Jack Hughes x reader
-a ficsmas fic-
(not proof read)
⋆❅⋆⍋⋆❅⋆ ⋆❅⋆⍋⋆❅⋆ ⋆❅⋆⍋⋆❅⋆ ⋆❅⋆⍋⋆❅⋆ ⋆❅⋆⍋⋆❅⋆
Jack likes to get pizza after a good game. Lately the Devils have been doing pretty decent, so Jack has been having cheat days
In fact Jack has been saying he’s done with the healthy life;
“I’m so done with those gross green smoothies.”
“so glad im not on that diet anymore.”
~
Tonight, the devils play the Canucks. If we lose we will get pizza, and if we win… we will get pizza. Tonight is a special night. It’s the Hughes brawl.
“Babe!” I yell for Jack. I’m making a green smoothie for him. Luke walks out of his room. “Ooo. Nice.” He laughs.
“Do you want one?” I offer.
“Hell yeah.” Luke takes the cup of green liquid that I set out for Jack. I really have no problem with it. I was going to make one for luke anyway.
“Jack!” Luke screams for him.
“I’m coming Lukey.” He barked back.
Luke, ironically loves the green smoothies, apparently they "cut the junk food out of his system."
“Try it. It’s sooo good.” Luke sips out again. He stumbles over a yoga block I was using for Pilates last night. “Oops. Sorry Luke.” I laugh.
“It’s alright.” Luke snarls. He sits in a recliner in the small living room. He turns the TV on. “Jack.”
“What.” Jack answered- in a ‘I’m annoyed’ kind of tone.
The Jersey house is always so chaotic. Luke always stretching and working out, or playing games on the living room set up. Jack doing whatever with Luke or causing trouble with me. I'm always in the room Jack and I share doing work. Sometimes late at night Luke screams in his room from playing Fortnite or watching a stupid play from the game before.
“Remember. Tonight Y/n and I are getting pizza.” Jack waves infront of Luke’s face. Motioning to see if Luke is listening.
“Yeah- alright- Jack! Jack! Move I can’t see the screen.” Luke moves his head to see the cartoon that’s playing. “Yeah I got it! You two lovers are gonna go on a pizza date! Now move!” Luke hits jacks hand out of his face.
“Okay bye Lukey.” Jack laughs. He grabs my cold hand and takes me upstairs to our room.
Tonight, I’m dropping the boys off at the rink, and I’ll be at home watching the live stream of the game. “I wish you could be there tonight.” Jack whines.
“I know. I know. I’m sorry bubs. I just have to much writing to do for the meeting tomorrow.”
I work for a large company in the PR field. Im in charge of sales tonight.
~
We're running a few minutes behind. Jack can't find his phone, Luke is in the car warming up and I'm calling Jack's phone to help my clumsy boyfriend find the stupid phone.
"Jack!" I yell from the door. Jack comes stroming down the stairs with a smile on his face.
He waves his hands up in the air. "Found it." he laughs. Jack runs out to the car and i zoom into the drivers seat.
~
Jack kisses me before jumping out of the car. Luke follows after, I wish them a goodluck and pop the back open for their gear, they set their bags off to the equipment manager and run inside.
~
I did lots of my speech, and collected data. I look up at the tv screen. Jack scored the 6th goal against Vancouver. 3rd period is about to end and I jump into the car again. Luke is hitching a ride from Curtis, apparently Lazar was going to take Luke home and make him babysit while Curtis and his wife go out- not that I have Curtis yeh idea.
-
“I’m so excited!!” Jack almost bursts out of his seat. The devils had an amazing win against the Canucks. Fortunately, this can make Jack really horny or really cuddly tonight.
Jack places his hands onto my thighs while I drive, Jack tells me directions to this new downtown place he never seen. “I don’t understand why we couldn’t just go to new York. It’s only 15 minutes away.” I whined.
“Because.” Jack responds. He plays with my hair and looks at me star struck. The starts shine in his eyes.
“Look of love huh.” I tease him a bit.
Jack blushed and halts his hands up. “Stop!” He screamed.
I look at him lol he’s crazy. “I wa showing to! It’s a stop sign.” I scoff. Annoyed but in love. I lower his hand and asked him to pony me to the next street.
“Park. We can walk. Please, it’ll be fun. Like one of your stupid rom-coms.” Jack smiled maliciously.
~
After parking in the street I double checked that my car was locked and nothing valuable was in sight. Jack grabbed my hand. It was so pretty out. The dark sky hover over us, but the street lamps shine a pathway for us- even better the stars above us made a beautiful view. We looked so happy and proud of eachother. The trees a little dead. Snow on the ground. The cobblestone sidewalk getting slippery and slippery up the hill we’re walking on.
“Right here.” Jack motioned his head to the right of us.
Of course, hack has the sidewalk rule down. He is on the left side if the right sidewalk and we’re walking at a slow place so I can browse at all of the trinkets the stores have for show.
We walk into the pizza shop and it immediately gets warm, and smells like garlic and cheese. “Holy pizza galore.” Jack laughs, he pulls my closer. I’m wearing low rider flared jeans, and a cute white sweater. Underneath I have a sexy lacy bralette and a black tank top to keep me warm. Jack has in his DREW hoodie and some grey sweatpants. I look cute, and he looks hobo-ish.
“Did you take-”
“Yes baby. I took a shower after the game.” Jack finished my sentence. He pulls out his wallet, “what do you want?” He points at the menu.
“Umm. Pepperoni duo with the fries and bacon.” I whisper in his ear. I feel like a fat baby when I order. That’s something Jack admired. He loves that I’m not scared to eat in front of him.
“Hey!” He starts up with the owner, “yeah uh I’d like two pepperoni pizza and the duo with the fries and bacon.” He hands the guy his card and pulls his wallet out to put his card away after.
My hand is on jacks back, “babe.” I said under my breath. Letting Jack know that he needs to tip.
“Right.” He whips his wallet out again. He slides in $20 into the tip jar and we wait for our order.
~
We walk around for a good spot to eat. Our pizza is blazing hot, and our loaded fries are bubbling form the cheese and bacon. “Here.” I stop. There are some benches at the coast.
“Look at NYC.” We stare at the beautiful city across from us. “Beautiful.” Jack replies and he smiles at me.
“How smooth.” I laugh and nudge Jack in the side. I kiss Jack on his warm lips. Jack pulls me into his lap. I sit in between his legs and my chest holds his food while mine are in my lap. We watch the stars and talk about life.
Jack puts his cold hands down my back to warm himself. My black tank top slides down as Jack slides his hands down my underclothes. “Oh” Jack mutters.
He lifts his chin up and kissed the top of my head. “How beautiful.” He mutters. He feels the Victoria secret bra o have on. “How beautifully done you are tonight.” He says in an old English accent.
I laugh and hold his other hand that isn’t in my shirt.
He picks me up and kisses me. I feel his tounge deep through my lips, his soft overgrown stubble scratching at me. I pull him closer. My arms wrapped around his neck, I’m on my tip toes as Jack pulls me up higher. Jack lifts me up all the way, he scoops under my ass. I hold in while Jack picks up our trash and walks over to the trash. My legs wrap around his torso. The stars illuminate above us, twinkling. Making this moment so special.
Just like the Rom-Coms we watch.
~
We danced for hours under the moon. Then of course Luke asked if we could pick up some Chinese food for him and as the best future sister in law I stop Jack from kissing me more and grab Luke his stupid food.

hi chronivac guys I wonder if it's possible to become the guy in your disclaimer with the cap and the evil grin or is he just a model for your service? I'm a broker and I really need a timeout like spring break for not being serious
Brother, you should know better than anyone that everything on this planet is a question of price. I will gladly organize a premium spring break for you as my stupid, constantly horny twin brother. I'll send the vouchers for the trip by email and the preset for the Chronivac directly to your app. The setting is such that you should activate it as soon as you're on your way to the airport.
The Uber is right on time in front of the apartment building on the Upper Eastside. As you load your Hermès laptop bag and Rimowa suitcase, the doorman asks you why you're not getting into your limousine but into this pathetic car. You don't react at all, sign out for the next week and get into the back of the car. It smells of sweat, cheap deodorant and tobacco. The driver is perhaps in his early 20s and tells you his whole life story without being asked. He studies business administration and earns a little extra money as an Uber driver. The rents in Manhattan are simply murderous. Instead of looking annoyed out of the window, you ask if you can have a cigarette. Only if you give him one too. Sure thing, bro. That's how it is among Uber drivers. You would do the same, otherwise you wouldn't be able to afford your apartment. The driver asks how many hours you drive to afford an apartment in the building. You laugh and say that your parents live there. When you arrive in Newark, you talk like college buddies. You say goodbye with a fist bump and ask if you're from New Jersey too. In the broadest accent imaginable, you reply that he can take his chances.
You take your army duffel bag and sports bag out of the trunk and look for your check-in desk. You look at your boarding pass. Damn, you're flying with Spirit Airlines? With a change in Atlanta? Who booked this shit? There are already dozens of people in the baggage drop-off queue who obviously want to go to Tampa too. Boomboxes are competing for the most annoying music, even if the sun isn't shining, everyone seems to be sticking to the sun's out, guns out rule. And caps are only worn backwards, of course. You turn your cap backwards. And stuff your down vest into your duffel bag. Sun's out, guns out is written on your mesh fabric tank top.
You almost missed your flight in Atlanta. You're already pretty drunk and one of the guys had his travel bong with him. In a two-hour layover, a bit of weed isn't bad. Thank God you're equipped with enough weed. The sale should finance your vacation. After all, your airbnb room right on the beach wasn't cheap.
You can only use the hour and a half flight to Tampa to sleep off your high. But as soon as you leave the airport building, you take part in a beer can drinking contest. Burp! Hehehe, you had plenty of practice last semester, you deserved to win.
Tumblr media
By the time you get to your shared room, it's already 11:00 pm. The party is in full swing at the pool. You quickly take a picture of yourself and post it on Instgram. Caption: "Watch out stallions n mares, jersey stud is in town" Let the party begin!

If you’re one of the millions of Americans worried about your pocketbooks and the general cost of living, you might have picked up on some good news recently: Inflation has really been cooling off this summer, as long-sticky (and long-lamented) food and energy prices continue to moderate. Some economic indicators remain stubborn, however—and they aren’t likely to abate anytime in the near future, no matter how long the Federal Reserve keeps interest rates high, what tweaks President Joe Biden makes to his trade policy, whether corporations decide themselves to slash prices on certain products, or whether Covid-battered supply chains finally get some long-needed fixes.
Other, grimmer recent headlines help to explain why. Hard rains from a tropical disruption in the Gulf have been battering Florida’s southern regions for days, leading to a rare flash-flood emergency. Another batch of storms is swirling near Texas at the moment and could form into a tropical depression, according to forecasts from the National Hurricane Center. Even if both states end up missing bigger storms now, it’s likely only a matter of time before they’re threatened again: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts that the United States will see its worst hurricane season in decades this summer.
Meanwhile, the heat waves that have enveloped Phoenix are intensifying to the point that some analysts are deeming its latest conditions “a Hurricane Katrina of heat.” Spanning outward, the Midwest and Northeast are projected to get their own extreme heat warnings as early as next week, with energy demand set to skyrocket as people turn on their air conditioners. The country has already seen 11 “billion-dollar disasters” this year, including the tornadoes that slammed Iowa just weeks ago. Meanwhile, the already strapped Federal Emergency Management Agency faces a budgetary crisis, and sales of catastrophe bonds are at an all-time high.
Now, let’s look back at the inflation readings. One of the categories remaining stubbornly high while other indicators shrink? Shelter and housing, natch, as rents and insurance stay hot—and still-elevated interest rates make construction and mortgage costs even more prohibitive. On the energy front, motor fuel may be cheapening, but fuel and electricity for home use are still pricey. Auto insurance remains a driving outlier, as I noted back in April, not least because of insurers hiking premiums for cars in especially disaster-vulnerable regions—like the South, the Southwest, and the coasts.
Look at what else is happening in those very regions when it comes to home insurance: Providers are either retreating from or dramatically heightening their prices in states like California, Texas, Florida, and New Jersey, thanks to their unique susceptibility to climate change. These states have seen supercharged extreme weather events like floods, rain bombs, heat waves, and droughts. National lawmakers fear that the insurance crises there may ultimately wreak havoc on the broader real estate sector—but that’s not the only worst-case scenario they have to worry about.
Agricultural yields for important commodities produced in those states (fruits, nuts, corn, sugar, veggies, wheat) are withering, thanks to punishing heat and soil-nutrition depletion. The supply chains through which these products usually travel are thrown off course at varying points, by storms that disrupt land and sea transportation. Preparation for these varying externalities requires supply-chain middlemen and product sellers to anticipate consequential cost increases down the line—and implement them sooner than later, in order to cover their margins.
You may have noticed some clear standouts among the contributors to May’s inflation: juices and frozen drinks (19.5 percent), along with sugar and related substitutes (6.4 percent). It’s probably not a coincidence that Florida, a significant producer of both oranges and sugar, has seen extensive damage to those exports thanks to extreme weather patterns caused by climate change as well as invasive crop diseases. Economists expect that orange juice prices will stay elevated during this hot, rainy summer.
(Incidentally, climate effects may also be influencing the current trajectory and spread of bird flu across American livestock—and you already know what that means for meat and milk prices.)
It goes beyond groceries, though. It applies to every basic building block of modern life: labor, immigration, travel, and materials for homebuilding, transportation, power generation, and necessary appliances. Climate effects have been disrupting and raising the prices of timber, copper, and rubber; even chocolate prices were skyrocketing not long ago, thanks to climate change impacts on African cocoa bean crops. The outdoor workers supplying such necessities are experiencing adverse health impacts from the brutal weather, and the recent record-breaking influxes of migrants from vulnerable countries—which, overall, have been good for the U.S. economy—are in part a response to climate damages in their home nations.
The climate price hikes show up in other ways as well. There’s a lot of housing near the coasts, in the Gulf regions and Northeast specifically; Americans love their beaches and their big houses. Turns out, even with generous (very generous) monetary backstops from the federal government, it’s expensive to build such elaborate manors and keep having to rebuild them when increasingly intense and frequent storms hit—which is why private insurers don’t want to keep having to deal with that anymore, and the costs are handed off to taxpayers.
When all the economic indicators that take highest priority in Americans’ heads are in such volatile motion thanks to climate change, it may be time to reconsider how traditional economics work and how we perceive their effects. It’s no longer a time when extreme weather was rarer and more predictable; its force and reasoning aren’t beyond our capacity to aptly monitor, but they’re certainly more difficult to track. You can’t stretch out the easiest economic model to fix that. And you can’t keep ignoring the clear links between our current weather hellscape, climate change, and our everyday goods.
Thankfully, some actors are finally, belatedly taking a new approach. The reinsurance company Swiss Re has acknowledged that its industry fails to aptly factor disaster and climate risks into its calculations, and is working to overhaul its equations. Advances in artificial intelligence, energy-intensive though they may be, are helping to improve extreme-weather predictions and risk forecasts. At the state level, insurers are pushing back against local policies that bafflingly forbid them from pricing climate risks into their models, and Florida has new legislation requiring more transparency in the housing market around regional flooding histories. New York legislators are attempting to ban insurers from backstopping the very fossil-fuel industry that’s contributed to so much of their ongoing crisis.
After all, we’re no longer in a world where climate change affects the economy, or where voters prioritizing economic or inflationary concerns are responding to something distinct from climate change—we’re in a world where climate change is the economy.

Aw, man, if I had the money, I'd buy this Victorian in Red Bank, New Jersey. It has 2bd 1.5ba and is $769.9K. The inside is absolutely magical, but that's b/c the 1st fl. is a beauty salon decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme. You have to see this decor.
Tumblr media
Look at how special the entrance is- they staged the stairs to resemble Alice in Wonderland. They don't use them, there's an apt. up there that has its own entrance.
Tumblr media
Whoever decorated this really did an amazing job.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sitting room is set up like a receptionist's office with a desk and the white rabbit. Note the pocket doors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In this room, a beauty salon chair takes center stage. If I look at the rooms, I can see that they'd be lackluster without all the antiques, though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two sinks in here for the hair washing stations.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since they use the kitchen for the salon, it doesn't have a stove or anything. I guess it will all depend on the new owner, if they want to live down here or not.
Tumblr media
They just have a powder room, but it looks large enough to put a tub in.
Tumblr media
This is nice, each hairdresser gets their own room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, we're upstairs in the apt. It's spacious, but I like downstairs better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The kitchen and dining area is pretty big.
Tumblr media
The bathroom has a nice shower.
Tumblr media
Nice main bd.
Tumblr media
2nd smaller bd is used as a home office.
Tumblr media
Stairs to the finished attic.
Tumblr media
Large space has 3 bds, more than likely for the children.
Tumblr media
The 2nd fl. apt. has a nice big deck.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Side yard with a one car garage. I don't know, I think this house is over-priced, even though it's in Red Bank.

Earlier this year, TIME wrote, "'Yellowjackets' — like so much recent TV about young women, matriarchy, and the mixed blessing of personal empowerment — also forces us to consider whether its girls might have been better off in the off-grid society they created for themselves." And given those themes, the friends I mostly discuss the show with, trading theories and memes over long message threads, are women. Some men I've tried to share the Showtime hit with have been less than enthusiastic, which has occasionally been mirrored in critics' responses, especially when the show first aired.
It's unclear if their reticence is old-fashioned sexism, an unwillingness to engage with trauma and its aftermath, or something else perhaps related to the show's centering of women, girls and violence. Matthew Jacobs called the show "inessential" in his review for TV Guide, while Brian Lowry of CNN described it as "a disappointment" though its "stars still merit a look."
Good news, men. A hero has arisen from the ashes of Flight  2525 (well, technically he arose from the smoldering home fires back in New Jersey, where he was left). He's ordinary and he's awesome. It's Jeff! And he's here to elevate white man mediocrity. Look out, guys. There's someone new, supportive and extraordinary just by being ordinary in town.
"Yellowjackets," now in its second season, follows the high school girls of a champion 1996 soccer team whose plane crashed in the Canadian wilderness. The survivors turn to desperate measures to make it through the harsh winter, and the show follows two main threads: the 1996 woodsy trauma and what happens to all the survivors later as adults. Spoiler alert: they don't feel or do so great.
As the husband of our main Wiskayok star, Shauna, Warren Kole is Jeff. He runs a furniture store. He married his high school sweetheart. Well, technically he married the girl he was cheating on his high school sweetheart with. But he did marry the mother of his (possibly multiple) children. He married young and has stayed married in the face of difficulties. He has the floppy hair of a YA love interest (perhaps a nod to Shauna's teenage dreams), despite being in his 40s. Jeff is the definition of peaked in high school, the golden boy who never left town and never did much. He's also done everything.
Jeff is every man. Specifically, he's every man in a TV show led by women. He's Dean Boland to glamourous criminal mastermind Beth Boland of "Good Girls," Rob to mayor Margot in "The Power." Jeff is not the main attraction. He doesn't get the teary, intense, Emmy-worthy speeches (that's Melanie Lynskey's Shauna). He doesn't get to wave the gun around (OK, that's Shauna too). He's not the action star or any star. His attempt to do crimes ended badly, and with him covered in glitter. Shauna thought he was cheating on her (Jeff would never), but he was simply fumblingly trying to blackmail her friends. It didn't end well. Nothing Jeff does ends well but he keeps on trying, the Energizer Bunny of husbands.
Jeff is a simple man. He works out at the gym. He's excited about making sales at work. When he gets upset, he deals with his anger by listening to Papa Roach alone in his car and violently air drumming. He enjoys eating dinner with his family, and when the women in his life, Shauna and defiant teen daughter Callie (Sarah Desjardins) tell him things, he believes them. Jeff is a believer. His exterior of tanned, floppy commonness conceals a steadfast heart of gold. He's pure. If you tell him you're going to book club, he believes you're going to book club. Why would you lie to him? Why would you murder? (If you do, though, he's got you.)
Jeff supports his wife through an avalanche of devastating revelations. She had an affair. She murdered a guy. Not only does he not leave Shauna upon the news of her cheating, he doesn't leave after the killing either. He does what he can to support his family. He's read her teen diaries, trying to understand the most difficult and life-altering trauma of her life, which not every man would do or care to know about. That trauma includes Shauna eating his high school girlfriend. Again, not every man is going to get over that.
But Jeff's got Shauna's back. And in doing so, perhaps he understands more than any male character in recent memory: trauma changes you. Violence is forever. Shauna is the way she is (secretive, hypervigilant, occasionally violent and cold) because of the past, and the past is always with her. Jeff accepts her for who she is, not the idealized way she could have been if only those terrible events hadn't happened, if only that plane hadn't crashed and everybody got real hungry. Jeff is the evolved man, the ally who has done the work (reading the diaries! Burning the diaries! Cleaning up the murder/affair evidence!).
He's willing to try new things, like strawberry lube. He's amendable to change, to doing the work. He wants it all to work out, and he loves Shauna because, as he says, she's the smartest woman he's ever met. Jeff is a blueprint for a way to be a good man. Rise himbo, rise. Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them wear sleeveless hoodies.

On April 21, mere miles from New York City, mankind faced its greatest enemy. It came in a form long anticipated, but never seriously expected. Beginning with only a handful of puzzle pieces, only now am I able to finally assemble the complete sequence of events. I went looking for the truth, and lord help me I found it. I witnessed the void that drives us to spend our lives cultivating an inner darkness. It's blacker than ink, darker than the grave. I was there. I touched it.
And now, I know the terrible secret of Krobaa, The Abyss That Walked! Just outside Morristown, New Jersey, Tuesday, March 30: Approximately 10:30pm. The old Kingsbridge mansion has been deserted for most of the past twenty years. The local residents whispered darkly of blasphemous rituals and human sacrifices, decades-past-- and avoided it at all costs. That has made it a perfect secluded location for Nigel Donlevy, PhD to conduct his rather unusual experiments. Where once servants of the Dark Forces defied God, Donlevy sought to subvert the laws of physics. A three time Nobel Prize nominee, Donlevy grew eccentric in the 70's and 80's, moving further and further towards the scientific fringe. Shunned by the "official" scientific community for his "radical" ideas, Donlevy withdrew into seclusion, determined to prove himself right in the end. Then, in a blink, his lifelong ambition, everything he believed in, it turned on him. I can't help but imagine that a part of him died at that moment-- and that death must have influenced what followed. Meanwhile, just across the Hudson River, a nightmare walked the Earth, demanding an enigmatic form of vengeance. The citizens of Morristown could scarcely have understood what it was they faced. Their worldview held no place for the unspeakable hunger of darkness incarnate. Carlchok would've recognized it, his filing cabinets overflowed with the secrets of the night. He'd stood against the darkness time after time, fighting it with both the ancient ways and the light shed by the printed page. All it cost him was his credibility, his career, and most of his liver. Roadmap pointed the rental car towards route 17 by the Thrifty Mart. I couldn't stop thinking about Cal. He'd gone up against things there aren't even names for, and when he wrote about it afterwards you could hear Dash Hammett weeping. The man had the holy fire once. What did it take to put it out? In a blink, everything about him changed. Suddenly, what I saw was no alien monstrosity-- but just another lonely soul cast adrift upon the vast indifference of heaven. For a fleeting moment, we looked deep into each other's eyes-- and saw mirrors. The wind gathered the ebon dust which was all that remained of Krobaa in its fleeting embrace, then scattered it in all directions. The nights've seemed a little darker ever since. But then, so have the days; even the sunniest skies dim when filtered through the terrible secret I've learned. "Y'see," he said, "this's yer basic problem in the newspaper business, kid. We don't get near break-even on sales; advertising's where we make the nut. You think the saks is gonna buy the centerspread plus four full pages with 'Moomba is Here!' in 30 point on page one?" And so the entire affair was quietly swept under a very large rug, where I've no doubt it will have plenty of company. One niggling question remains, however, which is, exactly who am I writing this for? Now that this account is nearly complete, I do believe I have an answer: for my conscience. Which is also now basically finished.

I know many of you (not all) do not even think about football and feel things about this situation. I see a lot of snap judgements happening. As a gal from the Philly Burbs, who is a fan of the Eagles and Philly culture and also considers Kansas City my second favorite team (because Trav and Mahomes, and Andy Reid is a former Eagles coach). Let me tell you some random facts about the Kelce Family (from OH). Even if Trav and Taylor don’t become a thing, just wanted mention some things because I know most of you aren’t super familiar.
-Both Jason and Trav credit their mother, Donna, for their athleticism.
-Jason played saxophone, played hockey, and football in school.
-Travis played football, basketball, and hockey
-Travis is very much into fashion and shoes. He said his closet has like 20 foot ceilings.
- Ed Kelce worked in the steel industry/sales and Donna in Banking. Both parents are/were SUPER supportive and said it would have been that way even if they wanted to do arts, music, etc. Their dad built like a mini arena in their basement or something like that (see their podcast episode from before the Super Bowl with their parents).
-Ed and Donna got divorced when the boys around college aged. But they maintain a friendship and support for each other and their boys.
-Jason is married to Kylie, they have three daughters. A documentary literally just aired last week about them on Amazon Prime.
-Jason is BELOVED in Philly (no small feat considering it’s a tough crowd). Let’s put it this way, if Travis is attending his brother’s game in Philly, he has to be completely decked out in Eagles gear or else he would not be received well (putting it lightly). That being said he’s like an honorary Eagle, he is also beloved by most Eagles fans/players.
-Ed Kelce worked with a government program to listen to space for Aliens on their home computer.
-Trav loves dancing and always has.
-The last Super Bowl, where the brothers played each other, Donna wore her split jersey to rep both boys.
-Trav is obsessed with his nieces. He lights up in every video I’ve seen with the kiddos. It’s very cute. He has said he wants a family.
-Jason is known for downing insanely large mugs of beer and he signs babies, Travis does not sign babies.
Travis is a Libra sun with Sagittarius moon (no rising because I don’t know times), Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Libra. (Oct 5, 1989).
Jason is a Scorpio sun, Taurus moon, Mercury in Libra, Venus in Sagittarius, Mars in Libra (Nov 5, 1987)
-Jason is close to retiring, Trav said he’s going till the wheels fall off.
- Both have won Super Bowls.
- Both are heavily involved in charitable work. I think Travis’s annual fundraising event is this weekend. A car show, he used to do fashion shows.
I could keep going but I recommend their Podcast (New Heights Podcast) YouTube videos that have Kylie Kelce (recently) and the other one that has the parents (early 2023 or late 2022) to start.

Efforts to sell ‘Anglo neighborhoods in Israel’ at LA synagogue erupt in protests
Pro-Palestinian protesters accuse companies of trying to sell stolen land in the West Bank, and question legality
Efforts to market homes in Israel and stolen land in West Bank to Jewish Americans are continuing to spark protests across North America, with the latest angry confrontations happening outside a synagogue in one of Los Angeles’s most prominent Jewish neighborhoods.
[...]
The Los Angeles demonstration was the latest in a series of heated demonstrations outside similar Israeli real estate events heldat synagogues across North America this year, including in Toronto, Canada; New Jersey; Baltimore, Maryland; and North Hollywood. Pro-Palestinian protesters have accused some of the companies involved in these events of trying to sell stolen land in the West Bank, and questioned the legality of the marketing efforts. One of the real estate companies named in an advertisement for the Los Angeles event, My Home in Israel, has listed high-end properties for sale in West Bank settlements on its website, including boutique apartments in Ariel and luxury villas in Efrat. Israel’s settlements in the West Bank are widely considered illegal under international law. The US recently restored its position that they are “inconsistent” with international law. Previous US events involving My Home in Israel have prompted calls for law enforcement investigations from Palestinian American and pro-Palestine groups, and denunciations from some local Jewish residents.
[...]
Protesters on both sides of the conflict described an out-of-control situation where people were targeted with bear spray and scuffling in the streets, and criticized police for failing to stop the violence. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators shared video of pro-Israel counter-protesters yelling racial slurs, and said that the counter-protesters had punched them, kicked them, chased them, ripped hijabs from the heads of Muslim women, made rape threats and followed some demonstrators back to their cars in an attempt to photograph their license plates. A pro-Palestine protester who lives in the area said the intensity of the harassment and violence from the pro-Israel counter-protesters was frightening, with “people who came up to me screaming, telling me to get out of their neighborhood”.
[...]
Sean Beckner-Carmitchel, a Los Angeles journalist who specializes in protest coverage, captured footage of pro-Palestinian protesters “pleading with officers for help” as they were “being shoved and hit” by pro-Israel demonstrators with the officers standing by. Several journalists covering the protest were also assaulted, Adam Rose, the secretary of the Los Angeles Press Club, tweeted on Monday. Among then was Beckner-Carmitchel, who said he filed a police report after being assaulted by pro-Israel demonstrators. A reporter for CalMatters said that one pro-Israel protester knocked his phone out of his hand as he tried to film, and later another demonstrator told him “you shouldn’t be here” and snatched away his phone.

Senator Robert Menendez has pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he acted as an agent of Egypt while serving as a member of Congress.
The Senator is accused of providing "sensitive US government information" to help Egypt's government.
Prosecutors allege he and his wife Nadine accepted bribes that included stacks of gold bars and a luxury car.
Mr Menendez, who had pleaded not guilty to the bribery charges earlier, has vowed not to resign.
The Senator and his wife - who has also pleaded not guilty - walked hand in hand out of the Manhattan courtroom on Monday and got into a car without taking any questions from reporters, according to the Associated Press.
In the original indictment last month, federal prosecutors said the couple took bribes from three New Jersey businessmen, in exchange for using Mr Menendez's position to push for increased US aid and military sales to Egypt.
Prosecutors added another charge in October, alleging Mr Menendez used "his influence and power to breach his official duty in ways that benefited the Government of Egypt".
During his time on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee - which he has now stepped down from - Mr Menendez allegedly encouraged fellow senators to lift a hold on $300m (£246m) in aid to Egypt and provided sensitive US government information to help it, according to prosecutors.
The indictment alleges the conspiracy occurred between January 2018 and June 2022.
Under US law, members of congress cannot work on behalf of another country's government.
Casting himself as a target of political opponents, Mr Menendez has said he will be exonerated of all accusations.
While his criminal trial is not expected to begin for another six months, the New Jersey Senator is already facing repercussions.
After stepping down as foreign relations chairman, he was barred from an intelligence briefing for the entire senate on the Israel-Hamas war, and is being pushed to resign by more than 30 Senate Democrats.
