One of the things that I have noticed in book community these days is people try to find the flaws in a book instead of enjoying it.

They keep looking where the author did wrong or what part they hate, while I think reading should be diving into a universe and just feel. I understand not vibing with a book which I would suggest to just not continue it, but constantly complaining is just... tiring. And they call themself "professional hater" as if that would make them special.

And the other is how a big gap between books in a series can be harmful.

Readers will have so many theories, so many expectations that when those won't be met, they will get disappointed. They want their heaadcanons that have became canon in their head to happen and when the author doesn't go the way they anticipated or wanted, they just start hating the book.

I'm so disappointed in Ca*t. But proud of the Reylo fandom for standing with the impacted writers. It's not the first time we've had to respond to bad behavior in the fandom and unfortunately it's unlikely to be the last. But let's make sure to pre-order these debuts and read the other impacted books. Keep lifting each other up!
