sorry just got reminded of the entirety of uncanny x-men #309 and how it's charles having a therapy session with himself about his love life and desires and how he kept sacrificing himself and his wants for The Cause and the whole time he imagines erik to represent his innermost thoughts in the form of a therapist to have him unravel all this

The Proudstar Family - Thunderbird (John Proudstar), Warpath (James Proudstar) and Grandma Lozen Proudstar, are in charge of Camp Gozhoo where they shelter the mutant refugees. However, the Orchis soldiers had invaded their place and they started to harass the mutants. This prompts the Proudstar Brothers to fight off the Orchis soldiers. Also, Grandma Lozen stood up to the Orchis soldiers showing no fear as she laughs in their faces defiantly.

The Ghost of the X-Mansion gets better

Readers of Academy X and X-Treme X-Men might remember Jeffrey Garrett, a kid who was in the Mansion when it was blown up by assholes and haunted it as a pretty depressed ghost. Krakoa bought him back and it was just too much for the poor little guy. I'll let him tell you about it.

He looks so miserable. Little dude asked for Prodigy post resurrection while freaking out and grasping for anything familiar, and fortunately David is very kind.

Yeah, that'll do it.

Also missing an arm, it seems, but that's just an art mistake. Seriously though, talk about existential horror.

Sometimes someone just needs to be reached out to. You never know what someone else is going through, and our world is not short of banal horrors.

In this case, reaching out meant tracking people down for the little stories and feelings that don't make it to the wiki. Hey Frenzy! Hey Sage!

Any guesses as to what Quentin was resurrected without? My first thought is his dick but that's pretty messed up. A 14 year old former ghost might find it funny though!

I'd be giddy AF too. Prodigy visits a ton more people and makes a little psychic download doohickey for not just the memories, but...

Awww. Now we're past it it's pretty sad to think Krakoa is probably as good as it gets for mutants, but it's easy to see why it meant so much in universe and out. This is all from X-Men Unlimited #100.

I have been a little bit suspicious of Infinity Comics but I’m pretty gagged by House of Harkness’ debut.

The Five had brought back many mutants from the dead and usually the resurrections involves in celebrations. However, not all resurrected mutants liked the return to the land of living. One such resurrected mutant was Jeffrey Garrett, the mutant boy who originally haunted the X-Mansion as a restless spirit. Prodigy visits The Five who told him that the resurrected Jeffrey had already teleported before anyone could visit him. Prodigy figures that Jeffrey Garrett was too bewildered and disoriented about the new changes so he goes off to look for him. Prodigy finds Jeffrey at the cliff of the waterfall to talk to him.

This short story of Prodigy and the X-Kids take place before the fateful Hellfire Gala attack.

Rogue Origin Tidbits #3

Although there have been references here and there over the years to Rogue's upbringing, a majority of her origins remain relative cohesive.

-Rogue was born to Owen & Priscilla, partially raised by her aunt Carrie until running away as a young child. [Rogue vol 3.]

-Rogue meets Mystique and is adopted by her prior* to the activation of Rogue's mutant abilities. She is raised by Mystique and Destiny together. [X-Men Unlimited #4]

-Rogue's powers eventually activate and Rogue decides to join Mystique's brotherhood as a young teenager and remains with Mystique until she's 18 and joins Professor Xavier for help with her powers.

Over the years, there have been little stories and scenes to fill in the gap of Rogue's childhood some things have minor conflicts of timing, but nothing that directly contradicts her origin overall.
