(I'm sure somebody has done this but if these are too similar, tell me please. As far as I know this is what I think)

Nihil.

He looks at you tenderly and gives you money to buy another one, because he is an adorable grandpa.

Primo.

Similar to Nihil, but he gives you money to buy a bigger one, a balloon and a stuffed animal.

Secondo.

He pretends that he didn't notice, but after thinking about it for a moment he gives you his ice cream.

Terzo.

Without question, he buys you the entire gallon of ice cream, even though you begged him not to, as he is touched by your sad little face.

Copia.

With tears in his eyes, he hands you half of his, then he drops it and you have to give him back the ice cream before he really cries.

BONUS

Sister Imperator.

She looks at you and tells you that she won't buy you another one.

Mary Goore.

When you drop your ice cream, they drop theirs too, so no one has anything.

i'm interested in learning more about the marquis' ascent — like what the hell did he do to get to this point, at such a young age? how did it shape the dangerously arrogant marquis we all know and love today? how did a street rat become a marquis? or maybe he wasn't a street rat — maybe the gramonts are a disgraced family under the high table. maybe their seat was revoked for some ungodly reason, forcing vincent into a life of poverty, taking away the privileges he enjoyed for most of his childhood. what did he do to get his wealth back? what did he do to survive? who did he hurt? was he ever loved?

(i wish we could have seen him physically fight john — i have a feeling he's a savant with bladed weapons, and seeing bill skarsgard wield a sword would have sent me into a coma idk )

and now you got me thinking of younger vincent de gramont x childhood friend!reader. you meet him after he's lost everything.

the two of you are street rats navigating through the underworld. you're looking for a way to survive, and vincent's looking for a way to get back to his old world. the two of you end up taking increasingly difficult jobs at an incredibly young age, and the high table takes notice. the two of you get separated when the high table employs him as one of their agents. you make a living working as a freelance bounty hunter, and you don't see him again until nearly a decade later.

when the two of you meet again, vincent is an entirely different person. he is a marquis now, and you will address him as such. he has a job for you. and refusal is not an option.

international break check in with all the kids

frøya: stayed with mapi while ingrid went to puma in germany. the two of them then soaked up the barcelona sun for a few days before flying out to norway after the finland game and being very supportive in the stands against the netherlands

lissa: we know all about her mallorca antics, she's got a nice tan and thinks koby is very cute

evie: hated the norwich weather and questioned how hempo ever survived living there but enjoyed sweden. she predicted that spain would win 2-1 before the euros final and being right has softened the england loss for her unfortunately everyone else is being constantly reminded england lost while evie brags about being right. she's currently loving the euros celebrations but a little bit constructive criticism for the team is they could've done it while scoring a goal. still she got frido's shirt after the match and england are having to print her a new one because she took the trading a little too seriously and frido found it too funny not to accept (she also thinks it'll be worth a lot someday)

tilde & elvy: they considered their options and to go on denmark camp. they've been preferring denmark camp in the euro qualifiers because there's a little less group of death based stress and general rain in the countries they visit. it also had absolutely nothing to do with the possibility of belgian chocolate when denmark played belgium. magda was happy to let them chose where to go and let pernille dig her on grave with a chocolate spade. she got to say 'i told you so' when pernille couldn't get either of them to sleep and elvy was complaining about a stomach ache (but only after comforting elvy, she's not horrible). elvy walked out with pernille for the match against czechia and didn't like the shorts so wore a red tutu instead, it was very cute. both of them loved the celebrations when denmark qualified, stayed up far past their bedtime and danced to the music

emy, sienna & matteo: just beginning to become a concept being considered by leah and alessia as they panic plan their late july/early august wedding and try not to clash if with all the lionesses wedding happening that summer

élia & lluc: not even being thought about as a concept yet but their mums are celebrating 100 caps about two years too late

Just a little response to THIS post @deceptivemorals regarding Katherine not asking for help-

This isn't like combating your post mostly just explaining why she didn't reach out to him as you mentioned.

So Katherine doesn't deal well with rejection at all. Like. AT. ALL.

Elijah never explained to Katherine WHY he left her, he simply did- leaving Katherine with zero answers and just the visual that he abandoned her the moment she was ready to really start trying to find the girl she used to be. The one Elijah sees when he looks at her. This was an extremely pivotal moment for her, and she was very vulnerable in it. She had listened to Elijah after she broke Elena's neck. REALLY listened to him.

She made a BIG move against her own interests just to show him that she meant what she said. That she loves him, that she didn't want to lose him- she gave up her biggest gun in her centuries old fight with Klaus for her freedom, and he ABANDONED HER without more than just a 'goodbye.'

Elijah REALLY hurt her, and that's why she instantly lashed out at Elena about it. She was confused and hurt and rejected and the only sense she could make of it was that Elena had to have turned Elijah against her. She had no other information she took what she SAW and she ran with it because what else was she supposed to do? The girl has zero emotional regulation and those are some BIG feelings shes got in her chest. She's physically incapable of just dealing with them like a normal person.

And had Bonnie given her the immortality that she was after (Silas style) which was a win she really needed after that, it MIGHT have been enough to keep Katherine leveled enough to walk away. Unfortunately Bonnie rejected her too. She had nothing to sooth that pain and so she did what most bpd people would do. She lashed out at the (believed) source of her pain. And because BPD ppl feel thing at an extremely heightened level- they tend to bite back twice as hard as they were bitten because they subconsciously want you to feel how badly you hurt them. ABANDONMENT is one of the WORST feelings for someone with BPD- so rationally Elena had to die lmfao.

This incredibly dumb and impulsive moment was not one based in logic, she absolutely was running off triggered lizard brain and picked FIGHT. 100000000000000000000000% Elena should not have won that fight at all Katherine has 500 years and 500x the experience on Elena and she ONLY won bc plot armor but that's another post-

ANYWAY, circling BACK around to my point...

After being turned human, Katherine didn't reach out to Elijah because she was hurt and afraid he'd he'd reject her AGAIN. That shit HURTS and she's already battling with Stefan's rejection daily- Katherine didn't reach out to Elijah because she was scared to. The difference between when she reached out to team up for the cure, and when she didn't after she was turned human was time, space, and circumstance.

Katherine might have known he wasn't too pleased with her when she reached out for a team up, but the difference is, he didn't straight up abandon her previously. Even if he HAD it would have been MUCH clearer on the reasoning behind it. When he left her before she got turned back into a human, he left her with no closure and rejection in a very vulnerable moment where she was trying to ask him to run away with her. To be with her, to have a life with her. He rejected her without giving her a reason, and so whos to say the same mystery reason wouldnt be there if she asked for help once turned human.

Yes LOGICALLY she should know if she is in REAL need of his help, that he will come help her- but the problem is, logic has very little place in emotional reactions like the one Katherine had, and they STICK with her for a WHILE.

So while Elijah would have expected her to contact him if she needed help? She was afraid to contact him in case he wouldnt give it to her. YOU HAVE TO GIVE BPD PEOPLE REASONS. CLOSURE. INFORMATION- you can NOT leave them with nothing they do not understand and will grasp at STRAWS to find some way to explain what happened. So Elijah not giving Katherine Closure essentially is what triggered the fight, the cured Katherine, and her inability to reach out to him. (OBVIOUSLY not his intention but the domino effect remains.)

TL;DR- if Elijah had told Katherine why he was leaving her reaction might have been completely different and she probably would have coped better instead of beating Elena's ass about it. Coulda, woulda, shoulda- essentially.

I think it's very valid to hc him as part chinese! especially since there are quite a few chinese people in japan and if he's half then it may just be less complicated for him to introduce himself as jp due to negative stereotypes etc.

we actually saw his master's back in a manga panel and it looked like he was wearing a changpao silhouette, so I personally hc his master as chinese and suo as having been "raised" somewhat culturally chinese by his master. and he obviously adores his sensei so it kinda makes sense he would go out of his way to emulate him with the clothing etc haha

I have quite a few hang ups with Come Morning Light, the hunger games au I posted one chapter for back in November and have yet to update.

The first and foremost personal challenge is the fact that I, PCE, a certified Angst Wimp, am gonna have to kill off sooooo many of my faves. Like Hunger Games has some dark ass subject matter, kids forced to kill each other. I’m struggling with that, especially with what I have planned for Craig.

Along that same line, it’s gonna be a HUGE cast of characters, which I’ve had difficulty with in the past, it’s one of the reasons I primarily operate in oneshots. I love a good The Gangs All Here fic, but fleshing out 20+ characters is HARD. Bc a fluffy 2k word oneshot of Stan and Kyle in an awkward meet cute where there’s maybe one other character (usually kenny lmfao I’m a creature of habit) is a WHOLE different animal than a multicharacter multichapter. That’s something I had to figure out recently with TWITR, and character introduction held me up a lot in ATLCTS.

Okay this one may seem really inconsequential to a lot of people, but one thing I didn’t think about when developing this concept was the fact that there’s not really away for me to get around Stan eating meat lmao that’s one thing that over my time writing sp fanfiction has become ESSENTIAL to me characterizing that boy. I’ll probably just have him make a comment about how he could never kill animals himself WHICH BRINGS ME TO:

Kyle as our Katniss character. So if you’re familiar with my bs, every time I write Kyle, he’s inherently less angry until it’s called for, he’s very idealistic in his worldview and it takes something actually really pissing him off for him to snap. This is NOT gonna be the case here!!! This boy is ANGRY BY DEFAULT, the worlds out to get him? fuck the world right back! Plus, the entire story is gonna be from his perspective, bc I love writing Kyle, but it’s gonna take all my willpower not to turn him into my usual empathetic to a fault sweet people loving Kys.

Also, I usually tend to leave the adults mostly out of my stuff, but they’re gonna play quite the role in this. We got Garrison as Haymitch, Big Gay Al as Effie, fuckin Mr Slave as Cinna. I’ve never even WRITTEN the three of them. The dynamics gonna be fun tho.

Ofc there’s the problem of it being an adaptation too. There’s a fine line between just replacing hg characters with sp names and copying the plot, as opposed to making it your own. I do have some plot changes planned, but this is an issue I faced with We’re Gonna Sing It Even So, and that almost led me to abandon that fic when I felt like I was just plagiarizing Hadestown.

Also I’m not planning to adapt more than the first book. I reallllly couldn’t handle Kenny taking out Ike with his trap in the third one.

BUT!!! This won’t be abandoned, it’ll just be slow going!!! Ya wanna know the main reason?

Because the first idea I had for CML (other than Kyle volunteering for his little brother) was STAN AND KYLE IN THE FUCKING CAVE SCENES. A major change is that both of them are already deeply down bad, but those scenes??? Yeah no one’s playing for the cameras. I wanna fuck Stan up in the arena so bad lmfao that boy is my original sp whump muse and NATURALLY Kyle taking care of him I love that shit. Girl we gonna GET that prosthetic leg the movies left out (Ship In A Bottle Stan moment, I love that fic btw) as the Style Injury Dealer, I MUST deliver.

So, yeah, if anyone’s down, I’ll eventually pick it back up lmao.

the earliest fic ive found with autistic!mickey is Sing by Suchafangirl23. imma be honest i cant get thru this fic because its just not... good. incredibly ooc. but it is cool to know people were openly headcanoning mickey as autistic back in 2017

next is Labels Suck and Disorders and Doting by Asexual_Enjolras. the first one is about mickey being demisexual which is...a conversation for a different time. but yeah just be aware that its not about mickey being autistic. both include the R word without warning btw

Lozerukie has multiple fics about or including autistic!mickey. tbh these arent written very well either lol but the author has some interesting ideas

hello it’s been a while. have had a lot of personal life stuff going on and fell off of drawing for a bit, but I’m slowly getting back into it. :)

I did not want to look up outfit refs so I just put them in cute things. it is my personal opinion that Sasuke is like 4 inches taller than Itachi and way more muscle. (Itachi is small and built for stealth. The man like only does what is essentially magic. There is no reason for him to be swole. He has phd student body)

ace is the easy going kind that flirts with whoever is around and is pretty good at his job but shit at explaining it. also hes terrible at labeling shit and does tend to burn things (he doesnt admit to throwing the burnt shit out so theres always inventory discrepancies where hes involved). hes greasy and dirty and always down for a good time. he'll share his vape with you in the walk in (dont do that lol). on payday hes the first to invite everyone out for drinks and then uses their drunken shenanigans as ammo for playful teasing to get thru the next shift. hes such a huge flirt u think hed be very suave when he actually catches feelings but he gets really flustered and blushie ahahahaha

law is very dedicated to his job (even tho hes only working there to put himself thru med school) so he knows all sorts of shit and gets frequently tasked with training. new people. which he hates. hes meticulous and usually pretty cranky especially when hes late for his smoke breaks. he hates eating the food he cooks and buys cheap takeout from somewhere else on his way home every night, going home to study and watch anime...hes actually super dorky underneath his distant persona but call him out on it and he will never speak to you again. if a coworker tried to talk to him abt his interests he'll be suspicious at first but then starts actually looking forward to coming to work to chat abt the latest episode of sora hehehe
