Mormons!!?!?
https://www.rawstory.com/news/kamala-harris-mormons/
A group of Kamala Harris supporters convened in a virtual call Tuesday evening. It was an eclectic mix with attorneys, lawmakers, podcasters, singers and a mayor. There were, certainly, Democrats on the speaker lists, but also Republicans who have decided to step away from their party’s ticket this year.
What connected all of them? Their Latter-day Saint faith.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints may be a substantial force in presidential outcomes in deeply red Utah and battleground Arizona, according to speakers, including Mayor of Mesa, Arizona, John Giles, who is Republican, but is a vocal Harris supporter; former Democratic U.S. representative from Utah Ben McAdams; and Salt Lake City Democratic legislators Sen. Luz Escamilla and Rep. Brian King, the latter also being the Democratic gubernatorial nominee in Utah.
Data shows that Latter-day Saints are poised to support Harris “more than any other presidential Democratic ticket in 60 years,” said Jacob Rugh, an associate professor in the Department of Sociology at church-run Brigham Young University, during the call. He cited his research and past races that have moved the needle left in Utah and Maricopa County in Arizona.
“My geospatial analysis shows that areas heavy with LDS chapels in the east valley were most likely to flip blue (in 2020),” Rugh said on Tuesday. Nationwide, in 2020, 1 in 3 Latter-day Saint voters picked the Biden-Harris ticket, and the majority of the faith’s millennial and Gen Z voters chose the Democratic ticket, according to Rugh.
The 2020 Biden-Harris ticket performance in Utah “was the best of any Democratic ticket since 1964. Salt Lake County flipped blue in 2016 and, in 2020, voters did what others said was impossible by flipping four precincts blue in Provo,” Rugh said. He predicts they “will flip even more in 2024.”
There are 2.1 million members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah, according to data from the church. It’s the most prominent faith in Utah, which has historically voted red. There are also more than 442,800 members in Arizona.
About 1,400 people tuned into Tuesday’s call, a first from a group called Latter-day Saints for Harris-Walz, which on its social media boasted of as many as 2,600 registrants. The event came the same day Harris announced she had picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate.
The remarks from presenters, mostly from Utah and Arizona, were preceded by a prayer. Speakers also cited scripture as they spoke about the character of the Republican presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump, and to explain why, in their view, the most Latter-day Saint-aligned candidate is Harris.
Mostly, it was a discussion on how to organize to elect Harris. After all, Rob Taber, an organizer said, Latter-day Saints “from missions and ministering, (are) pretty good at reaching out to people and building bridges.”
However, Taber also advised those on the call not to use ward or stake membership lists when reaching out to people because that violates the church’s neutrality policy.
“But you can share on social media how you’re feeling. This actually does make a big difference,” Taber said.
‘Examine the character’
Ask Mesa Mayor John Giles why he decided to support a Democratic candidate and he may cite the arguments he made in an op-ed he wrote in Arizona Central criticizing Trump’s refusal to accept the outcome of the 2020 election and his disinvestment in cities like Mesa, and where he called on other Arizona Republicans to choose “country over party this election.”
But, he may also mention an admonition he heard at a Latter-day Saint church meeting that encouraged members to be good citizens, to participate in elections and to “examine the character of the candidates.”
“Man, I sincerely hope that we get that admonition this election season, because I think that would help our brothers and sisters to look with fresh eyes at this election,” Giles said on Tuesday.
Giles also cited the church’s stance on defending the U.S. Constitution and how different that perspective is from Trump’s view, he said.
Trump is “more than willing to compromise the rule of law and the United States Constitution to further his own gains,” Giles said. “I think that we have a particular mission as Latter-day Saints to step up and point those things out to our friends inside the church and outside as well.”
Some of the attendees, such as McAdams, said they vote Democrat “not in spite of our religion, but because of our religion,” arguing that “negativity, divisiveness, rage, political violence, discrimination and racism are not of God.”
Utah Senate Minority Leader Luz Escamilla said that, as she was preparing to teach Sunday School, it was clear to her that Trump may not be aligned with Latter-day Saint doctrine. She quoted Elder Dallin H. Oaks, first counselor in the church’s First Presidency.
“He said ‘knowing that we are all children of God, give us a divine vision of the worth of all others and the will and ability to rise above prejudice and racism.’ The current candidate for the Republican Party is literally working tirelessly to create prejudice and racism against Americans,” Escamilla said. “And that alone is a reason why all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints should be supporting Vice President Harris for President of the United States in the 2024 election cycle.”
Utah gubernatorial candidate Rep. Brian King also praised Harris’ running mate, arguing that Walz fits into the model he likes to see in the country’s candidates and elected officials.
“He’s the kind of candidate that leaders of our faith have called for us to support, a person of integrity, compassion, with a commitment to service,” King said. “I’m so glad that Vice President Harris has revealed her own personality so clearly in her choice of running mate.”

TLOU WORLD 2023
SILVER LAKE, COLORADO TO SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – A FEW WEEKS LATER…
The cool breeze of the evening brushes against your face as you sit on the porch of the farmhouse, strumming the strings of the guitar Joel now treasures. The people of Jackson have embraced you warmly, welcoming you back into their community. The topic of the Fireflies remains unspoken, a shared understanding between you and Joel. It lingers in the background, a memory that only surfaces when necessary.
Life in Jackson has brought a sense of normalcy, a semblance of the life you had before the chaos consumed the world. But this time, it's different. This time, you feel like you belong, like you are loved. The little family you've formed with Joel and Ellie has found solace within the walls of this farmhouse. As the seasons pass by, a routine settles in, and the farmhouse pulses with life, as if it has its own heartbeat.
The bugs begin to retreat once again, signaling the transition from summer to autumn. You find yourself on the porch, the guitar resting gently on your lap. It was a gift for Joel, a token of appreciation and love, but it also earned you a playful scolding. Joel made it clear that you should never leave Jackson without informing him first. It was a testament to his protectiveness, a reminder of the bond that has grown between you.
At this moment, the world seems so simple. The rush of blood through your veins transports you back to your youth, when fear and uncertainty were distant notions. Seventeen again, you find yourself unafraid of death, daring to dream once more. The curve of the valley before you holds a profound meaning. Happiness emanates from within as you gaze at the serene surroundings.
As the words echo in your mind, they bring a smile to your face. Joel's voice resounds in your memory, "I'll never let you go." Those five words hold a depth of emotion, a promise that transcends the hardships you've endured. In this tranquil moment, you realize that you have found a home, a place where love and safety intertwine. You are content, knowing that Joel is by your side, ready to face whatever challenges may come.
The future may hold uncertainties, but for now, you bask in the stillness, cherishing the connection that binds you and Joel together. The world may be broken, but within the embrace of this farmhouse, you have found solace, love, and a renewed sense of purpose. And as you continue to strum the guitar, the notes reverberate through the air, carrying the harmony of your newfound happiness into the world.
Lost in the nostalgic melody, you find yourself humming a tune that holds a special place in your heart. The tranquility of the moment is interrupted by the gentle reminder that you're wearing one of Joel's shirts, two sizes too big. It's a simple gesture, a symbol of the closeness you share, but it also serves as a reminder that nothing is certain in this world. Doubts linger, even as you begin to feel at home.
The passing year has been arduous, and its weight lingers in your mind. The slow progress makes you question if you're truly moving forward. Trust is a scarce commodity, earned by only a select few. The scars etched upon your bodies, remnants of battles fought in your youth, serve as a constant reminder of the dangers that persist. And yet, the revelation of a collapsing sun and rising seas, of crumbling buildings, brought about a new understanding of the fragility of existence.
As you continue strumming and humming, Joel stands by the door, captivated by the beauty that radiates from you. The sun begins its descent on the southern horizon, casting a warm glow on the scene. Unable to resist any longer, Joel quietly approaches, his footsteps barely audible. He wraps his arms around your waist, his presence causing you to giggle. His lips press against the side of your neck, the scruff of his chin tickling your skin.
"Joel!" you playfully chide, a mixture of surprise and delight in your voice. He responds with a hum, his voice filled with affection, "My sweet Birdie..."
You quickly place the guitar on the side, and in that tender moment, you realize that despite the uncertainties and doubts that surround you, you have found a sanctuary in each other. Joel's embrace offers a sense of security, a refuge from the storms that rage outside. You feel a rush of gratitude for the love you've found amidst the chaos, and a renewed determination to protect what you hold dear.
Basking in the warmth of Joel's affection, you turn your head to meet his gaze, curiosity tugging at your thoughts. "How was the patrol today?" you inquire, wanting to know about the world beyond the safety of Jackson's walls.
Joel plants gentle kisses on the side of your head, your cheek, and finally on your lips, his love conveyed through each tender touch. His gaze locks with yours, his southern accent subtly peeking through as he responds, "Today was good, darlin'. Nothin' for your pretty head to worry about."
A sense of relief washes over you, knowing that for at least one day, the dangers that loom outside haven't posed a threat. But your thoughts naturally drift to Ellie, the young woman who has become an integral part of your lives. You can't help but bring her up, knowing that Joel's bond with her is unbreakable.
"What about Ellie? How's she doing?" you ask, genuine concern lacing your words. Ellie's resilience and determination have become a source of inspiration, even amidst the darkest of times.
A soft smile tugs at the corners of Joel's lips as he replies, his voice filled with fondness, "Ellie's holdin' up. Been keepin' busy, learnin' new skills, and takin' care of herself. She's got that fire in her, just like you."
The mention of Ellie's fiery spirit brings a wave of admiration. You can't help but feel proud of her growth, of the strength she embodies. In this broken world, the relationships you've forged hold immense importance, anchoring you to hope and reminding you of the enduring power of love.
Nestling closer to Joel, you rest your head against his chest, the steady beat of his heart a soothing lullaby. "I'm glad she's finding her way," you murmur softly, your voice filled with genuine affection. "We're lucky to have her in our lives."
Joel's arms tighten around you, his voice brimming with tenderness as he responds, "Ain't that the truth, darlin'. We're blessed to have each other, and no matter what comes our way, we'll face it together."
Feeling a surge of love for Joel, you lift your head from his chest to meet his gaze. The twinkle in his eyes tells a story of unwavering devotion, and a mischievous grin plays upon his lips. You can't help but become enveloped in his warmth, finding solace in his presence.
"I don't tell you enough, Joel," you begin, your voice filled with sincerity, "but you mean the world to me. I love you.”
Joel's expression softens, his gaze locked with yours. He brushes a strand of hair away from your face, his touch gentle yet purposeful. "You know, darlin'," he replies, his voice slightly husky, "you mean the world to me too. There ain't a day that goes by where I don't thank my lucky stars for bringin' you into my life."
The vulnerability in Joel's words tugs at your heartstrings, and you lean in, pressing a tender kiss against his lips. It's a gentle affirmation of the love that binds you together, a silent promise of forever.
As you pull back, a playful glimmer dances in Joel's eyes. "You know," he says, a mischievous grin spreading across his face, "I reckon I'm the luckiest man alive. Not only do I have the most beautiful person by my side, but I've also got a hell of a good kisser."
His words elicit a giggle from you, the sound filling the air with pure joy. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you whisper, "Flattery will get you everywhere, Mr. Miller."
The two of you settle into a comfortable silence, relishing the closeness and the unspoken language of love that flows between you. With each passing moment, the world outside fades into insignificance, leaving only the warmth and tenderness of this intimate connection.
A gentle breeze rustles the leaves overhead, the delicate dance of foliage creating a symphony of nature. Your fingers entwined with Joel's, each touch a testament to the warmth and tenderness that envelops you in this serene moment.
In the ambient glow of the evening, the air pulses with an almost tangible affection. The space between you and Joel becomes a canvas painted with an unspoken promise that transcends the limitations of words. In the delicate interplay of shared vulnerabilities and profound love, you find a sanctuary where the concept of time fades, replaced by the eternal embrace of this connection.
In this fleeting instance, bathed in the gentle twilight, you take solace in the richness of your conversation. Despite the shadows that loom from past events and the uncertainties that await, the presence of Joel beside you becomes a steadfast beacon, guiding you through the dimly lit corridors of life.
The embrace continues, a dance of shared whispers and laughter, a rhythmic exchange that weaves together the tapestry of your lives. Amidst the harshness of the world, the cocoon of your love becomes a refuge, a source of strength, and a testament to the formidable power of unity.
Yet, beneath the surface of this idyllic scene, a quiet ache persists, a shadow that lingers in the corners of your consciousness. There are nights when Joel lies peacefully asleep beside you, unaware of the storm that rages within your mind. In those quiet hours, memories materialize, hazy and elusive, casting a spectral glow on the canvas of your thoughts.
You can see him on the porch, the soft strains of a guitar accompanying the melancholic melody of your recollections. The air is charged with the bittersweet echoes of a past that refuses to be forgotten. There are nights when tears silently trace the contours of your face, the weight of remembered endings pressing upon your heart.
Joel, the silent guardian at your side, remains oblivious to the tempest within. His presence is a comfort, but the specter of a different ending, an alternate narrative, leaves you restless in the quiet hours of the night. The story, once written in ink, now seems to bleed into the realm of what-ifs and what-could-have-beens.
And so, in the embrace of the night, you grapple with the dichotomy of love and loss, finding solace in the tangible warmth of Joel's presence, even as the ghosts of untold stories linger in the shadows.

Utah could see a winter surge of COVID-19, health officials warn - Published Sept 19, 2024
By Shaylee Navarro
After an “active COVID-19 summer,” health officials in Utah are recommending people renew their booster vaccinations — amid concerns of a winter surge of the virus that may affect the state.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show COVID-19 virus levels reached “very high” in Utah wastewaters since mid-July, with 10 sites reporting viral activity in the last 45 days. This time last year, Utah saw “moderate” levels.
“Many more people are having a milder illness when they get infected, but not everyone,” Dr. Andy Pavia, chief of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Utah Health and Primary Children’s Hospital, said Wednesday in a remote briefing to media outlets. “We have seen severe disease and even several deaths.”
Upticks in cases across the country and Utah first appeared in the spring from the XP.1, XP.2, KP.3.1.1, KP.1 and KP.2 variants of the coronavirus. But even as Utah sees a “downswing” in cases, health officials anticipate another increase sometime this winter.
A new variant, called XEC, will likely fuel the late-year surge. So far this year, 95 XEC cases have appeared in 12 states, including in New York and California, according to Outbreak.info, a data project managed by Scripps Research.
Across the Salt Lake Valley, Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax boosters are available at most pharmacies and clinics, said Kavish Choudhary, chief of the University of Utah Health Pharmacy, in the briefing.
The Utah Department of Health and Human Services will continue to supply free vaccines for those without insurance, Choudhary added. The U will only carry the Pfizer vaccine.
According to Choudhary, all available coronavirus vaccines are 90% to 95% effective
“If you’re interacting with most folks, people on the outside on a regular basis, … that’s the push for getting a shot,” Choudhary said.
While officials encourage continued coronavirus precautions, they also suggest keeping up with other respiratory illnesses heading into flu season. For the 2022-23 season, the CDC estimates 31 million people experienced flu symptoms, with 21,000 deaths as a result.
“Flu is still out there,” Pavia said. “It’s time to think about not just COVID vaccines, but flu vaccines.”
For those who cannot get vaccinated or who are at high risk of severe disease, Pavia recommends masking as an effective way to prevent infection.
“Wearing a mask indoors and in crowded places is wise,” Pavia said. “It’s not popular. We’ve all worn masks too much, and we’re tired of it, but it still offers very good protection.”

Brittney Spencer 👑🤠
Brittney Spencer (born September 8, 1988) is an American country singer–songwriter. Spencer received notable attention following a viral Twitter video showing Spencer singing a cover of a song by the Highwomen. The video drew praise from fellow country artists and prompted the release of her first extended play (EP) titled Compassion (2020). She has also released several singles, including 2021's "Sober & Skinny". Spencer has since performed on the Country Music Association Awards and has embarked on a world tour.
Spencer is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She developed an interest in music from singing in church. "Church, for me, was very cultural. It’s spiritual, but also very cultural. Families like mine, we couldn’t really afford singing lessons or anything like that, so I just sang in the church all the time," she told Baltimore magazine. She was raised as an African Methodist Episcopal. Spencer also came from a musical family. Her father was part of a quartet band. A friend from church got Spencer interested in The Chicks, which developed her interest in country music. From there, she developed interest in artists like Taylor Swift. She attended magnet schools in her teen years, including the George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology. During this time she learned to play guitar and piano. Spencer also took vocal lessons from a coach who taught her how to sing in a recording studio. She began by singing background vocals for R&B and gospel artists including Jason Nelson. In February 2013, Spencer moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue country music full-time.

Reyna Roberts 👑 🤠
Reyna Roberts is an American country singer-songwriter and pianist. She is known for her July 2020 debut single, "Stompin' Grounds" as well as multiple appearances on NFL's Monday Night Football.
One of the few visible Black women in country music, Roberts is known for advocating for "acknowledging the past" of country music, which includes acknowledging Black artist mentors such as Lesley Riddle, and learning the history of the banjo and the term "Music City" for Nashville.
Roberts was born in Alaska and raised in Alabama and California. Both of her parents were combat engineers in the Army. She was born two months premature, weighing two pounds; when her family heard that she might have cognitive, physical, visual and vocal developmental issues, they used music to aid her brain development.
The first time Roberts performed music was at the age of three, when her mother took her to a karaoke bar in Alaska. When she was 10 years old, her family lost their home but paid for a storage unit to store her piano so Roberts could continue practicing the instrument. She continued playing in the family storage unit for three years.
Throughout high school Roberts competed on her high school wrestling team, and she began songwriting to woo the captain of the team. She recorded the resulting song, "Lying to Myself," in 2014. In 2016, she released the EP "The Beginning," which included the song "I'm Coming For Ya" and went on the Spring High School Nation Tour. She toured around the U.S. and opened for the Plain White T's.

Settlements
Masterlist
This one is for the anon that asked about where Hound lived with his human partner, I swear I don't know what happened to your ask, I'm terribly sorry if I deleted it without knowing, hope this reaches you.
In the terraformer AU humans had a different approach to the cybertronians, some even more near to them, of course the hate is still present but dude, what happened to the people that tried to help this war displaced individuals?
In this AU, there is people that cares for them, not exactly in a romantic way like most of my works, but like friends and comrades because this metal guy saved our lives in the NY decepticon breach and he is somehow responsible? What is wrong with you???? They were coming one way or another, what part of organic free universe or slaved you didn't understand? Just side with the ones that want you alive for fucks sake.
Here are some of the most important settlements after the war (and some of their main products).
Metrotitan's Monument (former Autobot City)
One of the first Cybertronian's settlements in Earth, at least officially, was Metrotitan, the thirteenth's titan, Optimus' titan as to say before he was Starscream's, located in the border of Utah and Arizona, Monument Valley, but since humans were scared of the big autobots just imagine how out of their bodies they felt when Metrotitan was in root mode, so he got into his alt mode that was called Autobot city, at least the first one, before Metrotitan died by the hands of the enemy, finally free from the machinations and control of others.
You see, cybertronians call humans sentimental, maybe too much for their own good, and many humans that survived many raids inside of Metrotitan and his protection, giving them a roof and a safe place, before he was taken, they were quite fond of him, and no matter the reality, that's awesome, so you must feel how devastated they were when the titan falled in Cybertron and was destroyed by Unicron, away from where he took as his place in Earth, and the people who couldn't let him go started a new settlement where Metrotitan was once, to honor him and preserve his memory with the help of the autobots in Earth, calling it not Autobot city II but Metrotitan's Monument, the center of the settlement, now a blooming city for both races, has a statue of his spark that says "if you came to see his monument just look around" (I'll work more in this part because he didn't deserve ANYTHING of what they did to him).
A common say in this city is "May Metrotitan welcome you", it can be taken as a greeting or as a warning, because the humans believe the titan is still around them, in something they call spirit or saint or the city's patron that most bots still don't get the meaning of, and just catalog it as human sentimentalism.
Some of the things found in Metrotitan's Monument are based in human cuisine and fashion, called fusion cuisine.
Metroplex (New Iacon)
After the Unicron war he was a temporary cybertronian settlement located in the United States, mostly inhabited by cybertronians, once the original Cybertron returned from the black hole Metroplex took who wanted to come with him back to his place of origin, some humans went with him and the bots that lived in the city, creating the first human partial settlement in Cybertron.
Most of the population is still cybertronian, but humans have re started business in this city.
Metroplex settled in the ruins of Iacon, where the cityspeaker and leader of Cybertron, Windblade of Caminus, rules the planet with her council, during her leadership she gave work for cybertronians and humans, not giving special treatment for any side as works were given, the view of humans in special space suits was now an every day thing, humans started to live with cybertronians to handle with ease the change of places and the cost of living, something the humans called roommate, most berth rooms had a handmade atmospheric device to create the necessary air for the organics, some had a double seal door, one to enter and close to pressurize, the second to totally enter in the air filled room.
He is also the first city to create an atmosphere for the new inhabitants in his home planet (due to the obvious need), easing their burdens as they go in his circuitry to fix the heavy damage done during the war, even to this days humans and minis go into the most deep corners of the titan to perform repairs.
There are no new products apart from the good old almost forgotten cybertronian ones as the humans are still putting on the bases of this new settlement, but some houses are doing something called Sweet chips that are energon goodies with the form of, well, little and colorful memory chips, humans introduce the once forgotten in-the-way-rations that was forbidden during the time of Functionalism, humans call it street food.
Regalia (Botanica I)
In honor to the planet Regalis V, well know for the gigantic mega flora that can even be distilled and create a stable energon substitute.
This settlement is found in Agbogbloshie, Ghana, formerly know as the most poisoned and toxic place in Earth, the reason for this was to contain the cybertronian population in a place where they wouldn't be a eyesore (don't see don't mind), much like some governments did, like what happened in Brazil.
Far from this to be a real gentle gesture from humanity, it was still accepted, as the overall human, elonian, visionary and cybertronian (and the colonies) population were put in only one planet, the environment was in ruins and even a bad step could make something explode, life in there wasn't good.
That is, before some samples from Regalis V came with scientists for some tests, the mega plant samples took root in the toxic soil and nourished to completion, the first batch was trimmed and used to create the first gallon of energon substitute, which sold quickly and a new demand was made after the routine test was done with no anomalies.
A new market was done and while the toxic soil was supposed to last for thousands of thousands of years at least the living environment was better, and what the Throttlebots though was a corrosive residue of the distill process it was in reality water, which kick-started along with the now decontaminated soil the first crops, both industries give work and stable income to the region.
Regalia is also called Botanica I in honor to the nickname of the planet of origin of the massive plants that constructed the city business.
Apart from the base energon substitute, called Botanica's ember, two more consumables were made using it as main ingredient, being the first one the firework jellies (similar to human's pop rocks) and the well know Energex made (formerly) by the humans in the Lost Light that is still being made and distributed by Swerve's bars.
There are plans to do a new city with the same crops in other points in Earth and some colonies.
Atacama (Trypticon's domains/former Earth's embassy)
A settlement built around one of the last Titans alive, Trypticon came to Earth to protect the protoforms inside his hot spot, first choosing Mount Rushmore as a safe place to mentor them, later on changing his location to the Atacama desert which he deemed as safe and far enough from humans once he noticed the way some of them looked at his new sparks.
Trypticon wasn't willing to risk any harm to befall his now sparklings, the humans in the desert have show awe upon his arrival, obvious fear as he saw the most young try to approach him with curious eyes, then a warm welcome as his great size provided a new oasis no one knew was there before his weight broke the hardened surface of a once believed dry water eye, the people brought metals that his sparklings consumed like energon candy as gift for providing water for their crops and animals, Trypticon's gigantic EM field separated the salt from the water in a peculiar way (it was electrodialysis) and it took him a while to understand the locals (he didn't have their ancient language in his databank) before he could say he was there to stay for an indefinite time.
Some locals were happy with that answer and moved to live around him.
A settlement was made practically at his feet, he didn't mind once the now trusted humans started to work the land around him, making waterways and even guiding the sparklings inside the mines for something to add to their energon rations, which were running low as Trypticon had only so much to give and he was still one of the annex via space bridge to Cybertron, just imagine the shocked Cybertronians using his portal to end not in the United States but in a desert in the middle of nowhere with no base near.
Earth's embassy was moved again to Mount Rushmore in name because of the far location Trypticon took, every year there is a festival for the time new protoforms emerge from Trypticon, many come to see if they can mentor one, only if the great Titan let it be.
The settlement is very well know in the actuality for being a touristic center, mechs and other races come and go along and the main business in town is the gift boxes full with metals and other minerals (as a box of different types of chocolates and candy), they export the salt for different purposes around the world and the colonies.

Im gonna explode if i dont talk about this eventually so heres my delta green character okay be NICE :3
Her name is Jeeja Cheung (named after two Hong Kong movie stars! Jeeja Yanin and Leslie Cheung respectively), she was born in St. George, Utah on March 21st, 1978, to Chinese immigrants who followed the Dao. Their religion made them a target of frequent visits by missionaries sent by the church of latter day saints, and a young Jeeja immersed herself into her families beliefs further and further out of pride and spite from their harrasment. It didn't take long for her to run through what little her library had on the Dao or about other Chinese religions, and she found herself reading all kinds of books about other cultures religions and ways of life: The Norse, Irish, Egyptian, Shinto, Vietnamese, Navajo, Goshute, Buddhist, and Islamic texts were of special interest. She was utterly enthralled by all of these stories of gods and spirits, humans and forces beyond their ken, how these stories captured the magic of the world in a childs eye.
As she grew, she took to more occult interests. After she graduated high school she enrolled in Valley University with a major in Anthropology, but in her spare time she researched occult texts and symbolism trying to see if she could provoke a reaction from the other side. She never succeeded. In the Winter of 98' her group of friends and her decided to start an ametuer ghost hunting party which would investigate abandoned houses and hokey murder mysteries in the state, they would drive around in her 96' chevy caprice station wagon and talk the night away about the cases they were on. These outings are mostly recorded and some of the footage was even edited by her friend Cary Shou into shlocky home movies (Cary still ghost hunts to this day!) Jeeja still has some of the old equipment in her modern day apartment in Dublin as well.
Eventually, ghost hunting lost its calling, and as much as she tried her attempts to contact something supernatural never bore any fruit. With her PhD in Anthropology complete, she began her professional career as a freelance anthropologist, bouncing around the world looking into sites of interest and studying the way the legends she read as a child formed. The ways people think and act. At the age of 25 she had firm roots with an anthropology group in Ireland, and had even gotten herself a partner out there. Her station wagon has some cheesy Irish gift shop decorating it.
Because of her reputation in the anthropological world as being somewhat of a nut, but a nut who got her job done well once she got to it. She was hired by the FBI to take on a mysterious job in Death Valley in the Spring of 2005, and she would finally meet the forces she'd spent her whole life chasing
