I just love how realistic this series is, especially this episode. It shows what happens to the actors, fans, and their entertainment agency. Just look how a single photo ruins an actor’s private life. This is exactly how toxic fans behave when they knew about their fave’s private relationship. Some fans are delusional that they want the couple in a series to date each other they always forgot the actors also have their own lives and they can’t control it. And also how their agency handled it by asking them to keep distance for the sake of the series, the fans, and the tv station. Sad. We should always know our limits as a fan.

I started learning Thai because I discovered I like the sound of it a lot. But I'm not very far. Until now, I know like 10 words total because I focussed more on learning the alphabet and tone rules because it's more complicated than English.

This is something, concerning the used language, I noticed in Lovely Writer Ep 9 during this scene:

I don't know why but the way Nubsib/Kinn confesses in this scene cracks me up.

Lovely Writer just does everything to make clear "bad engineer" is a really low quality and bad show.

He says "กูรักมึง" (goo rak meung) which is the most unromantic way, I have ever heard a thai person confess their love. "ถู" (goo) and "มึง" (meung) are very casual and informal personal pronouns which even count as offensive and mean "I" and"you". They are maily used when talking to your friends. I would never expect someone to confess with such choice of words because the way he just spits these words out, seems rather rude than sensitive. I mean, yes, a confession is a confession, no matter how you say it, but I feel like Lovely Writer just wants to underline how low quality "bad engineer" is and how pasionless the script was written because I believe Gene didn't write it that way.

A love confession would at least be "ผมรักมึง" (pom rak meung) but it's still not very sincere. In Manner of Death, Tan and Bun used "ผมรักคุณ" (pom rak kun) which is more formal and brings a deeper meaning across. It shows how serious they are about their relationship.

Mostly people add "น่าครับ" (na krub) at the end to make it sound more lovely and cute. It underlines how much they mean it and that the other really means a lot to them.

You could also say "ผมรักเขา" (pom rak kao) but mostly they stick with "ผมรักเธอน่าครับ" (pom rak ter na krub). "เธอ" (ter) means "you" and is informal but doesn't fall into the category of offensive personal pronouns.

If you know more about Thai than I do, feel free to correct me when I'm wrong. It's just something I picked up whilst trying to understand how the Thai language works with words such as "na" and "krub"/"kha" and when I heard the love confession, I had to laugh at the way he says it.

2.ToruFirst-The tension of these 2 i just can't. I need their own series as mains. Copy A Bangkok i beg you. 😭

3.YinWar-I haved watched all their series together coz i'm a sucker for them. 😤

4.BillySeng-Yes 2 best actors in 1 ship. They could be my #1 but for now i only saw them in war of y. 🥰

after more than a year of waiting, I FINALLY got my offtayarm kazz magazine <3 AND I got the off photocard even though I had 1 chance out of 3 to get it... but my fave found me as always 🥰🥰🥰 the magazine also features upkao, tongfluke (the ship from second chance which was one of my favorites last year!), august vachiravit, ar3na, pixxie & nicecnx that I all know & like, but I had to shorten the video to be able to post so sadly I couldn't show you!

Imo, Japanese and taiwan bls show real professionalism in their art. They come, do their work, be decent and part ways. Taiwan may show some fanservice but not in any way other than these dudes being friends and Japan is all about their work. Japanese bls are either fluff or 18+ and more only, but all their intimate scenes are dependent on the whole story. Like, I don't mind that there is no kissing scene in cherry magic, because it suits the theme of the story. My point is that unwanted/unneeded fanservice need to be banned. Maybe that's a strong word, but the only people (in my opinion) who did it in a real manner are bkpp, upkao and maxtul. And maxtul maybe are extreme but I feel like they enjoy the whole thing and in fact are great friends and do not mind it.

japan and taiwan definitely have a different marketing strategy and concept compared to the thai industry. I don’t know if it has anything to do with professionalism though. They’re handling things differently but I don’t think I would call them more professional because of that. There’s a reason why thailand has been on the bl throne for years lmao so they’re clearly doing things right lol - Eventhough I find that hard to comprehend sometimes.

I've rolled out the topic of fanservice and why I find it so irritating a few times before so I won't go into it again. But I agree that there's clearly too much of it in the thai bl industry. Like it's gotten to a point where they're even making entire shows just for fanservice that have no plot and mediocre acting which kind of pushes the limits for me. (a few are funny bc they’re playing with it but with others it’s a cringefest) On the other hand, as I said, it seems to work because ppl are giving in to it and the capitalism is flourishing lol.

I barely know anything about the japanese bl industry but I agree that the way Taiwan is handling their bl stuff is more toned down and thus a lot more bearable.

And I agree about the actor pairings you mentioned. I don’t follow bkpp but with maxtul and kaoup you can tell they’re genuinely friends and they’re having a good time together - which is not to say that that’s not the case with other pairings - but it feels natural with them, which gives me a better feeling seeing them together haha.
