listen, hear me out. I think we're forgetting that Kant is doing this because he is being forced by the Captain. He has to get to know Bison and Fadel, he needs the information.

Kant doesn't want to do any of this, isn't a masochist, very clearly puts on a mask and then rolls with it. He doesn't want to do any of this, but he has to because how else will he earn Bison's trust? By being fucking honest, Kant, fucking c'mon. The way to Bison's heart is to be your true self ffs How else will Kant safe his own life?

Sure, he could absolutely go about it differently. Again, by not fucking lying about liking something he very clearly doesn't like, but he's also backed up in a corner, yknow?

Kant thought going with the face slapping was a good bet but he might not have realized how far Bison would actually take it all. He can't safeword (he thinks) because it might hurt Bison's feelings and then he'll lose the little bit of trust they're building between them. Truly, would it even be trust if it's build on lies?

Little does Kant know, and he would've if he was actually able to think straight - and not while in the midst of fight or flight situation - he'd understand that trust is build on honesty. If you can't trust your partner to safeword when something doesn't feel good or is plain damaging to you, then how do you expect them to trust you?

Kant doesn't want to do any of this, but he's already fallen too deep in the hole and the ladder back up has been taken away.

Certain sections of F1 media literally can’t breathe without denigrating Susie Wolff. When she got appointed managing director of F1A - it’s because of Toto. When F1A has success - it’s because she’s married to Toto and he’s influenced the other teams. When Toto is accused of something unethical - “did you know his wife works with the FIA?” [even though she’s not involved in this at all and is not accused of having leaked information]

Susie Wolff is a racing driver in her own right. She’s been a successful Team Principal in Formula E, and CEO of a racing team (one that was in direct competition with Mercedes might I add). She was a Formula 1 development driver and the first woman to drive in a Grand Prix weekend for more than 20 years.

She has a career that she’s earned on her own, completely separate from who she chose to marry, and the reduction of her to just “Toto’s wife” - including by other F1 Team Principals - is such blatant, ugly sexism.

“Imagine if Geri Horner was working in F2?” If Geri Horner had Susie’s resume I would love for her to be working in motorsports because we need more women in motorsports at all levels, including at the top?

What did/do you like about Pharah?

Uh, gameplay-wise, I really love characters in shooters who rely on three-dimensional movement techs. Chaining together hover and jump to stay in the air for as long as possible and keep momentum is so satisfying, and picking enemies off from the sky made me feel like a bird of prey. I was a good Pharah main.

Story-wise, there unfortunately isn't much to canonically go off because Pharah is so underutilized and neglected. Her personality's pretty boilerplate "heroic hero" (she's literally inspired by Captain America).

But it's the crumbs/bits and pieces that I really latched onto. Pharah's a confirmed lesbian; her short story with Baptiste implies she harbors a crush on Mercy (fucking thank you.). She's biracial Egyptian/First Nations. She has major mommy issues, having grown up both admiring and resenting Ana. She's the bridge between Old Overwatch, inspired by the idealized heroes who surrounded her childhood, and New Overwatch. She's one of the only inter-generational characters in the cast; someone whose experiences span the gap, which is why I seriously believe Pharah would make a great main character.

There isn't much to go off of, though; she's a very uncomplicated character (she's a soldier for a private military corporation, lol.). But that just means she's a blank slate character, so I've seen fanfic writers run wild and create some really interesting takes on her. My favorite interpretation of her's a dense, herbo gym-bro type (a lot of her liens are about work outs, exercising, and playing sports) who's easily excitable under her seemingly self-serious, armored visage. We see how she tends to gloat and hype herself up when she's on a streak too, so Pharah definitely has a competitive and boastful side under her more professional and militant performance.

Now Mercy? Mercy is a real complex character.

I've been playing around with possible friendship dynamics of the Beast Council for fun!! I love imagining what kind of childhood they could have in the Forgotten Land all together.

What if Carol and Sillydillo are the fun-loving extroverts? Leon is the introverted one who's been smitten by Carol for a really really long time but he's too shy about it? And Gori is the friend who is an excellent observer and will bluntly tell you what he thinks (and maybe has a tendency to get grumpy when things aren't easily going his way).

Somewhat of a prequel to this other doodle comic about Leon and Carol- everyone here is still a kid ^_^

Okay so we can agree we sometimes get the dancey, zoomie urges from deity love but oh my gods have you ever wanted to start making loud noises out of nowhere and clawing and biting at them out of affection or am I desperately in need of some sort of mental reevaluation?????? kind of like how when a cat tries to play with you they start kicking and biting at your hand or whatever idk

There's a LOT of things people do wrong when constructing fantasy beliefs in pantheons of gods, but one of the more specific is having only one god related to fertility and it kind of being just a horny sex thing.

Like you'll have one in the entire bunch whose sphere is listed as fertility and it's basically like Yeah this is the sex one. She's always depicted naked (but not TOO naked because censorship and/or the writer's own skittishness). She's going to have the exact body type epitomized in contemporary western beauty standards and there's usually no chance in hell that she's gonna be fat (unless MAYBE they're referencing 'venus' figurines). Her thing is fertility, which means having sex and making babies. Might be a goddess of beauty or love or marriage too, because these are kinda sex things, but that's probably it. And yeah that sort of thing is virtually nonexistent in real life.

Like the concept of fertility is so fundamentally important to the function of most societies in human history in ways that it is just Not in industrialized imperial core countries. Most people are getting food from stores, and not having to worry about harvesting crops or breeding livestock or foraging for food or having enough animals to hunt, so fertility only really comes up as a concern if you're trying to have kids (and there is certainly societal pressure to have children, but your wellbeing and survival is rarely going to Depend on it). And I think writing only from that perspective and not even trying to learn about WHY fertility is so conceptually important is why you see this trend.

There's no absolute universal statement about how people believe in gods but it's broadly accurate that systems with many deities will Usually have more than one deity associated with fertility, and these associations will certainly include human reproduction but also the fertility of livestock/hunted animals, plants, the land itself.

Some fertility deities may also be heavily associated with seasonal changes or environmental factors that agriculture or foraging is dependent on (spring/summer/fall, seasonal rains, seasonal flooding, rain itself, sunlight, good soil, rivers, wetlands, etc). Some certainly might be related to love, marriage, sex, and beauty, but that's VERY RARELY going to be the sole way the concept of fertility is embodied. And they'll often will have other associations not directly about fertility, or related to fertility in culturally specific ways.

Thinking about visiting a concealed/sealed curse user! Suguru in his sealed/confined imprisonment, and when you go out of your way to sneak into the cramped space to give him a delectable tasty treat to subside that god awful aftertaste of consuming curses after curses during his imprisonment…the ex sorcerer schemes ever so sneakily and manipulatively (tripping you more like it) you into his lips, as he patiently seizes an open opportunity for it.

Of course at first you were fighting against it. Rebelling to his sudden prompt engagement to your plush lips with muffled puffs of air and choked back slurs meddling at the back of your concealed lips. But once his skilled tongue slipped slyly inside of your parted mouth — you could feel your own battling will start to render to his meticulous advances. The taste of his familiar silk lips and hungry intent engraving deeply into the back of your foggy mind.

And he knew that he was reeling you in. Just as he planned.

Pride swelling vastly in the depths of his chest as he maneuvers you, easily, without the aid of his confined arms and hands, to settle into the open space of his lap. To consume you entirely and pull you in further into his well calculated plan of enticing you to his every whim and command. Gradually, manipulating you to his drawn out escape plan. (All while enjoying his collecting prize of your intoxicating lips…and if he carefully lingers out his plan…maybe he’ll get to consume you entirely)
