My quality of life has gone up so much now that I can sleep in and bake cakes and go for walks and not feel rushed

#like yeah i need to money and i wont be able to take any trips or splurge for a bit but i didn't realize how bad i was doing #until i exploded #its weird and embarrassing to say my mental health took such a dive because i had to wake up with an alarm clock and not naturally #or that i didnt cook for weeks because i didn't have the energy to clean the kitchen #or do laundry because i didn't have time to go to the bank and get quarters 6 weeks in a row #and that my new dresser still isnt built months later because I only had 4 hours to work on it across 4 months and no energy to do so #everything else in my life was put off so i could have a little extra money to spend and no time to spend it #im a business man in a suit who has thrown my business phone in the ocean because i realized i was working hard for my kids future #but my kids are growing up without a family #*metaphorically of course im barren #like i wasn't living my life. i was working.#now i wake up with plenty of time to meander. i have an okay work life balance. i can cook and bake again and clean the kitchen after #i can take long shower and eat breakfast slowly #im going for walks and ploughing through audiobook #and im happy. i wake up and stay happy.#i have time for doctors appointments and to watch tv. im going to clean my house #yeah maybe I'll live on rice and beans for a while. maybe no new clothes or nails or Starbucks runs.#but money comes and goes. time isnt replaceable

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not
