Pushed up against that familiar fence, the one at their spot, Mickey panted as they unravelled together. He had fought it for so long, tried not to fall this hard but with Ian he felt impossibly weak.

So many times he had tried to escape him but his heart was always pulled towards him, bending, prepared to shatter into a million pieces. Because nothing good could come of it.

But his lips felt like home, his arms like a safe haven. Running wild, laughing together and kissing up against walls, Mickey knew he could never turn away from Ian again.
