I didn't reference Scar's s10 skin and I just guessed at the colors and shit :( Also I swear the anatomy looks strange somehow someway but it was a doodle so ig I'll give myself a pass.

This is literally the majority of the questions but I’m really curious so!!

1. - How would you describe your style? cartoony nonsensical and--not to be pretentious--whimsical.

2. What’s your favorite thing about your style? - I like being able to effectively make weird stuff!

3. What’s your least favorite thing about your style? - Making real things is... not my strong suit. That’s the thing about honing skills in imagination stuff, when you want to do realistic things you don’t have the same skills built up.

4. Favorite thing to draw? - Random shapes into scenes and Creatures. 

5. Least favorite thing to draw - perspectives and human feet. 

6. Warm colors or cold colors - Oh that’s hard. For real life I’d say cold but for drawing I think I like using warm colors better. 

7. Show us a WIP -

8 - What is the most/least fun part of your process? - Most fun is right after I had an idea and am working properly on it or when I’m coloring up layer by layer. Least is defiantly shading/clothe textures. Devil truly is in the details.

9. - Show us a finished piece alongside the original sketch - Here’s Thia’s musical one just because they’re the ones whose I have sketches saved close by.

12. Show us an old drawing - hooo boy. lemme look for one

here’s V1P-3r from about 4 years ago? (holy fuck time..) There’s a meaning for her name but I forgot. Something like: Vanessa, 1st of something starting with P, 3rd regiment). She’s a spy. I’m actually still really proud of the shading on this one.

21. Something you’d like to improve on - Memory and spelling. talking with the rest of us.

22. What inspires you? - weird but not bad feelings. Combinations. Inverting. Subversion. Music a lot as well. Words that get suck in my head.

23. What’s something you hope people notice when looking at your art? - Different for each art piece. I usually had some kind of especially detailed part I hope people appreciate. If it’s original, then the way I design my creatures. It’s the most fun part,

I tried a new rendering and lineart style with this, and I think it turned out really well!! This piece sort of flashbanged my brain and I just HAD to do it. I'm not super big on the final versions background and lighting but it's alright.

Also this is to showcase my Wildlife Grian designnnn. The actual design won't have the Watcher features, but everything else is abt the same. I took inspiration from casino dealers with his outfit, what with the dress shirt and bow tie and slacks, but I made the vest a sweater vest to give it that element of the original Grian. Also its really hard to see but the bow middle is meant to look a bit like an eye and a poker chip.

New Scar skins!! I got this out a bit late so I can say for sure that Scar is not the feral wounded animal type on red at the moment, but I think it'd be cool anyway.

Wild Life Lizzie concept art !!

I tried a new painting style on the left, I'm not a fan but I think it turned out right considering there was not a single sketch done in this entire image cksjd

Also it kind of served as a rough draft for my Wild Life Lizzie design; (Mostly) finalised lizzie in my regular style is in the bottom left corner! I made lizzie a bird bc I saw someone make a reference to her as the new 'canary' and her session 1 thumbnail was her as a bird. (Even the wings are shaped like half hearts)

Little low effort Limited Life Scott doodles

Pirate captain's jacket he stole from God knows where. I like LimLife Martyn and Scott as a siren/pirate type duo. Also the image is more of a rough draft but I like to think his jacket is very expensive looking like a pirate captain's, because he isn't actually a siren but I like the allusion to how sirens were said to kill sailors and sink ships.

Simple epaulettes that double as armour. I like to think that if the players try hard enough they can make a full armor piece into anything, kind of how irl you can mod things to make armour look cooler.

Kelp wrapping, cetacean hybrid features instead of fish. The kelp wrapping is just because of the siren thing and a very very subtle reference to the stripes on his shirt in the og skin . Also he's like a dolphin or smth instead of a fish because the way the flukes (fins) on mermaid tails are arranged is actually how cetacean tails are (one fluke on each side) and not how fish tails are (one on top one on the bottom)

Rusty hinge, Heart locket, heart gem, Pocket watch. I really like the idea that every player in Limited Life had some sort of pocket watch type device to show their hours remaining. Oh dude I should make the little points on the clock hands hearts. Scott's watch is in a big fancy locket with a massive gem on it both as a way to show how much time he's on (the gem changes colors) but also to allude to the pirate thing with treasure and gems and such. Also its rusty because he's always around water.

Also extra thoughts on drawing Scott in general cause this is my first time drawing him ever. I wanted to draw him rounder because it fits hit personality in terms of shape language because he's a very friendly, social person does well not because he's really good at pvp but because he knows how to play the other players.
