i'm going to be 100% honest. all love in my heart for nonsharers, but some of you take it way too seriously, breaking friendships or taking it super personally when a friend of yours ships with your fo isn't healthy!

i've lost friends to shipping with their fos before and it's just intensely upsetting that a character means more to them than me as a person.

I think I have mixed opinions on this, though I'll give my piece. I hope this doesn't delve too far into discourse catergory, this acccount wasn't supposed to be for that sort of thing.

I am non-sharing with my romantic f/os. I think it’s reasonable to feel hurt over such a thing, but I think it’s truly just situational. Everyone selfships for different purposes- while some simply find characters attractive and like to explore character dynamics, some may have genuine romantic feelings towards those characters. (cont. below)

I’ve ceased contact with some kind people when they selfshipped with the same characters my closer friends do, because I believe it’s a matter of respecting my friends personal boundaries. It can also be a matter of safety, as some people will genuinely spiral over those sorts of things. I won't touch much on that, but the very least I can do is keep them safe and respect what they laid out for me.

I am simply just an admin for a confession blog, so I cannot tell you how to think or what to think, but I wanted to deposit my two cents on the matter. If you want to curate your own space full of like-minded people, go for it! That’s what your corner of the Internet is for, you do not owe anyone your time or effort. As long as you are generally respectful towards others and nothing is harmful, have fun!

Object : Do they have a comfort item while regressed?

His Bug net! While he is a bug/butterfly regressor, he finds it fun to swing it around and play with. During non regression he still finds comfort in it being it’s something he holds onto as importance to his passion. But during regression he will try to “catch” the rest of the Welcome Home crew, normally ending with Eddie reminding him that he can’t just do that he has to ask others to play first.

Quizzical : While regressed would they wonder off and get lost? Are they easily distracted or entertained?

Frank tends to try to stay in his home, when not regressed he worries others may either judge him or just get annoyed with him when he is regressed (they don’t). But if someone where to visit and leave the door open he’ll run outside to go find his fellow bugs to play with.

Snacks : What do they eat while regressed?

Mostly greens and sometimes goldfish. Though Eddie being the big sweetheart he is, goes over and visits to give him creativity crafted snacks normally based off animals! Frank loves them.

On the subject of wanting V to hurt Cheeky in a horrible and unrepairable way, same. I don’t know why! Maybe it’s because I spend so much of those audios waiting for the other shoe to drop, so to speak. But I also wonder if V would…really care? I think he likes Cheeky quite a bit, but I also think that if Cheeky got in his way, or he thought she was interfering, he’d have zero issues removing her from the picture. Idk, just a thought.

while I do think that V, in the moment at least, wouldn’t mind removing them, would probably regret it later.

I feel like there would be a point in battle when Cheeky would try to help or maybe stop V because he’s gone to far but V, in his rage, wouldn’t realize and accidentally fuck them up but post battle be like terrified of what he did.

my fave headcannon is autistic airy... i think hes nonverbal which explains his hard time communicating: like how he had a hard time coming up and explaining the challenge in episode 3; how he's not very good at talking w/ the contestants (like his exchange w/ bryce in episode 1 for example); missing social cues and also how his voice is monotone i feel like he likes listening to music and did so frequently for a decade because it helps with sensory issues i also think he'd have unusual movement patterns/repetitive movements (this one is not based on anything in-canon just self projecting lol) also the way he rests his arms at the end of episode 17 feels like raptor hands

I'm totally all for sharing my f/o's, but the real struggle is when you see someone else liking any of them as well but you think to yourself that they're liking them the wrong way. You see a wonderfully complex character with flaws that hinder their expression of conventional romance and then somebody draws/writes them performing Conventional Romantic Actions™ 🙁 do we even like the same character?

Also this seems like a fun blog, I might return to write more 👀

YOU. You get it. I feel that way about several of my f/os, maybe not specifically for how they portray them romantically but definitely for liking them the wrong way in general. I'd say I have a bad case of "You Do Not Understand Them Like I Do" syndrome which doesn't sound fair to others but. Man some people really just don't get it

I had a moment like that last night actually, not to get too into detail but I came across someone on here who shared one of my mains, which was *already* not a fun time, but then I saw how they presented him and treated him and it just pissed me off, like they liked him in a more surface-level way rather than seeing him for what he's really like,, Like hello are we LOOKING at the same guy right now??
