel gives you the softest, but also the most passionate kisses. His lips are very soft and full, it feels so nice on yours that you cannot get enough. Rafayel loves to kiss your lips the most, cupping your face in his hands, be it the long and thoughtful kisses, filled with love, or short and playful ones. But he also likes kiss your hand playfully or give you gentle forehead and elbow kisses, when he feels too overwhelmed by the love he has for you.

When it comes to receiving, Rafayel melts every time you kiss his moles, especially since he has a lot. Even though your kisses are more playful, it's always full of love. The way you shower his face with kisses, leaves Rafayel in an absolute mess, but still wanting for more.

Marigold — Do they like it when you play with their hair? Do they like to play with your hair too?

Loves, loves, loves your hair! Rafayel supports you whenever you dye your hair in a new color, but he still loves your natural color the most. This's you after all, and you're perfect the way you are. Especially Rafayel likes when your hair grows back, so he can braid it. He finds this so intimate to braid your hair. Sometimes he twines flowers or beautiful hairpins made of shells and pearls in your hair. And be sure, his taste is amazing, so it's never pretentious and always suits you. Rafayel also enjoys helping you to dry your hair or play with your hair, running his fingers over your strands, while the two of you are cuddling.

You playing with his hair is the best way to calm Rafayel down, whenever he gets moody or feels tired. Even though he doesn't like cats, he has a lot in common with these cute creatures. He almost purrs, while you're playing with his hair. And if you stop doing this to tease him or just to check your phone out, Rafayel puts your hand on his head again, silently asking for affection. He just feels too good and relaxed to say something. But if you keep ignoring him, Rafayel starts whining and complaining, until you give up.

Poppy — How do they sleep with you? What's it like to share a bed with them?

His sleep schedule is awful because he often spends the nights by painting and sleeps just when he has time for this. But now you're with him, so his sleep schedule slowly started getting better. The favorite part of his day is the time when the two of you begin to get ready for bed. Firstly, the two of you take a bath together, helping each other with skincare routine, and then go to bed. Rafayel loves to cuddle you, lying face-to-face, because he wants you to be the last thing he sees before he falls asleep and the first thing he sees when he opens his eyes. Rafayel always falls asleep after you, because he just can't stop himself from admiring your features. Your sleeping face is so precious, even if you're drooling or talking in your sleep, it's just so cute to Rafayel. He gently brushes your hair back over your ear, kisses your face and whispers to you sweet nothing. On these nights Rafayel feels that everything that has happened between you two was just a beautiful dream. And if he closes his eyes now, you'll disappear. On these nights when he's scared too much, Rafayel draws something. But if he finally falls asleep, Rafayel tends to hold you too tight. Sometimes you roll into him though and end up sleeping on the top of him, because Rafayel caught you.

Hydrangea — Dates headcanons. What kind of dates would they take you on? What is their favorite type of dates?

Beach dates. Rafayel truly loves spending time at the beach, especially when you're with him. He doesn't like too crowded places, when it comes to beach, preferring to be with you only. There are a lot of things you can do together! If the two of you have more playful mood, you goof around, playing in the water, building sandcastles and bickering whose is best after, drawing something in the sand and getting upset if the waves wash it out. But if you spend date night on the beach, it's much more romantic. The two of you walk on the beach, stealing kisses from each other time and again. Rafayel holds your hand, interlacing your fingers, and softly whispers you the old stories about Lemuria, sometimes it's funny ones, sometimes he opens his heart and shares with you the things that left the deep wounds in his soul. Rafayel ends up holding you after this, just to feel that you're here, with him, and you won't disappear again.

Lazy home dates. Rafayel spends a lot of time at home, since his painting studio is there too. There are a lot of things you can do without leaving home, whenever the two of you feel too lazy to do something. Painting together. Rafayel is more than happy that you enjoy painting. He finds it so romantic, when he holds your hand gently, guiding the bush in your hand. He definitely would like to do collaboration. And be sure that it absolutely doesn't matter what the two of you create, this will make a big splash. Taking a bath together. If Rafayel doesn't paint something, he takes a bath. And if you join him, he is over the moon. It's bubble bath salt, scented candles and the two of you, relaxing together. Rafayel loves helping you to wash your hair and would like you to help him too, because he finds this so intimate. He'd sing you softly, while he gently washes your hair to help you to relax after a hard day.

Traveling together. Since the two of you like traveling and adventures, you go looking for adventures, the new colors and inspiration for Rafayel's paintings very often, leaving all duties to crying Thomas. Rafayel is usually very hyped and positive at the start of your journey. But be careful, because he tends to get moody, whenever he's tired or feels unwell. Be patient with him, and Rafayel returns to normal pretty quickly. And if you feel unwell, he always stays positive and does his best to cheer you up, since your happiness is his priority. It's very fun to travel with Rafayel. He has been to many places and knows a lot, so Rafayel shows you a lot of new and beautiful things that only he knows.

I finally got to take aba into tower and did better than expected. I went about even with a slayer in 10F, got demoted by an asuka, and then in 9f I went slightly better than even with a faust, anji and a chipp and got promoted again. most of these guys were temporarily embarrassed celestials, so I'm pretty happy with that performance. I was honestly expecting to immediately get spiked down to like, 8F for a week or two like I did when I picked up gio or elphelt

I really gotta figure out what I'm supposed to be doing against zoners, it feels like there's certain ranges where I'm not sure what normal mode aba can do to contest just yet, and against characters like asuka who can hit full screen there's not really a lot of room to transform and get things started that way. I think there's gotta be buttons I'm not using or math I'm not understanding, but it's also possible that she just dies. a lot of players seem to think she's really good as a counterpick and really bad as a main for these kinds of reasons, but those opinions also come from like, month 1 of her release, so I tend to think that kind of thing is hyperbolic. there's definitely stuff I'm not fully understanding or utilizing

the other thing is that I haven't really built up a sense for how to adapt with her in general. with gio I had like 600 hours of familiarity to fall back on when constructing counterplay mid match, but as aba it still feels like once I stop being able to knowledge check over her stupid normal mode frame data, I start to struggle. I suppose when I have multiple hundreds of hours with her and fully understand her kit I'll be able to catch up. normal stuff.

I'm also getting held back a bit in jealousy mode by my gio habits. dog can't jump but aba's air buttons are dumb as shit so I can contest a lot of jumpy characters directly instead of trying to anti-air or punish landing lag. I gotta remember her 2s buttons also. those things are absurd.

and of course there's a lot of stuff I'm still trying to work into the kit. the f.shiki, normal mode safejumps, better tension and jealously management. refreshing jealousy on the wall feels really good when it works, but I still need to get a sense for how her moves interact with wall health
