Ngl the first time I read that post I just assumed you meant with your fingers like a stress stim or smth but upon seeing replies it has dawned upon me that you might mean just with your ear muscles.

I can relate. (I thought that was normal being able to move your ears like that?) I pull my ears back all the time to keep my glasses up/RBF semi-pleasant/habit etc and then I also get headaches if I do it long enough (fun when I was literally hired for my smile and have to do it all day).

Yeah no my ears can wiggle and move on their own cuz the muscles there work for me. It's a fucking hassle bro. And saaaaame on the glasses thing. I think that's why they're overworking themselves rn honestly. I have to consciously relax them sometimes cuz they just. pull back.

It's why I hate having to wear a mask for long periods of time, cuz they never fit (i have a tiny head) and pulling my ears back is the only thing that helps.

honestly i'd dig a fic where the Cat King (after getting blitzed by esther and reforming as a new cat) goes limping and pathetic to find Edwin only for Edwin not to recognize him in his new Cat appearance and who proceeds to take care of and exasperatedly fawn over this quiet new companion.

Charles and the New Cat have an inexplicable vendetta no one else in the office understands, Niko is obsessed with dressing the cat up, Crystal just wants the thing to stop shredding and shedding on her clothes. Edwin likes the way the cat purrs softly against his chest late at night when the others have gone to rest. He talks to it about everything and anything, and CK (now pretty well trapped in his sort of accidentalish ruse) has to figure out a way to come clean without totally fucking up whatever tentative thing he's managed to cobble together with his favorite Dead Boy.

hey so yknow that fictionpress work u posted like 10 years ago? “until it hurts”? one of my favorite books and genuinely had a huge impact on my identity and sexuality. i just dug it up (cuz who uses fictionpress these days) and i was so glad to see u hadn’t deleted it :-) i’m rereading it now and it’s tremendous

Seriously though, that's great! I tend not to delete anything unless it either publishes or I otherwise can't stand behind it, so it'll probably be there until Fictionpress goes offline, aha. I'm so happy it ended up have such a strong impact on you. :) These kind of messages make me very happy as an author, cuz sometimes it can feel like posting into the void aha.
