Warnings/Tags : Cursing, alcohol, older!Five. I was so happy to get a Five request! Haven’t written for him in so long it was good to get back into his head <3

Prompts : “If you seriously propose that I sit on your lap, I will kill you.", “Are they really just a friend?”

You could feel Five’s eyes boring into the back of your head from across the bar. Trying your hardest to focus on whatever Klaus was rambling about now. Even without the alcohol, his bubbly speech fit right in with the chatter of the intoxicated around you. You sipped your drink, something Lila had ordered for you. One of her favorites, since she couldn’t drink it.

It had become more and more of a challenge to deal with this unspoken thing between you and Five. Especially when you had his brothers and sister-in-laws constantly hounding you. He rested against the bar top, exuding confidence as his fingers curled around the crystal glass in his hands. His right hand laid on his thigh. You caught his eye for a moment, cursing as his familiar smirk tugged on the corner of his lip.

“Y/n.” Klaus said, snapping his fingers in front of your face.

“I’m listening.” You nodded, turning to look at him, bringing your glass up to your lips.

“I thought you were eye-fucking my brother across the bar.” He chuckled, a wide grin splitting across his face.

“Klaus!” You hissed, taking a step closer to him. Wide eyed as you turned your back on Five.

“What?” He laughed, “I can not tell a lie.” He said, holding his hand up in a fake salute.

“I was not eye-fucking him.” You say, feigning disgust, “Besides we are just friends.” You quickly brought your drink up, taking a large gulp.

“Is he really just a friend?” He said, raising an eyebrow.

“You know Klaus, I’m sorry but I’m gonna have to agree with Five here.” You said with a shrug, starting to walk backwards away from him, “You need to find some friends that aren’t your siblings.” You said with a teasing smile.

“Who peed in your wheaties?” He scoffed as you walked through the sea of bodies to Five. He greeted you with a smug smile, lifting up his glass.

“Got tired of Klaus?” He asked, raising a brow.

“How could you tell?” You laughed looking for an open chair nearby. His eyes got a certain glint in them, he took a breath clicking his tongue.

“You know-“ He started, holding his arm open over his lap.

“If you seriously propose I sit on your lap, I will kill you.” You said, rolling your eyes.

“Just a suggestion sweetheart.” He said with a nonchalant shrug, his signature smug grin on his lips. You lean on the bar top next to him, swallowing the rest of your drink.

“You wanna know what Klaus was talking about?” You asked, hissing as the alcohol burned your throat. Giving you a newfound confidence.

“Enlighten me.” He chuckled

“He said that I was ‘eye-fucking’ you.” You chuckled, heat blooming in your cheeks at your admission. He raised his eyebrows, a small smirk tugging at his lips.

“Hm,” He thinks for a moment, “I would have thought he would have said that about me.” Your mouth goes dry at his words. You were glad you hadn’t been drinking because you’re sure you would have choked.

“What?” You chuckled nervously.

“Would have thought he would have seen me ‘eye-fucking’ you.” He grinned, his eyes raking over your body.

“Are you kidding?” You sputter, your eyes wide as you stare at Five.

“Do I look like I’m kidding sweetheart?” He asked, raising his brows, that stupid fucking smirk plastered on his face. You blink a couple times, trying to think of a coherent sentence. He sighs, sucking in a breath. “Look, I get it if-“ You cut him off, pressing your lips against his.

He reached forward, wrapping his hand around the back of your neck as he pulled you closer. You stumbled forward, your hand falling onto his thigh. His slacks slick under your hand. His tongue swipes your lower lip, a silent ask for entrance. Which you happily agree to. The smooth taste of his cognac filled your senses as he licked into your mouth.

It was intoxicating, his hands were everywhere, as his tongue delved into your mouth. The rest of the world seemed to fall away, as though you were the only two people in existence.

You two parted, panting as he looked at you through heavy lidded eyes. A boyish grin spread across his lips, replacing the smirk he had earlier.

“I like that drink,” He chuckled, swiping his thumb over his lip “I think I need another taste.”

“I’d have to agree.” You giggled, moving forward to kiss him again.

Whumptober Masterlist/Overview

Hey guys! I'm going to be attempting to participate in Whumptober this year (though admittedly I did kind of mash together a few different prompt lists). I have about 20 days planned out right now, and I really hope to get through them, but no guarantees unfortunately, because I do have other stuff going on in my life. Also most of these are in fact just going to be hurt/comfort because I am a weak man. Also yes I am aware that the variation in these characters is kind of insane, don't come at me.

Day Two - Migraines - Darry Curtis - Juggling a migraine and the Curtis gang is not the easiest thing in the world. Luckily, Darry is there to come to your rescue and tell the others off

Day Three - Overstimulation - Diego Hargreeves - (1960s, autistic Reader) - Between the prison break, Diego's strange brother, and home movie footage showing the assassination of the president, your not sure how much more you can take.

Day Four- Field medicine/"Hang on, we're going to have to improvise." - Fili - Even with the battle beginning to turn in your favor, there are still many losses to come, no matter how hard you work to prevent them.

Day Five - "You don't need to earn this." - Tommy Shelby - When your surprises and gentle treatment catch Tommy by surprise, he questions what he'd done to deserve it.

Day Six - Hostile environment/"I don't know how anyone could survive that." - Alfie Solomons - (War Era, Male Reader) - A poorly planned attack leaves you stuck in no mans land. Even if you make it back to the so called "safety" of the English trenches, nothing will ever be the same.

Day Seven - Needles/Stitching - John Shelby - After being sent on another needless errand by his brother, John returns late, exhausted and bloody.

Day Eight - Panic Attack - Aaron Hotchner - When a case that hits too close to home has too many missing pieces, and seemingly no end, you can't help but fall prey to a growing sense of panic.

Day Nine - Falling Asleep in a hospital room - Bradley 'Rooster' Bradshaw - When a training incident gone wrong lands Bradley in the hospital, you take it upon yourself to stay with him.

Day Ten - "Shhh, I've got you now, I'm here." - Alfie Solomons - Sabini's men kidnap you in a desperate attempt to get a leg up on your husband. When Alfie finds out, he's ready to burn the world down to get to you.

Day Eleven - Chronic pain - Boromir - The first day of a cold spell causes your pain to flare up, but you're determined to grit your teeth through the pain. Boromir however, is determined to get you to rest.

Days Twelve - Fourteen Break Days

Day Fifteen - Hiding an Injury - Aragorn - Somewhere in the thicket of Helms Deep, you're injured, but in the chaos that follows, doing anything about it seems to slip your mind.

Day Sixteen - "I did good, right?" - Umbrella Academy Unit - A mission gone wrong forces you to over use your powers, pushing you too far.

Day Seventeen - Bleeding Through Bandages - Kili - After being injured in escaping the Orcs, Oin does his best to heal you, but miles down the road, it doesn't seem to be enough.

Day Eighteen - Nightmare - Alfie Solomons - Night after night, you are plagued with nightmares, and Alfie seems to be the only thing that can cure them.

Day Nineteen - Scars - Diego Hargreeves - While patching Diego up after a fight, you see his scars for the first time.

Day Twenty - "Who did this to you?" - Dallas Winston - You get jumped, Dally plots revenge.

Day Twenty One - "You haven't done anything wrong." - Aaron Hotchner - (Autistic reader) - After a particularly long day, you find yourself overwhelmed and unsure. Luckily Aaron is there to help you calm down, no matter how much you protest.

Day Twenty Two - Chronic Pain (again) - Alife Solomons - Getting Alfie to take a day off when his sciatica is bothering him is a full time job.

Day Twenty Three - Exhaustion - Darry Curtis - Darry has been working himself to the utter bone. You take it upon yourself to make him rest.

Pairing: Diego Hargreeves x reader

Characters: Diego, Y/N

Description: Y/N is taken by an old enemy of Diego's and when he comes to their rescue, he makes the kidnapper pay.

If you were honest with yourself, you expected to be kidnapped considering who your boyfriend was and who his family were. What you didn't expect, however, is to be kidnapped by somebody you knew.

You were sat in the middle of a darkened room, the only light coming from the small window at the side of you. Your wrists were sore and slightly bleeding from the constant writhing to get out of the ropes. Hearing footsteps coming closer to the door, you sat up straight and put on a stoic expression before your kidnapper entered the room.

"Hello, Y/N. How lovely to see you again." Your eyes widened as your childhood best friend stood in front of you. "Bradley? What the actual hell?!" He chuckled as he walked towards you and knelt down in front of you. "Well, Y/N, it turns out that your boyfriend and I have a rather large rivalry with each other. He keeps beating down my illegal dealings and to be honest, I've had enough."

You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "OK, let me get this straight. Diego is doing good in this world by taking down whatever illegal shit you're doing and you've decided to take me as a way to teach him a lesson?" Bradley smiled at you and tapped your cheek. "Well done, you're catching on." "Well, I want to know something. How did my sweet best friend turn into a full-on criminal mastermind?" He smirked at you and stood up. "That's a story for another day I'm afraid. It seems as though Diego has made his arrival."

A huge smirk spread across your face. "He is going to kick your ass. It was the worst mistake taking me." Bradley made his way behind you and wound a gag tight around your head before pointing a gun at your head. A loud scuffle sounded outside the door and a pang of happiness rang through your body. You weren't scared in the slightest, you knew what Diego was capable of and you knew that he wouldn't let Bradley hurt you.

The door swung open and Diego pushed one of the guards in, ripping his knife out of their chest. Spotting you in the middle of the room, his eyes widened a little but you nodded to signal that you were alright. "You have 3 seconds to move that gun away from their head before I beat the shit out of you."

Bradley pushed the gun further into the side of your head, making you wince a little. Diego growled and Bradley chuckled at how quickly he was getting to him. "Now, now Diego. No need for violence. I just want you to stop interfering with my work. It's getting really annoying and I need to live, ya know?"

"I wouldn't have to interfere if your work was legit but what you're doing is hurting people and it needs to stop. There is no way I'm going to let it carry on." Diego gripped the base of his knife tightly in his hand as he spotted Bradley moving further beside you. "Well, then, I suppose Y/N here will have to say goodbye won't they?" You heard the click of the gun right in your ear and you closed your eyes, knowing exactly what was about to happen.

Before Bradley could shoot Diego threw the knife at the gun and knocked it out of his hand, causing Bradley to stumble back in surprise. "I'm going to beat you until you can't remember you're own name." Diego stalked towards Bradley as if he were prey, a sinister smirk on his face. "I'll give you one hit. You better make it good." "Don't worry, it will be."

Diego swung his fist back and put all of his power into the punch, knocking Bradley completely off his feet and to the ground. Diego climbed on top of him and grabbed the scruff of his shirt. "If you ever touch Y/N again, or even think about them, I won't be so easy on you. I won't just beat your ass, I'll kill you. Understand?" Bradley nodded his head, clearly scared. Diego laughed before swinging his fist back and connected it with Bradley's face, knocking him out cold.

Diego got up and ran over to you, cutting your binds from your hands. You took the gag out of your mouth and smiled at your boyfriend, who offered you his hand to help you up. "You alright? Did he hurt you?" "No, but I did know him. Turns out he was my childhood best friend." Diego raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "I will never understand the things that go through these guys heads."

He kissed the side of your head, swung his arm over your shoulders, and walked you out of the building. "Wanna go for food? I'm starving." You rolled your eyes and chuckled before getting into your side of the car. "Trust you to be hungry after beating a guy."

I think this idea would be amazing for a fanfiction. Change things slighty here and there but hint that the apocalypse is still going to happen. But the reader doesn't know who, because no one is evil or suspicious or anything of the sort. But as the plot goes on, everyone slowly gets more powerful.

Then, the apocalypse. And everything is going to shit. Nobody meant to do what they did. It all just happened.

They travel back in time, they are all together this time. And they all break down. They all destroyed the world that they had tried to save the last few days. They were the catalyst and they are much stronger than any of them would have thought

Lila tensed slightly. Introducing Five as her ‘handsome fella’ had been a spur-of-the-moment decision, mostly to explain why they’d been whispering during the presentation. It also explained why they’d spent the rest of the evening close together and eventually left as a pair. She thought about how to go with this story as she scanned the room, spotting him by the bar, talking to Larry from the Orlando branch. 

Hilary, ever observant, caught her gaze instantly. 

“Is that him? The one with the mustache?” 

“That’s Jerome, yes,” Lila said, trying to sound casual. 

“My, Nancy, I must say, you have excellent taste. Hmm, that mustache is something,” Hilary said, clearly checking him out, her fan tapping her chin in thought.

Random Prompt idea;

Human Grace in 1981-1984 decides to take a look at what her ex is up to (while visiting Pongo) and finds out he not only built a robot with her face and name attached but that he also adopted seven kids he is mistreating and flips her shit.

Yelling at him until he signs over custody.

Yelling at Pongo "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ALLOWING THIS"

Looking at her robot self and telling her to pack her things because she's coming too.

Only for Robot Grace to be like "I am not programmed to leave."

Cue Pongo being forced to fix Robot Grace's programming so she can leave with the kids and human Grace.

Regained being Reginald tries buying/adopting more of the kids only for Human Grace to beat him to it (she doesn't get Sloane but she still ends up in the family because of Luther).

Cue Human Grace being the best mom, mother in law, grandma, and person ever.

And Reginald gets nothing because he deserves nothing.

X Reader / OC Fanfic Ideas

These are my fanfic ideas for x reader / OC that I made up cuz I can't write for shit. It would be nice to see if anyone is willing to use these ideas but don't worry no pressure. I will be updating these and Also, I am not sure If you can understand some of them so please don't mind my English. :)

MARVEL

Mutant OC / Reader: So I recently watched X-Men 97 and I LOVED IT. It was really good and I highly recommend the show. So You know when I watch something and if I happen to really like it, then my mind immediately into daydreaming about how to insert myself or create a new OC for the story. In this case, I thought of a character with similar abilities to Atom Eve a.k.a Samantha Eve Wilkins, from Invincible. If you didn't know she can manipulate Atoms. I thought it was interesting and It could be for the movies or the shows. Or even the Avengers / MCU.

Mutant Detective OC / Reader: I think they could be a detective and during one incident their mutant powers awaken. It could be related to being a detective like how they use their powers to help them investigate certain cases and ALSO, I was thinking of having supernatural themes added to the mix. Reader / OC works on those types of cases since they could be relevant depending on the Marvel universe...I'dk if you understood but yeah...

Red Widow OC / Reader: I made a moodboard for this and to give you some context; the red widow is a trained assassin from the red room and if I am not mistaken she used to idolize Natasha and all that. She's pretty vigilant in combat skills, great in fencing, and a trained acrobat. I was thinking of an OC / Reader based off of her in the MCU. They could be Natasha's Siblings alongside Yelena. It could also be the middle child, which would be a nice dynamic to see.

Gwenpool reader! Gwenpool reader!!!! The character who shifted from our universe to the mcu,, that would be so cool to see.

The Vampire Diaries

Elven OC / Reader. I remember reading a Kai Parker fanfic with a fae reader and I know there are differences between the two (I think...?). I did some research on elves and I think those types of characters would be a unique twist to the story. The OC / Reader could have any type of unique background to their character, for example: they could have a different realm for themselves keeping out humans, vampires, and some others alike. (Yes I've been doing a lot of thinking.)

Harshly Blunt Reader / OC. So we know there a certain people who need someone to talk some sense into their heads due to their actions. Like, let's say for example: Damon, Stefan, and even Elena. And a 'rude' character would just be perfect for that. They could even make the Mikaelsons get nervous after knowing them. They would hold this visible scowl or the 'resting bitch face' all the time. And also like to think that they could have a soft spot Bonnie because that girl deserves EVERYTHING.

From the Past Reader / OC. This character is from the past, similar to the Mikealsons, somehow they were put to sleep maybe by a witch or some other reason and they wake up alone in the current timeline by someone or something. And they also could be someone important. I am also thinking of their personality being all 'graceful and elegant', silently scoffing at how things change, could be a character development in itself for them. But that's up to the writer.

Isekai Reader / OC. The character is transported to the tvdu universe from the modern times.

Teen Wolf

Elven Reader / OC. Yep, the same thing because I think it would be unique and at the same time it would fit the tone too. (Also for more info on elves, I've read that they possess superior senses, immortality, magic, healing, close with nature, and also very vigilant in combat.) Could be a simple background like keeping the character and their family being all secretive about their nature and everything.

Silent Airhead Reader / OC...?: It would be funny to see this like shit would be happening around them and they're all like '🧍'. This could be because of various reasons like they don't know what's going on with werewolves and stuff and they're nervous/scared to ask someone over and over again about a certain situation and it's just a mess for them so they just have to endure all of that silently and go with the flow.

Riverdale

Ok so this one, I can explain. So Out of curiosity, I watched the show after hearing about issues like how the show's genre keeps shifting to another one and all the cringy stuff that happens. I couldn't finish the whole show but I thought of something: It's the Classic Isekai Trope with OC / Reader where they could be watching the show and they somehow woke up in Riverdale. It could be hilarious how the OC / Reader would have no choice but to witness the ongoing events around them. They could be trying their utmost best to avoid dramas and certain interactions but SOMEHOW they get roped into it. The thought of OC / Reader having a book on the list of things they need to avoid from the time they learned how to write is just funny to me. I'm not sure if there are similar fanfics yet but if there are it would be nice to know. And I'm so so so sorry if I offended any Riverdale Fandom!!!

Black Widow Reader / OC. The character with the same abilities as the mcu's Black Widow, they could be a famous supe or a secret assassin that allies with the the boys themselves. I don't think I've seen this anywhere but this would be cool to see since I love Nat so much and anything related to her.

Captain Marvel Reader / OC. Similar to the previous one and also because I love Carol So much. This could be taken from any interesting takes. Like, they could be in hiding and were found by someone, maybe by Billy. They could surprise the seven and some interesting dynamics could emerge like; rivalry with Homelander since he isn't the only one who is the 'all-powerful' anymore.

MCU reader / OC. Ok so the plot I am thinking is like this; Due to some multiverse misshape, the reader / OC gets transported from the MCU to this one. And till their friends from her home timeline figure out the mess, they had to deal with being in this world and I think it would be interesting and fun to see.

19. Blood

Ben has his eyes shut tight behind his domino mask, but it only blocks out one of his senses. He can still hear the men’s bodies being broken and ripped amongst the constant background of fearful, agonized, pleading screams; can feel the heat of their blood as it pours down on him; can smell and even taste how metallic it is as it splashes into his nostrils and makes its way through his clamped lips. Eventually the last of the screams are cut off and the final body parts drop to the floor. Finally, he can reel the Horror back in and go.

Some of his siblings clap him on the back and congratulate him on another job well done. “Ben, the finisher!” Some try to be comforting and check in on him.

They don’t get it.

He can’t stand being touched after a mission. He’s not like Klaus who needs to be held and grounded among the living after a training session, what he needs right now is to be away from this time and place. Dissociating, he’d recently read it was called, and the verbal and physical interactions just force him to stay in his skin. Skin on which he can feel the blood beginning to cool down. Soon it will be so cold that he’ll be shivering and it will turn so sticky that he’ll feel it with every move he makes.

By the time they make it home his clothes feel thick and heavy and they cling to him, making every movement tight and uncomfortable. It’s in his socks, squelching with each step, but he still has to sit through the debriefing session. His father and Luther go over every single detail of the mission, breaking down how each step of the plan was enacted and what each team member contributed, but very little of the discussion makes its way into Ben’s ears. He knows to pay attention toward the end so he can answer questions about his role.

“All eight combatants were disposed of within the escape corridor. Combatants’ weapons were spent by the time of retreat. I sustained no physical damage”

Thankfully his father has no follow-up questions that apply specifically to Ben, so he’s able to return to blocking out his senses quickly.

Finally they’re dismissed and he can head straight to the bathroom to wash the gore away. He leaves his blood-saturated clothes in a heap by the door, knowing that Mom will be by to take them away and leave his pajamas and a towel in a neatly folded pile by the window. Meticulously, he begins scrubbing every bit of blood from his body. It’s so congealed in his hair that he has to let the water run over his head for several minutes just to soften it enough to even begin shampooing. Once the water running down the drain is no longer tinged with red, he dries off and dresses for bed. The smell lingers faintly, but it’s as good as it’ll get.

As soon as the covers are in place he hears Klaus enter the room and slip in bed behind him.

He’s the only one who gets it.

That Ben can’t stand being touched when he’s wearing other people’s blood. He gives him his space after missions and waits until Ben is ready to be Ben again. Ben turns to make a pillow of Klaus’s chest and breathes in the scent of weed and peach body spray.

It smells like home.

Sorry, I've gone dark with content over here. I just finished TUA Sunday and really want to write wholesome content of one of the most dysfunctional adopted sibling groups featured in a Top 10 Netflix Original, but honestly? I haaaated season 4, and it still depresses me to think about it. Maybe I'll write a fic or two to cheer me up (eventually lmfao). But what kind of fic would get great reception for those who enjoyed the show up until Netflix butchered Season 4? Vote below!

(Also, I have some vague Wolverine Deadpool ideas percolating in my brain, and maybe after I crank out a couple of TUA fics, I can focus my energy there!!!) So what kind of TUA fic would you guys like?

“Guys, we survived three apocalypses.” Allison was standing in the living room, arms crossed, eyes scanning the room like a general assembling her troops. “Each time, someone almost died—” 

“Technically, we did die in Dallas,” Five interjected, sprawled on a windowsill, eyes narrowing. “Or do I also count your dead bodies from that time I traveled to the future?” 

“Yes. No. Thanks, Five, for that… ever-so-helpful input.” Allison sighed, trying to refocus. Her idea had been simmering for four years while they tried to settle into this new world. A world so mundanely normal it was starting to feel suffocating, even for her. Acting wasn’t taking off, and she wanted to focus on her family. Not just Claire and Klaus—all of them. Birthdays and maybe Christmases, if she could persuade them, were no longer enough. Her siblings were becoming unreachable, unmotivated, and it was driving her crazy. 

“What I mean is… this family is messed up.” She gave each of them a hard look. They all avoided her gaze—except Five, of course. The little shit wasn’t going to back down. He was past sixty and growing up cutely—but don’t you forget deadly—in his youthful eighteen-year-old body (she wasn’t jealous!), and still acting like a brat. She bet he’d been trampling all over broken hearts without even realizing it, oblivious to his growing hotness, all the while cursing the idiocy of everyone around him.

i just now realized why umbrella academy s4 feels so much worse than its previous seasons. it's trying to be the boys. it's going for shock value which, if you've seen the boys, is not really that shocking. and it's juxtaposing that with a cringefuckfest of an attempt at humor to try and make it a Dark Comedy. but all we have is a show that is trying to be both scandalous and funny at the same time, while failing at both. the writing and acting is so fucking bad! is everyone ok? there are 2 actors i like on this show (those of viktor and five) and even they are kind of lackluster this season? i will have to hatewatch this whole season.

nothing can be the boys a second time. there's better tv out there but the boys really did a good job nailing down dark comedy. in so many ways. it's a hard thing to do and umbrella academy thought it would try to capitalize on the trend without actually studying what makes dark comedy so good. it just feels like a m*rvel movie but with more gore and killing. boo.

Danny Phantom x Umbrella Academy

Very soon before Season 1, a homeless Klaus and Ben are wandering the streets when a distracted Danny, here while his parents are hunting ghosts again, accidentally bumps into Ben (literally) & apologizes, utterly confusing both Klaus & Ben because Ben being a ghost should make seeing him, let alone running into him, physically impossible.

Klaus figures he has nothing better to do and decides to hang out with Danny, even though Ben says he looks like a pedophile. Klaus is mostly curious about if Danny somehow has the same powers as him even though they’re clearly not the same age, though considering how old Five is, he supposes looks can be deceiving. He’s especially curious because Danny doesn’t seem to be a complete wreck like Klaus is so either Klaus would’ve coped fine with his powers without Reginald locking him in the mausoleum all the time or Danny has the secret to controlling ghosts.

Danny’s confused as to why no one can see ghosts in this town but Klaus and why Ben is unable to touch anyone/anything but Danny and eventually discovers that Amity is just severely contaminated with ectoplasm, allowing the living to see and interact with ghosts and allowing ghosts to gain tangibility in the human world. New ghosts are supposed to re-manifest in the Ghost Zone but something is stopping the ghosts in this town from doing so. Danny’s not about to let dozens of ghosts spend eternity intangible and invisible, it sounds soul-crushingly boring, so he calls up the Everlasting Trio and Jazz to help him unravel the mystery.
