in lieu of having posted any writing/headcanons/asks in the past few days because i have been *so* busy and unable to do anything fandom-related which is terrible and evil, i have a poll out of morbid curiosity and self-indulgence. i've been meaning to ramble here about how i feel about DC's lack fo Deaf representation and which Batfam members i would personally make Deaf, but i am mildly curious about the larger opinion and now i will subject you all to the question, i would love to hear thoughts/opinions/headcanons on any specific choices. Not to be overly pessimistic, but maybe 911 is destined to become one of those shows that had a great start, then had a couple off seasons, then had a string of bad seasons riddled with problems and eventually ended in some haphazard way that left fans bitter and disappointed

#like you cannot tell me 'later seasons were kinda all over the place because the showrunner didn't have an outline' isnt a phrase you can #absolutely see being told about 911 #i bobby really is dead then there goes my faith in this show #like i'll keep watching until the end of season 8 at least but i'm all the more disappointed #i'm too emotionally invested to give up entirely and i have too little faith in the show's current ability to deliver on an emotional payof #even if the payoff is relief the 118 thought bobby was dead they should milk that shit for another season but watch them forget about it #911 spoilers #crow rambles while high on sleep deprivation #rant #ik this is kinda stupid and defeatist but like. most of us have watched procedurals before. and it's so late at nigh and im so tired and i'm #having trouble believing we could be the exception to the rule

so i took my car in today because i thought it might just need some more brake fluid and although i tried to just look at it myself i couldn't for the life of me figure out which part under the hood was the brake fluid reservoir without having to lean all over my car and get all dirty, so i figured i might just have to pay a service fee and whatever for the fluid itself...

#there was a pipe issue when I moved in but that got fixed #(January 1 2022)#and then I had 0 issues #until september last year when the kitchen flooded like this. twice.#and now tonight #I was watching Tv (around 9:15) and thought ''hmm wow the cat water fountain is louder than usual''#and went in and. flood. water everywhere. it's definitely from the sink #I've thrown away a bunch of stuff #and moved cat things to the living room #unfortunately the room where I keep their litter boxes is on the other side of the kitchen #so I had to grab the spare and set it up in the hall #if I haven't heard from the manager by 8am I'll go to the cornerstore and buy some stuff but. sigh. I want them to come with the shopvac #a shower *should* be safe but I'll probably keep it brief

i was going to answer this when spotify wrapped dropped but then things happened and forgot 💀 but i like different kinds i don't tend to stick to genres since whatever catches my attention goes for me, im the type of person to put in loop a song until i have something else to keep on repeat.

But I always come back to vocaloid songs once in a while, whatever gets famous i probably know about it (which is rare for me because i tend to be out of the loop in almost everything). iyowa, abu-se-ken (but the songs where he sings are my fav) and PinnochioP are some of my favorites for the meaning of the songs and the catchy melodies.

this is the mess that happens when you loop songs, none of the top songs are from the bands;; AND ONE IS THE OST OF A GAME AND THERE IS SOMEONE WITH 22 MONTHLY LISTENERS if it hits it hits

right now im obsessed with the song Decapitate your friends by Crisp since it was featured on the trailer for the game Mama's sleeping angels (it looks really cool), i like repetitive and loud sounds

an important skill is recognizing my oppositional media consumption habits approximately a week or two before they hit catastrophic levels; this is a skill I have painstakingly developed over the years but I can now say with confidence its a skill I've mastered. I now know when to start filtering tags for something before my brain closes off any future avenues of media discovery.

#TLDR is I'm always 7 yrs late to shit so in order to make sure I'll be able to watch Dungeon Meshi in 7 years or so and #enjoy it instead of being sick of it/annoyed I need to start filtering tags now. I am fermenting at prime interest levels (lightly amused #and intrigued but not invested) and they shall likely rise no higher until approximately a decade from now. in order to keep them from #plummeting off the ledge into 'I dont want to see any more of this' I need to stop seeing any more of this. you get it.#<- this is also why I dont take people filtering tags personally btw...

Gonna go running tomorrow!!!! Gotta hype myself up because i know once my alarm goes off at 6am i will not be as excited anymore ((((: BUT I'LL GO RUNNING!!!!

#i just #need to get some actual exercise #where i can completely exhaust myself #i mean. i get some pretty exhausting 10 minutes every morning on my hike to class #but i want something a bit longer and something that will end in a nice shower and not in a seminar room #I'm just a bit scared of how it'll go because so far the paths where people exercise are also occupied by other people #and then there's bikes that might kill you if you don't watch out #so i wanna go early so i hopefully avoid random people taking a painfully slow walk in the middle of the path #so you can't pass them #but I'll be moving!!! fast!! i cannot wait tbh #i should have gone tonight #(watch me oversleep and be too unmotivated to go tomorrow morning... istg if i don't get up at 6 #I'll still go at 8 or 9 or 10 am and have to live with the consequences of the paths being crowded #I'd go to bed early but my neighbors keep me up until 2am every night so that's fun #but the running will be worth it #(I'm not even a runner ㅠㅠ i just need to substitute my usual high intensity workouts with something other than pilates and yoga #i mean it's definitely not bad to be forced to do something out of my comfort zone but i really miss my jumping around time)#void screams

Okay so, if y'all know me you know I adore tmnt. It was my obsession before I ever watched even the original YGO much less GX. And now I'm watching tmnt 2012 for the first time, I'm about halfway through season 2 and honestly you guys are so lucky I'm not live blogging it because well.... I don't like it 💀

I will say I'm enjoying season 2 more than season 1 so far but still 💀

#I'm trying so hard I really am #as a don stan I hate all the april stuff #as a lover of april I hate what they've done and will do with this one #I hate the whole karai is really splinter's daughter thing #the kraang make me want to die every time they speak they're so annoying #I dunno a lot of the humor is just not landing with me either for some reason #i never liked the 3d cg animation style i always thought it was super ugly which is part of why i never watched it until now tbh #I kinda resent just how childish mikey is which is silly of me I'll admit that but still #leo has always been my least favorite that hasn't changed #don always was my favorite so I really hate that so much of his character revolves around april it really adds nothing and holds him back #raph is fine it's hard to mess him up tbh i don't have any issues with him so that's a win 👍#plus I adore sean astin so bonus points #I do actually like splinter and casey though #historically I love casey the most of the human characters though so if they end up messing him up later I'll never forgive them #karai is fine I just hate the her being splinter's daughter thing. I also don't like her design at all. at all. they did her dirty af.#I don't like to compare the other shows to 2003 since nothing ~really~ compares imo but karai's 2003 design > every other karai design #I know there's some 2003 storylines and characters they do in 2012 so I know the comparison is inevitable but I think I've done well #so far in keeping them separate. i haven't had that issue with 87 or rise so I trust myself #but honestly my intense love and admitted bias for 2003 has never interfered with my enjoyment or opinions of other turtle media #-so that's not an issue here #I just genuinely don't care for 2012 so far. #it was close. one more turn would have killed me #well........i say that. but i did have healing available so i would have been fine. i didnt break my death ward #personal #ash plays bg3 #the only thing i havent done now at wyrm's rock is the upper floor where the coronation is. gotta deal with the steel watch factory first #i sneaked up and took out the whole upper area where you usually fight gortash tho. that felt like an accomplishment lmao!#'sneaked' doesnt sound like the right word but apparently it isnt 'snuck'. rip #time to finally go to the lower city! or actually time for me to go to bed but that's where im at #still uhhhhhh dreading the kidnapping. i genuinely feel like im gonna throw up just thinking about it #but actually on the topic of yenna and grub..... they havent actually showed up in camp yet #and i know from my last playthrough that if you ask them to leave they keep coming back #but in this game i managed to avoid triggering the first convo you have with yenna when you first get to rivington #and she just never showed up at camp. so idk what's gonna happen there #im assuming it'll play out normally and she'll just randomly show up in a cutscene?#anyway lmao @ balduran's greatsword for dealing less damage than my main hand shortsword #doubling my strength modifier means it deals -2 damage instead of just -1. im working with +4 dex babey #im not bothered respeccing at this point (maybe if i get stuck later) but i could move 2 points from int (currently 14) to dex #i kept int up at 14 so i could cast spells decently before taking my level of cleric because i didnt take cleric until level 12 #reliable talent was more important to me (even tho it's actually not even that helpful when im doing next to no roleplay)#oohh actually i might have to respec because i have +2 dex from my armour and im gonna be switching to helldusk armour asap #oh yeah i have expertise in deception intimidation and persuasion from illithid expertise. i can sacrifice some cha as well as int #ahhhh never mind i can only get it up to 17 in cc bleh. oh well. i'll just have to let it drop to +3 once i change armour. it's worth the a #like to be fair the extra damage isnt too important. if i crit on a sneak attack i do 14d6+4+dex damage so like. nbd
