Unearthing Riches
Unearthing Riches #artem #auctionsales #BlackHillsInstitute #fossildiscovery #historicalartifacts #legalbattles
Content 18+ In the summer of 1990, a crew from the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research set out to find fossils in a South Dakota ranch. After months of digging, they’d uncovered some interesting finds, but the summer was winding down, and the crew prepared to head home. Then, as if by fate, a flat tire changed everything. One member, paleontologist Sue Hendrickson, decided to stay back…

Not even really a crossover but it could be
Danny gets outed/reveals/something and everybody knows he's Phantom. There are science organizations that are absolutely *frothing* at the mouth to hire him.
He gets hired to modify and then deploy hurricane and tornado reading equipment because he's able to fly into the center unharmed. There is much less margin or error because he's always able to get the equipment deployed if the weather is still happening.
Maybe it's a side job while he's in school for his BA or something

I know it's not the right time of day to post this but hey. PC case commission, side and front, done! I'll post a mock-up of the whole thing once the top panel is also complete. The light blue area is actually meant to be a transparent part of the PC case.
Lagiacrus is a gorgeous monster. I'm a sucker for deep sea themed or Abyssal anything, though.
Going to make a desk mat out of this as well :D
Please no AI or repost, thank! (reblog is ok and appreciated)

On 2 May 2024, the remains of an unidentified ship were uncovered on the north beach of Sable Island off the east coast of Canada. As the archaeologists have not yet finished their investigations, we do not yet know who this lady is or how old she is, but hopefully that will change soon.

Mabon - Part 2 (Part 1 is -> here)
It's time for Ji Ho's dead brother to finally leave this world and move on to the other side. Guidry opened a gate for him. It's easier to move between the worlds on festivals in the wheel of the year.

There's nothing that keeps him here anymore and a good part of him had been gone long before.

TMI: Ji Ho's brother was played by aged down Olive Tinker, a premade from Evergreen Harbor. And she wasn't a ghost because I couldn't bear a 'real' dead child ö.ö Olives mother, Tina Tinker, also plays Ji Ho's late mother.

A sonar image of a maybe 700 years old "viking" ship
Archaeologists have discovered the remains of a mysterious ship in 2022 while searching for tonnes of unexploded munitions from WWII that were dumped at the bottom of a lake near Oslo.
Tumblr media
So far, there are only sonar images and these show the hull of the 10-metre-long wooden ship at a depth of 410 metres below the surface of Lake Mjøsa, about 100 kilometres north of the Norwegian capital. The fact that it is probably a Viking ship (which must be older then just 700 years, if it is one) can be recognised by the way the ship was built, as it is a clinker construction, and by the shape of the ship itself. What exactly is behind it will become clear after further investigations, which are still ongoing.
