UP10TION Scenarios
6. KISS
JINWOOK: He looked at you with such amusement in his eyes. Lights were playing in there and it overwhelmed you that you were the reason behind it. “Can you stop looking at me with heart eyes? I’m feeling self-conscious, you know?” you complained, smiling. “Where do you want me to look instead?” he asked, pouting exaggeratedly. You wouldn’t want him to look at someone else, anyway. “It’s not like I don’t like it. It’s just that my mind seem to stop working every time—” Your babbling ended when he sealed a kiss on your lips.
SOOIL: From the car, he walked you up to your doorstep. It was past nine in the evening when you reached home. You couldn’t help but worry whenever he went home late because of dropping you off first. “Drive safely,” you told him. “I will. Don’t worry too much,” he said, not letting go of your hand. “You’re forgetting something necessary.” He smiled sheepishly, and then kissed your lips good night before heading back to his car. You waved at him as you watched him go.
MINSOO: “Ah, Your Highness looks so lovely today,” he sighed when he saw you at last. You made a face at him when you caught your reflection on a shop window you were passing by. Strands of hair fell out of your bun, making it messy. But he remained staring at you like you were, indeed, lovely. “I am not lying,” he said, his hand on his chest. “It’s not my best look yet,” you said shyly. He held out a hand to you, brushing a kiss at the back of your hand. “I know.”
JINHYUK: You glared at him in mock irritation when he kissed your right cheek for no reasons. He gave you a surprised look of fake innocence. “Didn’t you ask for a kiss?” You rolled your eyes. It was your fault, anyway. “You’re pointing at your cheek, so I kissed you there,” he explained as if he just did you a big favor. You eyed the room to see if the students saw you. The library didn’t seem to care. “Erase that stupid ink on your cheek, okay?” But being the annoying guy that he was didn’t listen to you but kissed you again.
CHANGHYUN: Almost all the buses were full and it didn’t surprise you at this hour. Beside you, he kept talking to keep your distraction away from the difficulty of commuting. You concentrated on his voice and his breathing as he stood in that shed with you. His hand was on your elbow, rooting you on your spot. Another bus came and it was time to say goodbye. His hand went to your shoulder. You looked up at him, but he didn’t meet your gaze. He pulled you close gently and kissed your forehead until it was time to go.
WOOSEOK: “You lost in our deal. Again,” he said, emphasizing the last word. “It’s only 2 points!” you argued. “I know what you’re capable of. You don’t have to be so patronizing to me,” he uttered, smirking. He looked at your test paper again, an idea forming in his head. “After I give your punishment, let’s stop competing with each other. It doesn’t make sense,” he proposed. That took him long to notice, you thought. Suddenly his eyes were all serious and looking at him made it hard for you to breathe. He pulled you in, kissed your lips and told you that was it—the punishment.
YEIN: With a smile on your face, you showed him the flower crown you made. The flowers you used looked familiar to him, though. The white and yellow orchids were pretty. “Aren’t those flowers from the bouquet I gave you?” he inquired. “Yes, isn’t it pretty?” As a reply, he approached you and took the crown form you. He put it on you with such care. “Right,” he agreed, taking in the scent of the flowers mixing with your shampoo. He kissed your hair then and said it looked good on you.
GYUJIN: It was dark and the sky lacked stars. You focused on your steps, following the movement of his feet. He glanced back at you from time to time. Lightning striking made for a good kind of flashlight. “Remind me not to go to open fields again,” you said as the two of you made it back to the road. He invited you to come out to watch the skies before rain and brought you to the field. “Sorry, I messed things up,” he said, chuckling. “Were you scared? Come here.” You couldn’t stay annoyed at him for long, besides you enjoyed watching the lightning. He consoled you with a kiss on the forehead, then continued fleeing the rain.
HWANHEE: The photo booth felt stuffy, but seeing the smile on his face gave you the distraction you need to get on with it. He requested this, after all. You didn’t have the heart to turn him down. You copied his peace sign for the first shot. Goofy faces came next and you were totally having fun. The last shot came quickly, as well as the kiss. There you were standing with a slight smile, his lips on your cheek. It was a good memory on paper.
DONGYEOL: “Oh,” he mouthed, grinning at you. “Why don’t you sleep for a while, so you won’t catch me if I stare at you?” he was lying on the couch resting as you sat on the floor. “I really need someone to watch me while I sleep,” he said, chuckling. “Go to sleep, then,” you said with a pout. He stared at you for a beat longer. He even managed to lift his head and plant a quick kiss on your nose before closing his eyes to sleep.

Walking In The Winter | Kim Wooseok
Request:
Can I request a Wooseok scenario in which the reader is a single parent and both of them have known each other for a long time. Wooseok starts to get closer to the reader as well as the child gradually and the once suppressed feelings of both the reader and Wooseok, towards each other start to return stronger than ever. Fluff please ^_^
↬ Pairing: Wooseok x fem!reader.
↬ Genre: Fluff, super slight past Angst?
↬ Warnings: Wooseok being too fucking cute?
↬ Word Count: 4.3k
↬ Song Recommendation: “Walking in the Winter” by Yun Ddan Ddan. Originally I was going for another title but after reading the lyrics it fit too well... plus Wooseok is obsessed with this song and that’s adorable.
The tiredness spread on every inch of your body, the pain making itself notice with each step you took while going upstairs, the view of the hall becoming slightly comforting as you searched for the keys in your purse. Before unlocking the door, you took a deep breath, trying to put on your best face and getting in to be greeted with a walking Wooseok that constantly shushed the asleep kid in his arms. When your friend heard the door closing, he turned around to give you a small smile, pointing a few times towards your child.
“Thank you for taking care of him today…” Leaving everything by the entrance, you silently went to him, extending your arms to grab your son and quickly taking him to your room.
As soon as you made sure he was sleeping comfortably and kissed his forehead, you went back to the living room. You were about to grab your wallet when Wooseok stopped you.
“How many times do I need to tell you that this isn’t necessary?” His hands were gentle as he put the money down. Just then was that you noticed the small cut under his right eye.
Getting closer to examine it, you held his chin. “What happened to you?” He blinked a few times, the words not coming out and making you notice the rushed action, instantly pulling away while muttering an apology.
“Ah, I must have gotten it with him… he really likes to play with my face.” Wooseok let out a small laugh as he tapped his skin a few times and checked his fingertips.
“Must be because you have such pretty eyes.” He lowered his gaze, hiding the light blush on his cheeks. “Wait here, I will go look for something to cure it.”
There was no place for him to deny your offer this time as you left him alone, grabbing the first aid kit you kept close just in case and telling him to sit down on the couch. Imitating him, you faced him, cleaning the tiny wound and blowing on it when the alcohol made Wooseok flinch, your expression distracting him from the stinging. He would be lying if he denied that his heartbeat got faster with your every touch, so lost in the moment that it almost surprised him that it was over so soon. Now he felt the bandit on the place and held back a laugh as you took a picture of him and showed how it looked, the Doraemon design making a fun contrast on his usually serious face.
“Thank you.”
“I think it might leave a scar though…”
He scoffed at the mention. “It’s fine, really, don’t worry about it.” His phone rang and right after he picked up his stuff. “Ah, I think it’s pretty late so I should get going–”
A sound coming from the bed room interrupted both of you, making you sigh as you got up. Of course you missed sharing more time with your kid, but it became a bit hard to do so when you came after work, your body and mind not being ready to handle with it even if that’s what you wanted with all your might.
“You can go Wooseok, thank you so much–”
He shook his head. “Let me help and then I’ll go, you look too tired.” Ah, so he noticed. His pace got quicker towards the bedroom. “Besides, you don’t need to thank me every time, it’s been two months already.”
With a slight chuckle, you dragged your feet behind him, laying down next to the small body of your son and playing with his hair as he let out a few cries. Apparently, he had a nightmare and since he was alone, he got scared.
“What’s your plan?”
Your question made Wooseok roll his eyes as if it wasn’t obvious, a sweet melody filling the room as he sang the lullaby you knew well. He was making some arrangements to the song, the beat becoming slower and somehow sadder, but it seemed to work nonetheless. However, like this you got to pay more attention to the lyrics, your sight fixed on his expression and how the feeling seemed to be completely different from other times he had sang it, but Wooseok stared at the way the kid’s eyelids started to close again at the sound of his voice.
When he finished, he looked your way, only to find you sleeping soundly just like the child next to you, the resemblance striking him as funny. He stood up, trying to not disturb you as he put a blanket over you and left the room, flicking the lights off. Grabbing a pen, he scribbled a message on one of the notebooks he had used to color with his new favorite person and grabbed his keys, more like the ones you had given him in case an emergency happened and left the apartment.
The cold breeze reminded him of the song, scoffing annoyed at the lyrics. Well, he wasn’t annoyed at the song itself, but rather the memories it brought to him. It hadn’t been long since you two got in contact again… Years had passed since he heard your name, but three months ago that had changed when he crossed paths with that asshole. No, it wasn’t his intention to listen to his conversation, but he couldn’t quite help himself when he started talking about you with his friends, laughing at the mention of how he had cheated on you and you asking him to leave. After that, he tried to somehow find you, knowing that you would most probably need someone’s help, and at the time he didn’t think about others being able to lend a hand. Maybe it was because he wanted to be the one to be there for you, to fulfill the promise he made when you two were young, or maybe he simply wanted an excuse to see you again. He wasn’t quite sure, even to this day.
But he didn’t need to understand it. He tried to convince himself about it. Letting go of you had been extremely painful for him, and now that he was able to be with you again, he didn’t want to ruin it. So, he didn’t need to understand his feelings now. It wasn’t the time to be selfish.
Ignoring the freezing cold, he put on his air pods and hit the play button, scoffing once again as his healing song started playing. Without putting much resistance, he started walking, humming to the melody while doing it so.
When you walk, your heart will tell you. Wooseok didn’t need to understand, but he really hoped his heart would tell him whether he was doing the right thing or not this time.
It was one of those miraculous days where you got to go home early, your mood brightening even if there was still some tiredness in your system. The reason? Because you would be able to spend some time with your beloved son, and maybe get to spend some time with Wooseok, invite him to have dinner now that you got the time to prepare it, just as a way to thank him for all the help he had provided you the past few months.
You weren’t expecting his call that day, nor any other day, if you had to be honest. It had been some years since you last saw him, things between you not ending well and that weighed you, but there was nothing any of you could have done to avoid it. After your ex and father of your son left, you felt a little bit lost, almost instantly regretting your decisions when the screen of your phone lit up with an unknown number. Slightly scared of it belonging to him, you picked up, your eyes filling with tears as the familiar low voice greeted on the other side of the line, wondering if it was your phone number. Of course he went silent the second you said yes, the awkwardness lingering in the air before he proceeded to ask how you were, and since then none touched the topic about what had happened once a long time ago.
Maybe because both of you knew what happened, and understood each other and your reasons to have done that. You were pregnant, and at the moment you thought about prioritizing family… how were you supposed to know that the man next to you would turn out to be an ungrateful asshole? And although kicking him out pained you, in the end you hoped to have taken the best decision, both for you and for the future of your son, but even then the thought of him asking for his father someday hunt you every day.
Reaching for the doorknob, you breathed in, collecting yourself as you opened the door and heard a cheering scream followed by tiny steps running towards you. The bags on your arms almost fell to the floor as you picked up the overjoyed kid, not caring about the paint in his small hands staining your clothes and kissing his plump cheeks. Wooseok stood up from the floor, giving you a small nod as a greeting before he helped you out with the groceries, taking them to the kitchen and starting to put everything in its place. The subtle detail made you smile; nothing had seemed to change between you two, and it made you happy. It was as if you had never stopped being friends, as if he had never left, making himself comfortable in your apartment after the six months you had shared together.
“Thank you for babysitting him again.” Wooseok sighed frustrated but shook his head the same way he had the last two months, giving up telling you to stop doing that.
The kid in your arms held your face, his fingers leaving a trace of paint along the bridge of your nose before laughing hysterically. “Hyung and I have been painting! Want to see?”
You giggled at his enthusiasm, getting closer to the table where a spectrum of different drawings were spread. Your son pointed out the fox, the cat and the wolf that he drew, ignoring what seemed to be panels that told a story in a similar way to a comic, the style reminiscing you of the drawings that Wooseok used to make when you were young. Right as you were about to read it, delicate fingers covered the paper, your friend coming back just in time to have you more intrigued about the story.
Trying to ignore it, you complimented the rest of the paintings. “You did so well! Aren’t you a whole artist? I think you deserve a prize…” His eyes got bigger waiting for it. “A thousand kisses!”
The whole room was filled with his vibrating chuckles as you snuggled and pressed your lips to his cute face, Wooseok smirking as he saw you two, warmth spreading through his body before remembering he was staying more time than what was needed.
“I should go now–”
“Hyung deserves kisses too!” The innocent demand made you both stop. “He also drew a lot and he’s good, right?”
How to explain this to a four year old? “Well, yes, but–” You could already sense the grumpy expression coming and that usually was followed by a waterfall of questions, so you simply leaned in and pressed a kiss on Wooseok’s cheek.
“That was one kiss.” What a witty kid. “And you should do it like in dramas!” His body stretched to grab one of the drawings by the older to show you an example, but what was pictured made your cheeks burn.
It had been a memorable day for him too, apparently.
“Those kisses are for special people!” Wooseok’s voice got high pitched as he snatched the paper as delicately as he could in order to not scare the kid. “Friends don’t give those to each other.”
The frown on the child’s face grew. “But mom said you were someone special for her.”
“N-no, I didn’t say that–”
“Yes, you did! After the first time hyung came home!” His memory was a blessing when you were forgetting to take something to your work, but right now it was closer to become a curse than anything else.
“Playtime is over, go wash your hands so that you help me cook, yes?” Sighing in defeat, he ran to the bathroom as soon as you put him on the ground, the mention of food distracting him enough to forget the recent argument.
You walked to the kitchen, ignoring Wooseok’s lingering gaze as you ran the water in the kitchen and scrubbed the rests of paint off your hands.
But he had to clear his throat. “So I’m a special person to you, huh?” That was something you wished had changed: his teasing nature.
“Uh, yeah…” The hesitation in your voice was obvious as you turned around to face him, not expecting him to be that close. “Am I?”
By the way his eyes started shaking, you could say he wasn’t ready for a comeback. Even if he hadn’t changed much, you did, and it appeared as if he was noticing it just now. However, his actions didn’t waver as he took a few tissues behind you, dampening them with water and pressing them against your face, cleaning what your son had left.
“You always were.”
It was hard to breathe if he stared at you with such intensity that made you forget how to even pronounce words, the sincerity sounding too real for you to brush it off as a joke. Thankfully, his phone received a message, giving you the perfect opportunity to turn around and hide the blush in your face while grabbing what you needed to cook.
“Hyung, will you stay for dinner?” The small voice caused you to close your eyes, slightly cursing at yourself for not having asked that to Wooseok before.
“Ah, I don’t think I can tonight, buddy… maybe next time, yes?” He ruffled the little one’s hair before grabbing his stuff and walking to the door. “Sorry to leave so hurriedly but I have to be somewhere, is it–”
“Yes!” It wasn’t your intention to raise your voice like that, but the mix of emotions inside you was hard to control. “I mean, yeah… it’s totally fine, don’t worry.”
“I’ll come back tomorrow.”
“Mhmm.”
If you tried to talk again, you were almost sure that you wouldn’t be able to hide anything, so the only option was to give a short, simple answer. You could sense his hesitation but still the door closed behind you, the air becoming much lighter.
A sigh caught your attention. “I wanted hyung to stay…”
You smiled picking up the kid and handing him the plastic mixing bowl he liked to play with. “Me too, baby, me too.”
After that day, none of you exchanged more words or looks than necessary. He would get home right on time for you to go work, and as soon as he came he would say goodbye. The atmosphere had somehow became more awkward than the first day you met each other again, and it was hard for you to figure how to change it. Each time you were about to ask if he wanted to stay, he had already left the apartment, your anxiety increasing. You didn’t want him to think that you were merely using him as a babysitter, although you had to recognize that it helped you out quite a lot and even more during holidays.
The couch welcomed your body as you flipped the pages of one an album, the unusual silence making you feel lonely and causing you to come up with ways to find comfort, old photos apparently doing the work. You had asked for the day off and it was also the birthday of a friend of your kid, so you dropped him there early and now a good few hours awaited… but it had been so long since the last time you had an opportunity like this that you weren’t sure what to do.
Getting overwhelmed with the nostalgia, you left the photo album on top of the small table and went to your room, taking off the old pajamas and instead trying on a dress you hadn’t worn in a long time. It looked nice… and it also felt nice. You tried fixing your hair in different ways, laughing when you realized you had been making faces in front of the mirror for the past ten minutes.
A knock on the door interrupted your fun, nervousness starting to settle in your system while you tried to remember whether you had told Wooseok that he didn’t need to come today or not. When you got to the door, taking a glance through the peephole was enough to confirm your suspicions: you hadn’t. Hiding behind the door, you opened, him walking right inside with a heavy bag, stopping a second to take off his shoes and then continued, slumping down on the couch.
“I brought the games you asked for, kiddo, better come here before your mom leaves or… Wow.” His eyes finally looked your way when you closed the door, his mouth dropping open before he cleared his throat and stared at the bag he had. “Where is–”
“He had a birthday party today.” He froze. “And I have the day off.” You could see his posture change. “I forgot to tell you, I’m so sorry–”
Not a second later, he stood up, picking up the bag and walking to the entrance. “That’s fine, don’t worry, I’ll leave right now.”
This was your chance, and it was slipping right between your fingers, so you took it. His steps came to a halt, the grip on his sleeve making it impossible for him to move and you made the biggest effort to get over your fear.
“Would you like to stay?” Wooseok didn’t say anything. “You already came all the way here… and I’ve meant to thank you for these past months.” What a ridiculous excuse.
As if he could read your mind, he turned around, giving you a half smile. “I would like that.”
It was your turn to freeze, appreciating the small distance that separated both of your hands before waking up from the trance to go to the kitchen. “Coffee?”
“Mhmm.”
The silence prolonged, although the weird feeling that was present the other days had vanished. You weren’t sure if something changed, but it made you feel relieved. Quickly, you prepared a cup for each, smiling to yourself when you noticed you still remembered the way he liked it. When you turned around, he wasn’t behind you, but rather checking the album you were flipping through before on the couch. You handed him his cup, cautiously analyzing his expression when he took a sip of it and feeling warm when he smiled.
“Glad you like it.”
You sat next to him, getting comfortable as you peeped over his shoulder to see the picture he was staring at fondly, your heart tumbling seeing it was you and him years ago, the dress you were wearing looking more alive than now. And the look in your eyes was different too, even if it wasn’t evident because you were staring at Wooseok laughing, one of the few pictures you had of him doing it.
“You looked beautiful that day.” It seemed as if he was talking to himself, studying the picture and comparing it with his drawing. “Just like now.”
Taking compliments wasn’t your biggest talent and he knew that, flipping the page and stopping abruptly at the envelope that rested in the next one. The edges were worn out from the amount of times you had opened it to read the letter inside, the words in it becoming your healing song whenever you faced a hardship in the past.
“Ah, that–”
“I can’t believe you kept it.” His eyes looked sad as his fingers caressed his own calligraphy spelling your name on the front.
You had to swallow before answering. “It’s precious to me.”
“My confession letter?” He laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. “It was so bad.”
Even if he was talking about himself, it made you feel offended, grabbing it and holding it close to your chest. “It’s not!” Wooseok stared at you wide eyed. “The only bad thing was the timing.”
He couldn’t hold back his laugh. “You are right there… I don’t know what was I expecting.” He scratched the back of his head.
“The truth, I guess.”
“What?”
Was there any use in lying about it now? “Well, I liked you too… but I was already dating with–”
“The asshole.”
You chuckled. “Yeah.”
The silence grew between you two, but this time Wooseok was the one to cut it.
“You never told me.”
Shrugging, you caressed the letter. “When I had made up my mind, you had left and I was pregnant, so… I thought the right thing was to move on.”
Wooseok’s piercing gaze was fixed on you, but the confessions were too many for you to face him while saying it out loud, so you kept fidgeting with the end of your dress, remembering how he had complimented you back then during your birthday party and how later his hands had been on the exact same place when you shared your first kiss. The next day you pretended nothing had happened, afraid to ruin the friendship, and it wasn’t until a year later that the paper between your hands confessed that he had done the exact same thing for the exact same reason. But it was too late.
“And what do you think is the right thing now?” You raised your head, finding Wooseok just a few centimeters away from you.
“I don’t know…” Your eyes dropped to his mouth. “I don’t think it matters, either.”
Just like that, his lips were on yours, the same feelings that invaded you that one time making themselves notice again. The electricity itched in your fingertips as the letter slipped of them, his hand resting on the back of your neck to bring you closer, stealing your breath right after you recovered it over and over again. You lost track of time, your chest welling up with all the repressed feelings as he held you between his arms, feeling weightless under his touch and becoming conscious of the burning sensation that his fingers left on your skin as he traced senseless figures on it.
When he finally pulled away, both shared the stupidest grins.
“That felt right, at least.”
Maybe it was the dress, or the kiss, or the situation, or simply Wooseok, but for the first time in years you laughed the way you did back then, and he did the same. Silently, you thanked to the objects next to you for helping you recreate a new cherished memory, although you were sure you wouldn’t need anything to remember this one.
The coffee went cold as the two of you kept talking about the past, confessing each other small secrets, some reminiscing of ancient times while others were incredibly recent, like him saying he was really happy when you cured the small wound on his face, or you telling him that you really loved his voice when he sang and that you wanted to hear it again since that night, or him explaining that the reason why he always left was because he didn’t trust his friend Seungyoun to take care of his apartment not one bit (sometimes threatening him to move his whole studio there).
A familiar melody caught your attention, making you grab your phone and pick up the call ignoring Wooseok’s mocking faces (“that’s my song”), nodding a few times before hanging up.
“The party is about to finish… do you want to walk with me there? It’s not very far away from here.”
“Sure, but under one condition.” You hummed for him to continue as you got up. “Keep the dress on. It really looks pretty on you.”
If it weren’t because you were in a rush, you would have called him out on his cheesiness, but secretly you appreciated it. “Shut up.”
Not ten minutes later you were already walking down the street, close to each other without being able to erase your silly grins from your faces. As you got close to the address, you saw your son running towards you, immediately blabbering about all he had done during the day and greeting Wooseok as if nothing. A few blocks later, he was complaining about walking, saying he was too tired for it and demanding to be picked up and of course Wooseok gave in immediately, the child falling asleep on his shoulder in record time as you continued walking. You felt a small touch on your hand, turning to see the male’s fingers hitting yours on purpose while pretending to look away until you finally held his hand, intertwining your fingers with his.
“You know…” His voice was soft as if to not wake up the toddler. “I could get used to this.” His eyes dropped to your hands and then to his other arm holding your kid. “If you agree on it, of course.”
The tightness in your throat didn’t let you answer, just like the day he had handed you the letter, but this time you simply nodded and kissed the back of his hand, ignoring the pressure in your chest. “I would like that.”
Wooseok pressed his lips together, his eyes becoming small as he tried to hide his happiness.
“I would like that too.”
A sleepy voice added its opinion: “Me too!”
I’m... quite proud of this one. Yes, it’s fucking long for the kind of stories I tend to write but it just;; happened;;; I really hope you enjoyed it tho kasjkdjks. I was going to try and make the child gender neutral but since I wanted them to interact plenty with the kid I just went for he/him pronouns to fit the gif ^^;

Piece of Peace ✩ Wooseok x Reader
Pairing: Kim Wooseok x Reader
Genre: Fluff. Major Fluff. Toothache Fluff.
Song Recommendation: Dreams Come True by NCT 127 & Piece of Peace by J-Hope
It was one of those beautiful spring days, and you were sitting on the window seat in the apartment that you shared with your boyfriend, Wooseok. You were just gazing out onto the field in front of you, taking note of the boats that were scattered over the sea, you sighed happily which caught the attention of Wooseok as he gazed over at you, he smiled at the sight of you and closed his laptop in an instant before walking over to you, sitting beside you, “Love, why don’t we take a walk? The beach looks pretty right now, don’t you think?” You felt your cheeks flush as you listened to his words, before looking up into his deep brown eyes, nodding softly as you tugged your bottom lip into your teeth, “I’ll go get dressed!” You jumped up, taking off to your room and getting dressed in a long pale yellow dress that was one of Wooseok’s favourites.
Not long after, you joined your boyfriend downstairs as you slipped on a cardigan, then felt his arms snake around you, “Why are you just so damn gorgeous?” He whispered softly against the side of your face before pressing a soft kiss against your cheek, “I ask the same thing whenever I wake up in your arms,” You spoke softly, before turning around to face him and smiled a little at the way he gazed at you, you could practically feel the fondness radiating from the way he looked at you, his small smile where his teeth peak at you had your heart beating incredibly fast, you quickly pressed a peck to his lips before pulling him along to the beach after he locked up the apartment, living by the beach was one of your requests when he asked you to move in with him, something that Wooseok definitely started to love his new home the more he lived there, the way it was so peaceful and calm, it feels like an entirely different world where time stops until he has to go back to his idol duties.
Soon enough, you both reached the shore, you smiled looking around before closing your eyes letting the cool wind hit your face then you kicked off your shoes and ran towards the water. Wooseok leaned down, picking up your shoes before joining you along the edge of the water, he smiled as he watched you danced in the water, he felt his heart tighten at the sight, the way your hair danced in the wind, the bright sun hitting your face perfectly, he bit his lip before reaching out and taking your hand, pulling you into his chest, with a small smirk, with his hands holding your face, he leaned in and kissed you softly, it didn’t take long before it turned into something passionate then you pulled away, “Wh-what was that for? We’re in public, baby..” Your words coming out in a pout as he was still holding your face, looking in his eyes feeling your cheeks burn red at the way he was looking at you, “Because you’re my piece of peace and I don’t care. I want everyone to know that I’m dating the human personification of the sun.” He glanced towards the bright sun as he made his statement before back to you, noticing that you were pouting as tears began to fall, “Oh, don’t cry~” He cooed at you, wiping your tears away, holding you close with one hand on the back of your head, petting your hair, “I just don’t want to hide my love for you anymore. I want everyone to know that I’ve found my person.” You listened to his words, whining a little as you couldn’t believe how perfect he was and felt your heart beat incredibly fast, and in that moment you knew he was your first and last.
A/N: i love this... the way i cried whilst writing this??? wooseok really just is my love and writing about him is so soothing,,, i love him.

get to bed love ༄ kim wooseok
↳ boyfriend wooseok takes care of sick reader; 0.3k
“Y/N wake up.” He sighed at the sniffly girl sat before him on her desk fast asleep, “Y/N you should be resting on the bed like I left you what are you doing here?” His hands gently shook her until she gave up. She lifted her head groggily, wiping under her nose with her sleeve before simply laying her forehead against his stomach as he stood before her. His hands gently carded through her hair as he smiled ever so gently at her.
“Wooseok I have to finish this report in time. Please let me finish it?”
His eyes stared down at her, he examined quietly looking at the bags that rested beneath her eyes, and her very low will to move. His head shifted in the direction of her laptop, phone, and notebook, he simply shook his head before sighing, “I’ll let you finish, on these conditions: you stay in bed while you do this, you eat before you get started, and you sleep at your regular time.” She grinned softly up at him, he gently leaned down and placed a chaste kiss against her forehead smiling, “Now get to bed love, I’ll starting making food. Don’t worry about it, I’ll take everything you need there too.”
༄
Wooseok sat in bed with Y/N watching as she tiredly typed away on her computer. “You should get to bed love, or would you like to continued typing till you fall asleep and wake up with a neck cramp for not deciding to take a break and sleep?” He smiled gently as her tired head landed against his shoulder lazily, her eyelids closing before opening slowly, “Fine. You win Wooseok.” His smiled widened, he was content, he then stood up and put away each of her things, and came back to adjust the bed.
He joined her in bed shortly, pulling her close as they laid with her back against his chest. He turned off the lights and kissed her head giggling quietly to himself as he heard her deep breathing,
“Goodnight love.”

Over The Weekend Part 1.5
Genre: Fluff Returns
Bias: UP10TION Xiao (Lee Dong Yeol)
Bias X Reader (Y/N)
————————
The bell rang for lunch and you slammed your book closed way too hard. A couple classmates seated near you eyes you briefly before you snapped a cross ‘what?’ at them as you stretched your tense back.
You’d been in a bad mood all morning since the interaction with Hwanhee, that girl, Bo, and Dongyeol. Although, the girl had stuck up for you to Hwanhee, it did nothing for who’s reactions you were annoyingly aware of, all the time.
Dongyeol.
You picked up your own and frustratedly scratched scribbles in your notebook. Bo, who had briefly popped out to go to the snack bar, came bustling back in towards you at lightening speed. Bo grabbed your arm and began pulling. You resisted at first. Scowling at her antics.
“Why are you pulling me?”
“Just come on! Trust me!”
You groaned and let her drag you out of the classroom and into the hallway where the windows overlooked the small courtyard of the school. Bo pointed at three boys standing in the courtyard, faces off like a bad western. Your heart jumped. You could spot Dongyeol miles away. And you could hear Hwanhee miles away. But the third boy...
“That’s J!” Bo pipped. “I saw him sitting out there sleeping.or something. When Hwanhee and Dongyeol walked up to him.”
“What do you think they’re saying?” You asked with your throat in your chest.
“Well I know J better be saying how there is literally nothing between you two and Hwanhee comes back up here to apologize and Dongyeol—“
“It doesn’t look like any of that..” You noted, eyes still on the boys. Dongyeol’s jaw has stiffened and so had J’s. Hwanhee’s hands were waving in the air, his chest stuck so far out, it looked like it was inflated. With hot air. You presumed. Then before you knew it, J was turning his back on Dongyeol and Hwanhee and walking away. You frowned.
“What’s that all about?” Bo pondered aloud. You shrugged and moved away from the window. Leaning against the wall just by the doorway of the classroom.
“Who cares?” You tried to sound nonchalant. Bo saw right through it and rolled her eyes.
“You do. I bet—“
“Y/N!” a guy’s voice called out to you in the hallway, cutting Bo off. You both turned and saw J approaching.
“Hey, J. What’s up?” You smiled at your friend. J handed you a box of chocolate milk.
“You said you like sweet drinks.”
“Oh?” You sputtered caught slightly off guard. “Yeah. Thanks?” You laughed a little to keep from feeling awkward. J scratched the back of his head slightly and smiled through the sudden awkwardness as well. Bo stood directly at a 45 degree angle from both of you and absolutely soaked up the whole situation in complete silence. J’s eyes flitted to Bo for a brief second before landing on the hall behind you.
“I just wanted to say thanks again for the help. I feel like i’m gonna pass the test this time.”
“That’s great! Confidence is key!” You babbled. Eyebrows flinching and betraying your exterior carefree attitude. J laughed regardless.
“I guess so.” J paused. “Hey, if i really does pass. I’ll owe you a movie.”
Bo’s eyebrows practically took off flying. Your eyes widened a bit, but you kept your composure.
“I’ll hold you to that.” You teased. You wouldn’t really. But then again, maybe you would...if he was even serious, anyway. J smiled a reassured smile that made you think twice about being so nonchalant. He nodded at both you and Bo before leaving for his classroom. Bo slid up next to you.
“How much do you wanna bet he told Dongyeol and Hwanhee that he likes you down there.”
“What?? J?? No way!” You rejected one hushed tones. Bo folded her arms and shook her head in shame at your denial.
“You can’t even tell what’s important here.”
“And what’s that Know-It-All?” You started to turn to walk back into the classroom. Bo followed you, speaking excitedly but in low tones.
“You saw them down in that courtyard! If J really was down there confessing his feelings for you to Dongyeol and Hwanhee, then that means Dongyeol didn’t like what he heard!”
That stopped you in your tracks. You managed to plod your way back to your seat and began fiddling with your books. Not sure how to feel. Delusional? Excited? Worried about a misunderstanding? If Dongyeol thought J liked you, and he also thought that you two were sharing chocolate milk from the same straw in public...what else would be left to think of? On the other hand, if J did confess to Dongyeol his feelings about you, and Dongyeol didn’t like it, that had to mean it was because Dongyeol likes you, right? Would he fight for you? Would he try to win your favor first? Should you play as if you know nothing? Did you, in fact, actually know anything though?? As your worries and hopes crashed and swirled together in your mind, you felt Bo slyly poke you back to reality. Bo hissed,
“Look who’s on his way over.”
It was Dongyeol. Holding a glass bottle close to his side. When he reached your desk he simply smiled at you and put the drink down on it.
“I know you like these. Hazlenut latte...right?”
Your heart skipped at his smile. You managed to get out,
“Right.”

[ 13:26 // 15.10.19 // FLUFF ] It was a perfect weather for you to rest in the Saturday’s morning. Lying on the bed, fingers busy searching for the chips you’ve been craving for and the other hand controlled the channel that was playing on your room’s television. At least that was what you expected of during the weekdays. Not doing something tiring such as taking several pictures of someone that probably wasn’t that professional enough to be called as the ‘Nation’s CF Princess’. Well, that’s what you personally thought of her, in which happened to be very contrary with Wooseok’s opinions. Maybe you were jealous, or maybe you just dislike her presence around Wooseok—
“Baby listen, we’re just co-workers—” “Oh do your so-called co-worker’s mood changed according to your presence around her? She would be extra soft and happy when you’re nearby and more terrifying than a devil could be when you aren’t around?” Your arms were crossing across your chest, lower lips puffed out to show how sulky you were at the sight of the idol being so touchy over your boyfriend, which was also known as the CEO Kim of the company. The expression you displayed to Wooseok was a very cute one, as the latter one chuckled in silent before cupping your cheeks and made you face him. “I guess my princess is jealous?” Your lips were gently touched by the older one as soon as you were about to say something. “Why should you be jealous over something that wasn’t mine at all to begin with?”

for you, i’d risk the world
march 12 2016
you watched the lights of daejeon light up from the roof of your apartment. the pink and orange hues of the sky contrasted the faux brightness that seeped its way into each nook and cranny of your neighbourhood. you watched school children sneak back into their houses, afraid their parents would catch them in their teenage shenanigans. you watched adults stepping out of their cars, tired from work, joy etched on their faces knowing that they had a bed waiting for them. to them, today was an ordinary day. they’d live out this day a thousand times. you envied them, with all the hurt that you had bottled up in yourself, collected from today, 2 years ago.
you tried to resent him. you tried every method to hate him. ex boyfriend! wooseok was insufferable. he was the epitome of happiness to you. the light he brought into your life was incomparable to the street lamps that guided the residents of daejeon into their homes. you tried to forget him. the excessive drinking and isolation caused pain but the pain wooseok had left you hurt more. in the end, you accepted it, it was a part of you.
his decision to move to seoul was abrupt, but you were happy for him at first. in the years you knew him, his passion for entertaining others was prevalent. he has the voice of an angel. in the nights you couldn’t sleep, he was there to sing for you. those nights were the most memorable, they were the nights where you slept well, without creeping doubt for the day that would come. you knew wooseok could be that person to thousands of other people.
perhaps you did forget him for a while. wooseok was a beautiful soul and you forever thanked destiny for his existence in your life. but as he debuted, his visuals gained attention from all of korea. he got offers from beauty companies all over the country, and his face was everywhere. soon enough, the memories flooded in your head. getting caught up in a tsunami would be less excruciating. the gratitude you felt for him soon turned into anger. you were angry that he could be so selfish. didn’t he think of you? when he smiled in vlives, laughed with his members, did he really mean it?
august 15 2019
he changed. so did you. it was nearing his second debut. wooseok would be charming the world again. his fanbase was steadily increasing. he was living his dream. you had realised that wooseok achieved true happiness. maybe it was you who was holding him back. the time you were with him was a beautiful time. he gave you unforgettable memories, and you gave him a temporary peace of mind. but his heart was longing to be an idol, and you had to accept that.
of course it still hurt - he was your home, but for kim wooseok, you could bare the pain lingering in your heart.

omg aaaa you're writing for u10t!!!! could you please do kuhn reacting to y/n being embarrassingly clumsy in public? 💕
Such a cute request and my first ever U10T thing to write, I hope you like it >.

[Up10tion - Kuhn] Reaction to you being embarrassingly clumsy in public
It’s around the third time that you trip over your own feet today when Sooil’s expression turns from a worried one into just a sigh. He still grabs a hold of your arm though to keep you from falling. He couldn’t bear seeing you get hurt despite him being able to avoid it.
“What’s up with you today? You’re worse than usual…” he comments. There’s an amused grin on his lips, but in his eyes you can still see how he’s worried about you. You assure it’s fine and that you just didn’t sleep enough. You promise yourself to be more careful now so he can relax too, but the second you get to your regular café and attempt to sit down with your drink, you spill it all over you, the table, and the floor. Thankfully it was an iced drink so you don’t burn yourself, but now you still have to return home and change clothes. In distress you immediately attempt to dry yourself, and Sooil and a staff member help cleaning up the whole mess. You’re even offered a free drink because the staff feels bad for you, but honestly you’d rather just disappear in the ground somewhere. Sooil does think you’re cute when you’re clumsy like this, but he also notices how uncomfortable you feel and he offers taking you to his place to get away from the public. However, you decline.
“What if I keep destroying things there?” you argue, but he puts an arm around you with a half smile, shaking his head.
“You’ll be fine. I’ll protect you, so nothing bad will happen anymore.”
You keep apologizing for embarrassing him in public, but he puts his index finger over your lips and pulls you even closer.
“I said you’ll be fine,” he repeats. With a wink he adds, “And if you don’t stop worrying I’ll have to carry you home princess style!”

Up10tion Reaction: Seeing you again after tour
this wasnt requested but i wanted to celebrate Wooseok coming back from hiatus so here we are!! <3
also im sorry for not posting for so long i suck
admin lil
Jinhoo:
He will be so emotional, honestly. He never likes leaving you, so while the tour is fun, once he gets alone, he just thinks about how you aren’t there. Seeing you again after months of being apart just brings tears to his eyes because he missed you so much and you are finally with him again.
Sooil:
He would be such a love-struck bean. One look at your face after only seeing on a screen for months would make him go all heart eyes. His heart would race, his palms would get sweaty and he would stutter. He would fall in love with you all over again.
Minsoo:
Touchy. Very touchy. He’s not a big skinship fan but he hadn’t touched your skin in months so he planned to hold you until you couldn’t stand it and then kiss your lips until they fell off.
Sungjun:
A whiny baby. He would immediately try to convince you to come with him on the next tour, and would not take no for an answer. He never wanted to spend months without you ever again.
Changhyun:
This usually quiet baby is so talkative when he sees you. He held back his feelings of missing you during the tour to stay happy but seeing you brought those feelings back up, and he was going to tell you how much he missed you in great detail.
i couldnt find a good gif im sorry
Wooseok:
A little shit. Honestly, he would surprise you and not tell you when he was coming home. Once he saw you though, his usually stoic face became all smiles and he would wrap you in his arms, kissing every part of your face he could reach. He was with his happiness again.
Yein:
This precious angel is just so happy to see you again. He seems to be more physical when he’s down or overwhelmed, kind of like he’s grounding himself. Seeing you would strike so many emotions so he would wrap you in his arms, to feel you and also to remind himself that you were actually there.
Gyujin:
Very smiley. A whole smiley baby. The smile would show up when he saw you first and didn’t leave until his cheeks forced himself to not smile anymore. He was just so elated to see you again.
Hwanhee:
He is kind of a tough case. Outwardly, he would smile and kiss you, but wouldn’t make a fuss out of it. However, inwardly, he’s very emotional. Seeing you again made him realize how much he actually missed you and he never wanted to leave you again.
Dongyeol:
Your boyfriend turned into a koala. Seeing you again would make him treasure the time with you he had before his schedules started again, so he would cling to you and rarely let you go. He wanted to remind you how much he loved you through the cuddles he missed so much.

UP10TION REACTIONS
Reaction: Kissing Another Member for a Dare
KIM JINWOOK ▫ JINHOO
Irritated as he watched you lean over and kiss Xiao, he began to think things and thought maybe you’d leave him now for his friend. He’d be distant for the rest of the night until you told him you would never leave him after a silly kiss.
NO SUL IL ▫ KUHN
Confused, he wasn’t all familiar with truth or dare so when you got dared to kiss Jinhoo he’d shoot everyone a weird glare as if asking ‘are you for real?’ afterwards he’d pull you into his lap and kiss you repeatedly.
KO MIN SOO ▫ KOGYEOL
Mature about it, he knew it was just for a stupid game and wouldn’t get fussy over it. Afterwards you’d apologise and he’d just kiss you softly and tell you he knew how hot he was and that you would never leave him for ‘that.’
LEE SUNG JUN ▫ WEI
Pouty, he’d be so upset that he has to watch you kiss Kuhn and be clingy for the rest of the night with you, and end up being the one apologising later for being upset but you forgave him and told him the kiss was just a kiss.
LEE CHANG HYUN ▫ BIT-TO
Confused at first he would wonder what was happening and why it was, roughly pulling you off Kogyeol and shooting him a confused and angry look while the others bursted out with laughter. You explained to him you guys were playing spin the bottle.
KIM WOO SEOK ▫ WOOSHIN
Nope. Nup. Nu uh. No. He was not happy with the rules of losing truth or dare since he knew you were going to be the main target of the game. It was simple, you back out of a dare or truth you have the give the asker a kiss. He pulled you out of there and spent the rest of the night with you.
SEON YE IN ▫ SUNYOUL
Okay with the situation, you lost a bet so it was only fair. You’d give him a look of ‘why are you encouraging this’ causing him to smirk. As soon as it was over and the others left he would pin you down to the couch and begin leaving purple blossoms, a clue to the night ahead.
HANG YU JIN ▫ GYUNJIN
Oh boy you’re in trouble as soon as your lips touched Kogyeol’s, he couldn’t bare to watch you and him so he simply locked himself in his room. You shared a confused look with the others, so you went and asked him what’s wrong only to have his dominant side come out. “On your knees now princess.”
LEE HWAN HEE ▫ HWANHEE
Upset that he had to see that, he’d be confused as to why you would cheat on him only for you to explain later on that it was Gyunjin who came onto you and kissed you. He could feel relief in his chest but he still didn’t hesitate to go after his member and yell at him.
LEE DONG YEOL ▫ XIAO
Uhm, he’d be blushy and all red when you pecked Hwanhee’s lips quickly for a stupid dare. He would pull you into his lap after and smother your face in kisses causing you to giggle and swat him away.

UP10TION Scenarios
5. CHANCE
JINWOOK: Although he was smiling you can tell something was bothering him. You were being careful as to not spoil his mood. He looked happy anyway, so you decided not to ask. But in the end your curiosity won. “Perhaps you have something to tell me?” In reply, he dropped his gaze on his coffee and mumbled, “I do but it can wait till tomorrow, I think.” Your heart throbbed in excitement. On the other hand it made his heart race as well, remembering the tiny black velvet box lying peacefully in his drawer back home.
SOOIL: Hanging out with him was never boring. No matter what he said was too funny for you. Luckily the other customers were busy with their own conversations. No one paid you attention in that diner. “Will you ever stop being funny? It feels like I’ve been laughing for two hours straight,” you said, grinning. “You’re too serious. Take things lightly. You should laugh more.” Grateful, you stared at him with his words still ringing in your ears. For him it’s the sound of your laugh that he likes to hear.
MINSOO: Admiring the exterior of the coffee shop, you suddenly got the impulse to buy something to drink from it. The tiny bell rang when you opened the French doors. The interior was more classy and beautiful. It was like you were somewhere in Europe. The feeling of someone looking at you made you turn your head. And there he was, sitting alone with a cup of coffee in front of him. You thought you saw him smile at you before you looked away.
JINHYUK: Confused and surprised, you stared at him. Seeing him outside your house wasn’t a normal thing for you. “What are you doing out here?” he asked before you could say anything. It should be you asking him that question. “I live near here,” you responded casually. “What are you doing here? You’re not from here.” He put his hands in his pockets and sighed. “I’m just passing.” The answer sounded uncertain to you. “I’ll be going then,” you said, leaving him dismayed that he didn’t talk to you longer when he actually waited for you.
CHANGHYUN: What he’s playing on the piano made you want to close your eyes, but you didn’t. You can’t help but admire him. He’s always a surprise. The music stopped and he said, “Come here.” He patted the space beside him. “Let’s play that piece we practiced before.” Immediately you remembered the notes of the piece he taught you years ago. He began playing the first notes and then you followed. You were too focused with the keys that you didn’t notice he was smiling every time your fingers brushed with his.
WOOSEOK: “Sorry I won’t be able to meet you right now. I’ll call you later,” you told him on the phone. You really wanted to see him but you just can’t say no to your boss. Work was the reason why didn’t get to spend quality time with him sometimes. “Alright, don’t stay out late,” he advised. “I’ll wait for your call.” The excitement in his steps died as he signed off for work. He understood how you busy were. Maybe today’s not really the right time for you to know.
YEIN: “Are you going to leave?” he asked after you stood up. You heard a hint of sadness in his voice and noticed a crease on his forehead. “Well, it’s getting dark and we’re done studying anyway.” He was already packing his textbooks in his bag that littered the table. “I’m not,” you corrected him. “I’m thinking of going to the convenience store, do you want anything?” The patrons in the public library were leaving one by one, so he thought you might do the same. “Don’t go alone. I’ll go there with you,” he said. “Okay,” you responded, trying hard not to smile.
GYUJIN: The subway was already crowded when it arrived at the station. It’s the rush hour and you’re thankful to be able to catch it. Your eyelids were drooping in tiredness, but you fought sleep. There’s not a seat available, so you can’t afford to lose your balance. As the subway was approaching the next station, you turned to look at your left where he was standing beside you. Finally the train halted, with him bumping into you gently. It was awkward and accidental—a kiss on the forehead that wasn’t really a kiss. “I’m sorry,” the tall guy mumbled. You peeked at him only to see him blushing in embarrassment.
HWANHEE: Sighing, you blinked your eyes as you get your books from your locker. You left your glasses at home again, or so you thought. He was standing beside you when you closed the locker door. “You dropped this,” he uttered, handing your notepad back. “Thank you,” you said, smiling. “I didn’t notice. Like how I forgot wearing my glasses.” You’ve never talked to him casually like this before. Suddenly it felt good seeing him. He smiled and pointed at your head. “Turns out you forgot you’re wearing them,” he said, smirking. That smirk added to the reasons why you got flustered.
DONGYEOL: Tiny drops of rain began falling. Too dazed at the look he was giving you, you ignored it. “Would you change if i… if I tell you,” he stuttered. “Since I met you, I’m always happy. I like being with you.” he pulled on the hood of your jacket to shield you from the drizzle. Now that you noticed it, his proximity caused your mind to malfunction. He even took a step closer, making you speechless. “I want you to know that I like you. Do you feel the same about me?” he asked expectantly. “Yes,” you breathed, nodding your head in reply. He smiled, taking your hand.

First | Kim Wooseok
Request:
Can I request this Wooseok fluff where he's like this total boyfriend material on their date?? Like the ultimate boyfriend material 🥺 sorry i'm just whipped for Wooseok aknsalzn
↬ Pairing: Wooseok x fem!reader.
↬ Genre: Fluff.
↬ Warnings: none.
↬ Word Count: 1.8k
↬ Song recommendation: First by Jooyoung ft. SOLE.
↬ A/N: I’m obsessed with the way that Wooseok looks while wearing coats so I’ll leave two beautiful examples here because I just had to add it to the scenario: example one, example two. And black haired Wooseok????? Fuck.
No matter how many times you two did this, he still felt a tiny bit nervous. It wasn’t your first date at all, if anything it was almost the tenth time you got to meet up with him, but Wooseok couldn’t get over the warm sensation on the pit of his stomach. Knowing that he would get to see you again always made him smile involuntarily, staring down to the floor in order to hide his bashful expression. The relationship was barely starting and he still couldn’t get used to the way his lungs tightened whenever you stood too close to him.
As soon as he felt the slight tap on his shoulder he had gotten used to, his heart jolted, eyes almost glinting as he greeted you. Usually he would say something that was kind of flirtatious, but his confidence tended to waver whenever he was in front of you, afraid that if he messed up you would hear just how loud his heart beat whenever you were near him and finally discover how intense his feelings for you really were.
You started to walk aimlessly, not really caring where it would take you since it was enjoyable simply being next to him. He listened intently to each and all of your words, keeping silent while his stare dropped to your fingers, his own fidgeting as he held back the impulse to intertwine them with yours. So far, he had deducted that physical contact didn’t really bother you, but there was a part of him that still wanted to be careful around you since he didn’t want you to think that he was trying to take advantage of the situation nor anything like that. After all, being like this and get to see you was all he needed.
There was that protective aura coming off from Wooseok: he always looked serious and calm, inwardly analyzing every single thing around him and always aware of his surroundings. He proved this once again as he eyed the street, his hands grabbing your shoulders and moving you slightly so that you would walk on the other side when he saw motorbikes pass by, and there weren’t enough gods for you to thank them that he wasn’t looking your way, your cheeks burning profusely.
When you spotted shiny lights, there was nothing holding back your excitement, grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the fair that was close by. Even when you had reached your destination, none of you let go of each other, thanking the opportunity to finally feel the other closer. Your fingers felt cold against his slim ones and he took the chance to stick both of your hands on the pocket of his coat, your whole system warming up at the sweet action.
“Oh? There is one of those arm wrestling games over there… The boys are always bragging about how you are good at it.” He shrugged his shoulders, already mustering up his strength. “Care to show?”
He let out a small sigh, leaning his head to a side. “This will be easy, just watch.”
It wasn’t easy. Most of the time that kind of games were a bit rigged just so that people would lose his money, but this time it was about Wooseok’s pride and he was not going to lose that. At least not in front of you. His stare was penetrating the still fighter in front of him, expression slightly trembling as the game started, his arm hurting a bit with the burning but still not giving up, a small victory scream coming out of his lips as he finally beat the machine.
“Oh~” His lips formed a tiny proud pout at your reaction. “That was pretty amazing, I must say.”
The seller didn’t seem very happy with the situation though, probably since he thought that he would lose because of how slim he looked. “You get to choose any of the prices for beating in record time.”
“That one big bear looks nice, don’t you think?” His brows furrowed as you ignored his suggestion and chose a small cat plushie instead, not quite understanding why you would go for it when you could have chosen something better or bigger.
“It looks like you, so I want to take it home with me.”
If anyone else had said that to him, he would have probably started to say that there was no way and complain uselessly, but since it was you, his stomach flipped around with joy, quickly pulling his turtle neck up so that you wouldn’t catch the dumb smile he had plastered on his face.
The smell of food filled the air, the sound of your stomach grumbling made him laugh as he walked to one of the fast food places, pretending to try and read the prices as he waited right behind of you in the line and hugging you tightly. It wasn’t conscious, really, because otherwise he would have gotten extremely flustered. You had come to realize that much: Wooseok would unconsciously become touchy whenever he was near you, holding your hands out of nowhere or playing with your hair, even holding you close like now, but the second he snapped out of it, his cheeks could reflect what you imagined hell was like.
After buying some food and eating it, he proposed to get on the Ferris wheel, saying that “the view must be amazing at this time” when really he just wanted it to be the two of you alone for a little while. It was hard for him to be completely open and upfront about his feelings which took him to create witty plans to get whatever he wanted.
You expected him to take a seat by your side, the way every single couple did in this kind of rides, secretly holding the wish that you two could finally have your first kiss when the wagon reached the top, your fantasy crumbling instantly as he sat right in front of you. It slightly disappointed you but the excitement from the view was way bigger, holding the plushie tightly against you, jealousy striking Wooseok as he glared at the big inexpressive eyes of the toy wishing to be in his place. He chose to focus on your face and the way your smile became bigger as you looked outside the window, the city lights illuminating your facial features in the most adorable way.
He started to remember you two met, introduced by Seungyoun, the awkwardness that lingered almost through the whole date until he tripped while walking you home and how the sound of your laugh captivated greatly. Or on your second date, when you chose to watch an action movie at the cinema without telling him it was in 4D, giggling at each of his exaggerated reactions. Many would tell him he looked intimidating, others simply stating that he had a mysterious aura, but when he had asked you what was your first impression of him, you simply said “warm”.
“What are you thinking about?” Your voice pulled him out of his trance, blinking a few times without knowing exactly what to reply.
So he just said the first thing that came to mind. “I really like you.”
The sudden confession had you blushing and he stumbled with his own words as he realized what he just said. You noticed that you were close to the top, your body fidgeting to get up and do something, but it wasn’t enough… so you just held the plushie in front of you and gave it a small kiss, Wooseok freezing in place, slowly putting the pieces together and there was never a moment where he felt more embarrassed. He didn’t quite think about the romantic location he had chosen to take you, and when he was about to take action, it was the end of the ride.
As you got off the Ferris wheel, he noticed your slight shudder at the cold breeze and saw it as an opportunity to pull the cheesiest move and recover from his previous failure, taking off his scarf and wrapping it around your neck instead, a proud smile spreading on his face as he saw the color in your cheeks. You had enough of you being always the one getting shy in front of him, seeing how smug he always looked whenever he managed to get you like this, so reuniting every bit of courage in your being, you held the slope of his coat and pulled him towards you, your lips grazing his cheek softly, causing him to open his eyes wide, jaw dropping down as he tried to compose himself, but that wasn’t happening any time soon.
It seemed as if you had won until he suddenly turned you around and held the extremities of his scarf, pulling you closer and pecking your lips, the contact lasting barely a few seconds but it felt like a whole eternity. There was a new kind of cold running up and down your body, immediately replaced by an insane warmth that could make the air around you evaporate in the blink of an eye. He pulled out his phone, hugging you from the back and placing his chin on your shoulder, taking advantage of your shock to take a selfie.
Looking at the picture now made him smile, even after a few years. That was the real start of everything, at least for him. There were too many first times for him: your first kiss, your first picture together, and the first time he thought about building a future with someone. So far, so good, he thought, staring at the frames hanging on the small shared apartment that showed all the memories that you two built for the past three years.
“Are you ready to go?” He turned around at your voice, his eyes taking in your outfit as he got up, sliding his hands around your waist. At times he thought about how naturally the action came out now, as if the things had always been like this between you two.
“You look absolutely stunning.”
You giggled at his compliment, fixing the neck of his shirt. “So do you. Now let’s go before we miss the reservation.”
He followed behind you, his heart beating faster just like that one time, although the reason was completely different from the one back then, the small box on the pocket of his blazer becoming extremely heavy as if demanding to be opened right then and there with the promise of another first time approaching.
I wrote this whole scenario so messily because literally as I was describing one scene, another came into mind and so I had to write it down quickly and then go back to the previous one and I just... I love Wooseok so much, I hope that whoever dates him takes care of his beautiful heart.

❥ Heartbeat | Kim Wooseok x Reader
You couldn’t pin point the exact moment when you were finally faced with your feelings for him, you just remember the way his voice started to sound like a symphony that you could listen to on repeat, you remember the way his hair falls perfectly into place when he turns quick to look at you, the way he bends to look into your eyes to make sure he isn’t intimidating you, the way he calls your name, everything about him made you feel like you were on a ferris wheel and you were stuck at the top where the air feels light and everything just looks beautiful. Wooseok was the reason your heart beat could never settle.
While your heart could take the fact that this was happening, your mind couldn’t help but remind you of how terrifying this is because how were you supposed to act around your best friend? You felt like everyone could tell almost as if the moment you figured it out, so did your parents, your friends and classmates yet you didn’t care about them. It was a constant battle between your mind and your heart on whether to tell him, how to act when you see him and the idea of him being into you too was something you couldn’t bring yourself to think about as an option. To you, Wooseok was perfect. In every single way. To you, he deserved someone that was confident, someone that was tall and incredibly beautiful.
With your head hanging low and thoughts going back and forth, the anxiety of meeting him soon hit you as it was tradition to meet him at the café nearest to school, you looked up to see him waving at you before returning to his conversation with his friends, even just the slight glance he made at you caused your heart beat to quicken in its pace as you felt your feet begin to take you right to him, you smiled brightly up at him as you reached him, “Hi Wooseok-ah,” you spoke softly, tucking the stray strands of your hair behind your ear, as you tilted your head to the side a little to take in his features, watching as he snapped his head to look at you, his hair falling perfectly into place, “Y/N~” He cooed at you, bending down to look into your eyes, “Don’t want to intimidate you.” He spoke and you felt yourself getting drunk on his voice because of how beautiful he sounded.
“You never do~” You looked into his eyes, beaming at him with your bright smile then you felt his hand take yours into a soft grip before tugging you gently, both of you beginning your walk to school. Boom boom. Your heart beat didn’t slow down once and you couldn’t remove your eyes from the way your hand felt so safe in his, the way you felt safe just being around him, it wasn’t until he cleared his throat that you ripped your eyes away to look at him, he smirked at you before intertwining your fingers together, “This is nice.” He remarked and you swear you could feel your heart almost come out of your chest.
“Y/N?”
“Hmm?”
“You look extremely pretty today.”
You hadn’t even noticed that he had stopped you both from walking any further as he walks towards you slowly, your breathe caught firmly in your throat, staring right in his eyes, then you felt your back hit a fence but he didn’t stop his pace until he was just inches from your face.
“W-wooseok.” You whispered lightly, looking up at him through your eyelashes, your cheeks burning from the current situation. You noticed the way he lifted his hand and something in you prayed that he wouldn’t touch your cheek, or you’ll just crumble, his eyes looked to your cheeks as a smirk played on his lips, “You’re so red, doll.” He whispered, his eyes fluttered back to yours then down to your lips, raising his eyebrows before taking something from behind you and placing it into the palm of your hand. You looked down to see a beautiful orange flower, before looking up at him, this time he had taken a few steps back. With a smile, you reached up and kissed his cheek, “Thank you, Wooseok-ah.” He returned the smile before tugging you along to get to school.
“Oh. Y/N, how about a study date later?”
A/N this really just came out of nowhere. i just wanted to write something fluffy after watching extraordinary you, because it really inspired me. i didn’t know what exactly until i started listening to heartbeat by bts and then this happened... i actually really like it :( i love wooseok so much... writing about him means i get to compliment his entire being and others get to read exactly how impactful he is to me... he’s a beautiful person, inside and out :( i miss him. anyways,, i rlly hope that y’all are well!!! i’m going to try and post something at least once a day.

Hopeless Love
Chapter 03.
I woke up pretty happy as I got ready for school. My mom knew of my crush on Wooseok since probably forever. She’s always wanted us to be together. She is that mom but I know it’s probably not going to happen and I told her that. She told me to not lose any hope. She thinks he does like me but she’s crazy. I don’t think he does so I’m trying to move on.
“Hey,” Wooseok said as soon as I caught up to him.
“Hey,” I said.
“How was your date?”
“It was actually nice. He was nice.”
“That’s good.” He smiled. “I’m glad you had a good time. Otherwise, I’d probably have to kick Seungyoun's ass.”
I chuckled. “Stop. It’s only one date.”
We talked non-stop about it, because he was curious it seemed like.
“Hey, Eunae-yah!”I heard Seungyoun’s voice.
I slightly turned myself around and there he was.
“Hi,” I said.
I saw Wooseok turned his head but then turned to look forward again.
I stopped walking so he could catch up but Wooseok kept on going. I guess he’s not going to wait for me.
“How are you doing today?” he asked me.
I smiled slightly. “I’m good. You?”
“Good. So, uh, did you want to go out this weekend?”
“Sure!” I said.
I started noticing people were looking at us. I wasn’t ever with any other guy that wasn’t with Wooseok. I think they know something is up.
“What did you want to do?” he asked me.
“Hm, I don’t know,” I said. “Maybe the park this time? We could have a nice picnic and then walk around.”
“Wow, that sounds nice. For sure, we can do that.”
“I’ll pack us some-”
“No,” he cut me off. “I wanna do it.”
I smiled at him. “You really trying to impress me or what?”
We were at my homeroom.
He shrugged and then smiled. “Maybe. There is no other way to treat a beautiful girl.”
I could feel a blush coming on and no one’s ever done that to me before other than Wooseok. Yet, here I am. Still talking about him. Focus.
“Stop it,” I said as I looked down to hide my blush and I slightly hit him on the arm.
He chuckled. “I’ll see you later.”
“See you.”
He walked away as we got done saying goodbye.
I went into homeroom and I saw Wooseok sitting there. He had his earphones in listening to music. Maybe already studying because his book was open and he was writing. He liked to do this when he was thinking.
I sat down in my chair. He didn’t look at me at first but then he took his earphones out.
“So are you guys going out again?” he asked me.
“Yeah,” I said. “We already planned it.”
“Well, sounds to me like you’re officially dating, Eunae-yah.”
“Wow. And it’s happening before you. I always thought you’d be the first.”
“Why is that?”
“What do you mean why?” I was baffled.
“Yeah, why? I have to focus on my studies. It’s what my parents want.”
“Wooseok-ah… You’re a very handsome guy and if you don’t see that, you’re crazy. Why do you think every girl gawks at you?”
I looked around and so he started to look around with me. Girls were looking at him. Some of them probably even talk about him as this very moment.
He just shrugged it off. I don’t know what he meant by that.
We kinda stopped talking after that and we started studying. He didn’t really say much to me all day until after school.
“Hey, you wanna hang out today?” he asked me.
“But we have yaja,” I said.
“We don’t have to go every day. Come on. We can go to my house. Play video games or something?”
“You know what, let’s do it. Taking a break every once in a while isn’t that bad. I have all A’s.”
“Stop bragging.”
I laughed and we started walking towards his house.
I said hello to his mom and we went up to his room. We started playing a video game. I decided on Mortal Kombat. I was getting better at this game. Wooseok would beat me all the time.
“Yes!” I said as I won the game. “I’m getting good at this.”
He laughed. “You are. Or I’m letting you win.” “Oh, shut up. Don’t me a sore loser. I’ve been practicing at home on my little brother’s.”
“Really? Just to beat me?”
“Hah! So I did beat you!”
“Whatever…” He rolled his eyes.
I hit his arm. “Don’t roll your eyes at me. That is rude.”
He stared at me. “Don’t hit me. That’s rude.”
“Do you really wanna fight?” I asked him, raising my fist. “You know I will always fight you just like when we were kids.”
“Yeah, and I’ll win just like when we were kids”
“Hey, I’m stronger now.”
I laughed at him. “Sure.”
“Come here.”
He lunged at me and I screamed. We started wrestling with each other.
“Are you guys okay up there?” his mom shouted. “What are you guys doing?”
“We’re fine!” Wooseok shouted as I was facing down and he was sitting on me. “Playing games!”
I rolled over enough to get him off of me and then I jumped on his back to put him in a chokehold.
“Ah!” he shouted and moved backwards a little bit.
He hit me against the wall hard enough for me to let go of him but not enough to hurt me. I tried jumping on him, but he grabbed me and he pinned me down on the floor and was on top of me. I couldn’t move now.
“Damn it!” I said.
“Told you I’d win,” he said, his face close to mine.
I didn’t really notice until now that he was actually on top of me and his face was close. Super close. I felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest it was beating so fast. I could smell him and he smelled sweet. I really wanted to kiss him but I refrained. I could feel myself starting to get embarrassed.
“Okay, get off of me,” I said as I wriggled him off. I almost could’ve done something stupid.
“I told you I’m stronger now,” he said.
“Only since you hit puberty.”
“Hey!”
I laughed. “It’s true.”
“Oh, whatever.”
“Guys, dinner is ready!” Wooseok’s mom shouted.
We ate dinner and afterwards I had to go home since it is a school night.
Wooshin was holding my bag as we walked home. He would always do that. He was always that nice.
“Today was fun,” I said. “We hadn’t hung out like that in a while.”
“Yeah,” he said. “It was. We should do it more often honestly.”
“Yeah, we should. I miss it.”
“Me too.”
We finally got to my house and we walked me up to the door.
“You wanna come in for a little bit and say hi to everyone?” I asked as he handed me my bag.
“Yeah, why not? I haven’t seen anyone in a while.”
We went inside and took off our shoes. “Eomma! Appa!” I shouted.
“We’re in the living room,” my dad shouted.
Everyone was in there along with my little brother, Joon.
“Hey, Wooseok wanted to say before he left,” I said.
“Hey, hope you’re all doing well.”
He kissed my mom on the cheek and gave my dad a handshake. He shuffled my little brother’s hair.
“Alright, just wanted to say hi. I’m gonna get going since it’s a school night.”
“Okay, dear, be careful,” my mom told him.
He waved goodbye and I walked him to the door and went outside with him.
He gave me a hug and I hugged him back.
“What is this for?” I asked as he’s still hugging me.
“I haven’t hugged you in a while.”
He let go of me.
“I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said.
“I’ll see you.” I waved goodbye.
I saw him walk off and once I couldn’t see him anymore I walked back inside.
I went upstairs to my room to get ready for bed.
Today seemed different. The way we hung out today. It was like old times but it wasn’t at the same time. I can’t even explain it. Something felt different. It could’ve just been me who thought so. But the hug was weird but also nice. We haven’t hugged each other since elementary school. I guess since we got older we just thought it would be weird. But also people would also notice and start saying things I’m sure since we’re older. People like to make things up and blow them out of proportion. Honestly, why is life so annoying?
A/N: Sorry if there is any possible mistakes. I try to proofread but sometimes I miss things.

Lately
UP10TION Wei (Lee Sungjun) X Kogyeol (Go Minsoo)
Bias X Reader
Genre: Fluff and contemplation, lol
PART 1 (maybe)
You had been anticipating this school trip for months. It was your first overnight-trip, or any kind of trip really, without your family. Just you and your friends. Well, and the rest of your classmates and the supervising faculty staff as well. It was your class’ turn to take a historical tour that all the students enrolled in that history course took, at some point during their semester, to visit and learn more about the various historical spots in the country as per usual of the course. It would be a five hour drive to the location, so the buses had to leave at 6:00am. You would get to the location and then spend the night and return in the afternoon the next day. So that was also exciting, but stressful at the same time. There was nothing in your closet that you wanted to be seen in. Luckily, you already discussed this with your friends and you were going shopping with the money from your part-time job on the weekends to buy a new outfit at least for the first day. The second day didn’t seem to matter as much. It would be a short day and you would just riding a bus for the bulk of it. You met your friends at the indoor mall on the other side of town. After conceding to your friend Ailee’s requests to get some food first, you all took your trays of food and sat at the high chairs in the mall’s food court. Your eyes caught sight of a familiar group of guys first. You nudged your best friend’s side urgently. “Jiji, look! Look!” Jiji turned and looked in your direction. “Sungjun is here. Is this fate or what…” You mused, fantastically whimsical. Jiji smirked and took a long sip of her bubble tea before answering you.
“Or what. This is the closest mall to school. Everybody comes here.” “Whatever. Just come with me.” You responded flippantly while dragging her off her bar stool and coming down off of yours simultaneously. Jiji’s eyes bugged. “You’re going to confess to him here?” “I have to. If I don’t tell him soon I think I’ll explode.” You both started to make your way over to where he was. Jiji halted you in both of your tracks. “What about, Minsoo?” She asked you, almost frantically. It made you stop moving. More out of confusion than anything else. “What about him?” Jiji bit her lip and shot a look over towards Ailee and the other girls. “I wasn’t supposed to tell you….” “Tell me what? Hurry up, Sungjun is about to leave—“ “Three weeks ago Ailee told me that Minsoo told her in strict confidence that he was going to ask you out on this trip, they’ve been planning something—but I don’t know what they’re planning exactly so don’t get mad at me okay? And I know you said you gave up on him last semester-but love doesn’t disappear that fast right? It was all just bad timing and I’m just the messenger who was never supposed to be the messenger!” Jiji’s words tumbled out of her mouth faster than she could even keep up with and spun in circles around your head twice as fast. All you could get out was, “What?” You felt, both, glued to the floor and as if you were swimming in thick water. You and Minsoo had grown up together. You met him when you transferred to a different school when you were 13. You had a crush on Minsoo immediately and you, being the type of person you were, even confessed to him within the first month of meeting him. He told you he didn’t even know you and you should just be friends. You compiled. Hoping that once he got to know you better, you’d date. So settled for that. Keeping hope close to your heart for all these years. It paid off. During the summer break of your last year (of high school), he confessed to you. Stating that he would’ve done it sooner but he had thought you had given up on him a long time ago. You assured him you had not. It was almost a happy ending. Until you were waitlisted at your university of choice. The same University as Minsoo. You refused to go to any other school. So you opted to enroll in an online school to take some University courses come spring, so you wouldn’t fall behind, and reapply the next year. Minsoo, on the other hand, had been accepted and was leaving come fall. So after only a few months of blissful meeting, you told him with a heavy heart that he should go and experience college life without burden. He tried to convince you that nothing would change between you if you dated and he would still come down and see you every day. You couldn’t accept introducing that kind of stress on him while he was studying. So you told him that it was just over. He took it pretty hard. It led to him distancing himself from you after a while. Which you took as what it was. When you finally got accepted into his University a year later after reapplying, he actually approached you first. However, neither of you could find the right time or moment to bring up the idea of the two of you. You wanted to confess again, but didn’t want it to seem like you were just following him around like a sad puppy. You were already at the same University as him when during the last year, with your good grades, you could’ve applied literally anywhere else…You started to think to yourself. Why didn’t you? Then you wouldn’t be in this mess now. “Earth to Y/N.” Jiji gently flicked your forehead to snap you back to reality. Your focus rearranged and you spotted Sungjun and his friends leaving the food court and exiting out the side doors of the mall. You exhaled heavily. “What are you doing?” “Exploding.”
The next day came amid much excitement. Your dorm mates stayed up all night with you, helping you not over pack and trying to calm you down. You didn’t know why you were still so excited. It was going to be a sh*t show. Minsoo and Sungjun were both going to be on the trip. They didn’t know each other, but you knew both of them. Ailee was Minsoo’s good friend since they came to this University at the same time and met in new student orientation for first-year University students. You met Sungjun the same way, except, in orientation for transfer students. Jiji, you met through Ailee, who Minsoo had introduced you to, in efforts to help you make new friends when you first came to this school. By simple scheduling necessity, you all took the same History course, just at different times. You sighed again. Was Minsoo really going to confess? You made your way to the meeting place. Where all the students and faculty were gathered around. Everyone was milling about hugging their coats to their mouths and trying to shuffle away the cold. You tried peeking around for faces you recognized. When you couldn’t see anyone past the masses of student bodies, you pulled out your phone to call Jiji. The Head of the History Department called out for everyone’s attention and told everyone to listen for their professor’s name and line up in front of the bus number he would assign to the teacher’s name. Your heart jumped. You had a feeling the bus assignments would be by Professor. That meant you would be riding with Jiji and Sungjun. Ailee on a different bus and Minsoo on another. You breathed a sigh of relief. At least you wouldn’t have to think of anything for the next five hours. You heard the Head of Department call out your Professor and her assigned bus number and made your way through the bustle of students towards your bus. When you arrived, you checked in with your Professor and moved forward to put your overnight bag under the bus. As you backed up, you bumped into a warm body. You turned around surprised, “Oh! Sorry!—“You recognized Minsoo’s smiling face, “Minsoo!” “Why are you surprised? You know I have this class too.” “I know, but I thought they called your professor’s name already. You should be on your bus…” “I came off for a minute to give you something.” He pulled one of his hands from behind his back. It was holding a small plush backpack in the shape of Rilakkuma. “Rilakkuma!” You beamed at the backpack. “I remember you used to collect things like these.” He looked at you slightly nervous. “Do you still like them?” You nodded immediately. He smiled, relieved. The Department Head announced the bus numbers and professor’s name as a last call. Minsoo continued, “There’s things you like inside. Open it when you feel a craving.” You smiled up at him, touched. “Thanks, Minsoo.” “Anytime.” Minsoo lingered, his hand suddenly reaching up and holding yours. “You think if I ride your bus instead, I’ll get in trouble?.” He joked. You laughed a tiny bit, “They’ll probably call roll on the bus to make sure people aren’t skipping. You could get marked absent.” “You’re worth it.” Minsoo remarked without missing a beat. You got a bit shy and looked away, “What’s with you today…” You said softly trying not to smile. Minsoo shrugged while never taking his eyes off of you. “Just making up for lost time, I guess.” You wanted to ask him if it was for lost time to come on the bus ride or lost time that already passed. You heard a knocking on the bus window and looked up, Jiji’s face was warning you to get on the bus already. “I should go.” “Oh? I forgot Jiji was in your class.” He motioned for her to open the window. She obliged, “What do you want, Minsoo—It’s cold!” Minsoo pulled a face at her before answering, “Just make sure you take care of Y/N. I don’t want anything happening to her.” Jiji rolled her eyes at the sentiment. “Oh please! We’re riding a bus down there, not a horse! Y/N come on! They’re pulling off!” Minsoo played with your fingers, “Go. I should go, too. I’ll see you down there.” “Bye.” You called out after him as he squeezed his way past some of the late-arriving students scrambling to find their Professor’s bus. You watched him disappear into the crowd before pushing your way onto the bus. Jiji stood up and flagged you down to where she was sitting. You made your way to her, clutching your purse and new Rilakkuma bag. Her eyes flitted to the plush bag and she couldn’t help but snicker. “Did Minsoo give you that?” You plopped down next to her, and pretended to be nonchalant. “Maybe he did.” “Did he say…anything?…” She probed quietly. You shook your head, knowing what she meant. “Not exactly, no.” “What do you mean ‘not exactly’?” Jiji asked folding her arms and leaning sideways in her seat to face you. You sat catty corner in your seat to face her as well. “I mean, he said things, but didn’t really say anything.” Jiji let out a high pitched sigh of annoyance. “I feel like I’m getting stressed just trying to keep up with you two.” You fixed your mouth to agree with her but got interrupted but a male voice. “Keep up with who? Me and Y/N?” Sungjun’s joking voice filtered into the conversation. You both greeted him happily. “You’re late!” You stated playfully. “I know! I didn’t even hear my alarm clock go off!” “Hm. It’s lucky you didn’t get left behind.” You commented. He smirked, “Lucky for who? Me or you?” He raised an eyebrow. You reached out to hit him and he backed just out of reach, before reaching out and grabbing your hand. “Sit with me.” “I’m already sitting with Jiji.” “Don’t use me as an excuse.” Jiji interjected. You whipped your head around at her and gave her a glare. She just smiled at you. Living for the torment in your eyes. “Be a big girl and make your own decisions.” You heard her loaded statement despite her light tone. “Fine.” You turned to Sungjun, “I’ll sit with you.” Sungjun beamed and picked your bags from you and guided you to an empty pair of seats that happened to be two seats behind Jiji. You scooted in towards the window at his offering and settled in. After putting both of your bags and his own in the overhead above your seats, Sungjun settled down next to you as well. “You wanna know something funny?” “What?” “I’ve been thinking all week how to ask you to sit with me on this bus ride.” “What?” You partially laughed as he held his own semi-embarrassed smile, “Really?” Sungjun nodded his head and let out a grunt while covering his smiling face momentarily. After looking at you for a quick moment, he exhaled and licked his lips due to them being a bit dry, and then looked straight ahead as he spoke. “Don’t ask me why. I just know it’s all I thought about.” “Well here we are.” You tossed in to ease his weird nerves. You felt another opening to tell him your feelings in this moment for some reason. “I saw you in the mall yesterday.” He turned his head towards you in surprise, “You did? Why didn’t you say anything?” “I was going to, but then you left before I could get over to you-it was in the food court and you were eating a hamburger…” You trailed off, not sure why you felt you had to add that last part. Sungjun just laughed at your observation. “You could’ve still come over, if that’s what stopped you. Me eating?” “That wasn’t it.” “Then what was it? And you know it was funny? I was actually talking about you with my friends then.” You felt your confession bubbling at the back of your throat. It was like a compulsion. Everytime you got around him, lately, you wanted to spill your guts. You looked down into your lap and in untimely but pure coincidence, you got a two messages from Minsoo back to back.
let’s eat lunch together today.
I was thinking we could talk…i’ve been having a lot of thoughts lately…
Sungjun’s eyes flitted to your phone. You clicked the screen off immediately but not hurriedly and looked out the window. You heard him ask you innocently, “You okay? Who was that?” “A Senior I know. He wants to have lunch together when we arrive…” You spoke absent-mindedly before remembering the conversation that had been cut off before you saw your text messages, “You said you were talking about me with your friends?” “Mhm.” Sungjun nodded and stood up to get his bag from the overhead. He sat back down and began to rummage through it. “What about me were you talking about?” Instead of answering you, Sungjun handed you a small envelope with your name on it. “Wait! Don’t read it now.” He lips carried a nervous smile as he hurriedly put his hand over yours as you tried to open the envelope. “Read it after the day is over. In your room. Let’s just spend the day happily. Learn new things. Create memories.” You felt your stomach leap forward and twist.
