Reverse Robins AU where everyone is their canon ages but Bruce gets them backwards
And Sooner, thus smaller
Cass: David Cain makes the mistake of letting Bruce know of Cass. Bruce comes back to Gotham with an infant while David Cain resurfaces years later with a case of broken spine. Alfred is torn between pride in his son and exasperation at his newfound hobby of dressing like a furry. (Cass's first word is "bat")
Damian: Talia looks at Bruce (and his ruthlessness in child protection), likes what she sees, and decides he's her new baby daddy. She then spends the next few years in a push-pull seduction trip with Bruce (consensually, fuck you) while simultaneously building up her power base, weeding out her father's men, and plotting his downfall. However, when she becomes pregnant she vanishes for several months only for a baby to appear in Bruce's bed; swaddled in a beautiful blanket and tucked next to the wickedly sharp knife she murdered her father with. Cass is eight years old.
Tim: Bruce doesn't adopt Dick, he doesn't become Robin, thus Tim never connects crazy acrobatics between circus child and traffic light. He's still a baby stalker with an interest in Gotham's nightlife, but here batman works alone. He eventually figures it out anyway, but not before getting involved in something he really shouldn't have which leads to Bruce looking into the Drakes much sooner. By the time they fly back from wherever the hell they've been three months later, Tim's already living with the Wayne's and Bruce has legal blackmail a mile wide. Nine year old Cass has a new little brother big enough to dance with, One Year Old Damian is decidedly unimpressed as toddlers can be, and Six Year Old Tim is starry-eyed at living with the actual batman.
Jason: is eight years old when one of Batman's rouges explodes the building he lived in with his mother and Willis. (Something that wouldn't have happened if he had another pair of hands to help and distract with a quip and a laugh) Bruce Wayne finds him stealing his converter while visiting the memorial he set up in Park Row for his parents. (Jason doesn't know what this rich idiot with more money than sense wants with him; probably as a "playmate" toy for his three spoiled brats no doubt, but at least he'll be off the streets.) One kidnapping later and Jason is of the firm belief that he's still a rich idiot with more money than sense, because all his sense was beaten out of him in that fursuit. Jason turns nine with a seven year old stalker, a two year old demon, and a ten year old shadow as siblings and he's never been happier.
Dick: Oof. The scales of fate aren't fucked with lightly. His future siblings may have happier lives, but only because he suffered instead. Here's the deal: As in canon, the Graysons came to Gotham and died when Dick was nine. However, Bruce never went. Cass was sick, so Bruce never saw the Graysons fall. The Court of Owls did. And the rest, they say, is history. (Until the Kidnapping of Jason Todd, "Street trash" sullying the Wayne name, cracks the Court's disguise and Batman finds an immortal sixteen year old Assassin in the depths of Gotham's oldest cult.

Any loser facts abt Peter in your universe? I see all Spider-Man's having atleast one (Or several) moments of "The Parker's luck", like swinging and falling into the dumpster, being the Smart-but-dumb person, or doing smth cringe to the point to embarass and make them stay awake at night
And I think it would be funny as hell if he is this smart, hot, skillful, intelligent with tragic backstory but still a little bit of a loser
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hunting!Spiderman is absolutely a loser.
His biggest public embarrassment was taking on Captain America in his OG world. They were on opposite sides for some comic shenanigan reason or another, and ended up having to fight.
Captain America laid Spiderman out to fucking dry. Full on KO. He was obliterated, so completely and effectively that he legitimately had a crisis about it.
Even worse, Captain picked him up over the shoulder and took him to safety afterward. He woke up asking what time and year it was.
it was captured live on Tiktok, and mem-ed to absolute hell. Tags like #Spideryamcha and #Spideybeatdown were trending for weeks. JJ split the video into single frames and ran it on every website/article/blog of the Bugle.
Halloween was brutal. And endless stream of couple costumes, kids dressed as Captain America with spider-plushies, beach towels with Spidey's image, advertised thrown over the shoulder. God the Spotify playlist... (Beating me up/Mama Said Knock you Out/Getting Beaten Up/Lay Me/I'm a loser/Bad Day...and so on)
Now, to be clear, Spiderman has had his fair share of losses. He's not invulnerable- and to most of the masses, the power difference between Captain America and Spiderman is minimal.
But Spiderman knows better.
For reference, Captain America is an enhanced human. He's fast, strong, dexterous- and can lift up to 1200 pounds.
Spiderman can go toe-to-toe with the Hulk. Spiderman can lift up to 25 tons.
This shouldn't have been even close. And it wasn't. This is when Peter realized that having mutated muscles and superhuman strength didn't mean anything if he didn't know how to use them. Most of his rogues gallery up until that point (Rhino, Vulture, the classics-) were just dudes with souped up bodies/tech.
Captain America, highly trained and disciplined, was able to read him like a flimsy pamphlet, capitalizing on all his weaknesses to take Spidey out like yesterday's garbage.
TLDR: Spiderman got hilarious humbled on Tiktok and his rep took a hit that never totally recovered.
For new world Loser facts:
-Peter Parker is living above St. Margaret's on Weasel's charity. -Has to basically work for free for room and board -Has literally no friends or family (yet) -Can't hold a Starkphone in the right direction to save his life Stay tuned for more!

What do you think about Evrart Claire? You mentioned you think about him in one of your tags I think.
okay i will first direct to you to trusted mutual @sydmarch for the most in-depth evrart thoughts with the appropriate warning for nsfw lmfaoo
but like. evrart is one of those characters where you have an initial knee-jerk reaction to them and then you kinda have to reevaluate after all is said and done because you get a LOT more context on them as you go.
most shallowly, you're meant to see evrart as the slimy "fantastically corrupt" union (mob) boss who sits in his office embezzling and making others do his dirty work (the hardies as his enforcement, you as his little errand dog, you get the point). however, a first point i want to make is that comparing a justified labor or civil rights advocate group to a "mob" is such a ubiquitous piece of capitalist/bigot rhetoric that it should automatically clue you in to the fact that something else is going on here. also taken in context with the fact that kortenaer poses as a scab to break the strike, further framing the union as a lazy, entitled, unreasonable splinter faction of stupid socialists-- obviously we know that the people who made this game are leftists, so it's not just Ough Unions Bad. there is Something Else Going On! because we are seeing this union strike filtered primarily through the lens of someone who is, consciously or not, a moralintern lackey! even at his most self-aware, calling himself the moralintern's bitch, harry does not have enough awareness of the world and his role in it to recognize how he is being manipulated by the various agendas at play here, and that affects our perception of it.
i think evrart presents as corrupt and weaselly on purpose! again syd has said a lot of this already & i've added some stuff in their tags, but i'll reiterate here for convenience. he is aware of the rhetoric people can use against him and he uses that to his advantage. he's using his personal reputation as misdirection. we see in dialogue that even joyce, an ultraliberal diehard capitalist who obviously dislikes the union, concedes that it was respectable in and of itself before the claires came in:
Tumblr media
and we can infer that a lot of that might be because the union was *less effective before the claires took charge*. of course a capitalist will respect an ineffective labor union! but on top of this, the claires' open "corruption" give anti-union people an easy target for criticisms that serve to legitimize the union itself. oh, they say, well, the union is alright, it's just the claires that are ruining it. it's misdirection and it's genius. evrart's reputation isn't a concern if the union is doing its job, right? and here's another thing: i think people will trust open corruption more than they'll trust altruism that seems to good to be true. especially in a world with something like moralism, where this organization has killed millions and will kill *millions more* for a "greater good" that is literally just the status quo. if evrart's corruption is an open secret, as joyce puts it, people feel they can trust him *because* he's transparent about the bad things he supposedly does or supports or whatever. at least he's honest, right?
this makes the juxtaposition of evrart with joyce SUPER interesting, too. i think they both have that 'honest about their bad traits' way of going at people- joyce with her self-aware but relentless ultraliberalism, evrart with his intentionally misrepresented agendas. of the two, i think people tend to like joyce a lot more, despite her and evrart using pretty much the *same exact tactics*, and i think that tendency is largely explained by the intersection of gender and fatphobia and ingrained capitalist rhetoric, but i digress.
yes, the way evrart's little tasks are presented makes them *feel* slimy- you're evrart's peone, you're a little bitch dog running his errands to get a gun you never should have lost to begin with, he knows how to help and he's toying with you- but it's on purpose!! you can be joyce's little bitch dog too and it's not framed anywhere near as scummy. It Is On Purpose. because if evrart pretends to be the "socialist" mob boss, maybe it really does get martinaise the youth center, or enough money to, you know, fix the crumbling buildings that could kill the tenants at any moment. there are genuinely good things he is sincerely trying to accomplish. he is curating his image exactly as he needs it to be to get things done and that's partly why joyce hates him *so much*.
and of course this isn't to say that the claires never do anything wrong. contracting dros to kill the previous union head, for example. if i had to pin evrart's major sin, i think he's an "end justifies the means" type of guy. the other union head candidate needed to die for progress to be made. the fishing village will have to go so we can build martinaise up properly. some people, if not willingly cooperative- like harry- need to be used for their status regardless. we see the union at the opposite end of "for the greater good" as moralism: where moralism wants to stall the world, the union represents ruthless progression. why else the red-vs-blue juxtaposition of the union vs the moralintern and its financial interests? the red banners draped over shipping containers?

So the One Piece brand has been doing radio broadcasts called Strawhat Space (/Mugiwara Space) where they bring in voice actors to chitchat about the series etc, most of the episodes they've featured just the main cast but they've started bringing in VAs for other characters too (one episode was Mayumi Tanaka/Luffy and Tomokazu Seki/Lucci, another was the OG three admirals etc) This week's broadcast featured Ryuuzaburo Ootomo and Yuriko Yamaguchi as Crocodile and Miss All Sunday respectively
Tumblr media
The promotional images for Strawhat Space have been Extremely Adorable and I know I'm a simp but god, this one is so cute
Now unfortunately, while my Japanese listening comprehension is good enough to follow along your average kids anime where the VAs speak clearly and take their turns, yeah, a radio show where the VAs stumble on their words a little and speak over each other is too hard for me to keep up with (not to mention my vocab just not being suited for this kinda thing)
But, if I didn't completely misunderstand Yuriko at one point, she seemed to mention that she hoped Crocodile would remain in the position of an ally in the story (after having teamed up with Luffy during Impel Down), and like. Yuriko I love you, you so are so right

With his back straight, steps measured and calm, Draco walked up the walk toward his house. Everything was carefully tamped down, carefully tucked away where no one could see it or guess at it. He wore the perfect mask, a mask he'd honed over the years and had been able to employ since he was young, the perfect defense against his parents, his strongest shield.
He entered his house and stood there in the entryway for just a moment, breathing in through his nose and out through his mouth. His composure was still held tightly, knowing that the moment it cracked he wouldn't be able to withstand the torrents of his emotions. That much had been proven time and again.
So he slowly, methodically went through the motions of checking the post he'd missed in the two days he was away, hanging up his cloak, changing into comfortable clothes, and unpacking his suitcase. Then he went to the kitchen and started making supper, a stew that could simmer on the stove and a hearty grain bread. A meal that would warm him from the inside out.
As he was shaping the loaves the door opened and the wind blew Harry in. He grinned at Draco, curls riotous around his face and shoulders, bronze skin tinted rosy from the chill in the air. "Hey you," he said, like seeing Draco was the best part of his day.
"Hi," he choked out.
Harry's eyes were soft, full of compassion and tenderness as he looked at Draco. He took his jacket off and sent it to the closet, "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked.
Draco shook his head, putting the bread into the oven to avoid having to meet the other man's eyes, not ready to let go of the control he'd held onto so tightly for two days.
"Can I hug you?" he asked.
After a heartbeat, Draco shook his head again. "No," he whispered. "Sorry," he added softly, tugging at the sleeves of his sweater and pulling them down over his hands.
"Why are you sorry?" Harry prompted softly, stepping into the kitchen and putting the kettle on.
He took a deep breath and let Harry start peeling back the layers, entered into the process of acknowledging his emotions. "You wanted to offer me comfort," he said. "I can't accept it right now but I don't want you to stop."
Harry hummed softly.
Draco continued, "And I am irrationally afraid that you will stop."
"I won't stop," Harry replied steadily. "It's not irrational for you to feel that way," he added, seamlessly acknowledging the trauma Draco had experienced and his willingness to meet him in his struggle. "I love you."
His heart twisted in his chest, leaving him aching and breathless at the easy way those words fell from the other man's lips. Like they cost him nothing to give them to Draco, like he expected nothing in return. "I can't," he whispered, eyes stinging.
"Can't what, sweetheart?" he asked softly.
"I'm sorry," he said again, "shit, Harry." Tears slipped from his eyes and down his cheeks, "Sorry. I don't mean to be a mess. I don't mean to keep pushing you away. I don't-"
"Hey," he said, interrupting Draco's words and ducking his head so that he could look in Draco's eyes. "I'm not going anywhere, you're not pushing me away. Having boundaries and not being ready for something doesn't push me away. I don't mind sitting in the mess with you."
"You shouldn't have to," he blurted, frustrated by his inability to control his emotions, by his need to talk it out instead of just processing it himself or just acknowledging that his parents are arseholes and their opinions don't matter. "Fuck," he bit out, wiping the tears from his eyes. "I should just be able to move on. To not care about-"
"It's okay," Harry said softly, voice low and easy. "It's okay for that to be hard. It's okay for you to want to be loved and treated with gentleness." He stood as the kettle started to whistle and began making tea. "I am happy to listen to you and to help you process."
He shook his head, wrapping his arms around his waist. "I hate that you always get all of the worst bits of me," he whispered. Because if anyone deserved Draco's very best, it was Harry; his sweet, lovely Harry who loved him with more heart and tenderness than Draco had ever known was possible. Harry deserved all of Draco's goodness, all of the best bits ought to go to him, not all of the struggling, ragged, despairing bits.
"They aren't the worst bits," he said, handing a cup of peppermint tea to Draco before he settled back into his stool on the other side of the island with his own cup. "But even if they were, I'm glad to have them. I want all of the bits of you." He said it so earnestly, so painfully honestly, that Draco had no choice but to believe him.
It seemed like too much, like something that was completely undeserved and unwarranted. It seemed impossible that anyone could want all of the parts of him, could want to allow him space for all of the feelings and emotions he was hosting.
It seemed impossible that anyone could actually love him when the people who had made him and raised him only wanted him to be the cut out they'd designed for him. But as he looked at the other man's face, open and earnest as he waited for Draco to say more, the dam burst.
And Draco shattered.
Tears spilled from his eyes as his breath caught in his chest, pain radiating from the very core of his being through his chest and abdomen. "Harry," he whispered, reaching for him across the island.
Harry was around the island, letting Draco pull him close, in an instant. His arms wrapped around him and he held Draco up, "Hey. I see you," he whispered into Draco's hair. "You are good."
He let out a gasping sort of sob, "I'll never be enough for them," he said. "Never. It doesn't matter what I do, they'll never," he broke off as a sob forced its way out of his chest. "I try so hard," he whispered, "I can't-" he broke off again, not even sure what the end of that sentence was meant to be.
"I know," Harry replied, cradling him close with unbearable tenderness.
All of their words, their admonitions, their lectures, and guidance flooded through him, weakening all of the places in his life that he'd worked so hard to fortify after leaving home. The work that he'd done always felt like it came to nothing when he was with them, "I'm always too emotional, too lazy, too ugly, too stupid, too imperfect-"
"It's not true," the other man replied fiercely. "None of that is true, love."
"And I want to believe that," he said. He wanted to believe that more than anything. "Merlin, I want to believe that so much but I just-" he broke off, unsure of how to finish his thought.
"It's hard when that's not what they say," Harry finished for him when Draco lost the ending of his sentence. "I know," he murmured, holding Draco a little tighter still. "You are good, and kind, and clever, and fucking gorgeous. And you may be imperfect, but we all are."
He took a deep breath and then let it out slowly, then he did it again as Harry slowly stroked his hand up and down his back soothingly. He wanted to apologize but he knew that Harry would just make him explain why and then tell him that he didn't want or need that. He wanted to tell him he'd do better, be better but knew that Harry would just tell him that he wanted him as he was. That he loved him. And he didn't want to make Harry feel like he had to say all of those lovely, kind things when Draco was so ugly and broken. He didn't want to be more of a burden than he already was.
"I wish you'd let me come with you," Harry murmured, pressing a kiss to the crown of his head.
Draco huffed a laugh, "They'd tear you apart," he said. "I'd never ask that of you."
"I'd like to see them try," he said. "I just don't like that you're so alone," he continued. "I don't like that there's no one to stand up for you or at the very least tell you how spectacular you are in the quiet moments in between."
He sniffled a little and let himself imagine what it would be like not to be alone when he went to his parents'. "Thanks," he murmured. "I don't know if I'm ready to tell them about us yet," he added a little nervously, he loved Harry beyond measure and he didn't want the other man to think his hesitancy was a reflection on him.
"I'm not trying to rush you," Harry assured, "I just hate what happens to you every time you see them."
He closed his eyes and relaxed against Harry, letting the torrent of emotions batter his rib cage while Harry held him up. "I love you," he whispered.
Harry hummed and kissed the top of his head again, "I love you too. So much."
They stood together in the kitchen, Harry's arms around him, for a long time until Draco's stomach started growling and the timer for the bread in the oven went off. Dinner was quiet, but a part of Harry's body was always touching Draco; his foot against his shin, fingers tangling together, an ankle wrapped around Draco's: a constant reminder of his love and support.
And the rest of the night was similar, quiet and calm interspersed with Draco's stories of what had happened, lines and phrases that had been said to him, the re-telling cathartic even as it made him cry. Harry listened with rapt attention, focused on what Draco had to say, offering kindness and love, gently telling him what was actually true and washing away the lies.
They climbed into bed at the end of the day and Harry pulled Draco close, wrapping around his body and cradling Draco against his chest. And Draco let out a sigh, pulling Harry's arm just a little further around him and bringing his hand up to his lips, "Thank you," he murmured.
"My pleasure," Harry murmured into the back of his neck, "truly delighted to get to be with you and love you."
"It's a lot," he whispered.
"It's really not."
He huffed, "it feels like it is," he said as a tear slipped down his cheek.
"That's fair," Harry said softly, "but you don't feel like a lot to me. This doesn't feel like a lot. Loving you is the easiest thing I've ever done."
Draco closed his eyes and let out a slow breath and tried to let himself believe those words. Loving Harry was the easiest thing he'd ever done, so maybe, just maybe, he could believe that was true for Harry too.

About the affection post, in a brighter note:
James meeting Adam and after beating each other up and teaming up to not to die, Ironwood slowly introduces affection to Adam, like someone who rescued a feral cat.
It can go two ways, 1) platonic/fatherly love or 2) Ironbull.
Funnier if this happens before RWBY, the idea of Adam snitching to James and ruining Cinder's plan is so funny to me
Listen, I'm not saying having a father figure in his life would've saved Adam, but it absolutely would not have hurt after Ghira dropped the ball so hard it broke through the floor and killed a small child.
