The Valiant Red Peony : Red Peony Gambler (1968)

Set during the Meiji era, RED PEONY GAMBLER stars Fuji as Ryuko Yano, the daughter of a gambler. When her father is murdered, Ryuko takes on a new name derived from the crimson flower tattooed on her shoulder – “Oryu, the Red Peony” – and sets out for revenge.

One thing I noticed about Japanese films is the use of flower names to reflect their character like in Shogun (2024) and Yae no Sakura (2013). Here, Red Peonies are flowers that can live over 100 years and thrive in cold winters, indicating that she survived the worst.

As mentioned in my earlier post, Asian films like Japanese films have always featured strong women who are feminine, gentle and caring with those they love and care but fearless, cunning, steadfast and a force to be reckoned with, against enemies.

There are numerous films such as this, Lady Snowblood (1973), Crimson Bat : The Blind Swordswoman (1969), Undercover Geisha (2003) & Ichi (2008), and anime such as Carried by the Wind: Tsukikage Ran (2000), Joran : The Princess of Snow and Blood (2021) & Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku (2023).

They inspire Hollywood shows like Kill Bill (2003), Blue Eye Samurai (2003) and Shogun (2024). Japanese films are underrated, especially the old ones that I feel it's wasted that most of these shows are not available on global mainstream sites for the world to enjoy and appreciate. But it's good to see people becoming aware of them.

TV Series Review: Undercover Geisha

Five out of five for great story, acting, and amazing stage performances. Now this is a series I wish had lasted more episodes!

Undercover Geisha (“Yozakura Osome”) is the Tokugawa-era story of the artist, performer, and sometimes spy Osome, who lost her family in a fire when she was young and is still looking for her surviving brother.

Along the way she uncovers more of her family history, gains a few enemies, and some interesting allies. Including a down-on-his-luck ronin, a merchant who may be more than he seems, and a “roofer” who’s definitely more than he seems. (Otoji does work as a roofer. In the daytime. Check out his outfit change in the first ep, so cool, superspies eat your heart out....)

The characters are great, the various cases and shenanigans intriguing, but if you have an interest in either fine points of Japanese history or live stage performances, this is a particular gem. Every episode shows acting, dance, acrobatics, juggling, and the like; much of the show revolves around the theater Osome teaches and performs at, with the actors and stagehands dragging in all kinds of drama and trouble. The head of the acting troupe’s ongoing relationship with a married cop, for example, deserves all the sympathetic facepalms it gets.

There are also interesting bits like, travel was heavily restricted in this era, but if you had an official letter of revenge you could legally head anywhere and claim you were looking for the guy you needed to kill. Or the Edo custom of “stones of the lost” - with so many fires and people in the city, people might get separated, especially children. So neighborhood areas had a stone where you could post up the equivalent of “missing” posters, in hopes someone, somewhere, might know where your family was.

Also watch for the ep where Osome gets drunk because Family and Problems, and constructs a Jenga-esque tower on the table out of sake cups, chopsticks, and anything else available. Then starts carefully pulling it apart....

Trivia note: The actress playing Osome, Mayumi Wakamura, is the same as the actress who played the geisha Tsutakichi in Gokenin Zankurō. Both excellent but different characters, good acting there.

All told it was a very upbeat series in comparison to some jidaigeki, with less gore and relatively few people dying. Would definitely feel okay putting this as PG-13.

This is my first time writing Zoro, I tried my best to capture his character but he is not the romantic type haha.

After returning from Whole Cake Island after saving Sanji, you worked as a geisha woman in disguise with Robin in Wano. "I believe Zoro wishes to see you again," Robin said with a smile. You felt the skin on your cheek burn. "W-We have to focus on taking Kaido down…I—" you stopped yourself, knowing that arguing with someone as intellectual as Robin would be a waste of time. "I'll cover up for you, just go and greet him. Besides, he might have collected some valuable information on our customers."

"When you put it like that, I'll go." You say, sneaking out of the house. You feel your stomach growl and decide to take a quick trip to Sanji's new food stand. On your way, you freeze as you hear Zoro talking to Sanji. "Don't you want to see Y/n-swan? She looked gorgeous in her geisha outfit." Sanji drooled. Zoro turned around, blushing, feeling a bit embarrassed. Sanji noticed Zoro's blushing and asked him again if he didn't want to see you. Zoro hesitated for a moment before saying no. You overhear this conversation and feel your heart break into a million pieces. You had been so excited to see Zoro, but now it seemed he didn't want to see you.

Sanji looked at him with confusion. "Why not? I thought you liked her," he said. "I do like her, but I don't want to put her in danger," Zoro explained. "I'm not strong enough to protect her yet. I need to get stronger first." Sanji nodded, understanding Zoro's concerns. "I see what you mean," he said. "But you know, Y/n-Swan is a strong person, too. Maybe you could talk to her about it and see what she thinks." Zoro thought about it for a moment, but he wasn't sure if he was ready to talk to you about his feelings. He knew that you deserved someone strong by your side, but he didn't want to lead you on or hurt you in any way.

He knew that he had to become stronger so that he could protect you and be with you, as the crew had many enemies. He would train harder than ever to become the world's strongest swordsman. He knew it would be a long journey, but he was willing to do whatever it took. The scar on your leg from defending him against Mihawk after their first battle still haunts him.

You quietly walked away, tears streaming down your face. You had been so excited to see Zoro, but now it seemed he didn't want to see you. You didn't hear Zoro's confession to Sanji about his feelings for you, as you had already left.

After your Captain's victory over Kaido, Wano hosted a big banquet party to celebrate their new freedom. You sat next to Nami, confiding in her. Nami listened patiently, his eyes wide with empathy. "Don't worry, Y/n. That idiot loves you. He just doesn't know how to show it sometimes." You smile as you find comfort in Nami's words. You feel a tap on your shoulder and turn around to see Mr. Kuyama standing there. He was one of your clients during your undercover job as a geisha woman.

He looked at you with admiration and said, "Y/n-chan, you are the most beautiful geisha I have ever seen. I would be honoured if you would consider marrying me." You felt flattered but didn't know how to respond. Nami stared at you in disbelief; there was no way you were going to leave the crew for a marriage. However, if you marry him, you'll be the richest woman in Wano. Nami drooled over the thought of the money your kind heart would gift her. Before she could say anything, Zoro noticed the man's advances and felt a burning sensation in his chest. His grip tightened around his sake bottle as he struggled to contain his rage.He couldn't bear the thought of you being with anyone else but him. Feeling the tension, Luffy stretched his arm, dragged you to him, and stuffed your mount with meat, hoping to help Zoro by observing the situation from a distance. The Captain facepalm himself when he sees Zoro walking up to Kuyama, grabbing his shirt. "Hey, back off. She is not available for marriage." He said between his teeth. "M-My a-apologies Zoro-San", the poor man managed to stutter out before running away. You could swear that he wetted himself a bit.

Zoro turns around and sees your disapproved face, he could tell he messed up. He left in embarrassment, knowing that you'd confront him anytime soon. It'd be better for the two of you to talk in private. You left Luffy's side to follow Zoro, knowing he'd probably want to choose the meeting spot.

You spotted Zoro standing alone outside, staring at the stars. With hesitant yet determined footsteps, you approached him, letting out a heavy sigh. "Zoro," you started, gently yet firm. "Zoro, what happened earlier?"

He turned to face you, his expression guarded as he pretended not to know what you were talking about. "Nothing," he replied sharply, his tone short. Your frustration grew as he dodged her question. "Zoro, please," you urged, her voice tinged with urgency. "I saw how you reacted. Please tell me what's bothering you."

"I just couldn't bear to see you… with him," he mumbled. "Huh?" you said in confusion. "I just couldn't bear to see you with him, okay!" His honest admission softened your heart. You closed the distance between you and gently touched his arm, offering him silent comfort.

"I see, I didn't know as I thought you didn't want to see me." Zoro is now the confused one. "What are you talking about?"

"I overheard you talking to Sanji about not wanting to see me," you mutter, looking down. He gently lifts your chin to look you in the eyes. "It's not that I don't want to see you. Hell, I would rather spend time with you than training. I just wish I was strong enough to protect you. I don't want anyone else to take you away from me." You smiled, feeling a sense of ease by his confession. "You don't have to protect me, Zoro. Just love me."

With those words, Zoro pulled you into his arms and gently kissed you. The rest of the world melted away as you lost yourselves in the moment.

As you pulled away from each other, Zoro looked at you with a newfound sense of confidence. "I'll always protect you, Y/n. No matter what." Since that day, the two of you have been inseparable.

After the events on Whole Cake Island,  you rejoined your Crew, the Heart Pirates, with the strawhats. You never interacted with Shachi, Penguin and the rest of your crew due to your shy personality. Suddenly you can interact with them without any problems and are really close to Sanji on top of it. Even so, Penguin isn’t quite fond of you, seeing you and Sanji flirting with each other makes him a little jealous.

Chapter 1: Wano Kuni, here I come.

“No, you won’t be doing this! Law said angrily. You gulped and looked him in the eyes. “But Captain. I wanna help as well.” - “Then join Bepo, Shachi and Penguin.” Law was totally annoyed. You were with the strawhats on Whole cake Island to help them save Sanji, despite the fact that you were a member of the Heart Pirates. Captain Law wasn’t happy with your decision, but he trusted you enough to let you go for this mission. Now you and the rest of Luffy's crew are on Wano and reunite with the other members as well. As the other strawhats received their undercover role in Wano Kuni you wanted one as well and had an idea, but your captain wasn’t very happy about it. “I want to be more useful for once. Please, I beg you, captain.” Law was getting more furious. “You won’t be a prostitute here, are you nuts?!” He couldn’t control his voice. Normally you would tremble, avoiding your gaze. But you learned a lot from the strawhats while you were on WCI and didn’t look away. “I won’t be doing this kinda stuff I promise. But this Kyoshiro guy is suspicious. I am sure I can gain helpful information from either him or Komurasaki. Maybe I can work as a geisha or whatever by his side.” Law sighed heavily. “This is way too risky. You know that. If you wanna be active, you can join blackleg-ya and help him with his soba noodle shop. You can cook as well.” Law was staring at me with an unamused expression. Your face lit up. “Ok. I won’t disappoint you. Thank you captain.” And with that and the help of Kinemons devil fruit you were ready for your first mission.

A few days later~

“There is nothing going around lately.” Shachi sighed while he watched the area with binoculars. Shachi, Penguin and Bepo's daily routine was observing and  delivering Kinemon’s secret message to his allies. Bepo stood up and was on his way towards the city. “Where are you going, Bepo?” The mink turned around, looking at his two crewmates. “I will go see Sangoro and Y/N to share our newest information. “Oh right. Y/N is back. I didn’t see her after she left Zou.” Penguin said while Shachi nodded his head. “Yeah I wonder why she even joined the strawhats or why the captain allowed it.” Penguin hummed. “We should accompany you. I could use something to eat.” And with that the three of them were on their way to the city.

While they arrived in the city they could see Sanji’s soba noodle shop on the streets and with that a large crowd of customers. “Woah, his business is insane.” “Their noodles are absolutely delicious” Bepo said and was on his way towards the shop. “Hey Shachi look. There are so many beautiful women there.” Penguin was in paradise. A small blush on his face. Shachi shook Penguin’s shoulder. “Dude look at this girl in this cute (f/c) kimono. She looks like a princess. Their cook is such a lucky bastard to have so many women gathering around him.”

While they were fangirling about all those women, Bepo sat down on a near bench, receiving a bowl of noodles from said girl. Shachi and Penguin rushed to his side while Bepo was enjoying his soba noodles. “Bepo what are you doing?! I thought you wanted to share information.” The mink looked at them sheepily. “My apologies. But I was so hungry.” Before Shachi and Penguin could say anything else, the girl with the (f/c) kimono joined them. “Hey guys, wanna have a bowl of our soba noodles as well?” She asked and smiled at them. Both men jumped in surprise, smiling like idiots and nodding their heads, while sitting on the bench beside Bepo. After a few moments, she joined them with two bowls of hot soba noodles. “Enjoy your meal.” Shachi and Penguin were in heaven. This girl was way too cute for their own heart. “Can I have another bowl please?” Bepo asked shyly and the woman was holding his empty bowl in her hand. “Of course Bepo.” She said happily and again gave him a big smile. Bepo replied with a smile as well. “Thank you Y/N. Those noodles are the best. I missed your cooking.” Penguin and Shachi choked on their food and coughed, nearly dying from this. “Oh no, I forgot the water.” You said and were fast to bring both of them a glass of water. After they drank a big gulp of water they were staring at you. “W-Wait…Y/N?!” Penguin asked surprise. Shachi was still coughing while he tried to get a good look at you. “You are Y/N? What happened?” You tilted your head. “You mean on Whole cake island? That’s a long story. Maybe I should tell you this later.” “No!” Shachi shouted at you and you shrieked in surprise. “I meant what happened to you. You were always sitting alone in the corner, without even talking or looking at us. You were a plain and inconspicuous person. How the hell are you so different right now? Why do you chat with us like we were good friends?” You were pouting and felt anger rising in your chest. Before you could answer Shachi, Sanji came by your side leaning an arm around your shoulder. “Y/N-chan, is everything all right?” Sanji asked you while his gaze was on your crewmates. The blonde looked pretty pissed. “Yes Sanj- eh I mean Sangoro. Shachi is just being a bit rude right now.” You calmly said. Shachi was shocked while Penguin couldn’t even say anything at all. He was just staring at you. “Mi amore, if they don’t wanna be around your beautiful presence I will. Will you join me again?” Sanji said with a smile on his lips, as he turned his head so he could look at you. He clearly had heart eyes right now. You met his eyes and chuckled. ”Ok there, handsome. We have a lot of work to do today. Go ahead. I will join you shortly." Sanji nodded and went back towards his little shop. “You can flirt? Are you even the same Y/N we know? Our crewmate?” Shachi was still on and you turned towards him. Your smile was gone. “Of course I am. You just don’t know me, otherwise you wouldn’t say something like that.” “What are you saying? You ignore us all the time by sitting alone in the corner and reading a book without joining us for any fun occasions.”  Penguin stood up looking between the both of you. “Stop it guys.” You both gazed at each other. “I had my reasons for it.” 

”Only because you decide to dress up and be friends with the strawhats doesn’t mean you can trashtalk us right now.” Penguin was touching Shachi’s shoulder. “Shachi, stop there for a second.” But they both ignored Penguin. “HEY!” You heard a loud yell. Sanji was on his way towards you with an angry look on his face. “Can you stop screaming for once? And don’t you dare talk to Y/N-chan like that.” Without waiting for an answer, he grabbed your hand with a ‘Come on, my dear’ and dragged you away from Bepo, Shachi and Penguin. “Now I know why she is like that. They both have the same attitude.” Shachi growled. Bepo tried to calm Shachi down. Penguin was looking at you and Sanji. You were so different back there. He kinda liked you smiling at them earlier and being friendly towards them. You were never interested in your crewmates except for Captain Law, Ikkaku and Bepo. Never ever talking or interacting with him or Shachi. Seeing you like this, talking to them without any problems, he felt unsure and a sting in his heart. He wished you were able to interact more often with him and the rest of the crew in the beginning. After time passed he figured out that you dislike them, so Shachi and Penguin weren’t too keen when it comes to you as well. Penguin was looking at you. You were working and smiling at the blonde chef. Penguin gritted his teeth when he saw Sanji’s hand was on your body, guiding you with something. “This dude is touching her all the time without any problems.” Penguin said, while Shachi and Bepo looked at him confused. “What does it matter? She clearly enjoys his attention. We should go back to our spot right now.” Shachi said and the three of them returned back to the top of the nearby mountain.

After your work for the day was done, you and Sangoro cleaned everything up. “Those two are idiots.” Sanji said. He was still a little furious about the situation earlier. “They were right tho. I did reject every offer to get along with them…I even ignored Shachi and Penguin the whole time.” Sanji interrupted you. “But you had your reasons.” You sighed. “Yeah but they don’t know them. It’s ok Sanji. I will apologize to them the next time I see them. I was pretty rude back there as well.”You silently stood beside him. “Maybe you should join us Y/N-chan. I’m sure Luffy wouldn’t be against it.” “I can’t, Sanji.” Sanji sighed and lit up a cigarette. He blew some smoke before turning towards you. “I know you are loyal to your captain and he appreciates you and your skills. You looked at him sadly. “Do you really think so?” He grinned at you.”Of course Y/N-chan. Otherwise he wouldn’t have let you go to Whole Cake Island to rescue me. Say, why are you interested in this douchebag anyway?” Your face turned red. “S-Sanji…! Don’t be so loud. I..-I guess he doesn’t remember anymore but when they docked on my island, he was the first of the crew I met. He was so thoughtful and sweet back there. I couldn’t help myself.”

Robin x short strong gn! reader

You and Robin were undercover in the Land of Wano. You knew your girlfriend was undercover as a Geisha to get close to the Shogun and gave information. So you decided to keep it on the low and keep your eye on her. You were also undercover but you were less involved than Robin was. You wanted her to be careful since you knew what would happen if she got caught.

When the Shogun Kurozumi Orochi was throwing a feast, you knew Robin was going to be there and get info out of him. You hid up in the attic along with Shinobu and Nami as you kept a close eye on your girl. She was near the shogun as you watched her and her surroundings intently. Once Hiyori captured the Shogun's interest, you saw Robin go out of the room. You knew where she was going you were there just in case as she went through the Poneglyphs. As she was reading them you immediately heard a voice which you figured out once you saw the Orochi Oniwabanshu, the shogun's personal military force of ninjas. You saw her getting confronted as she tried to lie to them but saw through her bluff. You turned to the girls to see them freaking out. You saw her cornered by them as you then burst down through the wood as you landed on your feet. You have your concealed bald up to your chin as you were in a protective stance protecting Robin.

“Ah should’ve expected you’ll be here. [l/n] [name] with the bounty of 2 billion berries.” Fukurokuju the leader of the ninjas proclaimed as he grinned toward you and Robin. You turned to Robin and smiled as she also smiled back at you. You hear Fukurokuju chuckles as the ninjas start attacking the both of you. “Robin, run get out of here I’ll take care of them.” But before she could escape one of the ninjas got to her and tied her up with rope and attacked her with shurikens. You saw the ninjas proud but turned surprised once they heard you chuckle. While you did so Robin's body disintegrated as it was just a simple clone. “It’s like it's just you and me…”

Eventually you beat off some of the ninjas as they were knocked out from your skills. You put your blade back in the concealment. You walked by the door of where Robin was as you saw the scene impact with her still being in there. You got her out as you swung your blade and easily got the people away from the two of you. You two were running as Robin was holding Toko as you two got out. “Thanks for saving me back there [name]” she smiled as you grabbed her hand gently and kissed the back of it. “I’m always here to protect you.

The poor princess that’s had to be undercover this whole time… and as a geisha too. I wonder what she actually does with the money she manipulates out of the suckers. Fund the rebellion or help people suffering?

Aizawa Undercover

Two of The Many Faces of Aizawa Shota! (fic wip name hehe)

I think the most interesting and unexplored MHA concept is underground heroes going undercover, so I made two concepts for an undercover Aizawa to test if I can keep a character's recognizably while also having them w/ different personalities and outfits! I think I might make a fic based off of these two undercover stories, especially Zukyō! I even have a design for one of the hostess girls 'she' watches over :]!

Identity 1: Shout ('Shout'a, obviously, and also Present Mic influence)

Aizawa went undercover to bust a drug smuggling ring via underground raves. The character traits of Shout are based off of Present Mic and Oboro, very excitable and easy going. He took down the ring via just kind of making his way into people's good graces. He still goes to raves as Shout occasionally, if only because he's nostalgic.

Identity 2: Zukyō (図強) (a mix of 指図 'command' and 強力な 'powerful'), also known as Mama-san (a woman in a position of authority, especially one in charge of a geisha house or bar).

'She' works at a dingy hostess club in a red-light district. The place is frequented by villains and people who run in those circles, so Aizawa's job is to pick up on conversations had with the girls. Aizawa was sent there instead of an actual female pro hero because of worries for a woman's safety in such a situation. Most people don't notice his more masculine features because of his undercover makeup skills, and the girls think their Mama-san is trans and protect her femininity with their lives. The character traits of Zukyō/Mama-san are based off of Midnight.

My headcanons are full of Cissnei doing undercover missions basically anywhere and needing to adapt to a variety of settings. I did this sketch a while ago but refined/colored it since I liked the attitude in it!

Blue Eye Samurai (2023) / Lady Snowblood (1973)

I've only watched two episodes. The premise reminds me of Lady Snowblood, where a vengeful character hunts down the one who defiled her mother and kills those who stand in her way.

There's been numerous Japanese films and anime set during the feudal era with a warrior female lead, like Lady Snowblood, Crimson Bat, Ichi, Tsukikage Ran, Koto Nakazawa, Yae no Sakura, Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood, Undercover Geisha, etc.

Unfortunately they are not known in the west as the films were made for domestic market. So Hollywood take the opportunity to "recreate" them for the western audience like this Blue Eye Samurai.

I truly hope there's a legit reason why that Japanese-dressed character has a Chinese name, and that it's not another case of white people lumping different Asians together.

Yeah, one of my concerns (and a concern I've heard others express too) is the multicultural aspect of it and how they're going to pull that off. I don't know nearly enough about most cultures to be able to tell what is 100% authentic and true, especially in a period piece like this, so I can only really wait and see.

Somebody directed me to this article to read up more on chinese and japanese culture and how geishas were heavily influenced by the chinese courtesan, so this might explain a bit of this apparent overlap. There was also an official article released giving some light info on each (main) character (don't read if you want to go in completely blind, but it doesn't contain spoilers per se), and if you read about Ling Yi it's pointed out that despite being "dressed as a geisha" she still speaks cantonese. The article calls this "curious", which to me reads as there being something more behind it and it's part of the mystery. She might be undercover, since every character seems to be hiding something, and I can definitely see how all the other characters are completely blind to the discrepancies bc well...ignorance. I shouldn't speculate too much, tho. We only have a week left before we find out what the case may be! Jantje and Bo have proven to be very serious and meticulous creators so my hope is def that they've put the work in.

Final Fantasy 14 Midori: Midori is an Au'Ra who grew up in the Ruby Sea with two older sisters. The three were nobles, treated like precious dolls to serve their family. Midori was the youngest, always causing issues with her clumsiness and hiding away from others shyly. The three dreamed of seeing the world above after hearing from travelers about a grand revolution against a terrible tyrant. It was then that Midori learned of Yugiri, another Au Ra like herself, and grew to admire her.

When the oldest decided they wanted to leave home and break free from their confined noble lives, the other two went with her to explore the world. Since Midori admires Yugiri, she wants to be a ninja like her, training hard despite not being the best at it now that she is free to do so.

Final Fantasy 14 Xia: Xia is flirtatious and charming, using her beauty and words to attract anyone she desires. A masterful manipulator, Xia finds it fun to play with the hearts of others and trick them into thinking she’s desperately in love with them, only to be using them for power or fortune (or both). Kugane was her final stop. Xia had been around a majority of places, flirting and taking riches from both unsuspecting men and women.

She ran away before they could find out and catch her, hopping place to place before she found Kugane. She fell in love with the town, the people there never seeing a Viera before and willing to spend time (and money) on her. Xia thought about becoming a geisha but wanted to be more free in case trouble came to her again. She took up becoming a samurai in order to protect herself better, being in the rogue guild from some time but now living too far from them.

Final Fantasy 7 Xia: She used to live in the slums but ran from home, joined the Honeybee Inn, then after stole from Corneo and escaped. The Turks learned of her escapade and ran into her before hiring her on as a newbie. She found her calling being an undercover unit for them and is loyal to them while they are keeping an eye on her to keep her out of trouble.

Pokemon Gijinka AU Kyana: Kyana is a trainer aiming for the big leagues and championship. She wants that under her belt so that maybe she has a really good chance to become a fire-type gym leader. Though battling with a sort of single type of Pokemon is a bit tough, she loves fire types so much to stick with it. Kyana herself is very energetic and can be hyper, rushing into things without a lot of thought. She loves to battle but also kind of wishes there were contests like the ones she heard exist in other regions.

Kyana also tends to let her emotions drive her, including wearing her heart on her sleeve and tends to crush easily on anyone cute and charming.

Genshin Impact Iyumi: Iyumi is a Electro Fatui mage on the prowl for someone cute she can call hers. To most she acts vicious and snobby, ready to electrocute them should they get on her nerves. But should she find the someone she wants, she becomes more adoring and flirty, chasing after them until she can have them. Which can turn into an aggressive chase should the other not want her.

Genshin Impact Kyana: Kyana is from Mondstadt, growing up learning about the wind god as well as the knights of Favonius. When she discovered her Vision, she couldn’t control it well and caused many accidents. But her parents never hated her for it, instead worked hard and encouraged her to train herself and use her abilities for good.

After all, Visions were seen as gifts from gods, so she had a greater purpose to fulfill. Kyana feels like her purpose is to become a knight and protect the people of Mondstadt from any danger. She works hard to catch their eye so they will accept her in.

Kingdom Hearts Diana: Diana is the resident of a world called Eclipse’s Embrace, a medieval old European world with knights and even mages. At a young age, Diana looked up to her mother who was a knight of the kingdom and wanted to be just like her. She practiced hard though they had no need to worry about battles as the world was at peace. That is until the darkness came.

When the heartless invaded her home world, a very young Diana was sent alone on a gummi ship set to anywhere safe by autopilot. Her parents said they were going to join her in another one, making sure she was safe first, but never made it. Their whereabouts to her are still unknown. After a Heartless encounter in Traverse Town, Diana discovered she was a keyblade wielder and now is off to stop the darkness and find her family.

Tsareena Gijinka Iyumi (A Pokemon Gijinka version of Iyumi where she is a Tsareena. Prissy and can seem stuck up but is actually willing to help others. If you’re charming and caring, her personality flips and she becomes a lot more friendly and adoring.)

Demon Iyumi: A demon AU for Iyumi where she is a demon princess wanting to find her king and become a queen! Though her stuck up, snobbish attitude tends to scare away others. However, if she has interest in you, her personality switches and she’ll be nice and adoring towards you, possibly even flirty. Though watch out, when she sets her eyes on someone she wants, she’ll do anything to get them. Also has a Disgaea verse where she is a wannabe Overlord!

Goddess of Darkness Iyumi and Goddess of Light Miyuki: Twin goddesses with not only polar powers but polar personalities. Iyumi is a snob and a bit of a brat, seeing herself as above all others (especially mortals) though secretly wants to find someone to love (and dominate over) and has a secret soft side as well. Miyuki is sweet and kind and has a very sympathetic heart, willing to help any mortals she comes across that are in trouble. Though she is also quite gullible and naive. The two bicker at times but try to work with each other.

Kingdom Hearts Xia: Xia used to be a normal girl named Ai living in Radiant Garden until the darkness came and consumed the town and her along with it. Ai was a sweet, kind, lady that loved nature but the darkness had consumed her heart so greatly her Nobody ended up being nothing like her. When she became a Nobody she gained the ability to summon and control plants, her favorite things to summon being roses and vines. This power might have come from the fact Ai’s parents owned a flower shop and Ai’s favorite flower was roses. Xia woke up with strangely no memories of her past self, only her name Ai. This didn’t bother her though as she decided with her new found powers to explore the worlds. She had heard of a group called Organization XIII and discovered they were Nobodies just like her and spied on them for quite some time and decided to change her name to have an X in it as well. She’s hoping to catch their attention and become a part of them just to have some allies on her side. Or perhaps use them for her own devious purposes.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Ai: Ai Malificia is a Golden Deer student. A little shy but friendly and kind to all, Ai mainly focuses on magic, studying Reason and Faith. She can be seen in the library or the courtyard but especially the greenhouse with all the flowers. Ai loves flowers, especially pink roses. She also has a twin sister who has run away from home that she hasn’t heard from in a long time. The two were dotted on by their overprotective parents as both had Crests.

They feared what could happen to the two and though Ai didn’t mind, her sister had enough and decided to run away. Ai was sad for days until she heard about the Monastery. It took some convincing for her parents to let her attend as a student but finally they let her go. Now on her own, Ai strives to do her best and learn to be a healer in order to help others.

Goddess Ai: Ai is kind-hearted, gentle, soft-spoken, nature goddess who loves flowers as well as relaxing activities like painting or reading with tea. She is quite naive about the world though, only knowing little from books and hasn’t been outside much due to worrying that there is danger out there. Ai is sweet and could possibly never harm anyone no matter the danger she may end up in.

Vampire Xia: Flirtatious and mischievous, Xia loves to prey on those who fall for her charms. She of course aims for a meal but also likes luxurious things so she targets the rich and gets them to fall for her so they give her whatever she wishes. She pretends to be human, going from place to place to have her fun and doesn’t settle on one place for too long.

Twisted Wonderland Kyana: A Twisted Wonderland verse for Kyana with her as the MC! Suddenly transported away from her city home to the strange academy, Kyana is far from home with no magic and no idea how to get back. But she doesn’t let it get her down too much. Fascinated by the new world she is in, she sets to explore it and meet the various students of the dorms.

Still, why was she brought here? What is her purpose? These questions circle the mind of the spunky, fiery spirited girl as she attends the academy as a student, trying to learn all she can about the world and a possible way back.

Pokemon AU Nikki: A young trainer with octopus type Pokemon, her favorite being an Octillery she named Tickles! She can be rather strange, doing odd things and saying odd things but is rather friendly, even to those who might be evil. She sees every Pokemon as a potential friend, no matter how scary they may seem!

Yugioh 5DS Aku: Aku lives in the not so grand parts of Neo Domino though it’s not too shabby either. He loves to duel and duels with a rather tough, cocky, sadistic personality. His deck reflects him so that he was nicknamed the Dark Punk by random strangers. Nobody really hangs with him because of how he is but the friends he does make he is loyal and kind too. He became a duelist to better himself at dueling and become the greatest like his idol, Jack Atlas.

Angel Miyuki: Miyuki or Miyu is a young angel of heaven. She watches over humans with great curiosity but also a sense of duty to protect them. She is quite interested in the mortal world and wishes to visit it one day. Though she is no warrior, she wishes to use her healing abilities to help anyone in need. Miyu cares a lot for all living things and sympathizes easily with others’ struggles, even demons and fallen angels. The innocent angel only wishes to help whoever in need in whatever way she can. Fairy Miyuki/Miyu: Miyu is a friendly fairy that lives in the forest. Since people who come there sometimes get lost, if she finds anyone with such a case, she tries to help them in any way she can to find their way out and be happy. She feels sorry for them and also as someone who was born in the forest, finds it her duty to help those who don’t know the area well. Miyu is however naive and desires to help everyone even if they might have hidden intentions, and is rather innocent in nature. She could never hurt anyone even if they were to try and hurt her.
