Alatreon, Blazing Black Dragon

So, a while ago, I made an ink print of Alatreon. Well, I decided to color it! Wanted to go for a hatchy, line based style rather than full on realism, as I wanted to play into and add to the lovely line work I had already done, rather than cover it up. Pretty happy with how its come out.

I know it's not the right time of day to post this but hey. PC case commission, side and front, done! I'll post a mock-up of the whole thing once the top panel is also complete. The light blue area is actually meant to be a transparent part of the PC case.

Lagiacrus is a gorgeous monster. I'm a sucker for deep sea themed or Abyssal anything, though.

Going to make a desk mat out of this as well :D

i had a surprisingly wholesome last day playing monster hunter 3 ultimate online

was chatting with two other people about coming back after a long time, our favourite maps (we loved the desert plains at night with the starry sky) and just shooting the breeze

also at some point some dude joined and asked if i was single, and i replied i was not looking for a man on the wii u

Something I really like about monster hunters willingness to make radical changes from game to game is that it gives each generation in the series a very different feel, and for me at least, encourages me to go back to older titles now and again if I want something that’s a little bit different, whether it’s underwater combat in tri/3u, the verticality of 4u, or the flashy, over-the-top combat of generations and rise. None of them feel obsolete, just different takes on the same idea
