this valentines day, let's talk about how romantic love is essentially used to manipulate and brainwash society. whether you are reading a book or consuming a media, it is impossible to escape!! not only that, but notice how often a morally grey/black character is redeemed because 'at least they can fall in love' or 'oh, this character murdered a bunch of people. who cares? they did it for love 😍😍.' doesn't this just imply that aromantic people are worse than literal murderers because we can't fall in love?! we are worse than the scummiest people of the planet because we can't fall in love?! how cruel of this world to treat us this way! it's almost as if this world doesn't even want us to exist! it took me literal years to realize that im aroace and all this while i truly just felt as if there was something wrong with me! if you are aro, you are not broken! you have every right to exist. don't let society tell you otherwise!

Since I might not finish my Valentine’s Day good omens art on time, I’ll share a headcannon.

Crowley, before becoming a retired demon, would buy a box of heart shaped chocolates on Valentine’s Day for “keeping up appearances” and such. “Promoting a tedious corporate holiday that exacerbates loneliness.” Very demonic of him, indeed. Of course, Crowley doesn’t actually quite care about chocolates so, every year, he delivers the box to Aziraphale (because it would be “a shame to waste a perfectly good box of chocolates. Obviously.”)

And if he does it after he no longer has to keep up appearances, well…It’s habit. And Aziraphale certainly isn’t complaining.

hey friends in my phone <3 just an update on the break situation: i will stay offline but i wanted to update that i am indeed alright. i have exams coming up so i might actually be on hiatus for a longer time but i hope everyone is doing alright! whats crazy is that even when im offline due to internet exhaustion or whatever i still log into my silly game every day to see my lovely bf. i might be beyond saving (meant in a lighthearted silly way. i love luke.)
