One of the two Johto-Kanto champions, Lyra is best known for her bright and cheery down to earth attitude both on and off the battle field! She likes to travel ALOT you can find her in coffee shops in Kalos or surfing the waves in Alola or just about anywhere with her Fiancé, Silver by her side and never turns down a challenge to a good battle (even if she accidentally sweeps the other person’s team whoops) Her favorite drink is boba tea, her birthday is March 4th, she has a crippling gatcha AND otome addiction, and is 165 cm tall but that’s all for text no one is gonna read aaaaaa-

5Ds did me such a favor by choosing to canonize that psychics are just. A Thing. A Known Entity. We should all take advantage of this more. Y'all, in this world being able to talk to ghosts is just Not An Uncommon Thing, there are support groups and organizations and some of them can summon monsters into the physical world and some of them can just talk to them and some of them can predict the future, you've got people like Luna who can astral project and Akiza who can conjure plants IN THE SAME show. Let's get funky with it. Post-canon Yuya attending a support group for fledgling psychics. Bakura and Sartorius and Carly are all friends through a tarot enthusiasts' message board. Yuma passing off talking to Astral by telling everyone he can just speak to ghosts. Yusaku taking a u-quiz to see if he's actually magic or just really, really autistic.

ive gotta say ive gotten rly rly tired of the genre of post by trans men that goes "someone directed virulent transmisogyny at me today under the belief that i was a trans woman! but lol im a trans man! accidental ally!" like i dont actually think its funny that someone insisted you were a man in a way meant to be demeaning and threatening because they mistook you for a trans woman. im not sure why youre laughing.

Hullo to my fellow fandom creators.

How you guys doing? Good? Good.

I just wanted to drop you a little note to say I hope you’re all having fun out here. Because fun is what it’s all about, right? Fun and excitement and hobbies and interests and all that good stuff!

While I’ve been wandering about in my little corner here at tumblr dot com, I gotta tell you, it can be so easy to get discouraged sometimes. Like SO easy. And I dunno folks, I guess I just wanted to remind you (and me!) that when we create stuff for our fandoms, it’s for fun! Because we love it! Because we love making it! We love sharing it! We love the source material and the characters and the world-building and all that other neat stuff!

Sometimes we all need a little reminder, I find. Because sometimes people don’t like what we’re making. Sometimes they’ll be rude or complain and make demands about how fandom "cOnTeNt” (yuck) should be made (double yuck) and act kind of entitled about it. And idk, that gets kind of disheartening. Especially when you’re pouring all your heart and soul into what you’re making, simply for the love of it.

So! Yeah I just wanted to check in with you folks because I’m seeing a lot of that weird entitlement in various fandoms lately, and from one creator to another, I wanted to just say -if I may wax poetic for a moment here- nuts to those people. Nuts to ‘em. NUTS, I TELL YOU.

Not everyone is going to like the stuff you make, and that's okay. The important thing is to remember that their opinions have nothing to do with you or me or anyone else making art or fics or edits or whatever our little hearts desire. Just because what you're making doesn't tick someone else's personal boxes doesn't mean that what you're making is wrong or bad!

If people want specific stuff in fandom, they can make it. If they don’t like what we’re making, they can move on - that's fine. If they want to publicly whine about it and try to make it everyone else's problem, that's their baggage and we don't have to take any of that on board. It’s no reflection on you if someone wants to demand that their own specific tastes be met, rather than actually taking part in the community in a positive way. Because we’re here for fun, aren’t we.

Are you having fun? Good. That’s all that matters.

Rey, who is in my very biased opinion, one of the funniest "girls" I have because she's just a guy, truly. Like Rey is just short for Reynold because he was recruited by a a goddess to help the hero she selected and the hero is conveniently Reynold's younger brother. So he agrees to help under the condition that the goddess gives him a female body for the other world. She's like "really odd flex but whatever" and gives him a female form and he's like "you know. I can't really blame anyone but myself for not specifying 'please don't turn me into a Lisa Frank personification'."

“Visenya?” Rhaenyra questions delicately, tears sliding down her cheek, already knowing the answer. The fluorescent lights are too artificial to be heaven-like, the loud beeping sounds of the hospital monitors ring in her ear, echoing the beat of her heart, that’s still pulsing with life. 

“No, I- I’m sorry, Rhaenyra.” The sweet voice echoes back sadly, albeit genuine. She sighs, shaking her head slowly from side to side, small sterling silver spider earrings adorning her ears. “It’s me, your sister.” She gently grabs Rhaenyra’s hands, contouring her nail-bitten, chipped-polished ones around her almost skeletal, stiff ones. Rhaenyra almost gasps at how warm her skin feels, her heat smoldering her own cold, almost lifeless skin. 

“Helaena,” Rhaenyra says, shivering, goosebumps rising along her spine, under the thin material of the hospital gown. Her belly fills with an unbidden heat, beginning to blaze even brighter when Helaena traces her fingertips over the bandages encircled around her wrists like manacles. But strangely it feels comforting, her sister’s feather light touch, a lovely kindness, unburdening the weight of all the turmoil, grief, the loss she’s felt for what feels like an eternity.

I don't often share my VRChat goof-offs here, but this was such a wild moment. My brothers got me a VR headset for my birthday, and I wasn't sure if Tsux was going to fit the limited specifications. But once we got things linked together she was working perfectly.
