💖 Day 3.5 is now available! 💖

For the last couple of months, only Server Boosters had access to the 3.5 update... Buuuuut now it's available for everyone to play in the 14DWY Discord — and soon itch.io once I'm happy with the QA and state of the game — so please don't feel pressured to join unless you want to!!

What's been added to the 3.5 version?

📺 Streamer Mode!

I've been told that it's difficult to stream and monetise age-restricted videos on YouTube and Twitch, so I added an option to remove the sexual content and strong language used in the demo.

Now y'all can invite Ren into your bed for cuddles without putting your streamer career on the line /silly /lh

This won't affect the 18+ rating or dark themes/elements of the game, however! Although Streamer Mode will prevent you from seeing any "gruesome" CGs in the future, most of the core elements of the game will still be tied to the choices and decisions you make. So you won't miss out on the overall experience by using streamer mode!!

⚙️ Custom Pronouns!

It only took me one entire year to get around to it, but you can finally choose your own preferred pronouns (or use a set of pronouns instead)... At the cost of being able to change them mid-game ^^;

Since the original pronoun screen wouldn't update until a new scene was displayed, I temporarily disabled the feature. But once I find a workaround, I'll bring it back!

💗 Choose how others perceive you!

You can now choose how the cast and narration perceive you! Originally, the narration was kept strictly gender-neutral (outside of pronouns and genitalia picked by the player), but this will soon change in future updates.

For more clarity: you don't get to choose the words specifically, but you can choose between masculine, feminine, and androgynous terms!

📋 Separate top and bottom genitalia!

You can now choose your tatas and pps separately! >:3

Alongside that, you can also choose your preferred body type!

I removed the "both" genitalia option because a few players still assumed it was an obscure version of "intersex". That wasn't my intention and I don't want to mislead anyone, so I took it out for now ^^;

I also didn't want to include a screenshot of the new genitalia choices in action (because it's NSFW), so y'all get the same character menu screen for the nth time instead lmao

📱 Relationship Screen Overhaul!

You can now change your own status for more immersion, and long-term Server Boosters will eventually be able to submit and use their own icon within the game as well!

Stalking finding your friends has now become easier by using "Buddy Maps"; a new app that allows you to see the location of all the cast members!

I want to offer players more incentive to check the relationship screen since they tend to miss the status updates, so hopefully this might help ;v;

It also says it "updates every few hours" so folks don't go overboard and check every 5 seconds to see where Ren is gdsghf (also keep in mind that he's a hacker lol)

🖤 Additional Scenes Update!

Day 2 received a brand new CG!!!!! Originally, I planned on only adding a few CGs sporadically throughout the game, but it didn't feel right to leave Day 2 so... empty... so I added a brand new CG to (hopefully) make things feel more balanced and natural!

If you decline Teo's offer on Day 3, Leon will now call and try to convince you to reconsider. However, players are still allowed to decline, and if they do, they'll reach a dead end.

After listening to feedback on itch, I changed some of the dialogue during Days 1-3 to make it seem more consistent! They're only small changes though, so it's honestly not worth looking for sdgjssga

🎶 Updated BGM and SFX!

I wanted to try out a different style of music to see if it fits the vibe of 14DWY more! The BGM features more acoustics to suit the "beachy" theme of Corland Bay, though I made a conscious effort to include piano elements as well to stay true to the original!!

I figured it'd be better to give players a live example before I make a poll (to see if they prefer the change or not) and publish it to Itch.

Some new SFX have also been added, though it's very minimal and honestly not that noticeable.

How to download and play the update?

(warning: clicking on the following links will open Discord!!) To download the Day 3.5 update, simply join the 14DWY Discord server, verify your age, and visit the "14dwy-updates" channel!

Alternatively, you can also wait until the update is publicly released on Itch to play it as well!! (It normally gets released shortly after a round of QA testing/getting feedback from the server, though I may release it earlier if I feel like it hehe ^^)

good-ending!kakashi and itachi need to have a little former traumatized geniuses cooking club where they get comfortable with making little "mistakes" and putting imperfect dishes on the table and improvising without needing to explain themselves like it's life or death

#the “former” is aspirational and v cute #probably sai and tenzo also join at some point #of course gai joins in occasionally because he's not to be outdone by his rival with cooking of all things #and also with these four it can get depressing quick #iruka is invited once as a courtesy when he shows up to work with one too many kitchen injuries lol #if there's one thing they're not the cooking club is not clumsy #... unfortunately he is quietly assigned a buddy any future attendances #usually itachi because itachi can put out fires very quickly #or sai because sai is (frustratingly) talented in the kitchen and doesn't feel he's missing out on practice #neji might also participate sometimes! he wasn't ever anbu but he probably needs the therapy-ness of it #he's not a huge group activities person but sai invites him and he's surprised by how low-key it is #he gets a little competitive with itachi lol #since itachi doesn't care about things like using all whole-grains or only organics or attempting to make a recipe vegan #he's very good at following directions don't get me wrong but he's not much of an experimenter unless he knows a dish super well #while neji just knows which replacements to use after doing it for so long #neji isn't super militant about it but he watches his diet to make sure it isn't imbalanced/overly protein heavy #and like itachi he doesn't care for strong tasting meat so he'll preferentially choose fish or plant proteins #this is what finally makes things more easy between the two of them! some of the others want to make a meat-heavy dish one time #but itachi isn't feeling it and neji shows him how to do a tofu alternative!#long tags #naruto #from the margins #hatake kakashi #uchiha itachi #hyuga neji #sai #yamato tenzo #umino iruka #omegaverse

I keep thinking of a Mobrei soulmate AU to the tune of the fic Polarity by Writeous specifically where you have a soulmark but the TRUE bond is that whenever you share blood with your soulmate, you travel back in time to a time they needed support as an invisible phantom that can only interact with them—and I'm just picturing the first time Reigen and Mob swap blood to confirm and Reigen getting yeeted back into a chaotic nursery room in the middle of the night, tiny ???% Mob floating above his crib crying and wailing as his things fly around him at high speeds and his parents watch helplessly from the doorway. And Reigen, who literally probably learned about his tiny soulmate like ten minutes ago, considering—sighs and just scoops the wailing baby Mob out of the air and holds him. And, since ???% is the one awake, he can see Reigen and is able to interact with him more before Mob calms back down and wakes back up. By then, Mob's parents (why do we never get their NAMES) have kinda scolded themselves for not helping their own child and being afraid of him, enough that this became a moment his soulmate needed to step in, and they come in to take back over—thus Reigen's first big change to Mob's life.

Reigen, however, had a very different experience with his soulmate and is incredibly reluctant to activate the bond after they've confirmed it—because while Mob and everyone else thinks it's platonic, Reigen, who has experienced far more soulmate visits than Mob has at that point, knows that it isn't. But of course, like fate always does, circumstances have them activating the bond far more than he'd like. He's there, afterwards, for every moment Mob needs him, like a delayed memory.

Because he still remembers every time Mob was there for him, even if he doesn't know it yet.

When I say Tsux's hair is derived from MegaMan.EXE's I'm really saying it was initially meant to have the exact same shape. Of course over time, Tsux's bangs grew extra strands. Out of my own curiosity, I edited this image to show you what could've been (or used to be).

To those who do this sort of thing regularly I have to commend you. This was SO much work to make cleanly.

Overall, Tsux is intended to have the same face and build (excluding leg thickness) as Hub. Also the reason the lower strands near Tsux's ponytail became "loose strands" is because my sister misinterpreted them when drawing her once and I chose to keep it like that.

Y'know, for some reason I was originally not going to try to mess with Jaheira/Rasaad smut until I got further along in Open Your Eyes, but I've been working on the next chapter outline and rotating them in my head a lot and got to feeling inspired. XD So here we go.

Rasaad’s eyes grow very dark when he makes love to her.

Even by the light of day, his eyes are the most striking thing about him, deep and black, glittering like gemstones. Onyx, Jaheira often thinks, recalling crystals she has plucked from caves deep in Faerun’s heart, crystals forged by time and pressure, steady and slow.

But when they are alone, when he is bared to her in both body and spirit, then the chaos and heat within him slips the bounds of his iron self-control. Then the onyx becomes obsidian, volcanic glass, gleaming with the light of a contained inferno.

And it thrills her in a way she cannot describe. Love, desire, yes - but also perhaps there is a part of her that thrives on taming a hurricane.

“Jaheira…” He groans out her name, a soft catch on the last syllable. He's stretched beneath her on the bed, looking up at her with those obsidian eyes. His hips arch up into her hungrily, and she meets and rolls with the motion, keeping his wrists pinned tight next to his head.

“So eager, monk,” she murmurs, her eyes narrowing teasingly. “Where is your patience?”

He strains his hands upward against her weight. “You drive me to distraction… to madness…” he growls throatily. “I feel how you want me as well…”

He is right, of course. Her pulse is thundering in her throat and between her legs as she straddles him and feels him stiff against the inside of her thigh. Yes, she wants him. He is safety and home and fierce heat, found at last after so much loss and loneliness. Though she teases him, he knows full well that he could have her for the taking if he wished. He lets her hold him back for the same reason she holds him - because to draw the moment to its breaking point makes it all the more satisfying when it… snaps…

“Shh…” she whispers. “Calm… just a little bit more…” She dips her head and kisses him and feels his teeth score along her lower lip, so eagerly does he tip his head up to meet hers. The soft whimper he makes into her mouth sends a shiver of pleasure down her spine.

“You torment me…” He rolls his head back, his eyes half-closed. His breath quickens as she moves her lips under his jaw, sucking at the pulse point there.

“Yes,” she agrees, and a wicked smile tugs at her lips. She releases one of his hands, slides her own between them, down, gripping him with a sudden swift stroke.

His eyes snap open, black pits now with the pupils blown wide. “Gods…” he breathes. “Jaheira… please…” His hips buck up sharply into her hand, thrusting along her palm, hungry, searching.

She lets the moment hang just a little longer, to listen to the way his breath drags in his throat with a low whine. Then she guides him - up, in, fitting their bodies together, the heat of him flowing into her.

“Take me, then,” she commands, and lets go of his wrist.

Suddenly all of him is moving at once, like a dog strained at the leash suddenly released. He growls, deep in his throat, and rolls sharply to push her beneath him, arching as he does so into a jolting thrust that jerks her a few inches up the bed. She cries out and wraps her arms around him, digging her fingertips into his back.

He does not stop, and she doesn’t want him to. The rhythm he sets is hungry and rough and she glories in it, a hawk riding the updrafts of his storm. Closing her eyes, she clings to him and surrenders to sensation blotting out everything else.

“Take me…” she whispers again, disjointedly, breathless. “Take-- Rasaad-- ahhh--”

“Jaheira… my sun…” His voice is muffled, his face buried in her shoulder. One of his arms cradles her hips; the other hand is buried in her hair, his fingertips tight on the back of her neck. “I love you… do not let me go…”

He’s moving faster now, pressing her down into the bed with weight and passion. There is no sense left of any restraint; they are both free and wild and for a moment she can think about nothing at all except the feeling of his skin and the pleasure boiling in her core. And when it breaks, it does so suddenly, rocking her from head to foot as she rides from one jolt to the next, crying out against his ear and riding up against him as if to somehow take him deeper, feel him more.

He moans, a soft ragged sound of desire, and then his movement shudders to an abrupt halt with one last, jolting thrust, and she feels his whole body twitch with the release. He is never loud, but she can feel the way he curls into her, the way his breath hitches and his hips rock, and then the slow relaxation, the muscles of his back unclenching under her fingers.

He lifts his head, his eyes meeting hers. His gaze is settled again, calm onyx, glowing rather than blazing. “Jaheira…” he whispers. Rolling his weight onto one elbow, he cups her cheek with his other palm.

“I’m here…” She moves one hand to stroke gently against the back of his head. “Howling hells… you complain that I tease you, and yet you make it so worth the waiting for…”

His face drops back into her shoulder and he laughs, low and warm. “I did not say you should stop…”

Kisaragi Tsuina (aka Tsuina-chan) is a japanese synth originating from 2ch. "Tsuina-chan originates from a popular "meme" character in the online Japanese anime community - Hinomoto Oniko. Oniko was created by denizens of 2chan in order to combat a particular Chinese ethnic slur against Japanese people by using that term and making it into a "cute anime girl." By doing so, they would "embrace" said term and make it useless as an insult" (from vocal synth wikia). tsuina is voiced by Kadowaki Mai, and illustrated by Oohenri Saki. tsuinas character birthday is feb 3. she was first released on 1 nov 2019 for voiceroid2, then pitagoe on 29 sep 2021, and then synthv studio on 26 nov 2021.
