Starting a new campaign with the group I did Tyranny of Dragons with, I prepared 3 different characters cos I wasn't sure what classes the other would play as I didn't get clear answers beforehand.

I would've preferred to play a non magic using class cos sometimes managing spells in roll20 is a pain, but welp no one did bring a healer soooo I went with the druid option I made exactly in case no one else wants to be a healer lol.

So yeah this is Siru, a deep gnome originally from underdark but came above ground as she has interest in the stars and she wanted to study those (As you may guess she'll be a Circle of Stars druid once we hit level 2)

Dear, sweet Jesus-blessed meat kabob. The "Phoenix" update for AI Dungeon is just… unforgivably bad.

This is borderline unusable. It lags to High Heaven, the menus are a chore to navigate, there's AI-generated art where there didn't used to be, and it's just absolutely ugly, horrible, and cannot be customized.

Did someone ask for this? Or is just what the AI Dungeon staff think people want? 'Cause, I don't want this. And from what I've read, a few other people don't, either. But then of course… there's the defenders of this new interface…

If this is the direction that AI Dungeon is heading, then count me out. I guess I'll just get my free AI fix from Dreamily, or if I get desperate, Chat With AI, from now on…

also spent a significant amount of time--while I was trying to fall asleep--having ill will toward every single one of the houses across the street, all of whom have 1-3 exterior lights on all night every night. The light coming in our front windows at night is strong enough to cast clear shadows.

I have not once seen most of those neighbors out at night (I spend a lot of time outside at night with neighborcats), and, the neighbors I do see, are only briefly letting their dogs out. They don't need to leave their lights on the other 9-14 hours of the night throughout the year (not to mention the lights that don't seem to be on sensors and so are on constantly. I wonder if they even know those are on at all.)

(and I suspect most of them think of it as an anti-burglary issue, but it's not--most break-ins happen during the day because that's when no-one is home, usually. It's just wasting electricity, causing light pollution, and annoying me.)

PMS brewing, once again getting fed up with the whole concept of fandom (my brain just doesn't care about characters like that) which makes it uhhhh hard to be on Tumblr (my brain also refuses to install third party software or filter tags)
