At the same time, there are many institutions complicit and they make sure Palestinians don't have access to the financial resources to sustain themselves. PayPal is one of them. On October 7th, the crowdfunding platform has announced that they have shut down fundraising services. Those with an existing one will need to complete their goals by January 12th, 2025.

Iyad Sobhe (@iyadsgaza) and Ruba Abushahan (@rubashsblog) are raising funds with PayPal ever since GFM has either terminated their fundraiser or made them lose access. Iyad has lost 11K while Ruba can no longer withdraw the 27K They cannot afford to start all over when PayPal is their last resort. So we have less than 2 MONTHS to raise the entire amount of 60K. Please donate and share! Donations have slowed down significantly, resulting in 1 or 2 donations per day, when we should be raising $600!

Help a struggling trans couple make rent

Hey everyone there is no plainer way to put it, we need to make $1100 to make rent. I've been battling being sick for a week which lost me a ton of time at work and on top of everything hours are starting to dwindle as it is. I worked overtime for a month straight to try and get ahead but it barely kept us afloat for October. I hate to beg with everything going on but we simply cannot make rent+bills+owed back taxes without help. My minimum goal is $1100 to pay just the rent but ideally I hope to make $2500 to cover rent, bills and pay into those taxes.
