i was tagged by the wonderful @thnx4thefish .. and this is only a glimpse into the playlist I have on repeat everyday. a playlist aptly named “ATEEZ/MONSTA X/STRAY KIDS”. I’m surprised KAI didn’t make the order.. 😅😅 and the last six month for shits and giggles… shiggles, if I may. the playlist keeps me sane at work.

Medicine - Daughter
"You've got a warm heart. You've got a beautiful brain but it's disintegrating"
Love me like you used to - Lord Huron
"I swear this time around I'm gonna stay and when I dream I'll only dream of you I curse the goddamn day that I went and left you" (this one was very hard the whole song is my favorite)
Lonesome and mad - Under the rug, Ariel Posen
" The flowers you planted have died and now, here, they shiver awaying and pedal-bare as the wind comes through whistling"

Reminder that the US bombed Iraq a day ago. Reminder that this attack has killed 16 Iraqis, many of whom were civilians. Reminder that Iraq has already suffered enough at the hands of US imperialism, that to this day it’s recovering from the aftermath of being defamed to the world as terrorists, from its cities being destroyed under the guise of “exterminating ISIS” (an echo of Israel decimating Palestine to “exterminate Hamas,” interesting), that the US has so many ulterior motives to continue encroaching upon Iraq that have nothing to do with their seemingly noble rationale, and that it does all this while funding Israel’s ongoing genocide of Palestinians (which are basically doing their dirty work of pushing further in on Arab territory). It’s jarring that this is all happening on a world stage & yet nothing is being done to stop it. Hands off Iraq. Free Palestine. Hands off Iraq. Free Palestine.

still one of my favorite bits i ever got to commit was pretending not to know who jesus is when a street preacher was evangelizing to me. he was like "do you know who jesus is?" and i had so much time before my next bus and i wanted to know what would happen so i said no. and you know what. he had clearly never been told no to that question before because if i hadn't actually known who jesus was, his baffled and fumbling attempt sure wouldn't have told me. literally reversed the roles. now you get to stand here feeling very uncomfortable and wishing you could be somewhere else because guess what buddy, this is my bus stop, im early (and can catch like five other buses from this exact stop), and im now thoroughly invested in hearing about this mysterious jesus figure. you're locked in here with me. im eating the key as we speak. i will kill us both before i let you out of here.
very highly recommend this bit if you can pull it off and if you have time to kill

UNDER THE RUG
Throughout our life we are faced with various challenges that can either have a positive or a negative impact not only on our own life but on the life of those in our social circle. This is why it is is important that when we make choices that are life changing that we take full responsibility for our actions and not play the blame game when put on spot. When we are faced with a dilemma our actions either lead us to face them head on or do the opposite and ignore the red flags that are infront of us, either way our choices will always remain with us till the end. When you consciously choose to ignore the signs that your intuition is trying to highlight then all that will follow is regret. All we have is the power of truth to stand by and build up on if we are to ever feel good about ourselves because truth is the person we claim to be and the alternative is brushing our problems underneath the rug while pretending to be a saint while sinning in disguise. Eventually you will trip up over the bulge of lies that are as contradictory as your alter ego represents and be caught out in the karma that is coming. So if your beliefs contradict your actions then maybe look at yourself and ask yourself do you really believe in what you're saying or are you just to weak to admit that you are no saint. Either way you will be much happier if admitted that you are a narcissistic person than denying your selfish ways.

Actually am still kinda pissed that my fiancé's psychatrist evaluated him for anxiety and said he didn't have it but then was like "in the future I'd like to see you make enough progress with your anxiety that you feel comfortable taking your mask(N95 not neurodivergent mask) off" and didn't seem to care when he explained that his fiancé(me) has several severe chronic illnesses and immune issues so we both do what we can to ensure I don't get sick with any illness, not just covid. Like does he have anxiety or not?? You can't have it both ways buddy!! And like it or not protecting a vulnerable person from getting sick is logical, YOU'RE the one being irrational here.
Like this is why I get pissed about mask(N95) stuff, people have legit fallen into some kind of thought-terminating cliché about covid and all other contagious diseases not being a problem anymore to the point that they think even sick people and their loved ones taking reasonable precautions to protect their health is a sign of anxiety and paranoia. I truly do not get it. Like it's one thing if you personally don't want to wear a mask(N95) but at least leave people who do alone, but legit acting like people like me are insane for doing something that makes perfect sense is turning me into the Joker. It doesn't even work to say "oh I have asthma and allergies and the air quality is bad today" or "I'm having an important surgery soon and need to make sure I don't get sick" like they think wearing a mask(N95) AT ALL in any circumstance for any reason means you've legit lost your mind.
I genuinely feel like the government suddenly started hiding all the national car crash statistics and insisted in tons of press conferences that crashing your car is actually perfectly fine and not a big deal at all and wearing a seatbelt isn't something healthy people need to worry about, so now everyone thinks it's silly to wear one and every time I do I have to deal with people implying or outright stating that I'm legitimately mentally ill and need an intervention.

I feel like many people have a fundamental misconception of what unreliable narrator means. It's simply a narrative vehicle not a character flaw or a sign that the character is a bad person. There are also many different types of unreliable narrators in fiction. Being an unreliable narrator doesn't necessarily mean that the character is 'wrong', it definitely doesn't mean that they're wrong about everything even if some aspects in their story are inaccurate, and only some unreliable narrators actively and consciously lie. Stories that have unreliable narrators also tend to deal with perception and memory and they often don't even have one objective truth, just different versions. It reflects real life where we know human memory is highly unreliable and vague and people can interpret same events very differently
