general grievance here, this isn't targeted at you, blog owner: what people love to call young people slang (be it gen z, alpha or whatever) is often times just young white people picking up aave... it's rlly frustrating to see older people (at this point millennials i guess) decrying those words and phrases as destroying language or smth similar. Is it annoying when white people misuse aave? Absolutely. Is aave itself bad? no, and I wish all the "old man yelling at cloud" would shut up about it. Sorry for the rant, guess it's my baaulp grievance for the month

Yeah its rly weird to see phrases described as "new internet slang!" when its words i heard like 5-10 years ago in rap songs before. its rly crazy on certian parts on internet when white users sound like they are preforming some sort of carticature of black pepole, probablly not even thinking about the words they are saying and why. you can see it very clearly with that "freaky" trend that is popping up last few months.

Searching for stim GIF's!

As the title suggests I'm looking for the OG sources for some GIF's! It can be the OG video or the post, it doesn't matter. I just want to find a source to credit.

GIF one was made by desertstims and a broken link to it found here. An alternative version (the red one) I've also seen floating around.

I believe I found the OG Instagram account sveta_sanders but I can't find the original video.

small update I guess

This AI bullshit is getting to me a lot. In case anyone doesn't know there's a new toggle setting where you have to opt out of Tumblr giving AI companies your data. I don't even know how well that will even work, I feel like they're just going to give the data/images over anyway. You need to go to settings, blog settings and then scroll all the way down till it says "Prevent third-party sharing" and toggle it to opt out. I'm getting quite sick of all this tbh and I also only just fucking realised that Tumblr doesn't actually delete the posts you make if it has re-blogs? So if it has a re-blog your deleted post will stay on that other blog?? This upsets me a lot actually, I just had no idea. I take a fair bit of comfort in being able to delete my own stuff. I really don't know how to feel anymore. I get so much comfort from the tags on the re-blogs and I don't want to stop people from sharing my art and enjoying it. But not owning my own things is just .... confusing and tiresome at this point. as of right now I have no idea what I'm going to do with my account here. I want to stop posting but I don't know if I can as I love sharing my stupid drawings. It's hard to tell when I'm very upset so we'll just have to see.
