Mars in the 2nd house is very possessive

Moon Aquarius is easy to sympathize with those around, although they may have many bad qualities, they will often be ignored by people because of their support in the team. Some in this group when they don't like someone and hate openly can easily recognize their feelings, these people can play bad tricks like using crowds, councils to bully

Here are some of the positions that I don't like very much, doesn't mean they will all be the same and I hate everyone with this aspect, it just brings some difficulties and disadvantages, takes a lot of time time to recognize and transform it:

1. Moon Square/Opposite Pluto: often emotionally volatile and explosive, has difficulty controlling anger, may experience more bad luck with women

2. Moon square / Opposite Uranus: actually this is one of the most horrible corners for me because as far as I know and actually it means about their separation from the mother physically or mentally

3. Venus square/opposite Mars: causes sexual attraction but often changes partners too quickly and gets nowhere

4. Mars Libra: passive in problem solving. The house in this position plays an important role, like the one who moves the pieces tactically. I think it is necessary to add other angles to strengthen this position, especially Pluto to increase ambition and determination.

5. Venus Gemini: often emotional, easy to play emotional roller coaster with others, unpredictable, interesting, but for me this is not a very good position in love, they easily find it difficult. hard to find the right person

6. Moon square/Opposite Saturn: often encounters problems in childhood such as abandonment, working in a difficult, deprived environment, shouldering responsibility, loneliness; They have quite a lot of psychological damage, rarely share, confide, and find it difficult to open their hearts to others. venus biquintile pluto is a really interesting aspect. the biquintile is usually associated with creativity and the development of artistic ability, and with venus being involved, there is even more potential and a genuine love for art. the native will find happiness and connection through their creative pursuits. with pluto on the other end of the aspect, something interesting happens. there can be a tendency towards obsession; they are more dedicated and more patient, with a strong work ethic and a desire to find meaning through their art, and it can bring them real catharsis. they may discover and nurture repressed parts of themselves through their art, and overall, there is a bit of a darker theme to this otherwise light and bright placement.

moon square pluto is often given a really negative spin online; i’ve seen everything from emotionally out of control to “will abuse their children”! this just isn’t a helpful way to interpret harsh aspects. my experience with this placement is that big emotions are very frightening, often because of the native’s early experiences. they seek to “control” their emotions, which can make them quite vulnerable to impulsive or addictive behaviours. they often have a deep relationship with mother figures, and with their children, which yes, at their worst, can become enmeshed and intense. but at their best, these relationships are intimate and founded on mutual trust, long lasting and able to weather the harshest storms.

venus-saturn aspects are all about delayed gratification. the native has to grow into their loving, creative, social side, and they usually have to "grow through what they go through"; depending on the aspect, they may just feel a little different, or have no interest in relationships, or they may grow up lonely or isolated, or deal with unhealthy relationships. they have to do a lot of self-work to develop self-love and nurture the soft, creative side of themselves, before they can really feel at home around other people. but when they reach that point, they can build beautiful, devoted and ultimately very healthy connections with others, that allow all involved to really thrive.

pluto conjunct ascendant natives have a really intense gaze. i think that usually we only think of the eyes when they think of the pluto stare, but to me it goes a lot further than that; especially with the conjunction, pluto-ascendant people look with their whole body. they have the intense eye contact, sure, but they tend to also have a hard mouth and slightly furrowed brow, a certain tension in their jaws and necks. they look like a cat about to pounce in a way, you can almost see that electrical energy under their skin.

ASTRO BASICS #3: UNDERSTANDING NATAL CHART ASPECTS AS MATHS + CONFUSING EQUATIONS

you can understand the natal chart aspects by addressing it as basic maths.

for example: jupiter (expansion) conjunct (+) mars (anger) = expanded anger. people with this aspect often have dramatic, sometimes over-the-top reactions when angry and can be made mad easily, they feel anger quite strongly.

HOW TO DO IT YOURSELF

1. focus on how social and outer planets aspect TO the inner planets and luminaries.

for example: saturn (restriction) conjunct moon (emotions) more so means saturn restricts emotions not that the moon makes saturn emotional.

2. use the cheat key below:

luminaries:

sun: ego, self worth

moon: emotions

inner planets:

mercury: communication, intellect, thinking

venus: affection, love, social skills

mars: anger, passion, sex

social planets:

jupiter: expansion, optimism

saturn: fear, restriction, limitation (when understanding saturn it’s important to understand that the main reason saturn causes restriction is because it creates fear)

outer planets:

uranus: randomness, unconventionality, freedom

neptune: illusion, delusion, fuzziness, romanticism (rose-coloured glasses)

pluto: depth (intensity), darkness, obsession

3. use the cheat key below to factor in if the aspect has a positive or negative affect on the native:

trine, sextile is positive

conjunct is both

square, opposition and inconjunct (quincunx) is negative

for example: venus (affection) square jupiter (expansion) means the native can be over-the-top sweet and positive in a way that can seem off-putting, fake and almost even selfish and self-centred, as if they’re not reading the room properly to react appropriately.

a trine would mean the native is able to come across as sweet and positive in a way that is accepting, and seems generous and likeable. they can add an optimistic vibe to social situations and relationships that make people feel positive.

UNDERSTANDING CONFUSING EQUATIONS

the question now is what to do when things seem contradictory.

for example: does moon (emotions) square mercury (thinking, intellect, communication) make someone overly emotional in their thinking and communication or does it make someone over-intellectualise their emotions?

it’s a little complicated but there’s two answers:

1. both

2. which ever planet is more dominant

it’s both because just because something is contradictory doesn’t mean it can’t exist, people have contradictory (and unbalanced) personalities, so both conclusions will often be true to an extent.

however, the more “true” answer is whatever planet is more dominant. if someone has a stronger mercury then this person is going to over-intellectualise their emotions and appear unemotional and if someone’s moon is stronger then they’re going to have an overly emotional thinking and communication style and appear too emotional.

another example: jupiter (expansion) and saturn (restriction) seems contradictory but someone can have both expanded and dramatic emotions (moon) and feel as if they are restricted and unable to express them, especially when you factor in how saturn can add fear to the chart.

reminder: analysing a whole chart is, of course, still complex and this is by no means a cut and dry way to understand aspects completely and wholly but is is very, very close and should help you understand natal charts a lot easier. i hope you enjoyed reading. 💖

Thursday, March 28th 2024 Sun in Aries♈️🔥Moon in Scorpio ♏️🌊

We continue to experience the broody vibes of the Scorpio Moon and we kick off the day with this energy in a trine to Saturn in Pisces. This can bring out the sensitive side in us and may have some wanting to reach out or interact with those that we feel can help us with advice or complex relationship issues. Now, with Mercury in the pre retrograde phase which is just a few days away, I advise to be mindful about who you let back into your life. Mercury retrograde tends to bring up nostalgia or longing for what once was. With that said, it’s really important to pay attention to what shows up when we’re in between eclipses but I remain. Use discernment so that you’re not repeating old or outdated cycles with people or situations.

Venus in Pisces is also in a sextile with Uranus in Taurus which can bring in the unexpected. This energy is feminine and therefore receptive further supporting everything I just said but also allows for beautiful and creative ideas. You may experience “aha” moments or you could just be out for a jog and run straight into someone or something that’s meant to show up at this time. If this energy comes in the form of thoughts, write them down. Feel into the energy of it before taking action. You’ll know what to do based on how it makes you feel.

The energy today is filled with plutonian magic, and a delight hint of aquarian as the huge spark in the sky today. Leo being our head leading force, covered by the moon makes a powerful opposition to the Aquarian Sun. On top of that, Mercury & Mars makes a powerful conjunction in Capricorn, while forming a trine with the beautiful Uranus. In these delightful times, the energy can be a bit potent. But there is a darkness amongst the pits... In these times, we will notice slight changes around our bodies, but mostly in the entire atmosphere. What was mainly not an issue, becomes one. And what was most likely a secretive, will be more out in the open these coming weeks. This is because pluto's secrets are now being pushed into the horizon, and what was in must come out.

Be quiet about a lot of things you share, you don't know who's watching. Be prone to accepting the things you cannot change and accept the glory that comes with moving forward to something different. Now let's get into the lightening strike that is coming for us this up coming week because for the new few days Mercury & Mars are sticking to their plans to self-destruct any forms of planning, direction, communication and partnerships that need re-alignment. Taurus New Moon, May 7th, 2024

The Moon (emotions) joins the Sun (ego) in Taurus, to double-up on us either being grounded, practical & resilient, or stubbornly resistant to change. Taurus, ruled by Ceres, is the expression of cultivated or uncultivated “soil” in ones life. Let’s assess our intentions for the types of new seeds we want to plant.

Jupiter conjunct Uranus, also in Taurus, is still active. Three makes a pattern, and now sometimes two is enough. Pay attention to those synchronicities. And your attitude. Are you attracting more of what you want, as you manifest consciously, or are you attracting more difficulties, as you allow yourself to remain caught in a dissonant mindset?

Mercury and Chiron are conjunct in Aries, allowing us an opportunity for deep reflection and analyzation, which can lead to lasting healing in a deep wound related to processing information and communicating. The Aries Moon makes us extra sensitive so that we feel like being impulsive. Instead, let’s act with tactical precision, as we assess what’s going on within.

The Sun is sextile Saturn, which can help with discipline and proper consideration before taking grounded action. This orderly state of mine allows good opportunity for new, healthier habits, especially as regards material possessions, and work. Anything which requires a lot of concentration can be done well at this time. If not working, we will want to reflect on serious matters. While this can help with the Mercury Chiron conjunction, it can make it difficult to relax.

Gift Management

Monday - December 11, 2023

I am living much of the life I not only wanted, but also never imagined I would achieve. I have a thriving astrology business, I'm a contributing astrologer over at Sirius•Joy, and my Ministerial career is starting to take off. Yeah me!

But with all of that comes a lot of task and resource management ... a LOT! It can be overwhelming at times, and there are days when my management of it has left something to be desired. Instead of complain I lift it higher, and ask God Universe and Mother Life to help me manage it; to bring me the people or resources I need to manage these gifts I have received.

As you see your future coming in, and get a bit overwhelmed by the bigness of it, manage IT instead of allowing it to manage YOU. So says the sextile today between Venus in Scorpio and Mercury in Capricorn at 8°, and a quincunx between the Sun in Sagittarius and Uranus in Taurus at 19°. If you ask for the resources, and then start searching for them, you will find them.

Today, realize the GIFTS are not a problem, and are indeed a blessing. And that if you had the moxie to attract the big gifts you can also attract big ways to manage them!
