sukuna holds your body in his arms. your smile is soft as you stare up at him, your blood dripping onto the floor beneath you.

weakly, you caress his face, your thumb brushing underneath his second eye.

"do not cry, my king." you whisper softly, wiping a tear he did not know was there.

sukuna stares into your eyes and holds you dearly to his chest. he can feel your blood on his hands, feel it seep into his clothes and stain his skin.

sukuna cannot forgive himself.

he is the king of curses, the strongest creature that resides in this world. he has defeated all in his way, and yet, he was not able to protect the one thing he wanted to protect most.

sukuna seethes in anger and in grief.

he holds your face softly, removing stray hairs stuck onto your face. although you lay on your death bed, you remain calm and stare into his red eyes with love.

"i hope, in another life, you forgive me, my queen." sukuna says in a low tone as he rests his hand upon yours that caresses his face.

"i do not blame you, my love." you breathe out with one last smile.

sukuna feels your hand go limp in his, watches the life leave your eyes, and sees your cursed energy disappear from within you.

anger courses through his veins. greif and agony rip his heart to shreds.

he lays your body softly onto the floor and stares into your lifeless eyes before closing your eyelids shut.

sukuna cannot forgive himself.

and so he stands as your body lay limp at his feet. he let's his anger grow, let's it consume him. he let's the tears run down his face, let's the grief power him.

he will kill the one who killed his queen, and no one and nothing will stand in his way.
