The hate on Roxy because she's a "bitch" and a "narcissist" and... wanting to get Gregory? (When literally everyone besides Freddy is also trying to kill him???) Is so fucking stupid and just shows how much you people hate female characters. I'm about to go in-

First of all, the bad talk at Gregory in SB was because she was hacked by Vanny, (even her behaviour when you see her through the vents in her room) obviously there was no way she'd actually talk like that to a KID, but alot of you seriously believe that. And yeah, ok, she says a few mean things, so what? SO WHAT? If this was Monty's, or maybe Bonnie's personality instead, would you be spewing hate at them, or continue to simp for them and call their behaviour hot? I know for a FACT that a lot of you would. Not all female characters have to be too sweet or quirky and silly for you to like.

Back to Roxy's bad talk, you may think "Well, none of the others bad talk him!!" Yeah, it's because everything Roxy says to him is actually targeted to herself. The game clearly showed us how she actually feels: crying alone in her room, constantly telling herself that she's not a loser, and questioning if everyone loves her. Her praising herself are reminders to feel like she's still loved more than anything.

And the one thing that boosted her confidence alot was her looks. Her looks clearly meant so much to her, and we see this in Help Wanted 2 as well, so obviously she would be furious and lose it if someone took that away from her, including her ability to see.

And before I say anything else, I just wanna say that no I'm not angry at Gregory at all, he is just a child who was doing everything he can to survive, and if I were in his place, I would've done the same as well to protect myself. But at the same time, I understand Roxy's anger too. If I were someone who had very low self esteem that I reassure and prepare myself everyday to hang on, when one day, suddenly someone hits me with a whole go kart that shatters my entire body, and on top of that, they steal my eyes too? Yes, I wouldn't just be devasted, but I'd be very angry as well. Roxy was taken everything away from her, and was left to rot alone, I don't blame her for being angry at all.

Now more onto Ruin, which shows us her true side all along.

In the dlc, I don't think (Or it's clear at this point) that any of them are hacked anymore, since we assume that Vanny left with Gregory and Freddy in the good ending, and Glitchtrap is gone. But with Chica and Monty, I feel like they've just lost themselves and are completely broken. Even when seeing Cassie, they still tried to kill her. But with Roxy, she was the only one who recognised her when she heard her voice, and even apologized for grabbing her.

Later on, when Cassie stumbles onto Roxy again, this is where we see her TRUE self. Where she's sweet, soft, and not as mean as everyone made her out to be. (The way she gently speaks to her and holds her hand will never not make me cry) We know that from Roxy's lines, she was one of few who actually showed up to her birthday, since her friends didn't and was the reason why Cassie was crying in one of the cut outs we see. But Roxy was there for her, and she still remembered her special day, her favourite cake, and she was her number one - twice.

This part CLEARLY shows you that Roxy isn't a selfish jerk who only cares about herself, she cares about the kids, and she cares a lot about Cassie. There's a reason why she's Cassie's favourite, right? And don't forget that she literally went up against the mimic to protect her!!!

And I do wanna say that, no, this post isn't telling you that you're not allowed to dislike Roxy or criticise her at all, the issue is hating her character and personality when she would've been praised for it and called "hot" if she were Monty, Moon, Bonnie, or if she was Glamrock Foxy instead. (Which is... literally misogyny) Like, even before Ruin, there were people who hated Roxy for being a jerk, but then turn around and praise Monty when we see him being way more aggressive, while theorizing that he was the one KILLED Bonnie over jealousy. Not even because he was hacked, just... jealousy, and that's not him being 10 times worse than Roxy???

Don't forget the details in Monty's Gator Golf minigame, where in some levels, Freddy was always seen separated from the gang, and in the last level, you see Monty performing along side Roxy and Chica, while Freddy was thrown in the trash...

To me, this is clearly because he's jealous at Freddy, and wants to be the star instead. And along side him possibly killing Bonnie...

I'm sorry, but while I do like Monty, he is literally WAY more of a jerk. Alot of you people believe he killed Bonnie, is extremely jealous, way more aggressive, and yet Roxy is the worst of all for saying "I bet you don't even have friends" to a child when she was HACKED? But yeah, also praise the literal child murderer and abuser for being "interesting" and a cool character, but no, Roxy is the worst because she's a bitch. It's just so ridiculous, and I'm not surprised in the slightest, female characters will always get this treatment.

Alright, it's finally out of my system, anyway stan Roxy.

hey anon- i popped into this blog to post something completely unrelated, but seeing this ask i'll just do a semi-brief response to this: (news flash to the me who started this answer- this is no longer brief)

i haven't watched season 4. i've seen clips. i know the spoilers. i don't know that i will actually be watching it, sad as that is for me when there are certain things i wanted to watch develop properly... i might at some point, but it doesn't look to be something i necessarily want to actually properly watch start to finish...

before anyone comes at me for having strong opinions on a season i haven't watched top to bottom- don't. i don't need to have seen every shot to have a very solid understanding. i've seen a lot via socials... i "know what i'm talking about" to the extend i need to here. people are going to have their own subjective opinions, myself included, whether they've seen every second or haven't.

i told my friend on the phone when it came out that after seeing everything it seems like season 4 is more like retcon: the musical: the series...

if anyone has anything Specific they'd like talked about, i'd probably be happy/willing to do so, but admittedly, i'm not super keen on enduring the disrespect that was done to the early two seasons of the series...

also similarly- if anyone wants my thoughts on specific aspects of an alternative season 4... like things i could've envisioned for it pre- like- us getting any content... whether it's end of season 3 compliant or even like- conceptually compliant... i'm down to perhaps talk about that kind of stuff? or a sort of five season thought process... since obviously ending the series in the middle of the school year... pretty odd... especially with how they were acting like oh no this is the End...

my thoughts on this show are largely based in my understanding of the series format and arcs based in season 1 and season 2... season 2 is a very grounded season for all it tries to accomplish with limited degrees of success... i know people dislike it for various reasons, i think i actually like it for some of the reasons some people dislike it. and conversely a lot of people like season 3 for the reasons i dislike it. (and i'm not talking ships here folks- i'm talking stories and i'm talking style)

also for all i'm saying here- and this is definitely not to the degree of a traditional analysis post i would make... i would be willing to get into certain things if i am asked about them specifically.

before anyone comes here to scream at me- the thing i dislike about the season was the way it was done- not certain things being done in general. also i think it's a bit sad that they didn't think the story they were telling in season 4 couldn't stand on its own legs and needed all the associated retcon to make sense... there were ways to pull off a lot of what they wanted to accomplish- while still respecting the series and its roots

i think the conclusion i've come to in large part is that season 4 is not the same show as season 1. this is in a lot of ways, and for a lot of reasons. some out of the writers control. some just- due to changes in climate and in process. i know there's been more effort in the latter two seasons to listen to actors more with what they want, which changes things too. this can be a good thing in some cases and less so in others i tend to think (and this is an opinion i hold beyond this show)... i think there's been some disrespect done to different characters in different ways. i think characters have been somewhat reshaped to fit the narrative the show now wants to follow rather writing a narrative which fits the original characters. (and yes this can be done while having character growth/progression.)

one thing i'm very happy with, to end this post on a positive note: kourtney and her story. from all i've seen- she was handled very, very well this season, and it's wonderful to see how far this girl has come. she was only supposed to be a one episode character in season 1 initially before dara auditioned and changed the game, and i think that shows in kourtney's lack of initial depth that first season. she's gotten so much more to do, and i think dara's talents being showcased in the latter two seasons even more has been a wonderful thing. i'm thrilled- and i also love that kourtney got a very solid college arc, i think that was important to do with at least one of the characters, and i'm pleased it was her. she deserves it.

well, hi. hello! new series being posted, this time with a rockstar universe. icaru’s sun is an idea i’ve been harboring for a while now and one night i made the poster and the next the synopsis, so i think it’s ready to be presented to all of you. it it’s not a light fic, because, as you can see from the warnings there is a lot to look out for, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. i’ll make sure to add on the chapters the more in detail warning for those who would like to be cautious, and you’re valid for that! differently from bet you can’t, my other series, this won’t have that amount of pairings, is strictly with band members and maybe a bit more, you will see. the end will also be different. i guess that summarizes what is to be expected, see you later.

I had one on Mischa and Hannibal, exploring love for a real person vs love for an imago; had one analyzing how Jack and Bella's plot was a parallel to Hannigram; one about Abigail and Hobbs and how they were also parallels to Hannigram, but I'm hesitant to share more. I might even abandon this blog.

I came here under the mistaken impression that this was a safe space to express my thoughts, not an open invitation for debate. My intention was never to solicit opinions; I’m simply sharing musings, yet some people assume that the mere act of putting a thought into the world means it’s up for discussion. That’s not always the case.

Even if I were to block comments or reblogs, I know there would still be those who screenshot, tag me, send asks determined to insert themselves where they were never invited. It’s fascinating, really, this belief that every thought someone shares must be subjected to public agreement or disagreement, as if validation were the natural endpoint of expression. If I don’t agree with something, I move on. But there’s a particular breed of online discourse, especially among younger people, that operates under the assumption that they are entitled, obligated even, to weigh in, to declare, “I don’t agree 100%” or “Actually, I’m not sure I agree.” And? No one asked. The entitlement is baffling.

This isn’t a political manifesto, nor some grand ideological battleground. It’s a blog about a TV show. The sheer level of energy some people expend dissecting and debating trivial thoughts as if they were world-shattering issues is exhausting. I have a life. This is a hobby. I do not have the patience or inclination to entertain teenagers who mistake their own opinions for decrees and believe they must broadcast every thought they have, relevant or not. It drains the joy out of everything.

I understand that many people here struggle with mental health issues, but this goes beyond that, this is a pathological need to engage in unnecessary, uninvited confrontation. It’s not insightful. It’s not constructive. It’s simply tedious. And the classic “You can’t take criticism” response...Where did I ever ask for criticism? What compels someone to believe they’re entitled to critique thoughts that were never directed at them in the first place?

If you’re so deeply invested in social issues, if you see yourself as some moral authority, then go do something meaningful. But wasting your time policing strangers on the internet over inconsequential musings? That’s not activism. That’s not righteousness. It’s just performative self-importance.

The level of rudeness I’ve encountered over a post that was primarily an analysis of Hannigram, hundreds of words on why their relationship could be sexual in canon, because of one small paragraph mentioning ace people's projections is astonishing. That single mention was enough to derail the entire discussion, proving my point exactly: the projection is so relentless that they ignored the actual post and made it about themselves. The title wasn’t “Ace People Project onto Characters”...the post wasn’t even about them. Yet, the response was an outpouring of hostility, devoid of valid points or genuine critique, just raw projection, ignorance, and misplaced outrage.

What’s truly ironic is that in their attempt to refute my claim, they confirmed it. They didn’t just project onto characters, they projected onto me for simply pointing out a pattern they don’t want to acknowledge. And as I said in the post, if it doesn’t apply to you, why take it personally? Just move on. But of course, the ones who responded with the most vitriol, the most unhinged reactions, are the ones with the deepest unresolved issues.

I made a passing comment on this because I knew the conversation would inevitably attract the same tired arguments: “Sex isn’t everything,” “Sex is inferior,” “They don’t need sex to love each other.” Which, sure, in some contexts, that’s a valid perspective. But it’s not a universal truth, it’s a subjective view. The post wasn’t even about whether sex is superior or inferior. I simply addressed a recurring comment about Hannigram that, 99% of the time, comes from ace people who struggle to separate their own identity from fictional characters, assuming that everyone must think and feel as they do.

Nowhere in that post did I decree some grand personal stance on asexuality. Nowhere did I say anything about ace people beyond the observation that they project. And that is not an opinion, it’s an observable fact, reinforced by the sheer volume of hostile responses proving the exact behavior I described. Instead of engaging with what was actually written, they twisted my words into something that suited their own insecurities.

If I have to include endless disclaimers, write paragraph after paragraph of over-explanation just to account for people who either lack the intelligence or the willingness to read in good faith, then I’m done. It’s exhausting. This entire environment has become a bizarre morality play, where actual atrocities in the world are ignored in favor of performative outrage over trivial blog posts.

News flash: spitting out self-righteous nonsense on a blog about a TV show does not make you intelligent, morally superior, or part of some grand discourse. You’re not as smart as you think you are. And this...this very attitude, is why everyone is miserable. You claim there’s a loneliness epidemic, yet you make it impossible to have genuine connections when every interaction feels like walking on eggshells, all because of a fundamental inability to interpret words and the fact that you think everyone is always against you. If I choose to stay is only so those ignorant people don't get what they wanted: to drive people who don't bend to their every opinion away.

And no, I’m not someone who expects everyone to agree with me. But that’s not even the point, what I share isn’t about being agreeable or disagreeable in the first place. There’s a fundamental rule in fanfiction: you never criticize a fic directly to the writer. Fanfiction is something people create out of love, as a hobby, or as a therapeutic escape. It’s free fan work, nobody is entitled to critique it. You can have your opinions, discuss them privately, or share them in spaces where they aren’t directed at the author. But to go out of your way to comment on their account with unsolicited negativity? What is wrong with you?

If your goal was to look smart or superior by reblogging with unhinged rudeness, devoid of actual reasoning or argument, you failed. Miserably. You look foolish, childish, and desperate for attention, making a spectacle out of something no one cares.

Plenty of people disagree with my posts, and that’s fine. But they have basic common sense, they don’t flood my replies or reblogs with absurd, aggressive nonsense. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, sure. But I also have the right to reject opinions that are unnecessary, unproductive, and add nothing of value. If your response doesn’t change the conversation, doesn’t contribute meaningfully, doesn’t do anything except prove my point while being blatantly rude, then why should I entertain it? I have no obligation to accept or engage with hostility from strangers who can’t even read properly.

let me start by saying, i’m not the one. won’t be the two, and have no plans of ever being the three. it’s quite obvious to me that this girl has never been stepped tf up too in her entire life- so allow me to be the first person to put you in your place ari. 

this morning i awoke to a lovely little dm from one of my followers informing me that ari was once again, posting about me on her wattpad. now this isn’t the first time, there has been plenty of times she’s thrown strays at me on her conversation tab- which i’ve also been notified of- but that quite honestly doesn’t affect me. if she needs to stomp her feet and cry, i’m all for emotional regulation.

however what does affect me is posting a MULTIPLE PARAGRAPH LONG CHAPTER about me, aus and lilah- completely lying about the situation. here’s the link to said chapter if y’all wanna read- but be warned, 99.9% of it is a lie. 

so let’s kick it off with lie number 1. we were not friends. i can understand how to ari- someone whose social life clearly doesn’t extend far outside of social media- you could’ve considered us friends. but I did not. will you be able to find posts of me calling her my friend once or twice? yes. because i previously used the word “friend” and “mutual” interchangeably, which i will admit fault too.

let me make something very clear right now. if I do not direct message you at least once a week, check up on you on my own free will or have called you/invited you into my home- we are not friends. sorry, not sorry.

my ACTUAL friend- whom I’ve met in person more than once and speak to everyday- willow (@willowsito), explained that to them in these screenshots. 

ari repeatedly doubled down, not apologizing for her polyphobic opinion.

she then came crying to me, saying she was being “slaughtered like a pig” and that if i wanted her instagram, i could have it- but she was done with Tumblr. (despite the fact she’s also admitted on her conversations tab to have checked my account even after deactivating, but I’ll digress.)

we had the following conversation.

mind you, this was on thanksgiving- i was trying to eat my turkey!!

now onto lie number 2. “made up lies about me, and claimed I was racist.”

we have never, EVER, made up a lie about you ari. you are racist. as proven in THIS screenshot and in your words: “-i think because the mf who wrote the story was hispanic or something.”  

onto lie number 3. nobody except ari- asked about ari. i am almost 99.9% sure of this fact. even if this isn't 100% true, i know for a fact that ari sent me a HEAP of anons- asking “what did 🎀 anon do??”.

i, not wanting to drag her name even more, decided not to say because she DID know! BECAUSE WE TALKED ABOUT IT PRIVATELY!! WHY WOULD IT BE ANYONE ELSE’S BUSINESS??

i even took the liberty to say, don’t send her hate- and i hope she grows. because i do believe that everyone in capable of growth, and i do wish that for her- even still. i’m not sure why she’s mad i won’t drag her name on my public, very popular, account- but since she wants me too- i suppose i will now. 

did we go onto her wattpad and confront her because she was lying about the situation? yes! however we did that, because SHE SPOKE ABOUT US FIRST! AND CAME ONTO MY WATTPAD’S CONVERSATION TAB SAYING “i don’t want you to be a distant memory” like mf is this a telenovela?? 

she then blocked us all on wattpad after it was obvious she had no valid argument against us. 

lie 5. Or- partly a lie, because I can’t speak for anyone other than myself- but i never sent her anonymous hate. because as i told her when she accused me of making a community JUST to hate her (which didn’t happen, because…not worth it😭)- i’m 18 years old, i don’t have time for that.

apparently, according to her, everyone else in the demographic thought she was in the right. …yeah, I’ll let the crickets speak for themselves! 

“1 down, 2 to go.” ari, this one is just for you. i don’t know what happened in your life to make lash out this way. i don’t know who hurt you, how they hurt you or what. what I do know, is that you hurt me- refused to change your behavior- and then got mad when people who were hurt by your behavior decided to no longer be associated with you.

Hey besties this is just a quick PSA that if you comment on my writing and say something along the lines of “nah, this fic pissed me off!” (in a negative way) and then you follow it up by saying that the characters should’ve done things differently, I will block you.

Cause it’s so unnecessary. And rude.

And if a fic pissed you off or you didn’t like it or whatever, that’s fine! But you don’t have to engage with it! You can just scroll by and go read something else!

or, you can write your own! (Though I have found that the people who post the rudest comments have never written or posted any original fics at all… interesting)

Anyway, your comment is not going to change the story, the plot, the characters, or the circumstances. It’s just going to irritate me.

I’ve had the same user (who I will not be naming) comment on multiple fics of mine and tell me that they don’t like my writing, that they don’t like the plot / circumstances, that they think the characters should do things differently, and I would just like to know

1) where they got the fucking audacity

2) why they think I want their shit opinion

There’s nothing wrong with valid criticism, but it should be ✨constructive✨ not whiny and hurtful.
